Samsung Note 10 + Samsung Dex Quik App Video Editor On PC

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Factory Unlocked Cell Phone with 256 GB (U.S. Warranty), Aura Black/ Note10+

Hey guys,

Check it out!

If you have been reading my blog post, you'll know, I prefer Samsung mobile phones. Simply because they have Samsung Dex. Which turns your phone into a PC with their desktop user interface (UI). Working around a desktop UI is definitely much better.

You can use a Dex Pad to connect your Samsung phone to a portable monitor or to your big screen Tv. Which is pretty cool. Now, you don't need a desktop PC or laptop anymore. When everything can be done on your mobile phone. Which is already as powerful.

I'm a Youtuber and Blogger. I make videos, edit them, and post on my youtube channel. I also use those videos to post on my blog and talk about them. Like, what I'm doing now. If I make videos on my Samsung Note 10+, I'll prefer using Quik free video editor.

I've tried many so-called 'free' video editor and this is as close as iMovie and Microsoft old Movie Maker. They're easy to use, with many samples style, music and text. Although, I hate it when the music I used is claimed copyrights. Which is why I'm muting certain parts of the video above.

Anyway, if you have a Samsung phone and with Samsung Dex on your pc, laptop, or portable monitor, it's much easier to edit your videos. Especially, with a mouse and keyboard. You'll have a bigger screen to work on and a mouse to selects, moves around, and the keyboard for texts.

Frankly, for quick video editing, I mostly do it on the phone itself. A little harder. Especially, when I need to do some snipping and add texts. In the old days, you'll need a computer to edit them. Even then, my computer used to hang a lot.

I'm starting to like the Z Fold phone. At first, I worry about the hinge and the screen. I went to a technical school so, I know mechanical stuff will wear and tear. And, the screen will have that fold line. Now, the Z Fold 2 hopefully have been better improved.

The thing that changes my mind is when I thought about how it actually looks like a mini laptop. The upper screen for views and the bottom part for the touch keyboard. You can set it up like a laptop for video conferencing without any accessories.

Samsung DeX Pad Desktop Experience for Samsung Galaxy Note8, GS8, GS8+, GS9, and GS9+ W/ Fast Charge USB-C Wall Charger (US Version with Warranty)

It'll be cool if it has the S Pen like my Note phone. If not, get a mini Bluetooth mouse. Don't forget, if you can also connect it to a monitor and use Samsung dex, you can do your work on a bigger screen too. But, one barrier is it's not cheap.

Hopefully, once the design gets more popular and parts are getting cheaper and better, the price will go down. I'm definitely thinking of getting this then. Imagine, the ability to edits my videos on the go, on the phone itself especially with its bigger screen or easy to type on when folded.

I'm going to call this the 'laptop phone' instead of the 'phablet' or folding phone. Finally, a real mini mobile computing phone?

Samsung, if you're reading this. Donate, me one of this phone and I'll make a video testing the heck out of this phone. :)

Super Mario Bros. 35 - Announcement Trailer - Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch Online 12-Month Individual Membership [Digital Code]

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Nintendo had their Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary direct and announced a couple of new special edition games. One game that really caught my eye though is the Super Mario Bros. 35. Which will be like the Tetris 99 Online battle game. Where you challenge 35 others in the battle to be the last Mario standing.

The idea sounds interesting and the gameplay demo looks fun too. Before you jump shouting hurray, there's a catch. The game will only be playable from 1 Oct31st March 2021. WTF? Seems, like I'm not the only one not happy about that decision.

Nintendo Switch Online 12-Month Individual Membership [Digital Code]

Everyone is asking, practically begging why can't it be a permanent fixture of the NSO? I mean, if you want people to sign-up to that service, and they like the game that you're offering? Maybe, Nintendo wants it to be something special and a one-off.

Well, it's special alright. There's no other kind of Mario online battle royale that exists. Of all the Mario games they have created, this is the most interesting. A Mario online battle that you can instantly challenge around 35 others (why not 99?).

Tetris 99 + 12 Month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership - Nintendo Switch

Frankly, the only reason I subscribed to NSO is because of the retro games available on the Nintendo Switch. And, of course, since, I also get to play Tetris 99. Another reason is I got the Overwatch Legendary edition for the Nintendo Switch. You need NSO to play the game.

NSO needs something new and fresh. I talked about Netflix and Spotify being offered with Nintendo Switch Online before in my blog. Wouldn't that be nice? Being able to watch movies and Tv shows on your switch and also listen to music while on the go?

Overwatch Legendary Edition - Nintendo Switch Digital Download

I believe Netflix and Spotify allow download of music and movies on their subscribers' devices. I'm not sure because I don't subscribe to them. I do have Spotify but I'm not a premium subscriber. That's why if both of these services are offered to the NSO. I'll be more than happy to pay.

There are already reported around 61 Million Nintendo Switch sold worldwide. Imagine, all those customers waiting for something to play or enjoy watching on their gaming system? I certainly enjoy gaming and watching youtube or even listening to music before I sleep at night on my Switch lite.

To think, nobody believed that the Nintendo Switch will be this successful? Well, being portable is one thing but if they come out with multiplayer games like Super Mario Bros. 35 and offering online services like Netflix and Spotify, it's only going to grow bigger!

Nintendo has something good here. They should listen more to their fans (like me). Well, they did manage to get popular pc/console games on their system. There are already tons of indie games available. What's next? Apps. FB, twitter, documents, educational, work, entertainment, etc.

If they have all that, my life as a Nintendo Switch/ lite owner is complete. :)

GPD P2 Max 8.9 Inches Portable Ultrabook

GPD P2 Max 8.9 Inches Portable Ultrabook Mini pc Notebook Laptop UMPC Touch Screen Tablet CPU Intel m3-8100Y GPU HD Graphics 615 WIN10 16GB RAM/512GB ROM, Amber Black

Hey guys,

Quick promo!

I've been eyeing this mini laptop for awhile. The design look slick has a touchpad and the keyboard keys are pretty big too. Obviously, I don't have it, or I'll be testing its capabilities with games and some software.

I've been playing around with Microsoft Visual Code and that's part of the reason why I'm thinking of getting this mini laptop. Where I can quickly try and test out ideas on the go. Being small and light is definitely a plus.

GPD P2 Max 8.9 Inches Portable Ultrabook Mini pc Notebook Laptop UMPC Touch Screen Tablet CPU Intel m3-8100Y GPU HD Graphics 615 WIN10 16GB RAM/512GB ROM, Amber Black

  • Our GPD P2 MAX Configuration: CPU-Intel Core m3-8100Y, GPU-intel HD Graphics 615,Up to 900Mhz,RAM/ROM: 16GB LPDDR3/512GB M.2 NVMe SSD;
  • Fingerprint unlock Standard "QWERTY" keyboard layout, chocolate island style. Complete touch tablet function, moving cursor, Scroll Area, mouse left-hand, and right-hand button mouse supported. Via actual measurement, an adult male feels free and unconstrained when typing with two hands;
  • 8.9 Inches 2.5K fully fitted retina screen, H-IPS 2560x1600 resolution, 340ppi, supporting 10-point touch control and stylus input, has 100% sRGB gamut coverage and 178 degrees of wide viewing angle.
  • Liquid cooling radiating pipe + fan, PC level cooling solution, with full speed and never reducing the frequency,
  • With only a size of iPad mini 4 and only 650g net weight, about 50% lighter than the mainstream Ultrabook.9200mAh,35Wh high-capacity polymer lithium battery.
The portability is what really entices me to the product. Granted, there are definitely more powerful laptops with much bigger screen sizes. But, size isn't everything, right? It's also not a powerful gaming laptop but with 615 HD graphics, it's not a slouch either.

Sure, it does have its, limitation. That's why it depends on why you'll want to get this. For me, it's definitely the size although, it's actually much bigger than a 7-inch mini laptop. Like, I've said, I'm interested in using it for self-study.

You can read up on the Intel m3-8100Y here (Wikipedia).

In any case, if you're looking for just some light usage these mini laptops sure are getting more powerful and affordable. I'm still hoping there'll be a mini gaming laptop with the latest CPU and GPU instead of the low-end version. Like the Asus ROG G14. Now, that'll be pretty interesting.

Microsoft Visual Studio Code - Device simulator Express - Microbit

micro:bit BBC2546862 go, Original Version

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I think it was almost 2 years ago that I bought the micro:bit and played around with it. I was already having fun with my Raspberry Pi back then. That's also when I started to learn coding with Python. Learning Python got me to the road in learning to code.

I don't play much with either the Raspberry pi or the microbit nowadays. But, I still dabble with python. A week ago, I downloaded Microsoft Visual Studio code because you can also use the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) in it.

While playing around with python in the VSC, I thought maybe, there's a microbit extension too. That's where I found the Device Simulator Express. The ability to code for microbit and test it on the simulator. I'm really loving Visual studio code now.

You can find and download the DSE from inside the VSC extensions marketplace. For kids and beginner to microbit and coding, they can go to microbit.org. Microbit has visual coding programming software that you can use online to code for your microbit.

It is really fun to learn to code but what is more, fun is when you can make something move, light up or make sounds. That's what I like about the raspberry pi. Then, when the cheap or free BBC Microbit comes along, it's another new toy for me to play with.

Obviously, I'm not a kid. But, the kid in me likes playing with all these modern toys. This is actually great for adults too. Especially, us that has always wanted to learn but didn't get the chance. I would even say, it's great to let old folks get their brain working playing with coding and robots.

Keywishbot Micro bit Starter Kit, Electronic microbit Starter Kit for BBC Micro:bit with 33 Lesson Tutorial

I can see already see an interesting future even at this time of the covid-19 pandemic. I just read on Twitter that two pilots saw a man in a jetpack flying around 3k feet. They're investigating. And, a couple of months back Robo dog send to monitor people on social distancing.

In Japan, the robot waiter is sending them their ordered food. I remember seeing a documentary on exos-skeleton. I can bet you the military would be using Robo soldiers soon. I think I saw a youtube promo on that subject. But, I didn't watch it.

The kids in the future would be so well-versed in AI, robotics, and coding, they can practically design and create anything. That's actually what the young in China are doing now. They're growing exponentially. Just look at the markets right now. Most of the products are from China!

China have gone to the moon and they're planning to go to Mars. There's an old saying, learn even if you have to go to China. Was it a prophecy or an acknowledgment of how good the Chinese are or is? People used to look to the west and also Japan didn't they? What happened?

Well, the BBC microbit and Raspberry Pi is a good start for the young, definitely. But, China's young is the one reaping the rewards now. The sleeping dragons is definitely awake now!

Military Tactical Assault Pack Sling Backpack Army Rucksack Bag

hopopower Tactical Sling Bag Pack Military Assault Rucksack Shoulder Bag Backpack Chest Pack Handbag Waterproof for Travel School Hiking Camping Trekking Exploring Fishing Hunting

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I finally found and bought a military tactical sling bag that basically ticks all my checkboxes. I'm basically looking for a crossbody shoulder bag that could carry my Nintendo Switch lite and the accessories.

The big problem is my Razer Kraken gaming headset. It's freaking hogging all the space in most of my sling bag. Some of the bags I bought are too slim and a tight fit. So the only way is to just bring earphones. I don't like using them. They hurt my ears when long usage.

I don't care what kind of earphones in the market right now, but I hate wearing them. And, I don't like poking them into my ears. My preferred listening device is an over-ear headphone. Since I got my Razer Kraken headphone, that's the only one I use when gaming.

I have bought and tried several single shoulder strap bag and this tactical bag is the best. It has 3 pockets outside that I can actually put in my external controller and even the whole of my Switch lite case. That's how big it is.

Since, both my Nintendo Switch lite and external controller can fit in the pockets outside, that leaves me more space inside. My Razer headset will snugly fit at the bottom, and the pockets inside for my 60% keyboard and power bank.

Of course, I don't usually bring my keyboard along, if I'm just going out for a while. I'm just testing out, how much stuff I can actually carry with me with just the sling backpack. And this bag has proven to be much better than others that I have bought.

Nintendo Switch Lite - Zacian and Zamazenta Edition

I might be biased as I'm ex-military but I like the design of the sling bag too. I like how wide the strap is. And, they also include an extra sling if I want to change sides from right to left. Would be cool if they include free carabiners but you can use them to hook to the various straps.

There are various colors available but I chose black. It kinda looks nicer and a little stealth. Oh, there's also a handle at the top for quick carry on the go. If you have an insignia, you can patch it too. I tried putting my old name tag but the velcro is on the wrong side.

Hestia Goods Carrying Case for Nintendo Switch Lite with 2 Pack Screen Protector & 6 Pcs Thumb Grip, 20 Game Cartridges Hard Shell Travel Carrying Switch Lite Pouch Case Console & Accessories, Black

In short, I'm pretty satisfied with this sling bag. Great for my Nintendo Switch lite and accessories. Which is my main reason for getting it? If you're thinking to use it for school or even work, this would be cool too. It will also be great for out at the park or hanging out with friends.
