I don't celebrate Diwali, but I have friends who do. It's also a holiday, so a great day to spend time with your family and friends. But, of course, be careful as there's still a pandemic going on. Maybe, we will celebrate it bigger next year when everything is under control!
Hint: The lady in the video is my ex-colleague.
So, enjoy and wishing for the best in 2021!

Currently, I'm still using my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. What I like most about the Note series is that it comes with an S Pen. Which is pretty useful and handy to play with. Especially, in coloring games or for writing notes.
Anyway, before the pandemic, I went for a holiday with my family to Krabi, Thailand and we had a great time. My niece was the one booking for us via Airbnb a nice Villa with a small swimming pool. Thailand is hot. A swimming pool definitely great for a cool and fun time!
I was still using my S10+ back then, and it was my first holiday that I used a Samsung phone to take pictures and videos. Frankly, I was used to using my iPhone for that. Especially, when my favorite video editor is the iMovie.
Since I've switched to an Android phone, I really had a problem finding a mobile movie editor that I like. I tried all the free apps and hated most of them. I finally decided to try the one by Adobe. No, I didn't like it. But, it was as close as using the iMovie editor.
I'm hoping to one day, get the Nikon Coolpix P1000. Actually, I wanted it for moon watching. The 125x optical zoom is pretty good. I'm not an expert in using a camera as I've never had one. I got interested after watching several videos on the moon watching using just the camera.
A lot of camera enthusiast says that the Nikon COOLPIX P900 Digital Camera is actually better and cheaper. The P1000 has upgraded on specs but not that much. I think that's why they don't like it. I'm thinking of waiting for at least another upgrade from the P1000 if any.
I'm wondering if it's possible to link the camera to your laptop. Especially, when I want to record my moon-watching session. I'm also hoping that one day, maybe, I don't have to get a 100x zoom camera but can do it with just my mobile phone.
Would it be possible to moon-watch with just your mobile phone? Well, I can't definitely do it now with my Samsung Note 10+. I'm pretty sure you can't do that even with the latest zooming capabilities of the latest android phone. Or, can you?
If there's one phone you wish to bring along when you're traveling is the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. It is a folding phone means, you can use it as a single phone or open it up and use it as a mini-tablet. Easy to hold to take those pictures or videos in a single mode.
Later at the hotel, you can open it up and edit your videos easily with a bigger screen. Use a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, voila, your portable computing setup in the hotel room. My sis, like to do video call on her Note 8, via Whatsapp when we were at the Aonang Villa which got Free wifi.
Nowadays, you can pretty much do everything with just your mobile phone. I took many great pictures and videos on my Galaxy S10 plus and you can read up or check out some of the photos I uploaded via my post here. Don't forget to watch the video above!
Hopefully (pray), we'll have the working vaccine for the coronavirus covid-19 soon and all go for a deserved holiday!
What you guys think?

I've been on a holiday in Krabi, Ao Nang Thailand for a couple of days and it was really fun and beautiful. There were many things to do and places to visit. Sample the local food and drinks. Will definitely come back to enjoy their hospitality!
I didn't go for the islands tour. Maybe, next time. My family booked the Love Aonang Villa pool. A really nice and big place, especially if you're holidaying with the whole family. It's clean with aircon. Krabi is really hot even for me. It only rained once while I was there and there was half an hour blackout. They fixed it pretty quickly.
The Ao Nang beach is really beautiful. If you have the chance, visit it. You don't have to book a villa. There are many hotels available along the main Ao Nang Krabi road. There are also many massage parlors, bars, and souvenirs shop. Most of the shop and bazaars are opened at night. There are many taxis and even motorbikes to rent. Traveling around isn't a problem.
Here are some pics of the place I visited:
Beautiful lighted mosque at night with food bazaars for tourist from all over the world!
Tented bazaars shopping!
Food and drinks sold outside the mosque.
Of course, there are also well known modern shops available.
Many hotels are available along Ao Nang road.
The massage parlor is everywhere!
Hotels and dinners on a beautiful night!
Just love the beautiful natural backdrops!
Choose your favorite hotel available!
Along the streets of Ao Nang!
Savor the local dishes!
Authentic Thai food!
A little hot!
Or you can grab a burger and fries.
Nice cool drinks!
My favorite Thai Seafood fried rice!
Curry Seafood
Not sure what they called this. But, it's hot!
Thai KFC Pepsi. I find it funny the straw is so small.
The view outside my Aonang Love pool villa.
Local view along the streets in the day.
Many taxies are available.
Many tourist information booth and shop to book your boat or taxies.
Street view
Aonang Krabi Thailand beach!
Nice to just lay back and enjoy the views and the Sun!
You don't even have to bring along an adapter to charge your phones or tablets as it's also provided.
Nice big comfy sofas.
You can bbq or cook your own food here.
I took many more pictures that I can't possibly fit them all here in one single post. But, you get the idea. There are many beautiful natural islands and beaches not just in Thailand but around Asia. It's simply nice just to visit these places.
