Nintendo Switch Still My Favorite Gaming & Entertainment System

Nintendo Switch with Gray Joy‑Con - HAC-001(-01)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Yup! Lately, I've been playing with my Windows 10 Tablet PC, my Powkiddy X18, a portable Android and Retro gaming console which have the same design as my New (old) Nintendo 3DS XL aka NN3DSXL. In the end, I still come back to my Nintendo Switch lite.

The design, form factor, games, and entertainment, ok, mostly watching youtube. It's the best portable console to relax in bed before you sleep. Although, I definitely still want more apps like Facebook, Twitter, and other social media.

Nintendo Switch with Gray Joy‑Con - HAC-001(-01)

Frankly, I don't really check my social media once I'm in bed. Since my Switch lite doesn't have those apps I normally play some games and then watch youtube until I'm ready to sleep. The Nintendo Switch lite is err..pretty light to hold in one hand and with my Razer Kraken gaming headset, great for listening to music too.

I also realized that I have already many games installed on the 512GB MicroSD card. Some, I haven't even played much less finished them. And, I haven't even count the physical cartridges version. Some of them bought it when I had the first version of the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Switch Lite - Zacian and Zamazenta Edition

I've sold my Nintendo Switch and got myself the special edition Zacian and Zamazenta edition. It's definitely a little lighter and smaller. The screen is only around 5.5 Inch but that makes the image a little sharper albeit smaller. I still miss the ability to dock and play on my big screen Tv though.

The thing is, I actually played more on the handheld mode than playing on the TV. I think the main reason is that it's kinda a hassle to dock it, turn on your TV, and play. Whereas, on a handheld mode, you just play. Basically, anywhere and anytime.

Pokkén Tournament Dx + Battle Pack Dlc - Nintendo Switch [Digital Code]

The ease of going to the eShop and buy digital games is definitely a plus. Since I got myself the 512GB MicroSD card, I've been buying games that are mostly on sales. Some of those cheap games are actually mobile games adapted to the Nintendo Switch.

I don't really like mobile games because they're mostly touchscreen control. But, some that do have controller supports are now available on the switch. So games that I won't play on my mobile are now my favorite on my Switch lite. Lol.

PowerA Enhanced Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch - Mario Pop (Only at Amazon)

I can't resist the temptation to buy an external controller though. I even bought a see-through version which looks pretty cool. Check out my unboxing and quick gameplay here. There are definitely many other cool designs available.

The games are definitely the main attraction. Nowadays, there are many latest triple-A PC or console games that you can buy on eShop or retail shops. There are games that I already have for the PC or console but because it's now available for the Switch, I bought it.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury - Nintendo Switch

Nintendo in-house games for their own console are pretty awesome too. One good reason why you'll want to buy a Nintendo Switch or a Switch lite. There are many gaming consoles that tried to emulate the success of the Nintendo Switch but nothing beats playing on the original console.

For the price, its main purpose is only for gaming. But, as I've said, I also use it to watch youtube videos and listening to music too. I don't know why Spotify or even Netflix is still not available on the Switch. It's definitely great for entertainment.

Who cares anyway. The Nintendo Switch has sold millions and even some free-to-play games like Asphalt 9 Legends have a million downloads. To me, the Nintendo Switch/lite is still the best gaming and entertainment system!

2 in 1 Windows 10 Tablet Pc (docking keyboard with handle)

Venturer 10 Inches Intel Celeron N4000 4GB RAM 64GB Storage Touch 2-in-1 Bluetooth WiFi Windows 10 Tablet PC

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I finally received my 2 in 1, Windows 10, Tablet PC. I must say, I'm pretty surprised at how smooth everything is. I only have the 2GB Ram and 64GB Rom for storage. It has Intel HD graphics and Atom processor Z3745D, 1.3 GHz, Quad-Core. Using the 32-bit operating system, x64 based processor.

I have the Acer Spin 1 with Intel N4200 and it sometimes stutters. I even upgrade it to an 8GB ram from the 4GB original. I end up only using it occasionally. I actually bought the tablet PC because I thought of installing Ubuntu on it.

Venturer 10 Inches Intel Celeron N4000 4GB RAM 64GB Storage Touch 2-in-1 Bluetooth WiFi Windows 10 Tablet PC

Now, I'm actually using the Tablet PC to try and finish this blog post. I was doing it halfway on my PC yesterday but couldn't resist dabbling with the tablet. Spend the whole day and night updating, downloading, and even testing Diablo II on it.

Surprisingly, this Windows 10 tablet PC can actually play Diablo II. Yes, it's an old game. But, this tablet only has 2GB of ram. For Windows 10, I always thought you need a minimum of 8GB of ram. Like, I've said, my Acer spin 1 with N4200 will stutter sometimes.

Lenovo Flex 14 2-in-1 Convertible Laptop, 14 Inch FHD Touchscreen Display, AMD Ryzen 5 3500U Processor, 12GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB NVMe SSD, Windows 10, 81SS000DUS, Black, Pen Included

One thing is that once in a while, the keyboard will type out gibberish. Although, I just need to un-dock and dock again for it to work properly again. I haven't got any problem with it right now. The keyboard needs a bit of use too. Feels, kinda small and cramp.

When I check the task manager, everything seems to be on low power usage. The memory is almost 90%. For low-end devices, I prefer using Firefox as it seems to work well. But, it sure does eats a lot of your memory. I also tried Samsung Dex with my Note 10+ and runs pretty smoothly too.

10.1 Inch Windows 10 Tablet 2-in-1 Touchscreen Mini Laptop with Detachable Keyboard/IPS 1280x800 /4GB RAM /32GB ROM/Dual Webcam/Bluetooth 4.2/WiFi/HDMI/Micro SD

It's not all nice and dandy of course. Asphalt 9 Legends load pretty slow and kinda lag a bit. Still playable and the graphics aren't pretty. I love using the included stylus pen to play my favorite adult coloring game. Having a touchscreen also helps to easily and quickly resize certain tricky parts.

The tablet gets a bit heavy when holding for long period. You can play games with touchscreen or gyro control. Oh, I can't install WSL aka Windows Subsystem for Linux on this tablet PC as it doesn't meet the requirements. At least I can use Termux via Samsung Dex or Microsoft, Your Phone app.

2 in 1 Laptop Windows 10 Laptop Computers, Ezbook X1 Full HD Touchscreen Laptop Display 11.6 inch 6GB RAM 128GB ROM

Check out some of the pics I took of my Windows 10 Tablet PC below:

I actually bought this because I like the keyboard design with the handle. Pretty nifty.

Sometimes, you'll have to dock and un-dock the keyboard as it goes weird halfway through typing. Maybe, the connector is loose or whatever.

Simple box design. And, it's a no-brand tablet PC from china. It cost me around US$100+.

The stylus is kinda heavy and there's a trick to using it. I kept pressing it like I would on a pen or pencil.

I can't use WSL but I can use Ubuntu that's installed on my Samsung Note 10+ wireless. Cool!

Lucky for me, this tablet PC can run Samsung Dex without any problem. That is useful for file transfer.

While typing this post, using the keyboard, it keeps coming out with gibberish. A bit of a hassle. When it works, it works well.

The good thing about a tablet PC is that you can use it as a tablet when you don't need a keyboard. Unlike a 2 in 1 laptop which is pretty heavy. One of the reasons I don't use my Acer Spin 1 laptop as a tablet. They'll get heavier the longer you hold them.

This tablet PC has its limitation, mostly specs-wise. But, as long as you use it within that limitation, this affordable device will serve you well. It really surprises me how it can cope as if it has the same specs as my other HP AMD Ryzen 7 laptop.

Last but not least, the battery can only last a couple of hours. Although, I feel it can last longer if I don't open up too many programs. Some of them running in the background. I also feel like this is meant for cheap alternatives Windows 10 laptops for students.

More Free-to-play Games Now Coming to Nintendo Switch?

Nintendo Switch with Neon Blue and Neon Red Joy‑Con - HAC-001(-01)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

The other day, I downloaded some new Free-to-play games like 'Vigor' to my Nintendo Switch lite. I haven't played them yet, but one thing I notice is that more of these kinds of games are definitely coming to the Nintendo Switch.

I have mixed feelings about them because they are originally available on mobile devices. If you have read through my blog post, you'll know I don't really like mobile games because they aren't really a full game. The dev is only interested in milking as much money as possible from their players.

Nintendo Switch with Neon Blue and Neon Red Joy‑Con - HAC-001(-01)

Mobile gaming has changed how Dev created their games. It's all about promoting intangible items to boost your ego. The good thing is that you can start playing games for free. But, get ready for ads to promo other games or items to 'enhance' your gaming experience.

If they had their way, some gamers would prefer using their money to have an advantage over other players. Like better armor or weapons. Actually, if in a real war, of course, every military wants the best weapons available, money can buy. Then again, we have seen examples of how technology is not everything. Eh?

Nintendo Switch™ Fortnite Wildcat Bundle

Don't get me wrong, I personally like playing Asphalt 9 Legends, which is a free-to-play game. I also like some free-to-play fps shooter games like Call of Duty mobile. I did a video compilation gameplay of some games that I'll like to be ported to the Switch. Go watch it!

I'm not interested in spending my money on stupid items that are for 'sale' or whatever. Although, it's pretty enticing to buy them. The good thing is that they're mostly expensive. I'm not paying up to a freaking USD$100 or more for coins or whatever craps.

Nintendo Joy-Con (L/R) - Neon Pink / Neon Green

One of the reasons I don't mind free-to-play or mobile games coming to the Switch is that now I don't have to worry if I can play it with a physical controller. I used to check out the stupid Google play store and try to guess which games have controller support.

I actually feedback to Google to create a section or tell the game dev to put out information if their games have controller support. It's exasperating to download a game only to found out that it doesn't. So, I deleted them. I'm not wasting my phone storage. As some of these games are pretty large.

Xbox Wireless Controller – Night-Ops Camo Special Edition

I like playing some of the mobile games with my Xbox controller. I actually bought the Night-Ops Camo special edition just for playing with my Samsung Note 10+ phone. It's only recently that you can connect your Xbox controller via Bluetooth.

The problem is like I said before, not many mobile games have controller support. Even if it's RPG or FPS. Isn't that funny? I hate the feeling of my thumbs when gaming using a touchscreen. Sometimes, in my excitement, I'll miss the control and end up losing or killed.

Another thing that I hate about some of these free-to-play games is that you need an internet connection to play. There was a time during traveling where I couldn't get any connection and I can't play the freaking game. I got frustrated and deleted it. I delete games more than I play them on my mobile.

Anyway, hoping to see more FPS or RPG games coming to the Nintendo Switch. I truly enjoyed being able to play Minecraft Dungeons and Torchlight III which is a full game on my Nintendo Switch lite. With controller support, I don't mind these Free-to-play format game. The more games the merrier. Just don't expect me to pay.

TRANSFER PICS & VIDEOS FROM NINTENDO SWITCH LITE TO LAPTOP

Nintendo Switch with Gray Joy‑Con - HAC-001(-01)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I was charging my Nintendo Switch lite on my laptop when I remembered that now you can transfer pictures and videos taken on your Switch to your computer. The system update also allows you to transfer to your mobile device. I tried it the other night but doesn't seem to work.

I might try that out again later on. For now, this is pretty nifty. Besides backing up your favorite pictures and videos, you can also edit and share them with others easily while on your computer. Of course, you can already do that via your Switch. This is just an added bonus.

Nintendo Switch with Gray Joy‑Con - HAC-001(-01)

I wish, we can properly record our gameplay though. I don't know when the recording actually starts. There'll be an instance when I wanted to immediately start recording but turn out it only took pictures. Even if it starts recording, it was recording a couple secs late. Kinda frustrating.

They should show an on-screen controller or something to show when we want to start and stop recording. In any case, I always do an external recording with my iPad Pro if I want to record any gameplay. At least, I have full control of the recording process.

Nintendo Switch Lite - Gray

It will be interesting if I can connect my Nintendo Switch lite to my laptop and record gameplay via my Microsoft video recorder. Something like Microsoft Your Phone app, mirroring to your computer or using Samsung Dex.

If there's a good video editing app that you can use to edit on your switch you won't need the hassle of transferring pictures and videos. All you need to do is connect your switch to a monitor or Tv and use it as a computer or mobile phone.

Gaming Keyboard and Mouse and Mouse pad and Gaming Headset, Wired LED RGB Backlight Bundle for PC Gamers and Xbox and PS4 Users - 4 in 1 Edition Hornet RX-250

I don't know about you but I like the idea of using my Nintendo Switch lite like a mobile phone. A mobile computing game console. Even the size of my Samsung Note 10+ is almost the same as my Nintendo Switch lite.

In fact, I actually did a video comparison gameplay of Asphalt 9 Legends gameplay between my Nintendo Switch and Samsung S10+. Both of them play well but I like playing more on my Switch lite because I can play with a physical controller.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ Wi-Fi, Mystic Black - 512GB

I'm not sure if you can do any file transfer to an android tablet from your Nintendo Switch. Since Nintendo says you can transfer to your android mobile phone, I guess you can. I'm also not sure if you can transfer wirelessly or you'll need a cable.

I didn't read the full press release. This is actually the first time, I tried successfully connecting to my laptop. If you have a tablet you might want to try it yourself. You can use the free Quik video editing app to create your gameplay videos.

Nintendo is slowly adding new features and updates to enhance the Nintendo Switch. If they read my feedback, I want to be able to do more with my Switch lite. I'll like to be able to access my social media and have apps on it. Physically, they can't upgrade anything but software-wise they definitely can.

Samsung S10+ Asphalt 9 gameplay Awesome graphics!

Samsung Galaxy S10+ Plus 128GB+8GB RAM SM-G975F/DS Dual Sim 6.4" LTE Factory Unlocked Smartphone International Model No-Warranty (Prism White)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Been playing around with my new phone, s10+ and this is definitely an awesome phone. Probably, the best phone in 2019!?

Just look at that gorgeous big screen. Asphalt 9, are a great game to play. Especially, if you want to check out the graphics on your phone. It got beautiful cars and modern design that simply run smooth on your screen.

I didn't even notice the camera was there at the top left corner. Of course, if you turn it around the other way, the camera will be on the bottom right. Whichever way, you like to hold your phone, you're too focus on playing to notice it.

I didn't like the iphone notch in the middle of the top side. But, my niece said, the same thing. You won't notice it if you're too focus playing games or while using it. Although, to me, it looks better with the camera at the side on the s10 or s10+.

What you think or prefer?

I've set up the phone security to using face recognition, fingerprints and pin. I'm still getting used to using the face recognition. As, I always naturally put my thumb on the phone to slide up the screen. There were some hiccups but nothing major.

I find, charging the phone and the galaxy buds using the charging pad duo a little slow. It took awhile, maybe 3 hours plus to reach 100% full. And, the galaxy buds is still at 80% since yesterday!? Am I, doing it wrong?

Pairing the galaxy buds to the phone was quick and easy. And, the sound are pretty good. I can hear the vocals and bass clearly. If you didn't know (from my other post), I have hearing loss. I can only hear 3% on my left ear and at least 85% on my right ear. I wish, I can use the galaxy buds as my hearing aid.

I paid $600 for my hearing aid, and it sound like someone using a speaker to talk to me. Well, the specialist did say, a better hearing aid will cost more then $1,000. Which include noise cancelling and all that jazz. I end up not using it. Unless, there's special occasions for it. I'm not totally deaf.

Anyway, in my opinion, the s10+, together with the galaxy buds and charging pad are probably the best tech you'll want in 2019. Order it via the links below!
