A week ago, I saw a watch with a transparent or clear band. I thought it looks nice and also it's dirt cheap. Not that I need a new watch but, I've never had a clear band watch and recently, I'm into transparent housing shell for electronic devices.
It all started with the Zero Cool, clear casing laptop he got as a gift in the movie Hackers. I thought that was really cool and wanted it. But, nobody is making or selling. Maybe, it's not practical in real life. With the tech we have today, why not?

I hope, one day, there'll be someone, probably in China that'll make a cool laptop with a clear housing shell. Yo guys, if you're reading this. Make me a transparent case 7-inch gaming laptop. That will totally be out of this world!
The $5 watch that I bought is actually from China. I bought three. One for my mom and sis. Well, I'm not sure if my sis really wants it. My mom was the one that chooses the purple and blackface color. I chose the white color cause it looks nice.

The watch design actually looks like the G-shock retro, version. It's kinda funny because I use to hate the G-shock watch. Well, not hate them but curious why many like them. I thought, they look cheap and the design not really that cool.
It's only recently that I'm into them. I've already had a couple and probably will add more to my collections. I have always loved looking at the beautiful watch design. Sometimes, I wish, I was rich cause some of the watches that I like are really expensive.

Most watches now are getting smarter. With all the health reading capabilities. One thing though, I hope the good old simple watch won't go away. Not everyone is into the smartwatch. Some, just like a normal watch or a normal phone that just, works!
That's probably why I bought the cheap $5 made in China watch. As long as it looks cool and it tells the time. I'm happy with that. It's also great for everyday wear. Kids can wear it to school and adults can even wear it for work.
G-Shock Rangeman GW-9400
My most favorite watch though is the G-Shock Rangeman. If they had sold this when I was in the military, I would have bought it. Even though, my pay was low. The watch would have gone through a lot with me. Through all that tough time.
It's been a few years now and the watch is still functioning fine. It looks a little jaded but that's how good the G-shock watch is. Watch that last. That's why it'll always be my most favorite G-Shock watch collection. Now, if only I have $10K to buy that special edition.
