Okay, maybe it's kinda weird to declare your love for a vacuum cleaner. The thing is since I bought myself a more lightweight and portable vacuum stick, it got a little easier and more fun to vacuum and clean your house.

I didn't get the vacuum stick because my old vacuum was faulty. I thought I'll try something new and actually kinda interesting. I have never used a vacuum stick and the first time I saw it, I actually wanted one. It looks modern and cool.

I was actually wondering how powerful it is and where's the vacuum motor? Well, it's actually at the handle. It's a tad heavy and you have to be careful of the heat. If you have used a power drill before, it felt something like that.

You can hold the vacuum stick with one hand or two hands (for support). Since it's a stick, you can basically vacuum anywhere. You can vacuum your walls, windows, and curtains. Mine comes with a brush and a short extender.

I like that you can just keep it anywhere without needing much space. It's just like a broom size. When you use the vacuum, you don't have to keep pushing or pulling the vacuum. If you buy a cordless vacuum you don't have to worry about the cable.

I'm not really sure how long a cordless vacuum can last. Mine is the cable type. Still, a bit of hassle to find a power socket and looking out for the plug being accidentally pulled out. Other than that, it's pretty easy to use. If you're vacuuming under a table or chair, just twist the head sideways.

I use a simple trick to save my vacuum filter. I'll cut into half my disposable dust wiper (dry) and tie it with a rubber band around the filter. So, when I vacuum, all the dirt and dust will stick to the wiper. My filter won't be so dirty and easier to clean.

The suction of my vacuum stick is pretty strong. Even when I covered the filter, it still works without any problem. You can try that if you want to. One thing I'm not sure about is where to get the new filter if it's all worn off. If the size is the same as other types of vacuum stick design.

Well, maybe I don't need to use a filter and just use a dry dust wiper wrap around the suction hole inside the housing. It's actually easy to take apart the whole filter housing. You can take it apart and wash the whole housing and dry them out after using it. 

That's another reason why I like the new type of Vacuum stick. The old type of vacuums is pretty big and they use big filter bags. Also, a big hassle to clean up. It's still noisy though. And since the motor is at the holder, the sound will be much louder.

The picture above is my Vacuum stick. You can see through the filter housing, I already wrap a new dry-type wiper around the filter. I can easily take out the whole housing and wash everything. It's pretty light and I can even vacuum my dusty walls and window curtains. Pretty nifty.

It actually looks like a laser gun. That's partly why I love it. I'm a guy, what you expect? Take out the stick and you can vacuum your chairs and cushions. You can also use it to vacuum your cars. If your car inside a garage you can use the power socket if not just get a cordless type.

As a whole, I'm pretty satisfied with my portable vacuum stick. My own experience is that it's much better than using the old type of vacuum design. This is also great for those office buildings as there'll be no more dragging or pushing and getting stuck while vacuuming. Awesome!
