A week ago, I saw a watch with a transparent or clear band. I thought it looks nice and also it's dirt cheap. Not that I need a new watch but, I've never had a clear band watch and recently, I'm into transparent housing shell for electronic devices.

It all started with the Zero Cool, clear casing laptop he got as a gift in the movie Hackers. I thought that was really cool and wanted it. But, nobody is making or selling. Maybe, it's not practical in real life. With the tech we have today, why not?

I hope, one day, there'll be someone, probably in China that'll make a cool laptop with a clear housing shell. Yo guys, if you're reading this. Make me a transparent case 7-inch gaming laptop. That will totally be out of this world!

The $5 watch that I bought is actually from China. I bought three. One for my mom and sis. Well, I'm not sure if my sis really wants it. My mom was the one that chooses the purple and blackface color. I chose the white color cause it looks nice.

The watch design actually looks like the G-shock retro, version. It's kinda funny because I use to hate the G-shock watch. Well, not hate them but curious why many like them. I thought, they look cheap and the design not really that cool.

It's only recently that I'm into them. I've already had a couple and probably will add more to my collections. I have always loved looking at the beautiful watch design. Sometimes, I wish, I was rich cause some of the watches that I like are really expensive.

Most watches now are getting smarter. With all the health reading capabilities. One thing though, I hope the good old simple watch won't go away. Not everyone is into the smartwatch. Some, just like a normal watch or a normal phone that just, works!

That's probably why I bought the cheap $5 made in China watch. As long as it looks cool and it tells the time. I'm happy with that. It's also great for everyday wear. Kids can wear it to school and adults can even wear it for work.



G-Shock Rangeman GW-9400

My most favorite watch though is the G-Shock Rangeman. If they had sold this when I was in the military, I would have bought it. Even though, my pay was low. The watch would have gone through a lot with me. Through all that tough time.

It's been a few years now and the watch is still functioning fine. It looks a little jaded but that's how good the G-shock watch is. Watch that last. That's why it'll always be my most favorite G-Shock watch collection. Now, if only I have $10K to buy that special edition.

In the beginning, not many realized how serious the virus is. And, some, especially the young don't even care if the virus spreads and killing the older generations. People were going to beaches, pubs, clubs, concerts, and parties. Inadvertently, spreading the virus to others.

Thousands are already infected and dead before, mayors and the governor and even the president of the U.S. denying the virus saying it's a hoax contorted by the democrat's party. The governor of New York City, California, and other states are now preparing for the worst to come. Makeshifts hospitals have been prepared with ventilators to help projected incoming patients.

They're all learning from the cases in Italy which is the hardest hit followed by Spain and the U.K. Apparently, the prime minister of Britain himself been infected with mild cases and now under quarantine in his home. Asia, of course, has not been spared. South Koreans have managed to control and contained the virus. Everyone saying how the world should follow the Koreans model of stopping it from getting worse. India is only now on lockdown but having too many poor people all wanting to go back home with no money or food. Things could get much worst.

Iran themselves have been denying how bad the Covid-19 has been affecting their country. Even though their own health minister has been infected. And, been spreading it around himself. Singapore and other ASEAN government have started their own stimulus packaged to help cope with the economic downturn. Which, obviously been hurting companies, big or small.

There are those who love conspiracy theories and frankly, I'm keeping an open mind. Some have definitely taken advantage of the coronavirus pandemic by selling off stocks they owned. Even then, no real investigations have been done.

Right now, the only thing people are concentrating on is finding the cure and telling people to stay at home. Which some Italy mayors are having a hard time trying to make the people listen to them. You can see the videos of them even threatening the people that disobey.

One of the silver linings is that the animals are actually coming back to enjoy the relative peace. That once was taken over by humans. Dolphins, birds are all enjoying their freedom. The air pollution has actually been down since people start staying at home. Although, that would only be temporary as the Chinese have started to open up their factories again.

All eyes are now to the U.S. where they're battling to stop the virus from getting worse. It's still early yet and they're all bracing for the worse to come. They have already top China with 100k infected and almost two thousand deaths.

Let just hope the people listen and stay at home so that the health system wouldn't be overwhelmed. It's basically a test to see how the Americans cope with this new disease. We all know, this would not be the first and the last.

If the world can cope with the covid-19, and get out of this virus attack. I hope they would learn to always be prepared for the worst. Mother nature, always know how best to teach the human to respect it. Now, let the animals have their fun and let nature rest even for a while.

I read this interesting article today.

With all the happening in the Middle East, every country with an authoritarian ruler is on the edge.

Maybe, finally the end of all this one-party or one dictator controlling the people?

The people of these countries have long suffers and with the advent of new technology, new social media, maybe the time has come.

I have always thought all this dictators like Saddam, Qaddafi, Kim Jong-il and others like them kinda stupid buffoon. (China, to me have done well in opening up and changing for the better. Can't say much for the kind of authoritarian one party system though)

Why?

They have all the powers in the world to make their country a better place but instead they destroy it. They murdered their own people, plundered wealth, stay in power for too long and all for what?

To be the Top man?

To be 'King'?

To be 'King' of destroyed lands and people?

These kind of people are blinded by power. They have no sense of justice, honor and relevancy.

They live in their own world. In their mind, they are 'a great leader'. Master of themselves, master of their own suffering people.

C'mon. We are living in the new age. New, modern society. Everything is open. Everything, should be transparent. There's wealth for everyone. There's health for everyone. There's enough in the world to share with everyone. Contrary to what these idiots think.

It's not how much wealth or power that define you as a man (as a leader) but what you do with what you have, your dignity, your honor. If a man doesn't respect another man then there's no honor in life. In your life for that matter.

Why hold on to power when you're not going to live forever?

I think they're afraid. If they lose their power and status they're just like the other common man in the street. They're afraid of losing that wealth, that power. But, how long can you live?

Are you going to live forever? Definitely, NO!

So, why hold on to things that won't last?

Why limit your mind to such thinking?

Do you think you're much better then the man beside you?

Nobody is better then anyone else in this world except God.

If you think you're better, there's always someone else better out there.

Ahh ..mankind. They doesn't seem to learn. This world is just a temporary abode.

This world is just a 'testing ground' for you. What would you do with the strength you have in your hands? What would you do with the intelligence that you have learned in life? What would you do for others in their time of needs?

Life is test after test.

It's not how much money you earned in life. How much wealth you accumulate in life. How much power or how high your status is in life?

These people don't realize they have a chance to change for the better as long as they're alive. They can't do zip when they're dead. By then, it would be too late. And, that's when man always realized too late.

So, what would you do or sacrificed for the man beside you?

Think about it.
