Navigating the Noise: Finding Peace Amidst the Turmoil of Trump's Presidency

The re-election of Donald Trump has ushered in a period marked by heightened political tension and societal division. For many, the challenge lies in maintaining personal tranquility while navigating the pervasive discourse surrounding his administration. This article delves into strategies for cultivating a peaceful life amidst the political clamor, examines the factors contributing to unwavering support for Trump, and explores the broader implications of his policies and affiliations.

Cultivating Personal Peace in Politically Charged Times

In an era where political news is omnipresent, it's essential to establish boundaries to preserve mental well-being. Consider the following approaches:

- Limit Media Consumption: Allocate specific times for news intake to prevent constant exposure to distressing information.

- Engage in Mindfulness Practices: Meditation, yoga, or nature walks can help center the mind and reduce anxiety.

- Foster Community Connections: Surround yourself with supportive individuals who share your values, providing a buffer against external turmoil.

- Focus on Personal Growth: Channel energy into hobbies, learning opportunities, or creative pursuits that bring joy and fulfillment.

Understanding the Enduring Support for Trump

Despite numerous controversies, Trump's base remains steadfast. Several factors contribute to this loyalty:

- Economic Promises: Many supporters believe Trump's policies bolster economic growth and job creation, appealing to individuals in economically distressed regions.

- Cultural Alignment: Trump's rhetoric resonates with individuals who feel their cultural identity is a threat, offering a sense of validation and representation.

- Media Consumption: A significant portion of his base consumes media that reinforces pro-Trump narratives, shaping their perceptions and beliefs.

- Distrust of Establishment: Trump's outsider persona appeals to those distrustful of traditional political institutions, viewing him as a disruptor challenging the status quo.

Elon Musk's Support for Trump: A Complex Relationship

Elon Musk's public support for Trump has raised questions about his motivations. While Musk has not explicitly detailed his reasons, several considerations may play a role:

- Regulatory Environment: Trump's administration has favored deregulation, which could benefit Musk's ventures in technology and manufacturing.

- Economic Policies: Tax incentives and policies promoting business growth may align with Musk's interests in expanding his enterprises.

- Strategic Alliances: Aligning with the administration could facilitate favorable conditions for Musk's projects, such as space exploration and infrastructure development.

The Impact of Trump's Tariffs on American Society and Economy

Trump's implementation of a 25% tariff on imported goods has had multifaceted effects:

- Consumer Prices: Increased costs for imported goods have led to higher prices, affecting purchasing power.

- Domestic Production: While intended to boost domestic manufacturing, the tariffs have resulted in supply chain disruptions and increased costs for American producers reliant on imported components.

- Global Trade Relations: The tariffs have strained relationships with trading partners, leading to retaliatory measures and uncertainty in international markets.

The Intersection of Business and Politics: Musk's Calculated Risks

Musk's association with Trump carries potential repercussions:

- Public Perception: Aligning with a polarizing figure may affect consumer sentiment toward Musk's brands.

- Policy Influence: While there may be short-term gains from favorable policies, long-term association with controversial politics could pose risks as administrations change.

The Demographic and Psychological Profile of Trump's Supporters

Research into the characteristics of Trump's supporters reveals:

- Demographics: White, non-college-educated individuals from rural areas.

- Psychological Factors: Feelings of economic anxiety, cultural displacement, and a desire for strong leadership contribute to their support.

- Religious Considerations: Despite moral contradictions, many evangelical Christians support Trump due to his stances on issues like abortion and religious freedom.

The Dichotomy of Truth and Perception in Contemporary Society

The current political climate has blurred the lines between truth and falsehood:

- Misinformation Proliferation: The spread of false information has led to polarized beliefs and skepticism toward traditional sources of authority.

- Erosion of Trust: Conflicting narratives have undermined public trust in institutions, leading to a fragmented societal consensus on reality.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Mental Health Guide: Strategies to manage mood effectively in times of Global Distress

Hey guys,

Check it out!

In this time of the Coronavirus covid-19 pandemic, some groups of people are turning this into political b.s. Would you believe that there are people protesting all over the U.S. to open up the states again and stop the lockdown? I even see some parents bringing their children out with them. FFS!

What's worse is that you have the president of the United States backing it up and telling them to 'liberate' themselves. Thank goodness there are still good and sane people in charge of some of the states like California and New York.

Those states that have been on lockdown for almost two months are now seeing the results. That's a good sign but, governors are still cautious. In fact, other countries hit hard by the virus, like Italy has now slowly opened up again. Thanks to Italian mayors doing their job that keep reminding the people to #stayathome.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Mental Health Guide: Strategies to manage mood effectively in times of Global Distress

Yes, I know it's hard. Especially, for those out of jobs, out of money and out of food. That's why the government needs to do their job to support the people. We as a community can also help each other by donating money, food, or volunteering.

The first time, I heard about the Virus when news about it from Wuhan and a doctor that tried to warn the world. He later died. The Chinese government tried to control and hide it at first but finally decided to tell the truth after things had got worse. Even WHO the World Health Organization gave mixed information.

COVID-19 OUTBREAK: How Coronavirus Will Destroy Economy

First, WHO said, the virus is not infectious. Later, they say it is. Finally, they declare its a pandemic. By then, most people from China that didn't know they were infected have traveled throughout the world by tourism or work-related.

European countries like Italy and Spain were hit really hard. Hundreds if not thousands infected and died. Most of the cities are crowded with people in close proximity. That's part of the reason why many are infected, fast. And countries like Italy have many old people that died.

Now the medical experts tell us that some people are asymptomatic and won't even know that they're infected with the virus. They can be walking around spreading the virus without knowing it. It's like a silent killer. That's why everyone is advised to wear a mask when before, we were told not to unless we're sick.

I've been following the news about the spread of the coronavirus all over the world. Even before the pandemic, since Trump became the president, I've been telling people in my post to stock up on food and water. To be prepared for the worse. I find him to be a dangerous man that only cares about himself. Now, the pandemic has shown the world how incompetent he is when shits hit the fan!

I hope those that had read my past posts have actually prepared. If you didn't listen, well, you should have. Never take things for granted. With the kind of world, we're living in. Everyone for himself. Even if we get through this, let this be a lesson. Always be prepared!

Save our Future - How We Got Into This Mess

Hey guys,

Happy holidays!

It's X'mas and also the new year 2018 is coming up!

Are you optimistics about the coming year?

Well, shit can and will happen. The important thing is to be mentally prepared. Don't get your expectations too high and also always be ready. It's good to get updated on weather patterns and changes. To be alert on possible nature impact on your home and lives.

It's also good to be in the know of what's happening around you in the job markets, educations, school, politics and be focus on what you want for the year. Of course, for whatever plan we have, sometime, things don't work out as it should be. That's normal. Adapt and change!

2018 are just around the corner. Yet, a lot of stupid things are happening and common sense are becoming rare. We are supposed to be in the forefront of technology and critical thinking. An open global market and sharing of knowledge via internets or open discussions.

Alas, it's not happening. We are basically being pushed back by people who doesn't believe in climate change or sharing and making the future looked bleak for our future generations. The poor are getting poor and what's worst are they're not getting any support.

The top people in power (rich corporations) are using their wealth to control the government and want the common people to stay dumb and stupid. Educations, medicare and basic utilities are becoming expensive whereas they are so important to our survival.

This unbalance of wealth and power will soon change. They forget, they can't live forever and for every actions there are reactions. The people will rise and change will happen. But, it need to start from below. The people have the power to make that change.

It just need that spark!!

Don't forget to watch Robert Reich video!

Take care and happy holidays!

Oil spike to spoil US economy bubble

Oil spike to spoil US economy bubble

The U.S. might not be the only one feeling the pinch right now.

Europe and Asia are feeling the heat too.

This crisis is certainly hitting all of us hard.

I'm still wondering if 2012 doom and gloom apocalyptic is coming true.

This crisis are getting from bad to worse and it might going to be an epic world f**ckin disaster!

It might not be going to impact the world so much if only one country is going through a 'revolution' but right now it's almost all of the Middle east and African Nation ( we haven't even talk about Europe!).

I just hope we're not nearing 'Armageddon'.

It's really that serious. The signs are all there.

I'm just watching the whole situation from afar right now.

You never know..

A couple of post ago, I've had advised you to save up on food and other daily essentials for at least 6 month. If you still haven't do it. This might be a good time. Okay, I'm not asking you to panic now (should we?) but it's better to be prepared.

Price and everything else could be rising in the not so near future (or has it already?). Just hope I'm wrong.

If the world leaders are not doing anything to help 'curbed' the unrest in several part of the world right now, things might certainly get worse.

But, I'm not just talking about one country leaders, I'm talking the whole world leaders.

Where's the UN?

They should be the 'middle man' in all of this crisis. They should have come in to Iraq, settle the Palestinian and Israel land dispute. Reigned in North Korea etc. etc. Okay, I know it's not easy. It's not like you're trying to settle dispute between two kids (more like between two buffoons). But, they have the world leaders at their disposal. Top man, top negotiator and top team to settle all of this crisis.

In this day of age, there should be no more saying "Oh, let's their own people sought things out, why should we get involved?".

Hello, all this border is man-made. We are all human of the same species. We're like brothers. If our right hand get's injured the bloody whole body will feel the pain. Get it?

All of this rubbish, have been dragged on for far too long. That's why the world is in the state it is right now.

Look, I'm no expert but if you see a small, UN-control fire in your house would you immediately put it out or wait until it grew BIG and then call the Fireman?

Ahh ..the world is going bonk-case my dear reader.

I'll stop my rambling for now.

Take care and stay safe.

My mom hospitalized.

So, like my mom was hospitalized today. She's still in the hospital today, resting. I think she need it. She's having respiratory problem and the doctor decided that she should stay for the night at least to be observed.

Her blood taken and given some kind of oxygen mask a couple of time. When, I left her she's looking a little better and I think maybe tomorrow she'll be able to return home. Well, that's good. I'm not sure what's her problem is. She hadn't this problem before. Maybe, she's getting old. Maybe, I'm getting old too as I actually had some chest pain (lungs) too. It hurts a little to breathe but right now, it seems to be gone. I've had this chest pain a couple of time but I didn't go to see a doctor. I haven't seen a doctor for like ages. All this while, I didn't really had some bad sickness that I should go to see a doctor about. Come to think of it, that's really good. I've had friends who had cancer, tumor or whatever crap there is out there. I try to take care of myself. I try not to drink sweet drinks or any alcohol which is like, never.

I also don't smoke or go out and party hard or whatever. I drink warm plain water most of the time at work. Only at home, I drink some syrups. That's about it. As, I'm Asian, I eat rice a lot but it seems that isn't good for your health if you take too much. So, since, there's some kind of rice shortage and food prices soaring, maybe it's time to eat less and eat healthy. I guess, you could use these kind of tough times to really evaluate things in your life. Maybe, we're having it good for so long that all of us took it for granted. In time of crisis you could take it hard and give up or you could turn it around and change it to your advantage.

I think people nowadays, especially the young who grew in the MTV age really needs to learn that there's more to life then your father buying you a mercedez at your18th birthday. Teenagers nowadays are really having it good. Maybe, too good for their own bloody self. Some of them are more interested in themselves then about others. They only care what's in it for them and doesn't care less about what others their own age is going through. These kids need to be taught a lesson. They need this kind of crisis, food shortage, water shortage, money shortage to really learn what life is all about. How, others are suffering. What's it like to suffer. What it's like when you don't know how you're going to survive when food is scarce. How people have to work hard to put food on the table. They need the lesson.

The economy right now is really getting a beating. I don't pretend that I know what's going on in the world right now but, I'm just feeling that something bad is going to happen soon unless the U.S. bucks up. Maybe, they need economic, political restructuring. They are like falling apart all over the place. Maybe, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan is beginning to take it's toll on the U.S.

Nothing is change in the middle east especially with the Israelis and the Palestinians. As, long as the problem is not resolved, it's going to be like a thorn that just won't go away!

It's going to be pretty interesting to see what's the future going to be like this couple of years. You don't have too look far to see that the war in Iraq and Afghanistan need to be resolved as soon as possible. As, long as the U.S. is in both of that war it will soon get worse and unless maybe they pull-out sooner rather then later then things really going to get worse and worse. Let just see if after Bush goes things will finally change for the better. Who knows.

Only, God knows.

Peace.. everyone is taking it for granted!
