Nintendo Switch Lite Getting Popular With Over 6 Million Sold!

Nintendo Switch Lite - Zacian and Zamazenta Edition

Hey guys,

Check it out!

The Nintendo Switch is slowly growing in popularity. I remember getting it around June 11, 2017. Go here if you want to read my blog post about it back then. Actually, I bought it on a whim. My nephew read the news about FIFA18 coming to the switch, while I was more intrigued by Skyrim.

Although the games available were limited, I stuck with it. There were already people selling off their switch, back then. The lack of games was jarring. Even then, I still enjoyed playing Zelda Breath of The Wild and Mario Kart.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Nintendo Switch

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Nintendo Switch

I love playing Mario Kart. Still do today. Frankly, I wasn't really sure about the Nintendo Switch when it first came out. When I saw the ads, I was like, meh. Even the Pokemon C.E.O didn't think it will become successful. Of course, everyone was comparing it to the PSP Vita too.

For some reason, PSP Vita failed and Sony pulled the plug. Although, I read that it has already sold around 16 million now. Not bad, even though compared to the combined sales of 55 million for the Nintendo Switch and switch lite.

Nintendo Switch Lite - Zacian and Zamazenta Edition

I recently sold my Nintendo Switch and got myself the Switch lite, Zacian, and Zamazenta special edition. Love the back design. Which, I think is better for me as I seldom docked my switch to play on Tv. Although, I actually loved that ability.

I also already have a Sony Playstation Vita which I got a couple years back. Seldom play on it and bewildered that I can't watch youtube on it anymore. At least, I can still listen to music with it. I was thinking of hacking it but, didn't want to as it still looks new.

Sony PlayStation Vita WiFi

Sony might want to ride the wave of the Nintendo switch popularity and support it again. 16 million sold is not a small change. In fact, it's still a powerful portable gaming console even though, it's been years. A great entertainment gaming system!

Right now, I'm just happy downloading and playing games on my Switch lite. Again, I wish for more popular Tripple AAA games and apps. The switch badly needs a music and video player. VLC was supposed to come to the switch but it's been almost two years?

Nintendo needs to learn from the Apple store. That's where the money at. There are many apps, games, music, tv shows, movies, podcast, etc. Do deals with the music and movie industries and you'll further explode, the eShop.

Nintendo Switch Online 12-Month Individual Membership [Digital Code]

At least, youtube is now available on the switch. Besides playing games, I love watching the news and music clips on it. I even watched a free full movie on it and it's not that bad. Some people might say, they're not interested in watching movies or listening to music on the portable gaming console, but I do. You don't speak for me!

So, c'mon Netflix and Spotify. Come join the Nintendo Switch. In fact, it would be way cool and cheaper if both Netflix and Spotify are offered bundles together with the Nintendo Switch Online membership. Now, that will be awesome and turn the switch into a complete entertainment system. You heard the idea from me here first!

Turn Mini PC Windows 10 Pro Into Entertainment and Retro Gaming Console

Mini PC Windows 10 Pro, Beelink J45 Intel Apollo Lake J4205 Processor 8GB / 512GB M.2 SSD, Supports 2.5'' HDD & SSD/4K/Dual HDMI/Dual WiFi/Gigabit Ethernet/Fan

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I love playing retro games. Although, as a child growing up, I only get to play games at the arcade after school and playing the neighbor gaming console. Frankly, I can't remember much but I do remember getting fed up at Contra and blisters on my thumbs.

My parents were divorced when I was around nine. Together with my mom and little sis, we moved around a lot. We were living in a rented room until finally, we got our own house. Gaming was far from my mind with school and having to join the military.

I got a job as a civil servant and started to learn to use a computer. During breaks, my colleague would play old retro games on their PC which was saved on a diskette. I've always loved the computer since I first saw it in a military trade show when I was a kid.

Sony Playstation 1 COMPLETE System Console PS1 PSX (Renewed)

I got my own computer with Windows 3.1 and later upgrade to windows 95. I continued to learn and play games on my PC. When I got my bonus pay, I spend it all on the new Sony Playstation. I had earlier tried it out at one of my colleague's home. Pretty impressed with the 3D game graphics then.

I actually got the modified version of the PS1. That means I could buy cheap copy games for like 3 for $10. My little nephew loved playing games on it. He would come into my room and asked me if he could play. Sometimes, he'll get stuck and asked me for help. Now, he's all grown up and the one that teaches me to play the latest game. lol.

Anyway, a few years back I discovered RetroArch and how to play retro games on your PC or Raspberry pi. It was like heaven. Now, I can play all the old retro games that I either have played or never got the chance to play before.

Nowadays, retro gaming is the norm. You can buy any retro gaming console that is out there right now. You can also DIY. There are many cheap computers available that you can turn into an entertainment and retro gaming system for your home.

If you're looking for a good computer to turn into an entertainment and retro gaming system, this mini PC windows 10 pro would be great. I especially like the small box size. It won't look out of place beside your big-screen 4K TV.

You can link up the system via Bluetooth to your speakers to listen to your favorite music via Spotify or to your controller to start playing retro games. Remember, this is a windows PC so, you can also download apps like Netflix to watch movies.

Polk Audio Signa S2 Ultra-Slim TV Sound Bar | Works with 4K & HD TVs | Wireless Subwoofer | Includes HDMI & Optical Cables | Bluetooth Enabled, Black

I like to use Kodi for watching movies. The two most important software or apps that I always download is Kodi and Retroarch. If you want to learn how to watch free movies, click here to visit this website. Use Ivacy VPN for Kodi.

A mini windows 10 PC is a really great entertainment and retro gaming system for the living room. And, of course, you can also use it like any other PC. Get a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to check and reply to your emails quickly, watch youtube and surf websites right on your couch.

If you have a Samsung phone like my Note 10+, you can even mirror it via Microsoft your app or Samsung Dex. You'll need an adapter to connect your phone to the TV and be able to share your photos, check phone notifications, play android games and even video call with Whatsapp.

Pretty cool. What you guys think?

When an old PSP 2000 found in the dumpster does it work?

Click here if you're interested to get your own PSP 2000!

Hey guys,

Check it out!

My friend told me, somebody, threw away a couple of old and battered PSP 2000 with a couple of games. All of them didn't have battery accept one. And, most didn't even have any battery covers. He didn't found any charging cable too.

In spite of that, I took it all and tried looking for any old charger that could be used at home. I didn't find any. It was only today, months later that I realized the cable used to power my portable monitor has the same type of pin.

So, I tried charging the one PSP with the battery. It seems to charge for a while and then it stops working. Disappointed, I took a look at the other PSP. This one looks kinda new and light. It was a PSP 2000. I tried swapping the battery although I can't close the cover as it's too big.

When I charge it, it seems to work and the battery looks full. I thought, maybe the other that looks like a first-gen PSP was faulty. I tried pulling off the plug and it went dead. That's when I realized, I could power on the PSP 2000 even without the battery.

I wonder if I could instead use the portable charger to power it. Of course, it can. Now, I have a fully working PSP 2000 with games like Tekken Dark Resurrection, Final Fantasy Tactics and Winning Eleven 9. I wish the original owner had bought some racing games.

Well, how lucky could I be? Decades ago, I didn't buy the PSP 2000 partly because the games were pretty expensive. I know, I could have bought hacked games. But, guess, it wasn't worth it. Anyway, I had my other console games.

Now, years later. I could enjoy playing some pretty good games. I actually have the PSP Vita which I traded for my old Alienware M14x gaming laptop with some guy through the net portal. It came with some games. My laptop was getting old and the guy PS Vita was actually still new. Not a bad bargain I guess.

Anyway, I'm going to enjoy playing some old PSP 2000 game this few days. Get your own PSP 2000 via the links below!

Like they say, old is GOLD!

This gaming console might be old but they're gold to some people. Especially, when they didn't get the chance to buy or play it before. This pretty much reminds me of the old days when my family couldn't afford such gaming consoles.

You either play it in the arcade or some friend house who do have them. Time has changed. So have the gaming world. Now, everyone can play good console-level games on their mobile phone. Although, the Free-to-play, pay to upgrade or watch ads to play really suckz nowadays.

At least, there are still good games available on a real console like the Xbox, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and the gaming PC!

I haven't check out steam for a while so, I didn't know this game was already available. I saw the word occult and pinball, on my Xbox screen and thought I will check it out.

Since I've got an Xbox game pass ( Ultimate 1 Month), I was also able to download the game on my pc too. I'm not sure but I think, the Pc's version graphic is a little better. I notice the ball glowing in the Pc version while on my TV it didn't. In any case, both are still awesome to play!

Ultimate 1 Month

By the way, if you haven't yet subscribed to the Xbox Game pass ultimate, you should. Now, you'll be able to play any game on the Xbox or Pc. Let's face it, most of the time, we're on our pc. But, we also like to play on a big-screen TV too. Especially, when you just want to lay down on your bed and game.

Looking for a good 4K TV for your bedroom?

I once talk to a guy who travels a lot, for work. Suddenly, he said, I think it must be cool to be able to do that. But, he says it's not. It's pretty tiring. I guess he's right. It must be very tiring and bored too with all that waiting and hassles.

That's why I guess, some people are willing to bring along their game console. In fact, on my last holiday, my nephews decided to bring along their own PS4. If they had told me earlier, I would have recommended them to get the GAEMS console case.

Going digital is the ultimate gaming future. Going portable is also the future. In CES 2020, Dell has actually created a demo portable gaming console just like the Nintendo Switch. It actually looks pretty decent. Especially, with their illuminating Alienware logo.

Just think with the Xbox game pass for Pc or Steam you can download all your favorite games on it and play anytime and anywhere. You'll be able to play while traveling on trains, planes or buses to work. Of course, you can already do that with the Switch. But, their PC games are limited.

Razer has actually tried that before but it kinda fails. Maybe, their design wasn't cool enough. Anyway, if Dell or Microsoft decides to go into the portable gaming console. It might expand the portable gaming world and Nintendo won't be the King of portable gaming anymore.

What you guys think?

Will portable gaming be only the domain of Nintendo or can Dell, Razer, and even Microsoft cut into this peculiar market? And, I haven't even talked about Sony Playstation. One thing for sure, they'll have to study the Nintendo portable business strategy.
