rain rain go away come again another day | iPhone 13 #rain #rainsounds #rainyday

(All links will open up in a new tab.)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

The other day, I saw a guy on YouTube talking about using an iPhone as their main camera, instead of buying expensive cameras and lenses for photography and videography. I commented that I've been using several iterations of the iPhone to do that!

I've talked about it on my blog years ago. Since I couldn't afford a camera, using my iPhone was the next best thing. Sometimes, I'd even use my iPad. In fact, using the iPad is much better as the screen is much bigger for editing.

I discovered earlier that the iPhone camera is quite good. I use it mostly for my unboxing videos. I prefer bigger storage spaces. The most important thing was the free editing app available on the iPhone, the iMovie. I love the iMovie app.

Sure, there are many other good so-called 'free' apps. But, they sometimes come with watermarks and are worse now with the trial version. Which really sucks. They used to be totally free. I used to enjoy using the GoPro free app. Now, I don't use them.

I also have a Samsung Android phone. Sometimes, I use it for photography and videography. Now, you can use Google or Samsung free video editing software. They're good, too, and free. But, iMovie is still the main driver for me.

In the early days, my iPhone used to stop working in the middle of my editing like my computer constantly froze. I'd have to redo it again unless I had saved it. It was really exasperating. My computer wasn't the high-end type.

I didn't know it back then but if you want to do heavy video editing, you should get a high-end gaming PC or laptop. They usually offer the best CPU and GPU. The minimum is 16GB of Rams. I'm using my gaming PC right now. That is my main daily driver.

My PC seldom hangs when I use it for video editing. It has 16GB of RAM and has it for over 5 years. Think of upgrading to the latest available. I don't use it for video editing now as I'm running out of storage. Currently, I'm using my Apple Macbook Pro M1 Pro.

The Apple MacBook is good. But, it's damn expensive. I took a plunge as I wanted a good laptop for video editing. As always, it has the iMovie for video editing. That's one of the reasons I decided to get a Mac. I have the 16GB version but if I had the extra dough, I would have chosen with more rams.

The MacBook Pro laptop was useful when I brought it along on vacation. I edited my photos and videos when we returned to our Airbnb house. I didn't have to wait to return home. Check out these videos which I took using my Nikon Zfc and edited on my Mac.

I've been making videos for my YouTube channel for years. There are over 1000 videos. I wasn't into YouTube in the early days. I just upload random stuff. It was only later on that I began to do unboxing videos and learn about video editing etc.

Oh yes, the rain has finally stopped!

What do you guys think?

NIKON Z8| CINEMATIC SHORT | EVENING SUN #nikonz8 #eveningsun #davinciresolve19

(All links will open up in a new tab.)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I've been learning to use my Nikon Z8 camera in the past few days. At the same time, I've decided to download the latest Davinci Resolve from their main website. It's totally Free. And, it has all these tools and effects you can use to enhance your videos.

Though free, there are tons of free effects and color management, and it also looks professional. Luckily, I've used different video editing software and learned pretty quickly. Okay, they also have a good help manual and tutorials that you can use.

I'm also starting to take videos using Raw and N-Log settings. The problem is I have to take videos without color. It should be taken with the correct exposure too. Check out the video above edited with Davinci Resolve. There's also a #short version here

If you watched my video on my YouTube channel, make sure you like, share & subscribe. I would also like some feedback on it. Appreciate some comments or tips to improve it. I have no idea if people like the videos I have taken and edited using my other camera like the Nikon P950 or Nikon Zfc.

Positive feedback will provide the inspiration to make more videos. I've been trying cinematic videos and learning methods that I could use. Currently, I prefer making short videos. Not, the #short videos but videos that are only a few minutes long.

You can check out some of these short cinematic videos on YouTube and they're pretty good. I like watching short videos from Japanese and Japanese cultures. I also learned that sometimes, the camera doesn't matter. You'll still need to have good eyes to make good videos.

The most important thing is to love what you're doing. And, I love it. I love fiddling with my Nikon Z8, I like taking photos and now loving taking and editing videos. It doesn't matter what kind of pictures or videos. Just do what you want.

I like that I'm learning and doing new things in my life. Especially, at the age I'm in right now. Just because you're getting older doesn't mean it's time to retire. You can still learn new things. You can still do new things. It ain't over, till the fat lady sings!

I just remembered that I bought a new Camera Field Monitor yesterday from Feelworld. It fits my budget and it'll be useful. It includes many luts that I can see while filming. You can also use your favorite luts uploaded via the SD Card slot.

The luts while filming would make it much easier to see and edit later if you need to. It beats looking at the plain video on your camera's small screen. I'm still thinking if I should use a gimbal or a camera cage. It would be an easy decision if not for both prices being expensive. Lol!

The pic above was taken with my Nikon Z8. I had just put on a CPL lens. The lens supposedly protects your main lens from the sun. Helps to make my picture look better too, I believe. As usual, I shoot jpegs. I'm just lazy. What can I say?

Microsoft windows 11 Home edition on my HP AMD Ryzen 7 8GB Ram

HP Newest 17 Laptop Notebook, 17.3" FHD Anti-Glare Display, AMD Ryzen 7 5700U (> i7-1065G7), 12GB RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD, Webcam, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, HDMI, Windows 10 Home, KKE Mousepad

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I always thought that my HP AMD Ryzen 7 laptop with 8GB ram is good enough to install the latest Microsoft Windows 11. But, at first, I couldn't install it. Even though, I'm a windows insider. Most people can't too. I read that there are whole new specs that you need to adhere to.

I'm actually a little surprised and a little excited that when I check out my updates on my laptop, haven't been using it for a while, Windows 11 is ready to be installed. And, it didn't really take that long to install. Maybe, around half an hour.

My HP support software also automatically, updates the BIOS needed with the new Windows 11. Part of the reason, I like the HP laptop. As it's using AMD Radeon graphics, it also comes with the Radeon software. Which you can use to set the graphics for every game before you play.

I haven't tried playing any games yet. So, I'm not sure how smooth it'll be under Microsoft Windows 11. The version it states that I have is the Windows 11 Home edition. You'll know immediately when the aesthetics look different from Windows 10.

HP - OMEN Gaming 15.6" Laptop - AMD Ryzen 7 - 8GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti - 512GB SSD - Mica Silver

I must say, I really like the new clean design. Even the icons look nice and modern. Everything can be quickly accessed in one place. For example, I go into settings quite often, and having to look for an update section is a hassle. I'll always miss it.

In the new design, I can quickly click on the System and check out the latest windows updates. Pretty nifty. Now, you can even set the icons on the taskbar to the center but, I'm too used to it being set to the left. So, I left it there (get it?). I don't want everything to be shown to my face. Lol :p

HP 15.6 Inch FHD Touchscreen Laptop, AMD Ryzen 7 4700U (8-Core) Processor, 16GB, 512GB, Backlit Keyboard, 15-eh0015cl

On my HP laptop, everything is pretty well organized and optimized. I still haven't upgraded my 8GB Ram to 16GB. So, to see everything runs smoothly is a little assuring. Of course, I haven't test running heavy load yet. I always have a little problem when doing video editing.

I'll try video editing when I have a new photo-video project with my Nikon Coolpix P950. I don't have any plans to go anywhere yet. Been thinking of going to the city, especially for the night shots. Well, it's not as if I'm in a hurry. With the pandemic and all.

Luckily, I only got my HP laptop recently, and it can install the latest Microsoft Windows 11 Home edition. I read on the Microsoft Amazon store page that Windows 11 will be rolling out from now until 2022. You might want to check out if you can upgrade it via the Windows Insider.

You'll have to join their Windows Insider first. It's a way to try out new windows beta updates. It's done automatically, and all you have to do is chose the date and time to restart. I have always been interested in installing the latest Windows since the day, I bought my first PC in the mid-90s.

The tradition continues. Don't forget to check my windows 11 video here.

I recommend my Mom to get Samsung Note 10 plus - She chose AURA WHITE - unboxing

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Plus Factory Unlocked Cell Phone with 256GB (U.S. Warranty), Aura White/ Note10+
Hey guys,

Check it out!

Almost over a year ago on Dec 24th, 2019, to be exact. My mom finally received the delivery of her Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ which I recommended her to get. It was really an upgrade from her Samsung Note 3. She's been using it since 2013, I think.

She is still using the Note 3 though. It's her second phone. using with a pre-paid card. The phone is pretty beat up but still good to use. The problem is the battery dies pretty quickly. I'm not sure if you can replace the battery (quick google research says, you can). Other than that, it's still usable.

Obviously, the Note 10+ is a big upgrade from the Note 3. Now, you can do more with an S Pen, like taking selfies, sending personal messages, coloring games, etc. That's part of the reason, I told my mom to get the Samsung Note 10+.

The Note 10+ has a better camera which she can also use to take better food pictures which she likes to send to me and my sis. The bigger 256GB storage will be more than enough to store all her favorite pictures and videos.

My ex-colleague also bought the same Samsung Galaxy phone Note 10+. Although, I'm not sure which color did they choose. I didn't ask. One day, he called me to confirmed if my phone was the Note 10+. Apparently, his wife had bought for both of them.

I was actually using the Samsung S10+ and loving it before I saw the new Note 10+ with the new S Pen features. I wasn't really into the S Pen before the new one came out with some cool new features. So, it's kind of a new experience for me.

When the iPhone X came out, I didn't like the notch. That's why I bought the S10+ back then. My last iPhone was the iPhone 8+. I had to go through loops to get the phone. Really love it. Especially, the camera and Apple iMovie app.

I've been sticking to the Samsung phone since then. It's pretty much the only brand I trust and be recommending to friends and family members. There are definitely other good brands out there but really depends on your design taste and user experience.

Samsung Electronics Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G | Factory Unlocked Android Cell Phone | 256GB Storage | US Version Smartphone Tablet | 2-in-1 Refined Design, Flex Mode | Mystic Black (SM-F916UZKAXAA)

What I really want though is to try out the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. I've talked about this before but the 2-in-1 phablet is really interesting. The fact that you can use it as a normal phone and then open it up to use as a tablet is really fun and for me useful.

People usually use their phones to take photos and videos. As for me, I like to edit and upload them to my youtube channel. Editing your videos can be a bit challenging with a small screen. Even though it's almost 7-inch size.

Hence, being able to open up the phone to tablet size will definitely make editing a bit easier. Connect your phone to a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and your job will be much easier on the go. No more having to bring a tablet or a laptop. Mobile computing at its best!

Ces 2021 Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Now With S Pen!

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G | Factory Unlocked Android Cell Phone | US Version 5G Smartphone | Pro-Grade Camera, 8K Video, 108MP High Res | 256GB, Phantom Black

Hey guys,

Quick promo!

Personally, I'm waiting for the Samsung Z Fold 3. Not sure, when it will be ready for announcement or out. Probably, in September? Currently, I'm still using my Samsung Note 10+. I love this phone. Besides my iPad pro 10.5, I also use my Note 10+ to take pictures and videos. I can quickly edit my videos using Quik and then immediately upload them on my Youtube Channel. Pretty nifty!

In fact, I like it so much, I recommended my mom to get the Note 10+. She got the white version. It's an upgrade from her old Samsung Note 3. It's one of the reasons why she prefers the Samsung brand. She's been using it for so long, it's the only brand she trusts. Yes, even though there are other brands that are probably as good and even better. One of the important things about the brand is, TRUST!

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G | Factory Unlocked Android Cell Phone | US Version 5G Smartphone | Pro-Grade Camera, 8K Video, 108MP High Res | 256GB, Phantom Black

  • Pro-Grade Camera: Zoom in close, take photos and videos like a pro, and capture incredible share-ready moments with our easy-to-use, multi-lens camera

  • Multiple Ways to Record: Create share-ready videos and GIFs on the spot with multi-cam recording and automatic professional-style effects
  • 100x Zoom: Get amazing clarity with a dual-lens combo of 3x and 10x optical zoom, or go even further with our revolutionary 100x Space Zoom
  • Highest Smartphone Resolution: Crystal clear 108MP allows you to pinch, crop and zoom in on your photos to see tiny, unexpected details, while lightning-fast Laser Focus keeps your focal point clear
  • All Day Intelligent Battery: Intuitively manages your cellphone’s usage to conserve energy, so you can go all day without charging (based on average battery life under typical usage conditions)
  • Power of 5G: Get next-level power for everything you love to do with Galaxy 5G; More sharing, more gaming, more experienced, and never miss a beat

I personally like the Samsung phone because it's got Samsung Dex. Although, I'm not sure if the phone version supports them. I also actually bought the Samsung Note 10+ because of the S Pen. It's one of the interesting things that comes with the phone. I used to own the Samsung S10+, the S Pen is one of the reasons that I switched to the Note series.

Guess what? Now, the Samsung S21 Ultra comes with an S Pen too. So, it's definitely enticing to get to the S series back. Also, they have definitely improved the cameras, and the ability to record various different versions of videos at the same time is pretty interesting for a Youtuber like me. You can also record in 8K. Wow, imagine that on a phone. Mobile computing technology is definitely getting more advance.

Samsung Electronics Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G | Factory Unlocked Android Cell Phone | 256GB Storage | US Version Smartphone Tablet | 2-in-1 Refined Design, Flex Mode | Mystic Black (SM-F916UZKAXAA)

Now, transfer all that technology to the new Samsung Z Fold 3 and I'm sold! Hopefully, it'll be a little cheaper too. This is the kind of phone and technology that probably the pro will love. When I recommended my mom to get the Samsung Note 10+, it's definitely a jump from her Note 3. It's now faster, the battery lasts longer, better screens, and takes great pictures.

My mom uses it to play her favorite android games and take and send food pictures to me and my sister. What I'm trying to say is that technology has it's good and it's bad. Some people say it's bad to let kids play with technology when they're young. The problem is the younger they're used to technology the better they'll be at it. Tech is really the future of mankind.

Nowadays, people are already planning to colonize the Moon and Mars. They're not just talking about it. Technology has to definitely advance faster and we need people that are good at creating new and faster technology to help achieve those dreams. I'm still waiting for somebody to build a spaceship for space exploration. Will it be in my lifetime? Who knows.

What do all these have to do with the Samsung Galaxy S21? Well, you can see for yourself how important it is that we keep improving the technology cause, one day, they'll all be integrated into the world beyond in the future. Doesn't that sound exciting? Also, I'm not sure how good the zoom is but I hope it's good enough for moon watching. If not now, hopefully in the near future. :)

CES 2021 Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra First Hands-on

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G | Factory Unlocked Android Cell Phone | US Version 5G Smartphone | Pro-Grade Camera, 8K Video, 108MP High Res | 256GB, Phantom Black

Hey guys,

Quick promo!

It seems just like yesterday when Samsung introduced its latest S20 series phone. Before that, it was the S10. I've tried both the S10 and S10+. I didn't get the S20 though. But, I changed to using the Note 10+. I wanted to try out the new S Pen. And, I'm definitely loving the Samsung Phone since.

I also like the Samsung Dex, which turns your phone into a desktop computer with its user interface. I'm a blogger and Youtuber so, taking pictures, videos, editing and then the ability to immediately upload them to my Youtube channel are pretty important. Back when I was still using my Pentium Pc, it'll always freeze. But, now using just the phone is a breeze!

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G | Factory Unlocked Android Cell Phone | US Version 5G Smartphone | Pro-Grade Camera, 8K Video, 108MP High Res | 256GB, Phantom Black

  • Pro-Grade Camera: Zoom in close, take photos and videos like a pro, and capture incredible share-ready moments with our easy-to-use, multi-lens camera

Right now, if I weren't interested in the Samsung Folding phone, I might have wanted to upgrade to the S21. Especially, with their latest camera features. With 100x Zoom, can I use it for Moon-Watching? I won't have to buy a camera or a telescope.

I was actually hoping that Samsung would announce the Z Fold 3 at this CES 2021. With better camera specs. I wasn't really interested when they announce the first folding phone but the Z Fold 2 piqued my interest. It's also of course definitely better.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G | Factory Unlocked Android Cell Phone | 256GB Storage | US Version Smartphone Tablet | 2-in-1 Refined Design, Flex Mode | Mystic Bronze

Again, as a Youtuber and blogger, the Z Fold 2 would have been perfect for me. Imagine after taking pictures and videos, I can open it up like a tablet and work on those videos. I can use my Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. Although, like my iPad, I seldom use a mouse.

Hopefully, the Samsung Z Fold 3 would be much lighter, slimmer, and cheaper. This would be perfect for mobile computing. You don't have to lug a tablet or a laptop anymore. Since all you need is your phone in your pocket.

There's a new Exynos 2100 which would be more powerful. So, if the Z Fold 3 comes with it. Whoa, what will happen? You'll be able to game, 5G, take higher quality pictures and videos. Do video editing on the spot, entertainment and so much more. Now, that's what I call mobile computing!

A Better Design and Powerful Apple iPad Mini

Apple iPad Mini (Wi-Fi + Cellular, 256GB) - Silver (Latest Model)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I have an iPad Pro 10.5 inches. Been using it for well over 2 years. Especially, for taking unboxing videos, editing with iMovie, and even creating my own music with Garageband. I'm really satisfied with this product. Although, I'm thinking of upgrading to the latest version.

This got me thinking though. I have always liked small laptops. Especially, for portability's sake. The best mini laptop is around the 7-inch screen size form. Of course, as a gamer, I also want something that's also good for gaming.

Apple iPad Mini (Wi-Fi + Cellular, 256GB) - Silver (Latest Model)

I remembered the Apple iPad Mini and went to check it out. Frankly, I hadn't check for any updates for a long time. When I look at the specs, it actually has the A12 Bionic chip. But the camera is only 8MP. They really need to update the specs.

The camera is pretty important to me because I need it for taking good quality videos for my youtube channel. With latest A14 or even the M1 chip on an iPad mini will totally blow the tablet market away. Normally, I'll use my phone if I'm taking pictures or videos when I'm outside.

New Apple iPad Air (10.9-inch, Wi-Fi, 256GB) - Silver (Latest Model, 4th Generation)

An iPad mini would not make me look awkward if I chose to use it to take pictures or video. So, it's still on the portability side. That's why I want a better camera for the iPad mini. Also with the more powerful laptop-level chip, I can easily and quickly edit it using my favorite video editor, iMovie.

Don't forget that the iPad also comes with the Garageband app. Which is also Free. You can make a piece of simple background music for the video. Only, I'm always having a problem transferring the music file from Garageband to iMovie.

ZAGG Rugged Book - Durable Case and Bluetooth Keyboard for Apple iPad Mini 5 (7.9") - Charcoal

Like I've said, I used my iPad for most of my videos on my Youtube channel. And, a keyboard is useful too. But, they have to be detachable. As I won't be able to put them on my iPad holder on my tripod. There you go, a mini iPad turned into a mini powerful laptop.

They also need to go away with the fingerprint sensor button. Update, with a full-screen touch tablet. Hopefully, there won't be a notch. Apple needs to swallow its pride and go full screen with a punch-hole for the camera.

SteelSeries Nimbus Bluetooth Mobile Gaming Controller - iPhone, iPad, Apple TV - 40+ Hour Battery Life - Mfi Certified - Supports Fortnite Mobile

I bought a game controller for my iPad pro a year or two ago. I don't know what's the deal is with the new Apple gaming offer. I'm not interested in any kind of subscription. I'll rather pay for games that I actually want to buy and play. Especially, without needing internet access.

Game streaming is cool and all that but what if you can't access any wifi while you're out and about? I want my game to be download and installed so I can play it anytime and anywhere. Just like my Nintendo Switch lite. Would even be better if it's triple-A games.

Hopefully, I'll get my wish. Especially, if they can actually fit an M1 Chip inside the iPad mini. And, don't forget that camera Apple. I need a good one for taking videos and pictures. It'll be my perfect portable work, social media, and the entertainment system.

Razer phone steam link PC game streaming skyrim dirt rally gameplay

Razer Phone - 120 Hz Ultra Motion Display - 64GB Memory - 8GB RAM - Dual Camera - Dual Front-Facing Speakers - Gaming Phone - Black

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I had always wanted to try stream my steam games to my mobile phone. Since, I bought my Razer phone, I check out for good streaming software on the playstore but none seem to work. Today, I found out that there was Steam link (beta).

After, I downloaded the software and open it up, it was pretty easy to link to my Steam account on my pc. You'll need a 5ghz wifi connection. I tested game like skyrim, dirt rally and fx3 pinball and they all work fine!

There were no hiccups or any kind of lag. Accept, I'm having problem with the steam streaming sound. Not sure how it work. I think, if I can connect my bluetooth headphone to the pc, then I'll have no problem with the game sound.

This is really fun!

I'm pretty sure, you can download and install steam link on any of your android tablets or set top boxes for steam game streaming. I haven't check if steam link are also available for iOS or Mac OS. I'll then be able to play on my iPad pro!

Check out my video gameplay!

Get a Razer phone via the link below:

Razer Phone - 120 Hz Ultra Motion Display - 64GB Memory - 8GB RAM - Dual Camera - Dual Front-Facing Speakers - Gaming Phone - Black

By the way, I created the music background on my video using the Apple, Garageband. Record and edited the video on my iPad pro using the free iMovie app. I think, the camera quality aren't that bad. And, it uploaded pretty fast to my youtube channel.

Working on the iPad pro 10.5 inch display are at least better than what I'm used to on my iPhone 6 and 7 plus. What you think?

My iPad pro 10.5 are pretty good enough for recording and video editing. It also have Garageband which you can dabble with to create your own music. And, I didn't even need to use my bluetooth keyboard.

Way cool!
