I have always like the original Star wars movie. It's the movie that I grew up with. Time have changed and the latest Star Wars movie reflect that change in it. In fact, most of the remakes and new movies have that different vibes in it.

I'm not just talking about the technology. But, the change in the environment, our way of thinking, the millennials. Is it for the better? Is being edgy better? Being, too smart for our own good? I think, there's a conflict going on right now.


No, I'm not talking about the illegal wars been going on in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. I'm talking about the conflict of thoughts with the older generations that's going out and the new millennials still streaming in.

The millennials, are definitely the future right now. But, they need to hold firmly to that passing batton and make it their own. Just like in this Star Wars movie, mark hamilton, leading the young against the dark forces that want to try again, take over good.

Some of the older generation (like Trump) need to go. The 'new' people need to take over and bring the world to the next level. Until now, we still haven't build a spaceship and even setup base on our nearest neighbours. We're still living in a science fiction world!

We need more scientist and more experts on technology to achieve this enormous task. Earth, resources are going to be used out soon and our populations are still growing. Food and water shortage are a concerned and country like Myanmar and now America closing their borders.

We are now almost at the end of 2017 and it'll be 2020 soon. We're supposed to be in the forefront of critical modern thinking and the social media today have make the world smaller. But, there are still countries living like a frog under a rock!

Lucas, the original creator of Star Wars have always been a storyteller. Some people have even accused him of being racist in his movie. But, it's just a reflection of what we are as a people. As a temporary occupants of this place called, Earth.

When you watch the Star Wars movie, you might want to take a closer look. It might just be like watching the mirror reflection of you.

It's high time for a change and to look forward into the future!

My mom hospitalized.

So, like my mom was hospitalized today. She's still in the hospital today, resting. I think she need it. She's having respiratory problem and the doctor decided that she should stay for the night at least to be observed.

Her blood taken and given some kind of oxygen mask a couple of time. When, I left her she's looking a little better and I think maybe tomorrow she'll be able to return home. Well, that's good. I'm not sure what's her problem is. She hadn't this problem before. Maybe, she's getting old. Maybe, I'm getting old too as I actually had some chest pain (lungs) too. It hurts a little to breathe but right now, it seems to be gone. I've had this chest pain a couple of time but I didn't go to see a doctor. I haven't seen a doctor for like ages. All this while, I didn't really had some bad sickness that I should go to see a doctor about. Come to think of it, that's really good. I've had friends who had cancer, tumor or whatever crap there is out there. I try to take care of myself. I try not to drink sweet drinks or any alcohol which is like, never.

I also don't smoke or go out and party hard or whatever. I drink warm plain water most of the time at work. Only at home, I drink some syrups. That's about it. As, I'm Asian, I eat rice a lot but it seems that isn't good for your health if you take too much. So, since, there's some kind of rice shortage and food prices soaring, maybe it's time to eat less and eat healthy. I guess, you could use these kind of tough times to really evaluate things in your life. Maybe, we're having it good for so long that all of us took it for granted. In time of crisis you could take it hard and give up or you could turn it around and change it to your advantage.

I think people nowadays, especially the young who grew in the MTV age really needs to learn that there's more to life then your father buying you a mercedez at your18th birthday. Teenagers nowadays are really having it good. Maybe, too good for their own bloody self. Some of them are more interested in themselves then about others. They only care what's in it for them and doesn't care less about what others their own age is going through. These kids need to be taught a lesson. They need this kind of crisis, food shortage, water shortage, money shortage to really learn what life is all about. How, others are suffering. What's it like to suffer. What it's like when you don't know how you're going to survive when food is scarce. How people have to work hard to put food on the table. They need the lesson.

The economy right now is really getting a beating. I don't pretend that I know what's going on in the world right now but, I'm just feeling that something bad is going to happen soon unless the U.S. bucks up. Maybe, they need economic, political restructuring. They are like falling apart all over the place. Maybe, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan is beginning to take it's toll on the U.S.

Nothing is change in the middle east especially with the Israelis and the Palestinians. As, long as the problem is not resolved, it's going to be like a thorn that just won't go away!

It's going to be pretty interesting to see what's the future going to be like this couple of years. You don't have too look far to see that the war in Iraq and Afghanistan need to be resolved as soon as possible. As, long as the U.S. is in both of that war it will soon get worse and unless maybe they pull-out sooner rather then later then things really going to get worse and worse. Let just see if after Bush goes things will finally change for the better. Who knows.

Iraq won the 2007 AFC cup!

At first, I was afraid that theirs story will end in tears. But, that's the human spirit for you. They showed the world that in spite of not having the training facilities, or a soccer league of their own. Added to that that their country are in turmoil. Who would have thought that they'll beat Saudi Arabia?

I myself thought that the Saudis were a better team. With highly paid players playing in their top club. I know that they have good quality skillful players. But, yesterday on the match itself they can't match the Iraqis determination to win not just for themselves but for their war-torned country. What a triumph!

All over the news in CNN, BBC talking about that historical win and almost all hope that the politicians should take a lesson from sports and particularly the soccer team. Where in the team there were Muslims, Christians, Kurds, Sunnis and Shias but they manage to unite and work as a team.

Iraq should learn. We all should learn to live together as one people. We are all humans aren't we?

Nahh... we'll never learn.

Point in case? We're still making weapons to kill each other. Aren't we?

Oh yeah, by the way. We are still at war with the world. Not, just in Iraq. But, in Palestine and Israel. In the African countries. There's fire brewing underneath our feet. That fire is waiting to burn us all. We would think that it's just a small harmless fire but that small fire could grew bigger, fanned by hatred among us. It's just a matter of time..

And time is running out for all of us ..

Iraq through to the AFC Final !!

Total JUBILATION for Iraq!!

They are through to the AFC cup final!!

Against all odds, Iraq have defeated Korea via a penalty shootout 4-3. I'm pretty sure in Iraq right now the people are out on the streets shouting and honking their cars. Waving the Iraq flag in jubilation of their soccer team advancing to the final.

Iraq, a country ravage by war. By internal fighting. At the brink of a civil war. But, with football they are united. Kurds, sunni or shia. They fought for each other and with spirits to win for their beloved country. I have to hand it to them. They, deserves all the praise in the world after what the people and the players themselves have to go through just to play football.

This could be the greatest underdog story for football fans worldwide.

I salute the Iraq players.

In the world without hope and living in desperation and death of relatives in Iraq, they fought through and did their very best. They believe in something. And football help them fulfill that dream.

For me though, I'm fed up with Paypal for closing my account today with them without giving me a chance to settle the problem!

That's life for you.

That's life for me too. When, I thought things are getting a bit better and circumstances have to bring me down.

Life is full of crap. Thank you very much!

AFC: Vietnam Vs. Iraq

I'm watching the Asia Football Championship between Vietnam and Iraq right now (while typing this). And, I think it's kind of ironic that both of this country used to and currently at war that involved the U.S. Army.

Remember the Vietnam war?

That's what the terrorist is telling the U.S.

Right, now the U.S. army is in Iraq. A country ravage by war just like Vietnam used to be.

Now, this two country meet in a football match. I wonder, if the Vietnam players are telling the Iraq players that their country too may become peaceful when and if the U.S. get out of Iraq just like they get out of Vietnam.

That could be interesting.

I think time will only tell if this could happen.

By the way, the earlier match between Japan and Australia ended in a penalty shootout after extra time and Japan deservedly win. The goalkeepers saved two shots and he help the Japanese go through to the semi-finals.

Australia was touted as one of the contender to win the AFC cup but, I think that's kind of arrogant and this proved how I was right in thinking that Australia should be kick out of the AFC cup at least for a couple of years.

The way they played was too sluggish to my liking compared to the other Asian countries like Thailand or Vietnam. Which play fast, beautiful football.

Australia on paper seems like a good team with their Europe based players like Harry Kewell that plays for Liverpool and Mark Viduka now playing for Newcastle. But, in the football pitch it's a different matter.

Well, that's all I wanted to say today.

I'm going back to watching the match. It's kind of heartening that in spite of their country torn by war the Iraq players are pretty good. They're playing good strong football. That's really surprising to me. Well, good for them then.

The only uplifting moment was when I followed a couple of the kids –- asking them to show me how they get by and entertain themselves. They pulled out all the toys they'd found in the garbage and repaired, games they had made up to entertain themselves, and were keen to impress me with their inventiveness. Their resilience was so inspiring, but it was also bittersweet as their life in Jordan is seriously limited. I only hope they find a better place to be able to deal with the terrible things they've known in their short lives.

1000 new graves to bury U.S. troops

..and that is just a start. Many more expecting. So expect.

Frankly, I didn't think the war would still be going on after the fall of Saddam. But, obviously I was wrong and so did Bush and his administration!

To me, from the very beginning I thought Bush make a stupid decision of going to war in Afghanistan and more so on Iraq. Now, he's wasted 1000s of lives (and money) especially the Iraqi people. The U.S. troops only lost 1000 but 1000s more children, father, mother, grandmother, brothers, sisters and relatives has died in this most bloodied war ever in this modern world.

And all this for what? W f*&cking MD? Where the hell is it? Democracy?

Even, after Saddam is dead people are still killing each other almost everyday. It's like letting loose the animal that Saddam had all this while been able to cage within.

What Bush and his cohorts forget is that human nature will not entirely give in to their wimps just because they're the U.S.

He (Bush) really is fanning the small flame that's been burning quietly all this years.

I don't know about you but I know it's going to take a looOOooooo o o ong time before we can put out the fire entirely. The fire for now has been burning just in a few spots of the world but if we can't control it I'm afraid the fire will spread out even further and God knows if the fire will in the end destroy us all.

For now, the U.S. is safe from this fire but I don't know. If the U.S. aren't carefull and be vigilant, that fire will soon burn intensely. I think the U.S. homeground will be the 'holy grail' for the intent terrorist. It's always a plus to destroy your enemy at their own home turf?

That's my take on this on-going war saga.

It ain't over till the fat lady sings. For whom the fat lady will sing to? We'll see.

Bush should take note of that.
