How to Achieve Your Goals Faster with These Proven Strategies in 2025 and Beyond!

How to Achieve Your Goals Faster with These Proven Strategies

In today’s fast-paced world, achieving goals quickly and effectively is more important than ever. Whether striving to advance your career, improve your health, or grow a business, the right strategies can make all the difference. In this blog post, we’ll explore actionable steps you can take to accomplish your goals faster than ever before.

1. Set SMART Goals

SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. This framework ensures your goals are clear and actionable. For example, instead of saying, “I want to lose weight,” set a SMART goal: “I will lose 10 pounds in three months by exercising five times a week and following a balanced diet.”

2. Break Down Your Goals

Large goals can feel overwhelming, but breaking them into smaller, manageable tasks makes them more approachable. To write a book, start by outlining chapters, then focus on writing one chapter at a time.

3. Prioritize Your Tasks

Not all tasks are created equal. Use the Eisenhower Matrix or a similar prioritization tool to identify which tasks are urgent and important. Focus on high-impact activities that bring you closer to your goal.

4. Leverage the Power of Habit

Consistency is key to achieving any goal. Build habits that align with your objectives. For instance, if your goal is to get fit, make exercising a part of your daily routine by scheduling it at the same time each day.

5. Use Technology to Your Advantage

Countless apps and tools are designed to help you track progress and stay on course. Apps like Trello, Notion, or MyFitnessPal can help you organize your tasks, monitor progress, and stay motivated.

6. Surround Yourself with Supportive People

Your environment plays a significant role in your success. Surround yourself with people who encourage and support your goals. Join communities, find an accountability partner, or seek mentorship to stay inspired.

7. Learn to Say No

Protect your time and energy by saying no to distractions and commitments that don’t align with your priorities. This focus will give you more time to dedicate to what truly matters.

8. Embrace Failure as Feedback

Failure is not the end—it’s a learning opportunity. When setbacks occur, analyze what went wrong, adjust your strategy, and keep moving forward. Resilience is a critical component of success.

9. Celebrate Small Wins

Acknowledging progress keeps you motivated. Celebrate milestones along the way to maintain enthusiasm and momentum. Small wins remind you that you’re on the right path.

10. Stay Committed

Consistency and perseverance are crucial. Even when the initial excitement fades, staying committed to your goals will ensure long-term success. Remind yourself why you started and visualize the end result to reignite your motivation.

Conclusion Achieving your goals faster requires a combination of clear planning, consistent effort, and a willingness to adapt. By implementing these strategies, you’ll set yourself up for success and make significant progress toward your dreams. Start today—your future self will thank you.

I asked ChatGPT: Will The War Between Russia and Ukraine End? #chatgpt #russia #ukraine

I asked ChatGPT: Will The War Between Russia and Ukraine End?

Below are its answers:

Predicting the outcome of complex geopolitical conflicts like the war between Russia and Ukraine is inherently uncertain. The trajectory of the conflict depends on numerous factors, including international diplomacy, internal political dynamics within both countries, military developments, and broader geopolitical pressures.

Here are some key factors that could influence an end to the war:

1. Diplomatic Negotiations

Efforts by international mediators, such as the United Nations, Turkey, or other neutral parties, could result in peace talks. However, achieving a ceasefire or a long-term peace agreement depends on mutual concessions and trust—both of which have been in short supply.

2. Military Stalemate or Decisive Outcomes

Wars often end when one side gains a decisive advantage or when both sides reach a stalemate, realizing that continued fighting is unsustainable. The ability of either side to maintain resources and international support will play a critical role.

3. Internal Political Pressure

Domestic unrest or economic hardships in Russia or Ukraine could pressure leaders to seek peace. For example:

- In Russia, continued sanctions and casualties could undermine public support for the war.

- In Ukraine, prolonged conflict and infrastructure damage might increase the push for international solutions.

4. Role of International Actors

Countries like the U.S., EU, and China, along with organizations such as NATO, play a significant role in shaping the dynamics of the conflict. Continued support for Ukraine, sanctions on Russia, or shifts in alliances could accelerate or delay an end.

5. Changing Global Contexts

External global factors, such as economic crises, energy politics, or other emerging conflicts, could shift the focus of international attention, affecting the dynamics of the war.

Prospects for Peace

While it is difficult to predict an exact timeline or outcome, wars typically end either through negotiated settlements or shifts in power dynamics. The conflict in Ukraine, due to its complexity and the high stakes involved, will likely require a combination of sustained diplomatic pressure and shifts in military or economic conditions to reach a resolution.

Ultimately, peace will depend on the willingness of both sides to compromise and the effectiveness of international efforts to mediate and enforce agreements.

Indoor Cycling | 40 Mins | Singapore | POV Cycling Music & Videos #indoorcycling #indoorcyclingmusic #indoorexercise

(All links will open up in a new tab.)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I'm really enjoying the budget indoor cycling bike that I bought. Cycling on it for over a week now. For the past few months, I wasn't able to cycle because of my left knee. I can't bend it and even my foot got swollen. Now, it's healed. The knee ice pad actually works!

I've always wanted an indoor cycling bike. It's a low-impact exercise and I can do it at home anytime. I always thought it'd be expensive. Those they have in the gym are bulky and heavy. When I decided to research, I discovered they also have a budget version.

I decided to get one that was on offer for around $100+. It is supposed to include cycling apps. I didn't use it as it's in Chinese and a hassle. You can download and use the cycling apps from the Google Play Store. I found one app called, MyWhoosh. You can even link up with the cadence sensor.

My Indoor cycling bike comes with a cadence sensor. I didn't know what it was until I read the manual. I paired it with the MyWhoosh app and it works. That's why I preferred the app over the others. It doesn't keep pestering you to try the trial version.

Now, I just use my Apple Watch Ultra in indoor cycling mode. The data is sent to my Strava and Health app on my iPhone. It shows my average BPM, minutes cycled, calories burned, etc. The cadence sensor has not been linked to my cycling computer, yet.

I have been using my old iPad to play cycling videos indoors. There are many cool POVs aka point-of-view cycling videos with nice views of beautiful places like the Alps. Fast-paced techno music makes cycling indoors more enjoyable.

I decided to create my own POV indoor cycling video. You can watch it here. It's a 40-minute cycling video with music I created using AI. I have many videos that I took while cycling using GoPro. Why not, make my own? I tested it and liked it.

If you have never been to Singapore a great way to check out the routes and the nice sunny views. Cycling on weekdays is much better than on weekends as there will be more people. You'll see it in the video. If people like the video, I might make more of it.

I also decided to purchase a fat burner cream. I already have a sauna suit. Hoping, this time around, will help reduce my damn tummy size. I've said that I used to cycle to work and home every day. But, it isn't enough. Now, I follow a routine of 30 minutes of indoor cycling every day.

For now, 30 minutes is the minimum I could do. I might increase as I progress further. Check out my YouTube channel even if you're not interested in cycling. My YouTube and blog are usually about the latest tech and games I like and purchased.

My New Budget Indoor Exercise Cycling Spin Bike #exercisebike #indoorcyclingbike #indoorexercisebike

(All links will open up in a new tab.)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Finally! I bought my first-ever indoor exercise bike. I've wanted one for a long time. I started cycling again after I got a job near my house. At the same time, Singapore has been building PCN aka Park Connector Network. Now, it's great fun to cycle the whole country.

Park hop, enjoy nature, and exercise at the same time. What's better than that? I have made many cycling videos, you can check them out on my YouTube channel here. I only learned about the PCN after I got interested in cycling again.

There are new networks and places I have yet to go. Sg has cycling parks and nature reserves you can visit even if you're not into cycling. Check out my Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve pictures and videos I took with my Nikon Zfc and a 50-250mm Nikkor Zdx lens.

I didn't cycle there as it's quite far. However, I cycled to Woodlands Waterfront Park which is nearby. I went with a friend and we had fun checking the place out. If you're interested in bird photography, it's one of the places to go. There are only food and drink vending machines available.

After a vacation to Hatyai Thailand, my left knee got swollen again. Watch my vacation video here. I tried to be careful but it got worse and it's only after over five months that it got better. I couldn't bend my knee or walk properly and my foot got swollen.

Well, it did get better. I went cycling again and ended up swollen again. Watch my last cycling video before my knee got swollen again here. I planned just a short cycling distance. It looks near on the Google map. It's too far and I only reached home around midnight.

After quitting my job, the only way I can cycle regularly is to get an indoor cycling bike. I did some research and got one within my budget. They're all the same. Try to get one with a good offer or free gifts. Mine was delivered with a hole at the side and the box looks like it's been through a lot. Lol

There was a tear on the left handle and only one bubble wrap for the right handle which was weird. Everything else looks good and it was easy to set up. I could put a bottle holder on it. Mine didn't have a speedometer but included a cadence sensor that works with the "MyWhoosh" cycling app.

I have an Apple Watch Ultra. I use it when cycling and can now also use it for indoor cycling. It checks my timing, heart rate, and calories burned. I link it to my iPhone and Strava. Pretty nifty. There are many free cycling music and videos on YouTube.

I decided to make my own indoor cycling music and videos. Check 'em out here! Since I already have many cycling videos I can use them. I also just converted another cycling video here. The first one is a 40-minute range, while the second is a short 9 minutes.

I'm really enjoying my new indoor cycling bike. I'm able to maintain a certain level of fitness. It's a low-impact exercise for my bad knees.

The Moon | Nikon Coolpix P950 #moon #nikon #nikoncoolpixp950

(All links will open up in a new tab.)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

The Moon video above was taken a few years back when I bought my first camera, the Nikon Coolpix  P950. It was on offer so, I took the chance. The main reason I was interested in the camera is its capability to zoom to the moon.

I checked out some of the videos on YouTube and I was amazed. Being able to take a close look at the moon was very exciting. There is also the Nikon P1000. The zooming is more powerful than mine P950. I would have gotten it, if not for the higher price.

I also take photos and videos of places like the last fishing village, Jenal Jetty. It's basically, the only existing commercial fishing village in Singapore. Recently, there was news of a big crocodile spotted around that area. Luckily, it wasn't there when I was taking photos by the seaside.

Watch the video to check out the place. Another nice place I went to is the Singapore Botanical Garden. I managed to take videos of wild chickens and monitor lizards. I saw one beautiful black monitor lizard and quickly took a video. Pretty handy to have a zooming camera!

You can also view videos and photographs of the Jurong Lake Garden. Since I was still new to using a real camera, there were certain things I forgot to do or take note of. There are many settings available and scenarios you can choose from. I usually use Auto mode.

I also sometimes feel that I don't have the need to edit the pictures. I prefer it to be as original as possible. The way I see it is what I want others to see it too. I always reset everything back to the original after dabbling with the editing.

I enjoyed going to Changi Beach and took pics and videos of ferry boats and airplanes. Even though I've been there many times, I didn't realize you can watch airplanes by the beach. I remembered watching the news about airplane enthusiasts going there to watch them.

I thought that's a good idea. I can definitely use my P950 to do that too. There are many sides to the Changi area and I decided to visit the Changi Point Boardwalk to take pictures. It has nice views and you can walk on the coastal boardwalk till the end.

I cycled there and when I reached the place, it was low tide. I saw many nice big rock formations. Watch the video for some cool photos that I took. I've lived in my own country and wouldn't have known this place existed. All thanks to my new interest in photography.

That is what I realized. Once, I got interested in photography, I began to see things in a different light. I didn't know you can look at things in various ways. Yes, I take photos and videos with my phone but didn't think much of it until I used a real camera.

My New Android OS 14 Tablet with Keyboard Case #android #androidtablet #androidos14

(All links open up in a new tab.)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I just bought a new Android 14 tablet with a wired keyboard, and it's pretty good. However, I later discovered that it's not Android OS 14 but Oreo 8.1. Someone told me that in one of my comment sections, but I didn't believe it initially, as my device says Android 14.

When I went online to check which Android OS was on the device, it stated that it was an Oreo 8.1. I was a little mad, as I thought it was the latest OS. The specs were pretty impressive, with large storage and RAM. Also, it's only around $100+ with free gifts!

Another commented that I should ask for a refund. I rarely ask for a refund because they won't give you a refund and always give excuses. The good news is that, even with an Oreo 8.1 version, it runs smoothly and does whatever I want.

The bad news is that some of the apps and games on the playstore are not playing or usable. Doesn't matter, cause all those latest bloated games and apps with in-app purchases or ads are nuisance. I ended up deleting them all. However, there are some I really wanted to run like Termux.

For just $100 I got an affordable mini laptop with Android OS. It can play retro games and I like playing around with old systems like the C64, Apple IIe, or MS-DOS. I love learning simple coding with basics. There aren't any good free apps for Linux terminals or Python on Android.

Those available suck. They're full of ads or don't actually work as the real thing. I end up just playing with the retro emulators. YouTube and other social media run smoothly on Chrome. I prefer using them to the apps cause they're slow and erratic behavior.

Using the Android Oreo 8.1 OS is pretty limited. Some apps and games don't play and act exasperatingly weird. You can try side installs but those websites that host them have many ads. It's better I guess as it stops you from going crazy and just install everything.

It's funny cause we don't have the self-control to stop ourselves from installing everything and anything we don't need or use. I have many apps and games on my phone that I haven't used for years. That's why I don't mind using the Oreo OS version.

Once, I stop installing apps and games that give me problems on the device, I have a blast using it. I usually use it in the morning drinking coffee and breakfast. I have a laptop but because the tablet is light, small, and always on it fits nicely with my daily morning routine.

I only need my laptop or computer when I need to do heavy workloads like video editing. I used my phones too but, then I needed to charge them. That's when a tablet with bigger-sized screens is useful for social media consumption. Enjoy the simple things in life!

my kodak pixpro fz55 photos and videos sample #kodak #kodakpixpro #fz55

(All links will open up in a new tab.)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I made a video showing some videos and photo samples using the Kodak Pixpro FZ55. I must say, I'm impressed with the photos and video quality. They have an artsy nostalgic vibe to them. Though I did edit some of them. So far, I'm happy with my purchase.

I'm thinking of going out and taking more videos and photos with it, but as you can see from my latest video here, it's been raining a lot these past few weeks. As I've said, this camera is small and almost like a toy. I guess, it's the inside that counts.

The buttons are small but not really a big deal. You can put it inside your pocket and it's not heavy. If you're considering buying it for your kids, it's a good budget present. It's easy to use and fun to play with. That's why I bought it, for the heck of it.

I've seen some sample pictures and they're pretty good. Well, if you're good at photography, it doesn't matter what camera you have, right? However, I have problems taking photos and videos as my hands are too shaky. There's an anti-shaky mode that I like to use.

Recently, I've been into taking videos and trying to look cinematic. I'm not sure if I have achieved that look. Anyway, I love taking videos with the FZ55 too. Yes, it's shaky when handheld but you can always use a gimble or a stand.

The quality of the video during taking and uploading is not bad. So far, I've only put everything on auto and haven't tried the scene mode. You can choose the manual mode too. You can adjust the ISO, Shutter speed, and Aperture. Oh, the mic is basic but pretty good too.

I'm not sure if you can see the change during manual adjustments. I tried setting the ISO too high and when I took the picture it was dark. It didn't show while I was adjusting. When you're used to high-end cameras, this camera seems outdated.

Well, before I bought this camera, I did my research and all I was interested in was the kind of pictures I could get with it. I also know how shaky the camera is. That's what makes people like it, I guess. I'm sure the price is a factor too.

I'm wondering if Kodak planning to improve on the FZ55. Of course, within budgets. If you want a much better camera, you'll have to be willing to pay the price. Maybe, do an increment improvement but still maintain the low pricing.

Sometimes, the pricing of certain parts will go down. My recent purchase of my new Android tablet is an example. Better parts that have gone down in pricing and use an old 8.1 Android OS. It's still good enough for Netflix, YouTube, social media, and Android games.

Finally! My new Kodak Pixpro FZ55 unboxing #kodakpixprofz55 #fz55 #kodak #kodakpixpro

(All links will open up in a new tab.)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I was thinking of getting the latest Fujifilm Xm5 camera, but I don't have the money right now. That's when I saw YouTube videos of the Kodak Pixpro FZ55. I was intrigued. I checked out the pictures and video samples, and I like them!

The pictures were pretty sharp, and I like nostalgia's effect. Best of all, it's way cheaper than the XM5. You can get it for $100+. If you're interested in a small compact camera for traveling or taking everyday photographs, get it. I did.

If you've been reading my blog posts, I already have my Nikon P950, Zfc, and Z8. You can watch my photos and video samples on my YouTube channel. You can also watch my FZ55 sample videos here. Watch my unboxing video here.

As you can see, I'm not just interested in Nikon cameras. Now, I realize I want to try out whatever cameras are available. It's not just about taking sharp pictures but also design and the kind of pictures I can take like the FZ55.

I was surprised at how small and light the FZ55 is. It can fit in your pocket and nobody would have noticed it. I decided on blue because I was tired of red and black. The camera has buttons for power, taking photos and videos, at the top side.

I wish the photo button was a little bit nearer to the side as I sometimes, didn't realize I was pressing the body. The video button is after that. Finally, the power button is almost in the middle. The play button can be found at the back with the rest of the menu, macro, and flashlight buttons.

You can choose to shoot in auto or manual mode. You can control the shutter speed, ISO, and Aperture. I end up just setting up to Auto or Shaky mode as I find myself taking blurred photos most of the time. Oh, and also AutoScene.

That's the difference between an expensive professional camera and a cheap camera like the Pixpro FZ55. There are things you wish it had for sharper pictures and videos. RAW files. Easy access to many camera features.

The good thing about FZ55 is that you concentrate on taking photos. The rest is to photography nerds. That got me thinking about getting an instant print camera by Fujifilm and Kodak. Nowadays, everyone takes photos and videos and posts them online. Why an instant print camera?

There are many things I could say to justify my purchase, who cares it's just for fun. I can quickly take photos like the FZ55 and instantly print them for keeps or giveaways. I can put it in an album like in the old days or frame it and hang it around the house.

I also bought an Android tablet and a 7Artisans 35mm F1.4 MF APS-C lens for my Z8. I'll post about them in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

My Photography with Astrhori 50mm lens and Nikon Zfc | Singapore Japanese Cemetery Park

(All links will open up in a new tab.)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I've been re-using, and re-editing pictures and videos I took using my Nikon Coolpix P950 and Nikon Zfc with Microsoft ClipChamp video editing software. You can download it from the Microsoft Store. It's awesome. There are many free templates, background music, cool effects, etc.

You can also purchase more music, effects, and more. I'm impressed. Once, you're done, you can save your videos or immediately upload them to YouTube or other social media. You can save in several formats and ratios. It's easy to use even for novices.

I wasn't happy with some of the earlier videos I edited and uploaded. I could have done better. Luckily, I didn't delete them and kept them still on my hard disk. I kept the main files on my SD card. Once it's full, I just buy a new one. I trust them on my SD card more than other storage offers.

I used to store all my files in external storage devices but they all became faulty. Nowadays, they have the SSD type. I might try them in the future. Seems to last longer. My computer's internal SSD is still fine. My main hard disk died years ago.

The funny thing though is that I re-used my old laptop hard disk and it's still working great. I kept some of my old laptop hard disks as you never know. I've been wanting to upgrade my 100GB SSD as it's running out of space. This could be one of the reasons, I couldn't upgrade to Windows 11.

Anyway, I hope you guys watch my new re-edited video of my photography using the AstrHori 50mm lens with my Nikon Zfc. As I've said, I like the new Microsoft editing software the Clipchamp. One photo effect I keep choosing is the 35mm lens.

For some reason, the image looks much nicer to me when I use the 35mm lens effect. I'm even thinking of getting a prime 35mm lens. People say it makes your picture look much tighter. My favorite prime lens that I've been using is the SE 28mm which I got with my Zfc.

I want to purchase the new 28-400mm lens to go with my Nikon Z8. I have the 50-250mm z dx. From my own experience, the 28-400mm will be much preferred. I could reach further with the 400mm. I'm getting more experience with the more pictures and videos I took.

I'm thinking of getting the latest Fujifilm XM5. I've been checking some videos of it on YouTube and I like it. Though the retro design reminds me of my Zfc. What I'm really interested in is the film recipes that they offer on the camera itself.

You can choose the type of photo recipe you like before taking photos. It's available by rotating the dial. You can also take a 6k video. A 6k is more than enough. You can then download it to your phone and immediately upload it to your social media.

I'm kind of an impatient person and also I think, I suckz at editing photos and videos. That's why the XM5 seems made for me. It's not out yet. The news is that it'll be out mid of Nov. I'm not going to purchase it straight away. I'll get it when I get the chance.

I bought a new ARMAGEDDON 27-inch Gaming Monitor & Headphones #armageddon

(All links will open up in a new tab.)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

My new ARMAGEDDON (website) gaming monitor and headphones finally arrived. The first time I've bought gaming products from them, although I think I've bought their backpack before. They have been around for quite some time.

I bought a new gaming monitor because my old Asus or Acer (couldn't remember) had burn marks on the screen. My old monitor was 24 inches I upgraded to a 27-inch. I believe I've had the old monitor for over five years. It's a good monitor.

I was on a budget. I decided on the Armageddon monitor when I saw it was on offer for $100+. Others offered below the $200 mark but I decided on Armageddon brand. That's why I also got the Armageddon brand headphones.

Once in a while, I like to try out other brands to see if they're any good compared to others. Prices, design, and specs matter to me too. I like the company's logo. Too bad they didn't include any stickers with their products like Razer

When I buy Razer products and get their stickers, I paste them everywhere. I think cool company stickers help create loyalty and also promote your company brands. So, Armageddon, you know what to do. Send me some stickers!

I love the Armageddon logo. It's a waste that they didn't include any stickers. I would also love it if they want to sponsor me (haha!). They have many latest products that you can check on their main website. I'm already thinking of maybe buying a new gaming PC from them.

My current gaming PC is from Aftershock (website). Check out my unboxing video here. Don't forget to like and share. I took a quick look at the video and realized, I've had this PC for seven years. And, it's still working fine. But, the hard disk died and I had to re-use the old laptop hard disk.

I'm upgrading to a bigger SSD for the main drive and adding more RAM or getting a new one. It's always good to update to the latest tech. Mine has been seven years. Even the Aftershock company has grown bigger. They have many new offerings and promo.

The tech has gotten bigger and better. You can get bigger SSD storage sizes. My PC had the GTX 1060 3GB back then. Now, it's the i9s and RTX 4090s. I still have my HP laptop with AMD Ryzen 7. Now, they already have Ryzen 9

HP has good laptops. I have people buying via my Amazon links. I also recommended my ex-colleague buy an upgraded version with more RAM and storage space. My recommended minimum is 16GB of RAM. I had a problem editing videos with just 8GB of RAM.

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I had my Nikon Coolpix P950 for a couple of years now. Looking back at all the pictures and videos I have taken with it makes me realize I'm good as a photographer or videographer. I'm still learning though. There are still things that I need to understand.

The good thing is that the more I practice and learn to use my camera, the better I get. Currently, I'm using my Nikon Z8 as my main camera. I decided to purchase it, although it was expensive. I count it as an investment in knowledge and skills.

I have always been interested in photography. I remember borrowing my mom's camera to take photos. Where is it now or what brand? Film is such a hassle. People like it but compared to the mirrorless camera, it's much easier to use and share on social media.

I remember taking many photos and when I sent them to the shop, some pictures couldn't be developed. One time, my platoon Sergeant, took out his film roll after it passed through the airport scanner. It's because people say the X-rays will destroy the pictures.

He's such an idiot. I didn't have any problem with my films. I still have them after over twenty years. I took pictures using my phone and posted some of them online. Memories are what we all hang to in our later years. That's why I re-edited and re-posted my P950 videos.

Here are links to some photography and videography adventures I took using my Nikon P950.
Recently, I also took photos and videos using my Nikon Zfc. Check 'em out below!
Watch the videos above if you want to visit or learn about Singapore or Thailand.

I love the Nikon Zfc too. It's a good budget camera to bring along on vacations. It's so good, my nephew wanted to buy it from me. But, he changed his mind when we came back home. Anyway, I had great fun taking photos and videos with it.

I'm actually interested in the latest Fujifilm XM5. What caught my eye is that it has many film simulations for photography and videography settings. I like the silver design which looks like my Nikon Zfc. It also costs the same with or without the lens included.

I think I suck at editing pictures and videos. That's one thing I'm trying to learn and improve on. That's why I mostly prefer shooting in auto and jpeg. But, the Nikon Z8 doesn't have auto settings. Which is good as it forces me to learn to shoot manually. Dabbling with all the settings.

I'm learning to edit my Nikon Z8 RAW videos with Davinci Resolve. I'm having fun upgrading my knowledge and skills. I want to make more great videos for my YouTube channel!

My mom bought a Xiaomi Robot Vacuum E5 #xiaomi #robotvacuum #robotvacuumcleaner

(All links will open up in a new tab.)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

My mom had always wanted to buy a robot vacuum. She finally did after seeing one on a deal. She told me to set it up and see how it works. She got a Xiaomi Robot Vacuum E5. I like the design. Simplicity at its best. I had a problem with the iPhone app version though.

Luckily, I also have a Samsung Zflip 5 Android phone. I downloaded and quickly connected the robot vacuum to my phone. You need to download the Xiaomi Home app and follow the app instructions. It will ask you to choose the vacuum version and press both the arrow and the power button to link.

It was relatively quick and easy. It is also easy to maintain. At first, I thought, you had to unscrew to open the dust collector. You just need to press open the bin button and clear it all. I know it works because there was so much dust in it.

For the price, I'm really impressed with the robot vacuum. It is surprisingly strong too. It literally pushed everything that could be moved. The chairs, doors, flower pots, portable aircon and even felled my bicycle inside my room.

You need to be sure nothing will get stuck to the robot broom rotator. Even if it did, a notice is sent to the phone. The app needs to be updated. Use the app to schedule the dates and times. You can also manually control it. Cool!

The robot vacuum reminds me of my Raspberry Pi car robot. You can build your own and even code it to run manually or automatically using Python code. This robot vacuum doesn't have a camera so you won't know where it's going. Will be good if it has.

I wish the robot could map the house and show its location in the phone app. You can hear the motor running but it's not as loud as a normal vacuum cleaner. It will work as long as the battery lasts and returns to its docking charger. If you want to, you can instruct it to dock.

The battery would last over five hours. I live in a small apartment building and it takes a long time to vacuum every section of the house. That doesn't include the time it got stuck. I'm not in a hurry for it to finish. It does a pretty good job.

I've had it for a few days now and I like it. It does the job. Sometimes, you need to sweep away that little rubbish it pushed from under the tables, chairs, or cabinet. I just remembered the part where you can pour water into the mop holder.

I also added a floor detergent. If your house is too dusty, you can run it to vacuum the floor first before adding the mop part. Since the robot had cleaned the whole house, I let it vacuum and mop. Now, I feel satisfied that the robot helps maintain the house floor.

In the future, who knows I'll be able to get a robot to clean the whole house!

rain rain go away come again another day | iPhone 13 #rain #rainsounds #rainyday

(All links will open up in a new tab.)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

The other day, I saw a guy on YouTube talking about using an iPhone as their main camera, instead of buying expensive cameras and lenses for photography and videography. I commented that I've been using several iterations of the iPhone to do that!

I've talked about it on my blog years ago. Since I couldn't afford a camera, using my iPhone was the next best thing. Sometimes, I'd even use my iPad. In fact, using the iPad is much better as the screen is much bigger for editing.

I discovered earlier that the iPhone camera is quite good. I use it mostly for my unboxing videos. I prefer bigger storage spaces. The most important thing was the free editing app available on the iPhone, the iMovie. I love the iMovie app.

Sure, there are many other good so-called 'free' apps. But, they sometimes come with watermarks and are worse now with the trial version. Which really sucks. They used to be totally free. I used to enjoy using the GoPro free app. Now, I don't use them.

I also have a Samsung Android phone. Sometimes, I use it for photography and videography. Now, you can use Google or Samsung free video editing software. They're good, too, and free. But, iMovie is still the main driver for me.

In the early days, my iPhone used to stop working in the middle of my editing like my computer constantly froze. I'd have to redo it again unless I had saved it. It was really exasperating. My computer wasn't the high-end type.

I didn't know it back then but if you want to do heavy video editing, you should get a high-end gaming PC or laptop. They usually offer the best CPU and GPU. The minimum is 16GB of Rams. I'm using my gaming PC right now. That is my main daily driver.

My PC seldom hangs when I use it for video editing. It has 16GB of RAM and has it for over 5 years. Think of upgrading to the latest available. I don't use it for video editing now as I'm running out of storage. Currently, I'm using my Apple Macbook Pro M1 Pro.

The Apple MacBook is good. But, it's damn expensive. I took a plunge as I wanted a good laptop for video editing. As always, it has the iMovie for video editing. That's one of the reasons I decided to get a Mac. I have the 16GB version but if I had the extra dough, I would have chosen with more rams.

The MacBook Pro laptop was useful when I brought it along on vacation. I edited my photos and videos when we returned to our Airbnb house. I didn't have to wait to return home. Check out these videos which I took using my Nikon Zfc and edited on my Mac.

I've been making videos for my YouTube channel for years. There are over 1000 videos. I wasn't into YouTube in the early days. I just upload random stuff. It was only later on that I began to do unboxing videos and learn about video editing etc.

Oh yes, the rain has finally stopped!
