RK ROYAL KLUDGE 60% RK61 RGB MECHANICAL KEYBOARD

RK ROYAL KLUDGE RK61 Wireless 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Ultra-Compact Bluetooth Mechanical Keyboard with 10 Hours Battery Life and Tactile Brown Switches, Compatible for Multi-Device Connection

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Finally! Got me a 60% mechanical gaming keyboard. And, this version by RK Royal Kludge, RK61 RGB mechanical keyboard is awesome. I was pretty excited waiting for it to arrive and it couldn't have arrived sooner!

Currently, my main favorite keyboard is still Razer Blackwidow X Chroma Tournament Edition. Which I'm typing on right now. The second will be this RK61. I really love the compactness, portability albeit a little bit of weight. I'll be using this mainly with my Nintendo Switch lite.

I had no problem wirelessly connecting to my gaming pc via Bluetooth or when using the provided USB C cable. But, I can't seem to connect it to my Samsung Note 10+. It can be paired but it won't connect. You're supposed to be able to connect to three devices at the same time.

I'll have to try it out again. If you want to connect via Bluetooth, you need to 'ON' the switch below the keyboard and press FN+Q/W/E. I guess I might be doing it wrong. It's not really important to me as I've said, I'm mainly going to use it with my switch lite.

I had problem connecting to both my Samsung phone and Switch lite at first. I couldn't use Bluetooth to connect to my phone and you definitely can't with the switch lite. So, I tried using the cable. And, it didn't work either. I check it out and you'll have to switch 'Off' the Bluetooth via the switch below the keyboard.

I was getting frustrated. Especially, when it didn't work with my Switch lite. Thought, I've wasted my money. But then, after a while, it finally works on my phone. It's either after I've off the Bluetooth long enough or I've charged it. My persistence finally paid off. Boy, was I happy!

I quickly connect the USB C cable to my switch lite and yes, it works. With all the keys lighted. Unlike, the Razer RGB keyboard which has software that you can individually activate the color, you can't with the RK61. But, I'm not complaining. I finally find one I like.

You can choose several lighting effects by pressing FN+ (Symbol). There are several symbols near the right side of the keyboard that when pressing with the FN dedicated key it will take effect. There are the usual standard Blue, Red, White, or Green colors.

You can try out some LED lighting fancy show like the wave or the glow. I find it fun going through them. Watch the demo on my youtube channel. One thing is that I'll have to get used to the size and the key shortcuts. Especially, when typing codes on my Switch lite.

If you're wondering, the No.1 reason I'm buying this for my Switch lite is because of the size. A gaming mechanical keyboard at that. I'm really fascinated by it. When I got my Razer keyboard, I thought, I'll miss the number keypad as I've been using them regularly. After a while, I got used to it.

This is much smaller than the Razer keyboard. Probably by 20%. Being a mechanical keyboard, typing on this is even better than the usual chiclet flat design. I'll rather type on this than on my laptop or Alcatroz Explorer Go. Not, saying I won't use them. Just something different.

Of course, there are other brands too. For now, I'll be using RK61 60% mechanical keyboard. Get it via the link below!

This keyboard can be used for work and for play. It also offers portability. Would be a great companion for tablet or phone. Might be a little bulky and a tad heavier but hey, we're keyboard warriors. If you want the best, get the best!
