Do You Really Need a 512GB Micro SD Card For Nintendo Switch?

Hey guys,

Check it out!

The other day, some guy commented on my youtube Channel video about why anyone will need a 512gb MicroSD card if they're not going to hack. That's a pretty stupid question. First thing, I'm not interested in hacking my beloved switch lite. For whatever reason. Unless I find or given one free. I love my switch lite and don't need to hack it to enjoy gaming on it.

Granted, I wish I could do more with my switch but I'm not interested in my account being ban for shit stuff I can do on my phone or already have on other devices. Also, I want to support the game devs especially the indies and Nintendo too. Without our support how you think they're going to continue creating great games and console?

Just look at what's happening to the Sony Playstation Vita. Because, it's being constantly hacked, they decided to stop supporting and creating a new handheld console. Everyone wants things for free. But, without support from gamers, who's going to pay for all that research and hard work? Compare to the popularity of the Nintendo Switch.

Nobody actually thought the Nintendo Switch would become this popular. Already 50+ million units sold worldwide. And, they didn't even have a large catalog of games at first. I was actually one of those that didn't really get it at first. I finally decide to buy it on a whim one day especially when FIFA18 and SKYRIM were coming to the switch.

The thought of being able to play console-level games on the go is pretty enticing for me and my nephew. My nephew was actually the one urging me to buy the Nintendo Switch. And, I immediately bought Fifa 18 and Skyrim when it finally becomes available for the switch. He really loved playing it on handheld mode.

I have now sold my Nintendo Switch to him and got myself the Switch lite. That's when I decided to get the 512GB micro Sd card. I gave my 128gb micro sd card together with the Nintendo switch. If I had the money, I would have bought the 1TB micro sd card. Call me crazy but I like buying games and the storage isn't simply enough for me.

If you didn't know, there's actually a 2TB micro sd card that's being sold. Only, I'm not even sure if it's real or fake. Even then, I'm pretty sure it's not cheap. Not, until it's becoming more popular and common. A 2TB micro sd card? Yes, I'm already salivating at the thought of having 1000s of games to play on the go.

Games like Crysis and other popular pc/console games are coming to the switch and I can't wait to play them on my switch lite. I check some of the game size and they're actually not that big. I have already used half of my 512gb micro sd card. So, I'm starting to try to control the games that I'm buying or downloading. Which suckz!

I read an article saying that it's better to buy the 400GB then the 512GB storage size. Which is like bullshit. Although, the article is a little bit old. I got the 512GB because I know I'm not going to get the exact size. By the time, I insert the card on my switch it's going to be only showing 470+ left. If you don't know why is that, go google it.

In the end, it really depends on you. If you're not like me, who likes to go to the Nintendo eShop every so often to look for the latest games, then a 256GB card is probably enough. But, more games are coming to the switch and some of them are triple AAA games that need bigger storage. Going digital is both heaven and a curse.

Guess, you have to look at your budget and the willingness to hold off downloading some games. What you guys think?
