HP Pavilion laptop Amd RYZEN 7 4700u 16gb 1TB ssd Radeon graphic unboxing

HP 2021 Pavilion Laptop, 15.6" FHD IPS Display, AMD Ryzen 7 4700U (>i7-10710U), 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Webcam, B&O Audio, WiFi 6, Bluetooth, Backlit Keyboard, Fingerprint, Numeric Keypad, Win 10 Home

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Well, finally the HP laptop that I recommended to my friend to get arrived. And, he actually ordered the 16GB Ram version. He told me he prefers the 8GB Ram and upgrades it later. But, I told him, it's such a hassle to open the bottom case and it might also void the warranty if any shit happens.

I think he also says that he prefers the 14" screen instead of the 15.6 inches. It's the same kind of thinking of trying to scrimp and save. I've been using the HP 15.6 screen size and I feel it's much better for my bad eyesight. Also, you'll get a full keyboard with a number pad.

HP Pavilion 15 Laptop: AMD Ryzen 7 4700U, 512GB SSD, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 15.6" Full HD IPS Display, Windows 10

  • AMD Ryzen 7 4700U Processor (2.0 GHz base clock, up to 4.1 GHz max boost clock, 8 MB L3 cache, 8 cores)
  • 15.6" diagonal, Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS, micro-edge, BrightView Display
  • 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive
  • 16GB DDR4-3200 SDRAM (2x8 GB), AMD Radeon Graphics
  • Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2x2) Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 combo, Windows 10 Home
If your work involved calculations, that number pad will be pretty nifty. One thing is that the laptop version he got doesn't have the fingerprint sensor. Mine has and it's much faster to log in instead of having to type your password.

He will also appreciate the webcam for a video call with his family back at home in India. I like to link my Samsung Note 10+ to my laptop and use WhatsApp for messaging, voice msg/calls, and video calls. Since I'm on my computer all the time, I seldom need to check my phone.

The important thing is that it's within his budget. And, for the price, this is not a bad laptop. Yesterday, I tried transferring pictures and videos from my camera to my laptop and it was pretty smooth. I edited the video and upload it to my youtube channel.

My laptop only has 8GB of ram. It'll be much better with 16GB ram, like my friend's laptop. That's why I insisted that he get the 16GB of ram. Yeah, you might save if you upgrade it later but if you have the dough just pay for it and avoid the hassle later. Unless you're the tinkering type and know what you're doing.

For the moment there, I thought my friend wanted to upgrade the CPU aka the processor. I told him it's an integrated motherboard. It's a laptop, not a desktop. Turn out he was referring to his desktop ram. He wishes to upgrade from 6GB to 8GB ram. Lol.

Just to let you guys know, that not every Indian knows anything about computers. The joke about Indian IT guys is funny but India is pretty big and not everyone has the money to study or even own a computer. My Indian friend works as an electrician but he knows shit about computers.

To be clear, I'm no computer expert myself. I learned through self-learning since the mid-90s. That's when the computer world was booming. I just happened to finish my two years compulsory National Service (NS) in the military and got a job as a civil servant after that.

Lucky for me, I got to learn to use the computer and simply expand my knowledge from there. I even once got a job at an Apple factory. Can't remember which year but I didn't stay long. I was pretty impressed with their system video capabilities back then.

I really miss those fun days. Used to go out with my friends to the computer mall just to look around. That's how we spend our weekend. I haven't been there for a pretty long while since then. I don't even know if the building is still around. Last I heard, they're gonna tear it down to build a damn condo.

Anyway, my friend will pick up his new laptop this weekend. Hope he enjoys it!

CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 2020 Pandemic News Compilations - The Day The Earth Stool Still

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I thought of doing this yesterday night and finally, it's done and uploaded on my youtube channel. A news compilation videos of how and when the virus starts. Also, include what's been happening in hospitals all over the world that has been hit hard.

In the beginning, not many realized how serious the virus is. And, some, especially the young don't even care if the virus spreads and killing the older generations. People were going to beaches, pubs, clubs, concerts, and parties. Inadvertently, spreading the virus to others.

Thousands are already infected and dead before, mayors and the governor and even the president of the U.S. denying the virus saying it's a hoax contorted by the democrat's party. The governor of New York City, California, and other states are now preparing for the worst to come. Makeshifts hospitals have been prepared with ventilators to help projected incoming patients.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Mental Health Guide: Strategies to manage mood effectively in times of Global Distress

They're all learning from the cases in Italy which is the hardest hit followed by Spain and the U.K. Apparently, the prime minister of Britain himself been infected with mild cases and now under quarantine in his home. In the meantime, China has started to open up its countries and calling people back to work. With some wondering, if it's too early.

Asia, of course, has not been spared. South Koreans have managed to control and contained the virus. Everyone saying how the world should follow the Koreans model of stopping it from getting worse. India is only now on lockdown but having too many poor people all wanting to go back home with no money or food. Things could get much worst.

Iran themselves have been denying how bad the Covid-19 has been affecting their country. Even though their own health minister has been infected. And, been spreading it around himself. Singapore and other ASEAN government have started their own stimulus packaged to help cope with the economic downturn. Which, obviously been hurting companies, big or small.

Economics in the Age of COVID-19 (MIT Press First Reads)

There are those who love conspiracy theories and frankly, I'm keeping an open mind. Some have definitely taken advantage of the coronavirus pandemic by selling off stocks they owned. Even then, no real investigations have been done.

Right now, the only thing people are concentrating on is finding the cure and telling people to stay at home. Which some Italy mayors are having a hard time trying to make the people listen to them. You can see the videos of them even threatening the people that disobey.

One of the silver linings is that the animals are actually coming back to enjoy the relative peace. That once was taken over by humans. Dolphins, birds are all enjoying their freedom. The air pollution has actually been down since people start staying at home. Although, that would only be temporary as the Chinese have started to open up their factories again.

All eyes are now to the U.S. where they're battling to stop the virus from getting worse. It's still early yet and they're all bracing for the worse to come. They have already top China with 100k infected and almost two thousand deaths.

Let just hope the people listen and stay at home so that the health system wouldn't be overwhelmed. It's basically a test to see how the Americans cope with this new disease. We all know, this would not be the first and the last.

If the world can cope with the covid-19, and get out of this virus attack. I hope they would learn to always be prepared for the worst. Mother nature, always know how best to teach the human to respect it. Now, let the animals have their fun and let nature rest even for a while.

Five Reasons Why India Can't 'Do a Gaza' on Pakistan

So, I read with interest, point written by Tunku Vara at Forbes.com about why the Indians can't 'do a Gaza on Pakistan'. Everyone seems to be asking him, why not? It seems like a stupid question to me. Everybody knows the Palestine are no match for the Israel army supported by the U.S. The palestinians only have rockets and small firearms. They don't even have an army much less a 'real country'. They're refugees in their own freaking land for that matter.

Pakistan, on the other hand have their own security forces. They, even have their own freaking nuclear!

Pakistan, is definitely more organised then the palestinians. Okay, they aren't really united as a people but that doesn't mean they're totally weak. I think, the terrorist that attack mumbai last year was just a plan to poke india into going to war with Pakistan. Both, of them are fighting for kashmir. We, all know that. There's hand behind all this that wants these countries to go to war. The terrorist would definitely win. I think, the terrorist are trying to get India and Pakistan to go to war so that Pakistan would be too busy playing war with India and forget about Afghanistan. Remember, the Afghans? They're still at war you know!?

So, in this respect they're planning to get the Americans to lose the Pakistan support in the Afghan war. The american are totally lost in afghanistan without the support of the Pakistan. Right, now the American have only a few countries in Afghanistan. The Taliban are slowly gaining support again as Afghanistan is still at war after what, 8 years?

The people of Afghanistan, after so long aren't having it any better then before the U.S. went to war with their country. So, why should they support the americans?

Don't forget about Iraq. The country is still in shambles right now. Click here to visit a blog I found searching via google. In-fighting is still on-going. The people are still bombing and shooting at each other. I can tell you, the Americans are totally stretched right now. What, with the economy in tattered. No, wonder the world suffers with it.

Click here for War Report on both of this countries.

For latest news on the on-going Gaza war. Click here.

Slowly, but surely. The world will end.

India Under Terrorist Siege

So, Mumbai became like a war zone. Suspected, Al-Qaeda Pakistan-link terrorist lay siege. Frankly, I was thinking the same kind of strategy that the terrorist should have used years ago. But, I guess they were into suicide bombing kind of thingy. Just like the Palestinians suicide bomber?

Now, that same kind of strategy is maybe planned by Al-Qaeda for the U.S. But, I would have guess that they would do it during President Bush administration. I'm not sure if it will happen during Obama presidency. But, who knows right?

By the way, don't take my word for it. I'm not a counter-terrorist expert or someone who can forsee and prophecise thing or whatever. Only, that, if you put yourself into the terrorist shoe, you might began to know their way of thinking and maybe what they'll do next. I'm sure they're already planning something. But, what?

For one thing, they'll think outside the box. They aren't stupid. They, will plan, and do recon and become a sleeper etc. waiting for the right moment to strike. They might use the U.S. own weapon againts them. That's what they're good at. Use the things around you to hurt your enemy. But, I guess with the world economy on the decline started by the U.S. sub-prime, they'll be a bit happy about that.

Things have been a little quiet right now in the U.S. NOT because of whatever the security apparatus are doing but because, the Al-Qaeda are retreating and consolidating whatever resources it have right now. Remember, in war, just because your enemy is retreating doesn't mean that they're losing. They might be setting up a trap!

These days, it's not the time to let your guard down. The world are currently in financial turmoil. Thailand are in a political conundram, and India just laid siege. The war in Iraq and Afghanistan seems to have no end and what can I say about the middle east crisis that we all doesn't know about?

Baaahh ..the world just can't stop destroying itself ya?

But, back to the India siege. I see that they're totally tactical and well planned. That of course against the backdrop of India incompetency in combating the terrorist?

If you want more in-depth look on this then click here to read an article in Forbes.

Got to go right now. Be safe and have a great weekend.

1000 new graves to bury U.S. troops

..and that is just a start. Many more expecting. So expect.

Frankly, I didn't think the war would still be going on after the fall of Saddam. But, obviously I was wrong and so did Bush and his administration!

To me, from the very beginning I thought Bush make a stupid decision of going to war in Afghanistan and more so on Iraq. Now, he's wasted 1000s of lives (and money) especially the Iraqi people. The U.S. troops only lost 1000 but 1000s more children, father, mother, grandmother, brothers, sisters and relatives has died in this most bloodied war ever in this modern world.

And all this for what? W f*&cking MD? Where the hell is it? Democracy?

Even, after Saddam is dead people are still killing each other almost everyday. It's like letting loose the animal that Saddam had all this while been able to cage within.

What Bush and his cohorts forget is that human nature will not entirely give in to their wimps just because they're the U.S.

He (Bush) really is fanning the small flame that's been burning quietly all this years.

I don't know about you but I know it's going to take a looOOooooo o o ong time before we can put out the fire entirely. The fire for now has been burning just in a few spots of the world but if we can't control it I'm afraid the fire will spread out even further and God knows if the fire will in the end destroy us all.

For now, the U.S. is safe from this fire but I don't know. If the U.S. aren't carefull and be vigilant, that fire will soon burn intensely. I think the U.S. homeground will be the 'holy grail' for the intent terrorist. It's always a plus to destroy your enemy at their own home turf?

That's my take on this on-going war saga.

It ain't over till the fat lady sings. For whom the fat lady will sing to? We'll see.

Bush should take note of that.

Heh!
