Play your favorite retro game with http://www.retroarch.com!
I've always like playing retro game. But, during my childhood, I didn't get to play much as I didn't have my own console. I mostly tried it out at my friend's house or just see other people play. Heck, sometime, we didn't even have tv to watch because it was faulty. Didn't have money to repair, much less buy a new one.
The first ever console I got was the playstation 1. I'd used, my bonus paycheck to purchased it. Later on, I got myself my first pc with windows 3.1. I learned a lot about computers during that time. I upgraded to wins 95, NT, 2000 etc. Spend most of my time playing game on it. And, later on got the xbox 360 and the ps3.
I've always like games and gaming. Well, I'm sure most of you like gaming too. The gaming world have evolved into multi billion dollar business. With handheld and particularly games on mobile phone. I bought a lot of games for my nokia, sony-ericsson, samsung, blackberry, motorola and even for Palm one.
One of the thing I hated was once, you deleted the games, you can't re-download again. That's why, when Apple created the iTunes and the ability to buy and re-download your games, I was freaking happy about it. That's part of the reason why I like using the iPhone back then. I waited almost a year before it came to my country.
I managed to get the 2nd edition, iPhone 3G. I love new techs too. The iPhone promised something new and shiny for me to play with. I still remember how excited I was when Steve Jobs announced the first apple iPhone. I wanted it so bad. I even signup to a second telco just so, I can get the iPhone. Of course, I had to pay 2 bills every month!
Anyway, I've been rambling too long again. Watch the video and if you want to download the emulator goto:
"RetroArch is a frontend for emulators, game engines and media players. It enables you to run classic games on a wide range of computers and consoles through its slick graphical interface. Settings are also unified so configuration is done once and for all. RetroArch has advanced features like shaders, netplay, rewinding, and more!"
