I've been wanting to get Burnout Paradise Remastered for the Nintendo Switch since it was first announced. I kinda remembered playing this game back when it first came out for PC. Or was it just a demo? Can't really remember. Really, like the game back then.
That's why I was so eager to get it. If it's available for the Nintendo Switch. Well, it was on sale, so I didn't waste time buying the game. I got to try it out last night and it was a blast. Except for the stupid EA server signup. Which, I couldn't get in.
The Burnout franchise races onto Nintendo Switch for the first time ever
Tear up the town from hectic downtown avenues to wild mountain road.
Relive the high-octane stunts and wanton destruction of one of the greatest arcade racers.
Burnout paradise remastered is the ultimate driving playground for you and your friends to play online or on-the-go.
Fully optimized for the Nintendo Switch in 60 FPS.
I must say, the graphics are super nice and the gameplay is smooth. I remember back then playing this kind of game will be a drag to my old Pentium pc. Can't imagine, decades later, I'll be playing this on a small handheld console. And, it's a freaking full game!
And you wonder why I love my Nintendo Switch lite so much? Another great racing game that I'm planning to get is Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered. Recently, I re-download the game on my laptop and played again. Now, I want to play it on my Switch lite.
These are some of the top racing games back then, and it's still fun to play today. What's more, now I can play it on the go, anytime and anywhere. Play the game alone or if you have wifi, against other players online. Personally, I'm not interested in multi-player.
I like to relax and play the game in my own phase. Lost in the paradise city, driving around, breaking stuff, and listening to cool music on the car radio. Ok, not a real car but still it's the world you'll want to be in after a hard day's work.
All these old games really bring back good memories. And, they're actually much better than the cheap or Free-to-play mobile games. The mobile phone technology has really improved but the fact, triple-A game dev is not interested in bringing their game to a mobile phone is pretty jarring.
Frankly, I've been wanting games like Burnout, Dirt, or Need for speed on the mobile phone or mobile console. Instead, they create games that are only 'mobile' quality. Going for the free-to-play formula. Really, what's the use of buying a 'gaming phone' if only the games are for the casual players?
Anyway, I'm still waiting for the Dirt racing and Call of Duty to come to the Nintendo Switch next. Hopefully, the people upstairs will realize their folly and bring the games to the Switch. Dock or on handheld mode, it's very much a capable gaming console for triple-A games!

I love the idea of using a Keyboard and Mouse with my Nintendo Switch or Switch lite. I've said it several times before, Nintendo should let the Switch have Mouse & Keyboard support. There are gamers who like to set up their Nintendo Switch like a desktop, so wouldn't it a plus to have the support?
For one thing, there is already software like SmileBASIC 4 (Nintendo eShop) and FUZE 4 (main site) which includes mouse and keyboard support. Obviously, because it's a learning software for learning to code games. There is a touchscreen keyboard but a physical keyboard is much better to have.
Currently, I'm kind of exasperated that nobody actually thought of designing a keyboard case for a mobile phone and a Nintendo Switch or Switch lite. I'm not sure if there's a market for it, but if you don't do it and test the product who would know?
I don't think it's even hard to make and produce for them as there are already many companies making keyboard cases for tablets and iPad. But, why aren't there any for a mobile phone and even for a Switch? Ok, granted that a keyboard case for a Switch will be kind of weird.
Talking about the keyboard, I found this product, Armor3 "NuType" wired keyboard for Nintendo Switch. I'm wondering why it's not a USB C-type connector. Yes, it's also compatible with other consoles but the Switch connection is using USB C-type. You'll need an adapter for the Switch.
There is also used to be a typing game for the 3DS (2DS). Called Learn With Pokemon: Typing Adventure. It actually comes with its own keyboard. I would really buy a typing game for the Nintendo Switch if it's available. Would be fun to play with my own keyboard or if there's a special physical keyboard edition.
What I really want is a keyboard case that I can install on my phone or Nintendo Switch permanently. Well at least, inside a case that you can attach to a keyboard. So, if you just want to use the phone you can take it off. The same goes with the Nintendo Switch.
For the phone, it'll be easier when you using a keyboard to chat or replying to an email. And, when you're done, you just close it like a laptop. Most big phones are almost 7 inches in size, so I'm pretty sure people don't mind if the keyboard case is a little bit bigger.
Definitely, the keyboard has to be good or why bother? Although, I'm not sure how good it'll be if it's under 7-8 inches in size. There is a lot of design for the tablet and iPad, they can just borrow from that. I like the magnetic type where you can stick to your keyboard case.
They can design a magnetic keyboard case for the Nintendo Switch and mobile phone like my Samsung Note 10+. I can use it with the case or stick it to the keyboard when I want to use it. Of course, I can also permanently stick to the keyboard case or just use it as a stand.
A keyboard case something like the design of the Kibbol detachable keyboard case. Which even has a touchpad. I'm hoping that one day, I can check out my emails, Twitter, or Facebook while I'm on my Nintendo Switch. So, having a keyboard case would be practical.
For now, I'm just happy to occasionally use a keyboard or keyboard case when I'm playing around with SmileBASIC 4. Of course, I can also use it with my tablet and mobile phone. Maybe, who knows we'll have a good keyboard case for mobile and a Nintendo Switch in the future.

Finally, I received my order of the Bunion Corrector. I've talked about ordering it the other day. I'm actually using it right now. It's pretty comfortable because of the pad located on the hinge. A little restrictive but it's okay if you're just wearing it around the house.
I'm a small guy with small feet and I was thinking it won't fit big guys with big feet. Maybe, I'm wrong though as you can adjust it. There's velcro on two sides that you can adjust. For me, it fits nice and cozy. I had to readjust a couple of times before finally getting the correct alignment for my toe.
HINGE BUNION SPLINT: This Hinge Bunion Splint is flexible and bends accordingly with the ball of your foot to enable comfortable movement while properly aligning your toes.
BY DAY OR NIGHT: This Bunion Splint can be worn during your daily activities as well as lying down at night.
REALIGNS TOES CORRECTLY: This Bunion Splint helps fix overlapping toes, hammertoes, hallux valgus, crooked toes, and other foot problems.
QUALITY MATERIAL: Made of high-quality medical-grade material. Soft Bunion Pad comfortably cushions ball-of-foot for easy and pain-free wear.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: PediDoc prides itself on its ability to make customer satisfaction a priority. We are sure you will become one of our very happy customers after trying this product.
Before I ordered it, I asked the seller the one I'm ordering is for the left or right and they say you can use it for either side. Pretty nifty. I'm only buying for my right toe as it's the only one giving me the pain. I read the feedback that the velcro is too short but this seems okay to me.
Maybe, I'm getting a newer version. I read about it somewhere. The good thing is that I can adjust both on the top and below as they both have velcros. You can even take it out and insert it to another level so it creates more space for your feet.
Of course, this is not the only Bunion Corrector that I'm looking at. As I'm not sure if this will work to straighten up my toe or how long it will last. Also, I think for a certain time when maybe you're working or going out, you might want to wear a different type.
Frankly, I haven't worn a shoe for a long time. I wear Crocs when I go out most of the time. Maybe, also that's why my feet didn't hurt so much anymore. It's kinda funny that now I realized how useful wearing crocs is.
Well, it's been an hour or two since I started wearing the Bunion Corrector. I didn't dare pull it too tight. One because it just took me 3 days to finally able to walk without pain again and I'm easing into wearing this. I really want to see if this works.
Imagine all these years of tough training in the military, running, and climbing. Walking for miles up and down the hill and through dense or thick jungles. I remember having to put in medicated oil and massage my legs and toe joint every time I'm back in camp.
Take a look at my Bunion toe pics below. Excuse my ugly feet. I'm hoping to compare the pics, later on, to see if there's any difference. The important thing for me is that I won't have to feel the sensation of the pain again.
Fit in nice and cozy. Thanks to the padding.
Flexible hinge. But, I don't really move my toe much.
Like I said, excuse my ugly feet. But, you can see my right toe is misaligned from the center. I always feel pain in the joint. I didn't know it was called Bunion. I thought it was only me. Turn out, a lot of people are having the same problem.
Maybe, I'll post about it again if there's any improvement. See you guys later then!

Is GPD WIN MAX the ultimate portable mini gaming laptop? To me, the answer is, Yes!
Although, I think they could make it better. Don't get me wrong, it's actually already pretty good. I've seen videos of people playing Doom and Witcher on this 8-inch mini laptop. I would really love to download some of my favorite STEAM games like DIRT 2 and play them on this laptop.
Of course, the added bonus is that you have an integrated controller on the laptop itself. I've heard that the control is pretty good with rumble effects and clicky thumbstick. Just hope that the controller is easy to repair when it's faulty.
Our GPD Win Max's CPU: Intel Core i5-1035G7, 4 Cores/8 Threads, Base Frequency 1.20 GHz Max Turbo Frequency Up to 3.7Ghz. Graphics: Intel Iris Plus 940,Up to 1.05 GHz, DirectX 12 OpenGL 4.5.
Our GPD Win Max is Equipped with 3×5000mAh large-capacity and high-density polymer lithium batteries; About 10-14 hours of battery life, It should depend on the actual working conditions.

8 inches H-IPS Technology touchscreen, Resolution: 1280 x 800. RAM/ROM: 16GB/512GB. Only 829 g, Easy to Take In Your Pocket On the GO !!
There's a video showing some kind of problem with the keyboard. Don't really understand what the problem is but I hope they solve it. The keyboard is part of the reason I like it more than the GPD WIN 2. Yes, you definitely buy the GPD WIN MAX for gaming but it's also a laptop with good specs.
Talking about specs, that's another area I hope they improve or change on. Not sure why they haven't tried AMD Ryzen and Radeon Vega integrated mobile graphics. There's a product called AYA NEO that's built with AMD Ryzen 5 and Vega 5.
Frankly, I don't want another Nintendo Switch clone product. That's what AYA NEO or the GPD WIN 3 is. I'll rather stick with my favorite Nintendo Switch lite. Which I use for gaming and watching youtube videos at night.
One day, hopefully, they'll have the kind of specs you find in a gaming laptop like the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14. Is it possible? Why not. The technology is getting better and faster. But, they have to solve the heating problem.
Asus says they have the new liquid metal cooling system. So, that might also work for the GPD WIN MAX type of design. An RBG keyboard and LED lighted controller would also be cool. Especially, if you play in the dark.
I was thinking if I should just get the One Netbook One Mix 3 Pro which has a 'normal' laptop design but, the GPD WIN MAX integrated controller is actually kinda useful if you don't want the hassle of having to bring along a controller when you're out and about.
Imagine if you're on a train or a bus, wouldn't it much easier to pop out the GPD WIN MAX and start playing? You don't have to put the laptop on your lap, pair it and hold a controller to play. There are some situations having an integrated controller would be pretty nifty.
Last but not least, I hope they change the screen to a rotating type. So that I can use it as a tablet. Will be better to watch movies or youtube. If you the type to write notes or an artist, the ability will be a plus. And another thing is where's the webcam?
People nowadays do a lot of video-calling and even live streaming. So, instead of having to buy a webcam, just add an integrated front camera. Definitely, if the GPD WIN MAX has all of these, it'll definitely be my new ultimate portable mini gaming laptop!

I think I've found my new favorite 7 Inch portable gaming laptop. Actually, its screen is an 8-inch H-IPS touchscreen. Which is actually a plus. But, what's more, intriguing is that it has an integrated gaming controller. Just like my Nintendo Switch lite albeit a little weird and awkward looking.
Frankly, I've been thinking if it's much better to get the latest One Netbook One Mix 3 PRO. This thing can also possibly play any triple-A games too. Also, it looks more like a normal laptop than the GPD WIN MAX. The difference is, of course, you'll need to bring along an external controller.
Our GPD Win Max's CPU: Intel Core i5-1035G7, 4 Cores/8 Threads, Base Frequency 1.20 GHz Max Turbo Frequency Up to 3.7Ghz. Graphics: Intel Iris Plus 940,Up to 1.05 GHz, DirectX 12 OpenGL 4.5.

There is actually a GPD WIN 3 and an AYA NEO which has more of a Nintendo Switch design. They're not ready for the market yet. And of course, there's the OneGx1 pro-7-inch gaming laptop. A new version has a Tiger lake (Wikipedia) mobile processor that is much more powerful.
I've been wondering why there isn't any AMD Ryzen processor or GPU version? I look at some of the available 7-inch laptops and compared them with my HP AMD Ryzen 7 with Radeon Rx Vega 10 and they're not really that far off. I'm pretty sure they can fit it into the 7-8 inch mini laptop.
The AYA NEO is actually using an AMD Ryzen 5 processor with Radeon 5. So, I'm pretty sure they can bump it up the same as my HP 15.6 Inch laptop. Which as I've stated above have a Ryzen 7 and Radeon 10. It's still not as good as my favorite Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 but, they're definitely getting closer.
There are certain things that I would like the GPD WIN MAX to change or maybe improve. One thing is that I want a rotating touch screen. So that I can use it as a tablet. Useful, when I just want to watch youtube or movies. The second is that I'm pretty sure they can make it much thinner and lighter like the One Mix 3 Pro.
A little something like the One Netbook A1 Engineer PC design. One reason I like the GPD WIN MAX compared to the GPD WIN 3 or AYA NEO is that the WIN MAX has a better keyboard. I don't want another Nintendo Switch clone. I want something not just for gaming but used as a portable computer too.
Also, a webcam would be nice. Nowadays, because of the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of people are into video-calling. I myself like to video-call my nephew while on my laptop. It's actually more fun to be able to see and talk to each other.
A good camera might also be useful for live streaming or taking and editing videos. Like I say, these mini laptops are not just for gaming. The fact they have become more powerful means you can do more than just watching youtube or checking emails.
I'm really excited about the future of the 7-inch mini (gaming) laptop. Definitely gone are the days of a bulky gaming laptop that also cost a bomb. Now, if only these companies would like to sponsor and send me one of these mini laptops. :p

I was wondering what to blog about today and then, I received a question on one of my youtube videos. I actually received a lot of questions on products that I do unboxing or certain things that I do or test. These damn companies need to pay me for promoting their products. It will actually help me financially. Especially, those copyrights nazis.
Anyway, the guy asked me if it's true they can play games on the Nintendo Switch with a mouse and keyboard. I'm like, didn't you watch my video? In that video, I was playing Elder Scrolls, Blades with yes, a mouse, and a one-hand keyboard. Maybe, he didn't watch the part where I showed my setup which includes a game console mouse and keyboard converter.
He did say, he had asked others about it. And everyone said you can't. Well, it's kinda correct. If you plug in your mouse and keyboard to a Nintendo Switch or Switch lite, you can't use it to control the menu or play any games with it. Which kinda sucks.
Nintendo should let their console be mouse and keyboard friendly. Some gamers like to set up their console like desktop computers. That's why I always give feedback to them about having apps and not just games. Imagine being able to check out Facebook or Twitter with a mouse and keyboard on your Nintendo Switch attach to a monitor?
One thing to note is that if you have a Nintendo Switch lite, you'll need to buy a USB C adapter. Especially, with one that you can also charge your Switch with. If you have the main Nintendo Switch, you can just plug it into the docking station USB port.
Once you're all set up you can control the menu and play any games with a mouse and keyboard. Get a one-hand keyboard or a full gaming keyboard. The converter usually already has it pre-set for you to play FPS or RPG games. You can even remap the buttons. But, I can't seem to make it work.
If you're the type who likes to play games with a mouse and keyboard then try it out for the Nintendo Switch too. It's pretty fun. The good thing about the converter is that you can also use it to play on other gaming consoles like the Xbox or PS4 and even on your android devices.
You'll have to read the descriptions of the product to make sure that it'll work for the latest Xbox X series or PS5. As some of the 'older' gen doesn't work on them. Some of them also don't work for Apple products. So, make sure you read them, especially the instructions before you make the purchased.
So far, I'm having a blast playing Nintendo Switch games with a mouse and keyboard. I even tried playing Asphalt 9 Legends with it. Most people say it's best for playing the FPS shooter game. You don't even have to remap anything. The standard movement keyboard keys are the usual WASD.
Although, if you have extra keys on your mouse they might not work. That's where maybe you can remap the mouse buttons. But, I haven't tried it out myself. On some games, like the latest Torchlight III, the mouse only allows me to have a near or far view.
Oh, another thing is that if you have a cable controller, you can also use it. Just plug it in and use it. I tried using my old Microsoft Xbox controller for pc and it also works with the converter. I think you need a controller plugged into the converter to be able to remap your keyboard. I wasn't able to remap anything though. Again, read the product instruction before you purchased anything.
In short, yes you can play Nintendo Switch games with a keyboard and mouse!
I remember around 14 years ago, I bought my first 7-inch mini laptop. It was the Eee Pc from Asus. I ordered it straight from Taiwan. I think, it took around 2 weeks or probably a month to finally delivered to me. It doesn't exist anymore. They should make one with the latest specs.
I forget where I first heard about it but it was pretty popular back then. It came with a version of the Linux distro. But, I think I've tried installed Ubuntu and even Windows 7. It was a low-end laptop but it was fun to try out stuff on it.
Nowadays, there are many cool and powerful 7-inch mini laptops. Which already comes with the latest Microsoft Windows 10. Of course, to run Windows 10 and other software smoothly without lags, you'll need decent specs. The problem is the 7-inch size is much smaller than any other laptops.
The good thing is that, with new tech and design, you can actually make a 7-inch laptop that can run as well as any other bigger laptop out there. I've talked about how light and small the laptop motherboard are today. I discovered that on this HP laptop which I'm using right now when I opened it up.
There is one 7-inch gaming laptop that can surprisingly play many triple-A games. The CPU and GPU aren't really like the latest high-end gaming laptop but it's still amazing. That will really be my ultimate 7-inch gaming laptop. And, I want it!
The 7-inch gaming laptop I'm talking about is the One Netbook OneGx1. They have a new version with a cool black color. It has 16GB Ram and 1TB of storage. How bout that for a 7-inch laptop? And, it supposedly comes with an Intel Iris Xe graphics card. You can read about the card at PC Mag here.
Personally, I'll like them to change the design a bit though. How bout a different set of colors? Also, make it a 2-in-1 folding laptop. So, you can use it as a tablet. It's definitely much easier to hold when you just need the screen. It already has a touchscreen
For your info, the controller doesn't come with the laptop. It's sold separately. Kinda weird they decide to sell it that way. But, I was thinking of maybe using the tablet retractable Bluetooth controller and use it on the laptop. It's not just for this laptop, you can use it for other 7-inch laptops too.
I just found out about the One Netbook One Mix 3 pro and I think this is definitely one of the best 7-inch mini laptops. Just look at the Intel 10th i7-10510Y CPU, with 16G Ram and 512GB SSD. It also has Intel UHD graphics. Wish, it has the latest Intel Iris XE integrated graphics instead.
The ram is also actually a DDR3 and not DDR4. But, the specs are definitely better than my 10 inches 3-year-old N4200 Intel Celeron laptop. It likes to freeze for a few secs once in awhile. I'll have to wait before able to use the mouse again. I upgraded from 4GB of ram to 8GB.
I think having a 16GB of ram will make things a little smoother. The HP laptop that I'm using right now only has an 8GB DDR4 ram. For basic usage, it doesn't have any problem. But, sometimes things do get a little weird. I'll be upgrading to 16GB once I have the dough.
The best thing about a 7-inch laptop is the portability. If you fit in a retractable Bluetooth controller, it'll become just like a Nintendo Switch. The Switch is probably the best portable gaming console right now. Simply because you can play triple-A games and of course Nintendo games and other indies.
The mobile phone can also become a laptop substitute. If only someone creates a keyboard case for mobile. And, I don't mean those folding keyboard cases. I want a good keyboard case that fits your phone permanently. I can just open and fold it if I want to use as a phone and open it half-way if I want to use it as a laptop. For me, I prefer typing on a real keyboard rather than a touchscreen keyboard.
When at home I like linking my phone to my computer. If I'm communicating on Whatsapp, it's much easier and faster typing on a real keyboard. Also, fewer mistakes. Of course, if you're walking while outside, I can just use the touchscreen. But, if I can sit down somewhere, typing is much better.
If I have a 7-inch laptop, I can link my mobile phone to it and use the keyboard to reply to Whatsapp or other messaging apps. If you have the latest Samsung Phone, you can also turn your laptop into an Android device with Samsung Dex. So, it's not a bad idea to have a small portable laptop for work and play. Maybe, one day, I'll find my ultimate 7-inch mini gaming laptop!

First off, I'm not a doctor. My blog is also actually a Games & Tech blog. But, sometimes, I post about some of my health problems here. Kinda like seeing a therapist. It's always good to share your problem with others. Of course, if you're interested to listen or rather read.
The thing is, by sharing, you might actually help others that are having the same problem. I've posted about my constant leg cramps at night before. I would have bad leg cramps until the wee hour of the morning and couldn't sleep. That's when I decided to ask a pharmacist if there's anything that could help.
The lady pharmacist thought about it for a while and then finally recommend me to try out the Calcium Magnesium and Zinc vitamins. I thought what the heck and decided to try it out. Lo and behold, it actually works. Although, I didn't follow her exact instructions on how and when to eat.
I found out myself that I should eat one at night before I sleep and ONLY when I started to get cramps. If it didn't stop the cramp the first time around, I'll then take another and normally up to three. That's when it's really bad.
Normally, it'll work with just one pill. The weird thing is that it actually makes me feel sleepy. So, I'll fall asleep after taking them. Calcium, Magnesium, and Zinc which are also good for your bones also solve my sleeping problem. Read up on my old post about my cramps here.
Anyway, recently I had a problem with my right toe or Bunion to be exact, and couldn't walk without feeling pain for 3 days. I still feel a bit of the sensation of pain but, at least I can walk again. After that, I started to feel pain in my left knee again. So, I had to go through a bloody week of pain.
I discovered I had the toe problem since I was a schoolboy. It will come and go but it got worse when I was enlisted in the military. I always thought that I was born with defects. It was only recently that I found out that the name for it was Bunion and a lot of people have this same problem.
The recent pain I experience makes me decide to try out several ways to ease the pain without surgery. One of the videos on surgery by Dr. Desai is the one I'm sharing above in this blog post. You might want to watch it before deciding if you really want an expensive surgery.
I actually just ordered this type of Bunion Corrector and can't wait to try it out. There are some good and bad reviews but to me, you need to try it out yourself. It may work for you but not for others. I might actually want to try out several of these Bunion correctors.
When I did research on some of the designs, you have to see how it gonna suits your lifestyle. I don't think some of them can be worn or used for working. Maybe, you can get the socks type with a toe separator. How bout the Gel pad with toe brace cushion.
When I'm not working, I don't wear shoes. I wore crocs. Now, I realized after I stop wearing shoes and start wearing crocs, I seldom feel toe pain. Tight shoes will of course make your Bunion much worse. The good thing is that there are gel pads and silicone toe separators.
The Gel Toe Separators are pretty nifty since you can wear them with a shoe. So, you can wear it for work and maybe lessen the pain. I wouldn't know, I've never tried it. If google exists like 40 years earlier, I would have discovered what a Bunion is.
If I have known earlier about the Bunion problem, I would have informed the military medical officer during my medical check-up. Or when the pain got worse, usually after training. One of my buddies back then told me that, it might get worse physically when I'm old.
Of course, he was right. This is what happens when you ignore the pain thinking it will just go away. Now, I have to find a way not to make it much worse or I might have no choice but to go for surgery. Like I say, it's not a simple process. And like some people say, surgery might actually make it worse!
Surgery is always a last resort. I managed not to have surgery because of my minor slip disc, my fck up knees, broken nose, and my right wrist tendonitis. My right wrist seems ok now. I found out, I had it when I went to visit the local clinic. I also discovered my nose was broken after being referred to a nose specialist. Yup, that is funny. It's a long story. Lol.
