is really a fun way to enhance your mobile gaming experience. Instead, of squinting at that small screen while playing, why not get a portable monitor and play it on a bigger screen. If you have a Samsung phone, like my s10+
then, get the dex pad
!The dex pad is a great accessory for your phone since you can dock on it and link up to a portable monitor. You can also charge at the same time. So, you don't have to worry about charging your phone when using the monitor. Of course, if you can't find any power around, a usb c to hdmi cable
would be needed to connect.Most of the time, I'm talking about the portable monitor that I'm using right now. Which, you can power with a normal 5v 2A power bank. There are others like the ZenScreen Go
that have a built-in battery. It does cost more, compare to other cheaper brands. You'll have to shop around and check out the specs. Most of them offer the ability to connect to your favorite gaming consoles like the Xbox
or ps4
.There aren't much different from the design too. One thing to remember is that they are actually quite heavy. I'm not sure how much mine weight, but it's pretty solid. It also comes with a protective case and a screen controller. Pretty useful, if you want to adjust the screen contrast or whatever. So, thoughtful of them.
Again, I'm using my phone to go into linux on dex and typing this. Yesterday, I forgot that I can use the browser 'zoom' feature to make the font bigger on this 13.3" screen. I can see a little better now. This is really great. To be able to turn your phone into a pc or laptop. To have all your videos, music and data in your pocket. They should really expand on this.
I know, it didn't really work decades ago. Why should it work now? Well, for one thing, the mobile phone isn't that powerful compares to today's phone. Now, you can watch videos in 1080p with no problem. You can play games that look like Gears of War
which are pretty console-like. Although, I'm wondering, why I still have to use a chrome or firefox mobile version on my phone. It's irritating.You can also easily connect your xbox one s controller
to your phone to play games that support it. Samsung on Dex and Linux on dex is also part of the reason, why I think, mobile computing can finally move forward. I can easily work and play with Samsung on Dex, but Linux on dex is really what people are most interested in as it's a full Ubuntu Linux OS. This is not possible back then.So, what are you waiting for? Jump into the mobile computing revolution!

Well, another article was done using my phone as a laptop. And, this monitor isn't that bad either. I can also use it as a second monitor to my 'real' laptop or pc. I haven't tried connecting my raspberry pi 3
but I'm pretty sure, it'll work fine. I haven't played around with my RPI for a while now. First thing first, improve the firefox and chrome version of Linux on dex!

. I constantly jump between Firefox and Chrome. I try to use Firefox as much as possible but, certain things like watching youtube are a pain. For chrome, it's still not the same as the pc version. Especially, when I need certain extensions.

touch screen, I found myself trying to tap on the monitor a couple of time. I'm not sure if you really need a touch screen. I prefer not to smudge my screen with fingerprints. That's something, I need to get used to when using this monitor. Well, I think, I'm going to leave it at that. My tummy is growling and I'll finish it here. In short, this is just like getting myself a new linux or android laptop. Way cool!
