I've been wanting to get a mobile phone tripod for a long time and finally, got one. I decided to get one from YUNTENG. I like the design ability to move your camera horizontally and vertically with the handle. Pretty nifty.

I also like how sturdy and strong the stand is. Easily, adjustable to any height. It's maximum is only up to 125cm or around 4ft plus. If you shift your phone a bit higher, you can achieve a little higher height. That's if you're taking pictures or videos vertically.

I mostly take videos for my youtube channel with my iPad. So, I'll need to buy an iPad clamp. I can't seem to find one. The tripod stands only come with a mobile clamp holder. I tried folding my iPad case and clamp it to the tripod and it seems workable.

Temporarily, I'll have to use it this way. I prefer taking videos from the iPad because I like using iMovie to edit and upload my videos. The only video editing app that I like on android is Quik. The reason being 1. It's free 2. Doesn't have stupid watermarks and 3. Easy to edit.

There are other brands too. But, they're actually the same. Although, I'll prefer the same design. For me, the important part is the legs. How strong and sturdy it is. Especially, if you're also thinking of using it as a camera or camcorder stand.

The height is also important. That depends on your preferences or planning. If you normally want to take videos from the above view or selfies (if you're tall). For me, the 125cm would be just nice. Anyway, I can always put it on top of something if I want to take from a higher view.

I don't really travel much but this will definitely be useful when taking selfies or videos of scenery or whatever. It'll be more steady and my hands won't be tired from holding the phone for too long. I'm definitely using it more at home for my unboxing or gameplay videos.

I actually, can't wait to try it out. I'm more interested in testing out several video angles and heights. So, it will be more interesting. Do check out my youtube channel and you might actually see some difference in how I take videos from now on.
