apple mouse quick test on my iPad pro 10.5

Apple Wireless Magic Keyboard 2 -MLA22LL/A with Apple Magic Bluetooth Mouse 2 -MLA02LL/A (Renewed)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Finally! You can now use your Apple mouse with your iPad pro!

I've been waiting for this feature to like forever. Why Apple is so stubborn I don't know. Yes, using your fingers are very nifty and quick to navigate through the apps, working or even gaming. But, if you have set up your iPad like a computer. You'll be missing that mouse usability.

There's been a countless time when I instinctively reach out to grab a mouse while using the iPad. Only to realized it isn't there. Because you can't use it with an iPad. Don't be too happy though. It's still not the same as using a mouse with your windows computer.

For one thing, you can't scroll. You can't scroll through a webpage. You can't scroll through your apps. Although, I might be wrong. As I haven't really look through the features setting yet. I'm not even sure if you can use a mouse to play games on the iPad.

Also, you can't just go to your iPad settings and pair your Bluetooth mouse like any other devices. You'll have to go to Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch > On the AssistiveTouch > Pointing Devices > Bluetooth Devices to add your mouse.

If you're pairing your Apple mouse, you'll need to enter the pin "0000". It'll then show up in your main Bluetooth section and showed as connect. It took me a while to make it work. I had to search the net to find out the correct pin as I thought I just need to key in my usual own pin number.

Once connected, you're done. You can start using your mouse as if you're using it on a windows computer. Like I said, it's not really the same. But, for now, it'll do. The fact, you can use a mouse with an iPad, is an achievement itself. Lol!

Do I feel complete using a mouse with the iPad? This is a good start. A few months ago, I gave feedback to Apple about why I can't use an apple mouse with an Apple iPad? I love using the Apple mouse and to not being able to use it with an iPad is kinda weird and stupid. It's their own products for God sake!

I'll be doing more testing with this 'new' mouse feature. Might try it out with some games. Who knows, we can now play RPG or even fps shooter game with the damn mouse. That doesn't mean, people will stop using touch. It's just convenience during the time when you're using it as a laptop or pc.

Note: If you didn't know it, you'll need to signup as a beta user here. To be able to download the beta iPad OS at your own risk!

Samsung S10+ Dex Pad USB Powered Portable Monitor unboxing

Eyoyo 13" inch Portable HDMI Monitor 2K 2560x1440 IPS Gaming Monitor Second Monitor Screen for Laptop PC Compatible with Raspberry Pi, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 w/Two HDMI Inputs

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Finally, got my very own portable mobile computing setup. Just got my, portable monitor yesterday, which doesn't even have a brand name. I got it because it's cheaper and you can power it up with a power bank. Which is pretty cool. The design is actually kinda the same as the Eyoyo brand.

I had a little problem when I first try to power the monitor up. I tried everything until I discovered, that I had the same USB power cable in my keeps. So, I tried it out and it works. After I managed to make the monitor works with my power bank, I connected my s10+ with the USB type c to HDMI cable that I bought earlier. Voila! Now, my phone becomes a laptop!

I'm actually, typing and posting this using my mobile setup right now. I managed to make everything looks as if, I'm on my pc. I'm using the chromium browser in Linux on dex. A little updated version that got all my extensions. I would have preferred to use Firefox, but it got a problem with HTML 5

There is still a problem with using Samsung on dex or linux on dex. For one thing, my apple mouse acted weird when I'm in linux. But, it works fine when I'm in Samsung dex. No problem with my apple keyboard. I constantly jump between Firefox and Chrome. I try to use Firefox as much as possible but, certain things like watching youtube are a pain. For chrome, it's still not the same as the pc version. Especially, when I need certain extensions.

I'm testing how long can my power bank and phone last without the need to recharge. I started around 1:30 pm and now it's already 5:10pm. I would say, using this setup, I could last around 4-8 hours. That's if I really squeeze it. I didn't play much videos or games. So, it could be shorter. My phone battery is already at 39%. If you have a dex pad, you can recharge the phone and use it at the same time. I can also recharge my power bank separately at the same time.

You can actually charge your power bank with the dex pad, but, you can't use the monitor at the same time. It won't work. That's the thing with this setup. If you know, you won't need a wall power for a while, you can just bring your USB type c to HDMI cable. But, if you're going to travel, you'll need to bring extra chargers. It's mobile alright, but there's a lot of loose things you need to bring along. That's the difference between having a lapdock.

I decided to dock the phone to my dex pad and recharge my phone right now. I just unplugged, and plugged back the cables and went straight to linux. The browser is right where I left it. So, now, I just continue typing this article. That was really painless. I don't think, I need to recharge my power bank as it still has 3 full bars of power. I guess the portable monitor doesn't use much. That's good news. For you road warriors out there.

As I'm used to my iPad touch screen, I found myself trying to tap on the monitor a couple of time. I'm not sure if you really need a touch screen. I prefer not to smudge my screen with fingerprints. That's something, I need to get used to when using this monitor. Well, I think, I'm going to leave it at that. My tummy is growling and I'll finish it here. In short, this is just like getting myself a new linux or android laptop. Way cool!

I really love this monitor and there's not been even a flicker since I first turn this on. I think I do need to figure out how to make the text bigger. As this is a 13" monitor, the words are a little small. The strange thing is that the text is bigger when I visited my blog.

Guess, that's it for today. By the way, I just realized my power bank is already at 2 1/2 bars. Going to recharge it right away. It's better and faster to recharge your devices when it's down half then when it's almost way down to zero. Need to take care of the batteries.

iMac 24" 2009 OS X Yosemite still good in 2018

Apple iMac Pro (27" with Retina 5K Display, 3.2GHz 8-core Intel Xeon W, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD) - Space Gray

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Finally, got myself an iMac. Albeit, an old 2009, 24" wider screen with OS X Yosemite. But, despite the years, it's still in good shape. It come with 2.93 Ghz intel core 2 duo. Upgraded to 8gb ram from original 4.

It's not that snappy but, fast enough. I tried playing zen pinball and it was pretty smooth. I don't have any other games but, with GT120, I don't expect much. I've never had an iMac and got this from a friend who already bought the latest replacement.

If you're interested in getting a refurbished mac, get one from the link below:

You might want to get this via the link below:

I'm posting this from the iMac and it's a learning curve. Coming, from a pc user. Some things, just doesn't work as it should be. Despite that, everything else work just fine. I actually love this keyboard and the magic mouse. Pretty cool!

There's something about Apple products that just scream quality. With it all-in-one cool slim design. It is heavy and would need some strength to lug around. I really like the latest dark design. Way cool!

If you're not a gamer or just need a great computer for social media and some work, definitely get the iMac. A refurbished iMac would be a little cheaper and if you want to go for the latest, there's also cheaper i5 versions.
