Hey guys,

Check it out!

I always thought that my HP AMD Ryzen 7 laptop with 8GB ram is good enough to install the latest Microsoft Windows 11. But, at first, I couldn't install it. Even though, I'm a windows insider. Most people can't too. I read that there are whole new specs that you need to adhere to.

I'm actually a little surprised and a little excited that when I check out my updates on my laptop, haven't been using it for a while, Windows 11 is ready to be installed. And, it didn't really take that long to install. Maybe, around half an hour.

My HP support software also automatically, updates the BIOS needed with the new Windows 11. Part of the reason, I like the HP laptop. As it's using AMD Radeon graphics, it also comes with the Radeon software. Which you can use to set the graphics for every game before you play.

I haven't tried playing any games yet. So, I'm not sure how smooth it'll be under Microsoft Windows 11. The version it states that I have is the Windows 11 Home edition. You'll know immediately when the aesthetics look different from Windows 10.

I must say, I really like the new clean design. Even the icons look nice and modern. Everything can be quickly accessed in one place. For example, I go into settings quite often, and having to look for an update section is a hassle. I'll always miss it.

In the new design, I can quickly click on the System and check out the latest windows updates. Pretty nifty. Now, you can even set the icons on the taskbar to the center but, I'm too used to it being set to the left. So, I left it there (get it?). I don't want everything to be shown to my face. Lol :p

On my HP laptop, everything is pretty well organized and optimized. I still haven't upgraded my 8GB Ram to 16GB. So, to see everything runs smoothly is a little assuring. Of course, I haven't test running heavy load yet. I always have a little problem when doing video editing.

I'll try video editing when I have a new photo-video project with my Nikon Coolpix P950. I don't have any plans to go anywhere yet. Been thinking of going to the city, especially for the night shots. Well, it's not as if I'm in a hurry. With the pandemic and all.

Luckily, I only got my HP laptop recently, and it can install the latest Microsoft Windows 11 Home edition. I read on the Microsoft Amazon store page that Windows 11 will be rolling out from now until 2022. You might want to check out if you can upgrade it via the Windows Insider.

You'll have to join their Windows Insider first. It's a way to try out new windows beta updates. It's done automatically, and all you have to do is chose the date and time to restart. I have always been interested in installing the latest Windows since the day, I bought my first PC in the mid-90s.

The tradition continues. Don't forget to check my windows 11 video here.
