Apple iPhone 8 Plus, 64GB, Space Gray - Fully Unlocked (Renewed)
Hey guys,
Check it out!
Wow! I got my first iPhone, the iPhone 3G way back in 2008. That's almost 12 years ago. I was practically sold by Steve Jobs when he announced and show the first iPhone. But, I only managed to get the 3G version after almost a year of waiting.
Some critics say that some of the iPhone features weren't really anything new. That might be true, but the iPhone actually does it better. I remember being overawed by the iPhone. The gyroscope, the cool music player, gaming, and the internet browser.

Before the iPhone came, I, like the rest of the world have been using phones by Nokia, Sony-ericsson, and even by Palm. One thing that interests me was the ability to surf the net on your tiny mobile phone. Of course, it wasn't until the iPhone came that surfing on mobile really took off.
The only problem with surfing the net on the iPhone was the ban on Java. Without java, the browser was practically crippled. In any case, the experience was much better than the browser on the other phones. It took a while for the others to catch up to the idea of mobile surfing.

Obviously, I like gaming, and back then, even before I had the iPhone, I actually bought a lot of games for the mobile phone. The games were all retro looking. One thing I hate is that, if I change to another phone, I'll have to buy that same game again.
When the iPhone showed the type of games you can play, I'm like, wtf. I want this! Also, Apple was smart to have iTunes. That means, even if I upgrade my phone, I can re-download the games, music, movies, ebooks, podcast again without having to pay for it.

I didn't get the iPhone 4 and 5. I did get the iPhone 6, 7 and the last is iPhone 8 plus. I didn't like the design of the iPhone X with the notch, so, I decided to go for a Samsung android phone. Frankly, I didn't like android when I was using the S3. It was unstable and I prefer iOS.
The best iPhone I ever owned was my iPhone 8 plus. If Apple gets rid of the notch and did a better design like my Samsung Note 10+ that I'm using now, I might return and get the iPhone. One of the reasons is the camera and the iMovie app.

As a Youtuber, I take pictures and videos a lot. So, obviously, I need a good camera. The camera phones have improved a lot since my iPhone 3G days. If you watch my video above, you'll definitely see the difference between my old and new videos.
I've tried using other mobile movie editors but I like the iMovie app the most. It's free, simple, fast to edit and upload. That's one thing I'm missing when using the android phone. Well, when I bought the iPad Pro, I realized that I won't need an iPhone anymore.

The iPad Pro is my main device use to take videos, pictures, edit and upload to youtube. The only problem is, I don't bring it along when I'm traveling. So, I had to depend on my Samsung Note+. The only free video editor that I like on the android phone is Quik (Google store link) by GoPro.
The other mobile video editor pretty much sucks. One thing I'm exasperated about other mobile editor is there's no 'snip' feature. So, if you want to cut something out in the middle of the video, you can't. Don't these guys do any kind of snipping?
Well, anyway. Just reminiscing my old youtube videos and some of the products that I had through the years. I really hope, Apple is going full screen with their phones and also do like Samsung with their Samsung Dex. Imagine, after taking my videos and then link it to a monitor and with a desktop interface, doing my editing, gaming, or other stuff. Cool idea?
