Have you read about Samsung's latest mobile processor, Exynos 990 offering next-level intelligence? And, not just that, with this latest processor also includes the news about the latest 5G technology. The Exynos Modem 5123 which when paired with the 990 will practically turn your phone into a high-end broadband mobile computer.

My dream of a mobile phone that has the CPU and GPU just like a high-end gaming console or computer is finally coming true. Okay, we are not there yet. For now. They still have to design the phone that will incorporate both the Exynos 990 and Exynos modem 5123. I don't see a problem there. We already have the Note 10+. Put those on this bugger and let it fly!

I believe, the new Note 11 will come with the latest mobile modem and processor. I can't wait to get my hand on these latest technologies. I'm quoting from their website here which states,

I think the Note 10+ came out in August. I got mine this month of October. I'm pretty sure, Note 11 will come out around the same month of 2020. You should start saving now. I already plan to sell my Note 10+ and get my 11. That's if it comes with the new processor of course. Apple, the ball is now in your court!

Let's all see what can we do with the Samsung phone next year. Will Samsung improve more on the Samsung Dex experience? Will we finally see console-level games for the mobile phone without the pesky insistence on touch control or pay to play/upgrades? I know the AI will improve the camera with optimization but, I'm wondering if ever we'll be able to zoom to the moon. I've been wanting to get myself the Nikon Coolpix P1000. Can a phone camera come to that level of zooming?

Right now, we can already use our phone as a computer. Thanks to Samsung Dex. The user interface (UI) is clean, simple and fast. With so many apps that are on par with software already available on a computer. Even gaming on the phone is already up there. But, as always the problem is with the kind of game available right now. The insistent on touch control over real controller support is really dampening my hope of console-level gaming experience.

If triple AAA game developers take advantage of the latest capabilities of the Exynos 990, then mobile gaming might really explode. And, I will finally get what I've been wishing for since Steve Jobs introduced the first-gen iPhone with the gyro gaming. Yup, that was fun. For awhile. Now, it's time for real gaming!

We all know the Nintendo Switch is a great portable gaming console. You can play your favorite games on the go or dock it and play on the big screen Tv. The latest Samsung Note 10+ can also be like the switch. Albeit with a good controller.

You can play games on the Note 10+ with a controller like glap. Which for some reason not available on Amazon anymore. The controller is the only one that will fit the Note 10+ size. Which is around 6.8 inches. Coincidentally (or not) is bigger than the switch screen!

The switch screen size is only 6.2 inches. If you put the Note 10+ on a retractable controller maybe like the ipega 9083s, you'll have yourself a Nintendo switch lookalike. The problem is most games on the Google play store sucks. While there are tons of great games on the Nintendo eShop.

If you have read some of my other blog posts, you'll know I've been talking about the lack of good games on the Google play store that supports the game controller. You'll have to comments on their game page just to request controller support. Which is kinda stupid. Especially, in this day and age.

When the first iPhone came out, everyone was talking about gaming with a touch screen. Since then, most gamers been asking for controller support. The rest is history. But, most dev doesn't seem to learn from history. Gamers like to play FPS and RPG with a controller. God damn it!

I guess people will just stick to gaming on an Xbox or a Nintendo console. Phone companies like Samsung, Hua Wei or even Apple have to see which direction their products should go.

The mobile phone can be an all-in-one device. It's in a way, already is. But, the gaming department isn't on par with the gaming industries right now. The only way, you'll find out if they are there is by looking forward to my blog post.

I was looking for a portable power bank charger for my Samsung Note 10+ when I come across the Kedron 24000 mAh wireless charging. It actually intrigued me. Wireless charging power bank? Will it charge fast? Will it work like the Samsung wireless 2.0 Fast charge pad?

The answer to those questions is nope. To all of them. It doesn't charge fast enough but my advice is don't wait until your phone is way down to 10%. I read somewhere that if you charge your phone when it's at 40% and stop at 80% it will prolong your phone battery.

If you start to charge the phone when it's at 40% it will seem to charge faster to full. I normally try to stop charging my phone when it's 90%. This power bank will be useful for me to charge my phone when I'm away from an outlet. And, I can just pop on top of it to start charging.

Have I told you about it's Lcd screen that shows you how many % the power bank left with? Whenever you charge the power bank or your phone, you'll see the screen shows either 'In' or 'Out'. Pretty useful info. Of course, you can also see how long it will take to charge your phone from your phone screen.

Gaming on a Samsung Note 10+ is super fantastic. I'm not sure why but holding the phone to play games compared to my old S10+ is a little different. Maybe, because the Note 10+ is a little square on the edges. So, holding it is pretty solid. It's also heavier, probably because of the bigger battery size.

I've tried a couple of games and now I'm trying out the new King of Fighters All-Star. This new game is way cool. I haven't check if you could play with a controller. But, the touch screen needs a little getting used to. I prefer a real controller when playing mobile games.

Besides that, it plays smooth. As it's touch control, I'm always having to look at the bottom right corner of the phone. Just in case, my thumb is pressing at the wrong place. That's the problem with touch control. Sometimes, you're into the game and didn't realize that you're not pressing the correct buttons.

You should really download the game and try it out for yourself. All the characters you ever loved is in it. The graphics are awesome and crisps. If you play the story mode, you'll have to be a bit more patience. As they talk a lot. I grew a little impatient and decided to skip it in the end and go straight to the fight.

The few earlier levels are super easy. It'll get harder the more you advance the stages. And, yep. Get ready to pay for upgrades or whatever. I didn't care to read what they offer. Once, I have to pay to play, I'll probably stop playing it and go to other games.

I was playing around with my Samsung Note 10+ when I discovered, Smart pop-up view. It's a very nifty tool. Normally, when you receive notifications, you'll be able to access them by sliding down from the top of the phone. But, with the smart pop-up view, icons of the app will appear and you can quickly open it.

You can open whatever app you receive notifications from. Even while playing games. For example, if you're playing a game and someone WhatsApp you, you can quickly reply without closing the game. You can check your FB, watch youtube videos and more!

This is different from the split-screen multitasking capability. To multitask, you just need to access all your open apps and click the icon to view the split-screen or even pop-up. You can browse the internet and watch youtube at the same time.

What if you combine the split-screen and smart pop-up view? Well, you'll be able to open more apps all at the same time. You can open your FB, WhatsApp, Instagram or whatever and quickly go through them without opening and closing the apps. You can't do that a couple of years back!

The Note 10+ screen is pretty big. So, even when you open all those apps, it doesn't look cramp. It also has 12gb of rams. That could be why you can open up all the apps at once. This phone is pretty powerful. I simply love this phone!

Why I prefer Samsung Note 10 Plus Android than Apple iPhone 11?

I've always liked and used Apple iPhone. But, recently I've decided to switch to Samsung S10+. Yesterday, I've upgraded and got myself the Note 10+ Aura Glow. The phone is beautiful, stable and got the Harman Kardon Citation One smart speaker as a free gift.

But, why did I switch? No, I'm not talking about the Nintendo Switch. I switched to using an android phone, specifically the Samsung Galaxy S is because I can connect it to a portable monitor and turn it into a pc with the Samsung Dex user interface.

All I need is the Dex pad. But, guess what? Since I've upgraded to a Note 10+, now I can connect to any laptop or pc and use my phone as a pc. I don't need a lap dock anymore. Although, you'll actually have to own a laptop or pc in the first place.

Now, I can even easily connect my phone to the pc wirelessly with Microsoft Your Phone companion app. I can do all the usual stuff like WhatsApp, phone message, share photos and much more. This is way cool and part of the reason why I prefer the Note 10+ over the iPhone.

One thing I really hate is the iPhone notch. It's so glaring and in your face. That's why I decided to get the Razer phone and then went on to the S10+. I do like iOS. I just dislike the same design of the iPhone. It's been a couple of years since they change the design.

Samsung though is walking on thin ice. The Linux on Dex team just emailed us yesterday that they're not working on the Linux on Dex beta anymore. In fact, if you've updated your phone to the latest android 10 beta it won't work anymore. Such a waste. I really like playing with Linux on my phone!

Of course, that's also part of the reason why I prefer the Samsung phone. I want Samsung to work on making the phone into an all-in-one mobile computing device. The mobile phone is always with us. We play games, check our emails, take photos and videos on it. We'll also even edit them on the phone. In fact, most of us spend more time on our phones then a pc.

Wouldn't it be cool to return home and just dock it and use it as a computer? You can even control everything in your house with your phone. Yeah, you can already do that now. But, it's not there yet. It's not too common enough. The mobile phone is already powerful enough. In fact, my Note 10+ has 256gb of storage space and 12gb of rams!

The only way Samsung is going to win the mobile phone war is to be unique and different from the iPhone. To offer more than the iPhone doesn't do or have. You can't dock your iPhone to a lapdock or access it on your computer. Okay, you can mirror it. But, not wirelessly like you can with the Note 10+. Samsung also has the Dex pad and Samsung Dex. Which is a great UI!

Finally! Got my very own Samsung Note 10+ Aura Glow. And, it's beautiful. I also got a free gift Harman Kardon Citation One Smart speaker. I'm actually setting it up right now with the Google Home app. Because I got this speaker, I decided to give away my Google Home Mini to my sis.

Well, I've finished setting up the Harmon Kardon citation one speaker and now listening to some 80s music oldies. Easy setup. Especially, since I already set up my voice on the home mini. It recognizes my voice and understands my command.

I don't have a good hearing, having a problem listening to my left ear. But, I can hear the bass really loud. The sound isn't that bad. I think you can Bluetooth your music so that you can hear it on the speaker (*update: yup. you can I just tried. it works!). I don't feel the need to as Spotify plays most of my favorite tunes.

Besides playing your favorite music, you can also ask it questions like what's the time, how's the weather or what day it is. It's really fun having a smart speaker that also answers your every whim. Buy two of this and you can set it up to the stereo sound. Cool!

I haven't dabbled on my Note 10+ yet. Been busy transferring data and setting it up from my S10+. Gonna sell it. I'll miss it as it's a great phone. Great for gaming and everyday usage. Been taking lots of food pictures and posting them on my Instagram. lol.

I also bought a Samsung dex pad and installed Linux on dex. Which by the way will no longer be supported. That's a bummer. The only reason I decided to ditch the iPhone is because of what the latest Samsung phone can do. Now, they stop that ability?

The good thing is that there's still Samsung dex. And, now they have worked with Microsoft so that we can access our phone with Microsoft Your Phone companion app. The only reason I bought the Note 10+ is that I'll be able to use Samsung dex on my laptop and pc. Way cool!

Definitely, one of the best android phone I've ever owned. Love the Aura glow design. And, it doesn't have the Apple stupid notch. I'll be testing more stuff on this phone. A mini-computer in the palm of your hand. It's also great for gaming too.

I'm looking for a nice coloring app. Since now I can use the S pen, I'll enjoy more instead of using my finger. It's also fun writing on the touch screen. Frankly, this is the first time I ever bought a Samsung note. So, there's a lot to catch up on.
