So, my new gold color 2 finger mountain bike brake lever finally arrived today. I haven't changed it yet as I'm waiting for my new colorful bike handlebar and stem. I also ordered a new bike seat with a bear design. Kinda cool.

I've been changing my bike parts since the day I bought my new folding mountain bike. I'm not sure why. Maybe, I'm bored or I like the feeling of doing the works on it. I know people are looking at my bike. One guy though only commented on my Redbull Aero bike helmet.

When I make a youtube video of my new mountain bike, some commented that it's cheap and even say I should just walk. Yes, it's actually cheap. I even got it on an offer price. I'm not a pro rider and bought a bicycle so that I can cycle to work.

Another reason is that I can save money on my travel fare and also try sliming my body or rather my tummy. I have already lost around 5kg and reached my target of getting down below 70kg. I'm feeling ecstatic when I see my weight going down.

Frankly, I haven't ridden a bike for a long time. I had a pink mountain bike once. But, I gave it away. I stop using it after I finished school. I used to visit my schoolmate and train TKD aka tae kwon do at a basketball court near his house at night.

I should have kept it. But, I lost interest. Now, it's all coming back again. The good thing is that I'm using it every day now to ride to and fro to work and home. I'm also enjoying buying and changing the bike parts and fixing them myself.

I thought it would be easy but, luckily I had bought all-in-one bike tools which are pretty handy. I also look up some bike videos to see how to for example change the bike grip. Now, that I know how to take it off, I can change it later.

Right now, as I've said, I'm waiting for my new handlebar, bike stem, bike grips, and new seat. I can't wait for them to arrive and starts fitting them. For some reason, I enjoy sitting outside my apartment and working on my bike. The past few weeks, I've been busy changing and fitting new parts.

Hopefully, all the bike parts that I ordered will arrive by this week. If not, they'll probably arrive next week or a rather next year. I guess it's a nice way to end the year with a new hobby and a new slimmer tummy. Since I've bought an exercise bench and weights, I'm achieving my goals.

Next year, I might start cycling a little further than my workplace and go to interesting places. I still have my Nikon P950 83x optical zoom camera and I haven't been using it for a while. That reminds me, I need to check the battery level.

The weather nowadays is kinda bad and weird. Around my area, it'll be cloudy all day and a bit of sunshine. Sometimes, it'll drizzle for a bit, and then it stops. When the sun is out, and you're out all day, your skin will feel the burns.

I only started to wear arm sleeves over two years ago. Because of the pandemic, I also started to wear multifunctional headwear to cover my face. I don't want to look like a zebra with stripes all over my body. So wearing these protections also helps.

At first, I only wear arm sleeves to protect me from the sun's heat, but when I started to look around for designs, I realized they also have UV protection. Which is of course much better. You don't want to end up with skin cancer or whatever.

I like the colors and many designs available nowadays. They used to be dull and plain. With the many designs, you can even mix and match with what you're wearing. There's even a temporary tattoo design for those who like tattoos but don't want anything permanent.

At the moment, I'm mostly wearing it for work. Since I'm cycling to work and home, I'm also wearing it to and fro. It does help to protect me from the burning sun rays and UV protection. My back hands' skin tone is already darker than the rest of my arms.

I bought arm sleeves that also have gloves. The problem with wearing this design is you'll have to keep taking it off to wash your hands or face. I end up using the original design more and wearing gloves instead. I only wear it once in a while.

I like buying a bundle of arm sleeves and multifunctional headwear. They came as a pair and the same colors and design. It'll be great for work when you need to wear both of them. If you're wearing a work uniform, it'll blend in like a part of the uniform.

All of the ones that I bought are presumably made in silk. As it felt like them. They're smooth although a little harder to breathe. I was given a cotton type by a co-worker and it's really itchy when I sweat. For my skin, I prefer to cool with UV protection.

Personally, I think with climate change, people should start wearing arm sleeves and even multifunctional wear to protect themselves. When it rains, it actually cools my arms too. So, I like wearing them even when it's raining.

I didn't wear gloves to protect my hands and like I've said, the back of my hands is much darker than my arms. Wishing, it'll return to normal soon. In fact, I could even see part of my arms turning red before I started wearing arm sleeves. The heat nowadays is pretty scary. So protect yourself!

Well, I think, I'm done pimping my folding mountain bike for the year 2021. The handlebar grips cap end basically caps it for me. Pun intended. Since I bought my bike, I've been checking out accessories and changed it myself. It's kinda fun.

The first thing I changed was the bike pedal. I bought the aluminum alloy colorful design and it looks really nice. The size is a bit smaller than my original but, I got used to it. I still keep my original just in case as it's still a couple of weeks old.

Next, I got myself bicycle handlebar grips with ends. I found out later that it's kinda hard to take off the original grip and anyway, I like it better than the one I bought. But, I like the ends, so I just changed it to a red color. It fits nicely with my Aero design Redbull theme bike helmet. 

I really like my bike helmet that also comes with a visor. It helps block the sun's rays. Especially in the evening when I ride home from work. I decided to get the mudguard for my front and rear tire and found one with an interesting art design.

I also bought a fork guard for my mountain bike. There are a few comments on my youtube video about it that I find interesting. Some say it's nice, there are ones that said I'm doing it wrong or even unnecessary. Frankly, I do it just for fun. 

In fact, someone even suggested that I'm better off walking than buying my 'cheap' mountain bike. I mean, really. I love my bike and to me, it's not actually that cheap. I paid almost $200 bucks for it. Yes, it's not like other expensive bikes but I'm not a professional so why should I buy them?

Getting this bike actually makes me love cycling, again. It's not like it's my first bike. I've owned a mountain bike before when I was younger but I gave it away after I stop using it. I used to cycle to my school mates area to train TKD aka Tae Kwon Do with him.

I'm also into cycling now because it can help me lose weight. That's one of the reasons I wanted to start cycling again. Since I have bad knees and slipped discs, low-impact cycling won't be too hard on them. I don't want to make it worse for myself.

I'm still thinking of getting some parts of my bicycle changed. But, for now, it'll do. Like I've said, I'm really having fun cycling again like never before. I'm already thinking of not just cycling to and fro to work and home but going to interesting places.

I already bought a 40KG dumbbell adjustable set that you can also turn into a barbell. But, after I set my barbell, I find it kind of a hassle to change it back to be used as a dumbbell. So, I decided to get another 20kg dumbbell set instead.

If you have been reading my blog, I've also bought myself a folding exercise bench. I'm really loving it. I bought one that also includes the ability to train up my legs. There's also a pad that I can use for my biceps. That's why I bought the extra dumbbell.

I can use the barbell set for my chest, biceps, shoulders, triceps, backs and quickly go to my barbell if I want to mix it up to do other parts of my body. The weights that are set on my barbell are also different than on my dumbbell too.

The extra weights can also be used to add up when I'm progressing. Again, I don't want to be big. I just want to be fit and importantly get my six-packs back. I'm also slowly remembering back all that I have learned when I do weights at my school gym with my schoolmates decades ago.

Me and my schoolmates, I used to train together almost every night at the school gym. We even created our own schedules to work on specific parts of our bodies. We love to read bodybuilding magazines, read up on diets and training by world body-building champs.

One of our physical instructors told us that since we don't have the money to buy expensive vitamins, we should just eat whatever we can or have to beef up. And, we actually did beef up. Okay, we weren't big but our body did improve.

We did all the basic exercises and more. I was also training my chin-ups and was really happy that I can now do standard chin-up without any support. One day, I feel strong and told my friend to let go of my legs and I managed to do more than 10 without any problem.

Training at the school gym helped prepare me for my military service. I was already strong but running was my weakness as I have short breaths. Yeah, it really brings back memories all those years ago. That's why, even though I'm older now, I feel it's time to train up again.

Well, I finally got my own folding exercise bench. And, I specifically bought one that also includes leg training. I don't really want big muscles. I just want to stay fit and at least have my six-packs back. Like when I used to have back then.

When I was in technical school, I used to go to the gym with my schoolmates. We'll come back to school at night to use the gym. The gym isn't officially open. My mate kinda got permission for us to use it. We even use a stick to open up the door. Lol.

One day, one of the school physical trainers heard us and check the gym. Luckily, he recognizes us and actually supports that we wanted to train up. Only that, to make sure we clean up the place after using it. A few months later, he even complimented that I have improved my physique.

Personally, I was actually training to prep for my military national service. One of the things that I have improved was my chin-up. I could only do 1 or 3. But after a few months, I could finally pass the basic 12 chin-up test. I was so ecstatic that day.

One thing, I didn't really train up was my running. But, I also have short breaths. And, I only learn or realized recently that my nose was broken. I always had breathing problems and my broken nose had actually blocked my breathing.

I still have a problem with my nose and it also causes my left ear to be blocked. This means I can only hear in my right ear. Oh, I also have a slipped disc and both bad knees. One of the reasons why I'm not interested in getting big.

Of course, I'm not getting any younger too. One good thing is nowadays I cycle to and fro from home to work. I save some travel fare money and also get a good sweaty workout. In fact, I've been steadily losing weight from around 75 to 71.3 kg.

My target is simple. To get below 70kg and maybe maintain my last good weight of 63-65kg. Also, to get back my six-packs. Sometimes, I like seeing older gents that are slim and still look healthy. When you ask about their age, they're actually already in their mid-70s.

I'm loving cycling especially when I'm actually starting to lose weight. Although, I need to do more than a total of 20 mins of cycling every day. My workplace isn't that far. Another reason I decided to cycle is because of my bad knees and cycling is light-impact.

I do feel pain in my left knee when starting. I've never gone to check it up. It's not the bone or I won't be able to walk. I do have trouble when going down the stairs. Doing weights and cycling is my plan for an all-around, well-being fitness regime.

Finally! Got a new dumbbell with an adjustable barbell set. I've been wanting to get them for a long time. It's only recently that I started to exercise again. Mainly, because I wanted to get rid of my big tummy. I yearn for the days when I had a six-pack. Lol!

After finishing my national duty in the military and being a civilian, I didn't really do much training anymore. I also had a slipped disc and was advised not to do any standard sit-ups. That's probably when my stomach started to get bigger and bigger.

Isn't it kinda weird that you don't notice how your tummy slowly gets all bloated throughout the years? Everyone, been talking about how big my stomach is and so, after my recent birthday, I decided to start exercising again. But, I still had to be careful.

I had to start slow because of my back and knees problem. I'm also getting older and sometimes you forget you're not 20 something in the military doing all that running and jumping. I also used to train in the gym but I find that mental toughness missing.

I also got myself a new job and what's great is that it's near my house. I've always wanted to get a job near my area so that I can cycle to work. Cycling is also a great way to train your fitness and even lose weight. I actually already lost some weight and I felt so excited.

Now, I'm using my new folding mountain bike that's more powerful and faster than my other first foldable bike. Okay, that's my personal opinion after using both of them to and fro to work. Even my colleague said that the mountain bike is much more suitable for me.

Cycling is a low-impact exercise and is great for my bad knees. Although, I can still feel pain in my left knee when cycling. I'm starting to love cycling and when I reach home, now I can train with my new dumbbell set too. Yesterday, I tried them out and it sure feels great to do weights again.

I like the kettle design and I've never used it before until yesterday. Great for my front shoulders. You can also use it for your stomachs. One thing though is that, I think, I need to buy another set so that I can use the dumbbells as I'm already setting it like a barbell.

I'm not really aiming to get big muscles. Just an athletic fitness body with a nice 6 packs. I'll have to be careful when doing all these exercises as like I've said, I have a slipped disc and bad knees. I don't want to end up in pain in the hospital again.

I decided to get myself a folding mountain bike because my current folding bike, for some reason isn't suitable for me. From the start, I had a problem with it. Granted, I haven't ridden a bike for decades. But, I slowly got my own rhythm.

I had a problem with the gears while riding and keep changing until even the chain came off. Thank goodness, it's pretty easy to put it back and I still arrived to work in time. I also had a problem with the tires. But, once, I bought a tire pump, from then on, the ride gets easier and faster.

Frankly, I always thought that a mountain bike is much better for me. I used to have one but I gave it away to my cousin's husband a long time ago. I wanted a bike because recently, I got a job near my house. I wanted to save traveling costs and also try to get my fitness again. 

If you have been reading a few of my earlier posts, I've been wanting to get my six-packs back. I'm tired of everyone joking about my big tummy. I also thought it's time to get back some kind of fitness for myself. I don't want to be old and fat.

Finally, I got my Shimano bike gear folding mountain bike and I'm really loving it. From the first test ride to using it to and fro to work, it really felt like home. The gear shift works pretty well and I actually arrive at work much faster with less energy or rather sweats.

The thing is, the folding bike that I've been using has actually helped me lose around 1kg. I used to weigh around 74.7 kg. Yesterday, it was 73.4kg. Not much, but it shows that cycling to work, it does help me lose weight. Albeit, slowly.

I'm pretty happy when I see that I'd lose a bit of weight. That means, my bike investment has paid off. My target is to get my weight down below 70kg. I used to weigh around 63-65kg before I stop doing any kind of exercise because of my back slip disc.

The most important thing for me is to get the old six-packs that I worked so hard for in my school gym almost 29 years ago. Yup, a pretty long time ago. I was also preparing physically before joining the military. That's why even though at my age now, I wish to at least stay lean and fit again.

Another thing about cycling is the low impact on the knees. I have both bad knees. My right knee is starting to act up. Although, my left is much worse. I bought a knee brace the other day and tried it today to work. It actually helps support my knees when cycling and working.

I thought it'll be too tight and uncomfortable. But, I actually forget that I was wearing it. I only bought the knee brace for my left knee. Since it helps, I plan to get for my right. I've already started recommending to my friend and sis if they'll be interested.

Well, I'm really glad that I bought the folding mountain bike. Although, I have bad comments about it on my youtube video. Who cares bout the haters. The most important thing is that I'm benefitting from the bike and I'm really enjoying my ride. Loving it!

I've bought the original Nintendo Switch in the early days, sold it, and got myself the Nintendo Switch lite. Personally, I prefer the Lite because it's much smaller and portable than the big brother. But, I wish, I'll be able to dock to and play on my big screen Tv.

I have a youtube channel and lots of guys complain in the comment section about the screen being too small to play some of their favorite games. So, I think, Nintendo should make a Switch lite that can also dock. I'm pretty sure, a lot of Nintendo gamers would appreciate that.

Another big complaint is of course the small storage size. I mean, the Nintendo game version today even if it's free-to-play is pretty big. Up to 30-60GB and even more. I've bought the 256GB and finally upgrade it to a 512GB MicroSD card.

I'm already left with 100GB of storage because I kept buying and downloading more games. The special prize is pretty enticing. Especially, now with old popular PC games available for the Nintendo Switch. I don't care if I already have it on Steam, I want it for my Switch too!

I'm thinking of maybe one day trying the 1TB MicroSD card on my Nintendo Switch. Hopefully, there'll be a 2TB or even higher version that can be used for gaming on the Switch. Some people might ask what the hell for (someone actually asked me on the comment section before)?

Well, I'm the type of person who likes to buy and download games on my Nintendo Switch. I like the feeling of having all the games to play on the go whenever I want. I do sometimes, get the physical version too. But, nowadays, most of them are digital downloads from Nintendo online stores.

Another question that I always received in my comment section about the card is why it doesn't show the 512GB advertised storage size. It's an old technical story and you can read about it on Google. Just do a quick search. Although, I've also read that now there is a card that shows the exact size.

Unless the manufacturer does something about it, you'll find when you check the card available left is a little less than 512GB. I think mine is shown to have 475GB. I also think most of them that asked me about this are kids that didn't know or bother to read about the history of the MicroSD card.

Another important thing to note is the read and write speed. I basically tried my luck when I got myself the 512GB microSD card. I got the fastest and the best affordable price. The standard read is 100mb/s and the write is 90mb/s. Class 10 with 4K ability.

There are some cards that claim up to 160mb/s read. Personally, I didn't find any kind of lag or stutters when I played games stored on my MicroSD card. Everything seems to be running smoothly and don't have any kind of weird problem like some others complain.

My advice if you have any kind of problem with the card is to test with other devices. If it works on other devices, probably need to reformat it on your PC. If not, it's probably a bad card. Return or exchange for a new one. Be careful of fake cheap cards!
