Gamescom 2020 is here and there are a lot of games coming soon. But, you know what? As a Nintendo Switch lite owner, I'm more interested to know if any of the games that will be available for it. If not, I wouldn't care.

That's basically, what I feel about the games available today. I have stop playing mobile games, because, if you have been reading my blog, you'll know how I feel about them. I haven't even touched my Xbox one S for a couple of months now.

Every night, before I sleep, I'll play some games and watch youtube before I sleep. It's been almost 3 years and the games catalog is growing at a rapid pace. The switch lite is a haven for cheap indie games. There are also a list of popular pc/console games available.

Definitely, Nintendo Switch/switch lite owner are having it good. To think, I wasn't really impressed when Nintendo first announce their latest product. And, most people didn't think too. I mean, a gaming console that can be played in handheld mode and also be docked to the Tv?

Nonetheless, I was intrigued. And, my nephew has been thinking about it too. Especially, when news of Skyrim and FIFA18 coming to the Switch. That's the reason when I finally decide to get it. The thought of being able to play both of the games on the go is simply irresistible!

It took a while for the game catalog to grow. With feedback, now there are more games than you can count. It's like being in a candy store. I certainly feel that way. Recently, I bought a 512GB MicroSD card. And now, I'm left with just 100GB of storage space.

My dream is to get a 2TB MicroSD card. If it even exists. Well, you never know with technology. Also, there's news about a new 'upgraded' version of the Nintendo Switch. Maybe, they'll increase from 32GB internal storage. Just like the Xbox or Playstation.

I'm not saying, the Nintendo Switch will be my only gaming console. I'm into tech, so, I'm also interested about the latest X series and PS5. I'll want to check out how good the console is. Especially, the graphics. There are already many games line up for both of these consoles.

I haven't watched the whole of the Gamescom Live stream yet. Just taking note of some of the games that's coming soon. One thing for sure, pandemic or no pandemic the games are coming. The gaming industry is still going strong.

That's kinda good I guess. In bad times, you know some industries are going to get hit hard and some even prosper. I think those that take advantage of the situations and make it better for themselves will survive in the long run.

Gaming has actually kept me sane and positive all this while. Stay tuned for Gamescom update if I found anything interesting or new to talk about. Especially, anything to do with the Nintendo Switch. You can also watch the live stream above.

Everyone knows or heard about the popular World of Tanks game. They're basically everywhere. But, guess what? I've never played them before. Until it arrives on the Nintendo switch. Short story, I immediately log on to eShop and download the free-to-play game.

Partly, because I've never played the game that I was a bit excited when I read the news on my switch lite. One of the fun things about the Nintendo Switch is the news section. I like reading about the latest updates, new games, and deals. Cool!

The tank games on the Nintendo Switch aren't anything new. I'm pretty much a newbie to the game but it's not anything hard to play either. It's pretty fun playing against other tanks and you'll have to be careful when fighting against a stronger tank opponent.

Every time, you go to battle, you will gain experience and some money to upgrade your tanks. You can choose several tanks. There's the lite, the mid, and the stronger armored. If I'm not wrong, there's a tank destroyer too. For me, the mid is the best although, I prefer to attack from far.



Nintendo Switch Lite - Gray

I haven't played the WOTB mobile or WOTB pc (main site) version. But, I would say playing on a handheld mode is super fun. Of course, the PC version would have better graphics and sound effects. But, being able to play the game on the go is definitely a plus.

Unlike, the mobile version. The switch lite already has physical control. You will still need wifi to play on a switch lite. Isn't it the same on the mobile? Of course, the switch as a handheld console means, you're not stuck to your desktop.

Well, one thing for sure. More free-to-play games are coming to the Nintendo Switch. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. The good is that it's free to play. The one thing I hate is that it's not a fully complete game. You have to pay for upgrades or items.

For the life of me, I have never and will probably ever paid for anything in a free-to-play game. They are actually tempting nice items or upgrades but I'm not paying for anything that's not tangible. I don't care if I kept losing to stronger opponents who are willing to come out with the dough.



World of Tanks Commander's Guide: Improve Your Game, From Beginner to Expert

The other day, some kid comment about the way I play in a free-to-play game. I forgot if it's the PUBG or Fortnite video. But, some of my viewers don't realize is that I'm just doing demo gameplay. And, I have only actually played the game a few times.

Also, it's not easy playing from behind an iPad. FFS. I'm not saying, I'll play like a pro but obviously, I can get better if I play the game every day like some of these young gamers. I'm saying young gamer because old gamer like me has been gaming since before they're born!

World of Tanks: Citadel

I know how they think because my nephews who I have taught to play games since they were 7. They can easily beat me in today's game. And, they forget who their 'master' is. The young will always think they're better than the old ones. They forget, they'll get old one day too.

In any case, gaming is supposed to be fun. No matter if you win or lose. Unless you're playing it for money of course. Anyway, if you've been waiting for the World of Tanks to be available on the Switch, you can download them on eShop. Enjoy!

Finally, my iPad/mobile phone tripod stand setup is complete!

I've been wanting to get a tripod for a long while but never actually get to it. So, after I got it the other day, that comes with a mobile phone holder. I also got myself the iPad mount bracket holder.

There are several types available, but I thought the 'X' version would be more secure. The good thing is that it can also be used with other similar size tablets. Mine can't fit the latest iPad 12.9 though.

I can't wait to test out new camera angles and ideas I've been wanting to try. I'm not sure why I wait this long to get a tripod with the iPad or mobile phone mount brackets.

I already have around 500+ videos and some time, I don't really care for views as I can't earn with google ads. It's to the point of becoming an enthusiast hobby.

I've been checking out some sling bag and I found one from Armaggeddon. Well, I was actually looking for a gaming keyboard case or bag. This sling bag has a compartment for them. Also, the inside is big enough for my Razer headset. Which does take a lot of space?

I really like the design of the bag. There are two pockets in front for some loose items. I can actually fit in my Nintendo Switch lite with the case into the bottom pocket. Will be pretty useful for fast access to my Switch lite.

If you're the type who brings along your own gaming keyboard to friend place for multi-player session, there's a compartment for it at the back. Pretty large for a normal size gaming keyboard. Although, nowadays, with the 61% gaming keyboard available. Which is much lighter and portable.

In the video, I actually tried putting in my Razer headset, 61% gaming keyboard, my switch lite and they all fit nicely in the main compartment. The back compartment could be used for my tripod if ever I'm bringing it along.

I forgot to try putting in my external controller for the switch. It'll fit too. But, I need to organize everything. Once, you have the system, they'll all fit nicely inside your bag. This is a cross sling backpack. So, it'll look a little bulky.

For me, if you're going to be bringing along and carrying much stuff, get a gaming backpack. A cross sling bag is normally for light items. If I'm just going out with family, I'll probably just bring along my Nintendo Switch lite and other loose items on my other smaller cross sling bag.

My Razer headset can normally fit in a cross sling bag. But, together with my Switch lite case, it'll be a tight fit. I'm actually surprised by how big the Razer headset is. So big, I'll prefer just bringing along my earpiece. But, I don't really like them because it hurts my ear-lobes when long usage.

I prefer my over-ears Razer headset which is much more comfortable. If I'm going for a long drive or holiday, I'll prefer my Razer headset than an earpiece. Yeah, first-world problem. That's why the Armaggeddon big space bag is pretty useful.

One thing for sure, if you want to get a bag, get one that you know will be either big enough for all your gaming accessories or another bag when you only need a few items to bring along. I'm actually waiting for another crossbody sling tactical bag that I ordered.
