my kodak pixpro fz55 photos and videos sample #kodak #kodakpixpro #fz55

(All links will open up in a new tab.)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I made a video showing some videos and photo samples using the Kodak Pixpro FZ55. I must say, I'm impressed with the photos and video quality. They have an artsy nostalgic vibe to them. Though I did edit some of them. So far, I'm happy with my purchase.

I'm thinking of going out and taking more videos and photos with it, but as you can see from my latest video here, it's been raining a lot these past few weeks. As I've said, this camera is small and almost like a toy. I guess, it's the inside that counts.

The buttons are small but not really a big deal. You can put it inside your pocket and it's not heavy. If you're considering buying it for your kids, it's a good budget present. It's easy to use and fun to play with. That's why I bought it, for the heck of it.

I've seen some sample pictures and they're pretty good. Well, if you're good at photography, it doesn't matter what camera you have, right? However, I have problems taking photos and videos as my hands are too shaky. There's an anti-shaky mode that I like to use.

Recently, I've been into taking videos and trying to look cinematic. I'm not sure if I have achieved that look. Anyway, I love taking videos with the FZ55 too. Yes, it's shaky when handheld but you can always use a gimble or a stand.

The quality of the video during taking and uploading is not bad. So far, I've only put everything on auto and haven't tried the scene mode. You can choose the manual mode too. You can adjust the ISO, Shutter speed, and Aperture. Oh, the mic is basic but pretty good too.

I'm not sure if you can see the change during manual adjustments. I tried setting the ISO too high and when I took the picture it was dark. It didn't show while I was adjusting. When you're used to high-end cameras, this camera seems outdated.

Well, before I bought this camera, I did my research and all I was interested in was the kind of pictures I could get with it. I also know how shaky the camera is. That's what makes people like it, I guess. I'm sure the price is a factor too.

I'm wondering if Kodak planning to improve on the FZ55. Of course, within budgets. If you want a much better camera, you'll have to be willing to pay the price. Maybe, do an increment improvement but still maintain the low pricing.

Sometimes, the pricing of certain parts will go down. My recent purchase of my new Android tablet is an example. Better parts that have gone down in pricing and use an old 8.1 Android OS. It's still good enough for Netflix, YouTube, social media, and Android games.

Nikon Coolpix P950 - 83x Zoom - Drizzly Day At The Beach

Nikon COOLPIX P950 Compact Digital Camera with 83x Optical Zoom Super Telephoto Lens Bundle Including Triple Battery + Deco Gear Backpack Bag Case + Filter Kit + Photo Video Software and Accessories

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Well, I had a fun Sunday at the beach. Taking videos and pictures with my new Nikon Coolpix P950. One problem though, it was lightly drizzling. I was always looking for some cover for my camera. It's not waterproof. One time, a drop of rainwater splash right on top of the camera.

Lucky for me it didn't go into any open area like the mic. I'm definitely going to look for something that would give my camera good waterproofing protection. I actually found them selling on Amazon. You can check it out here.

It rains heavily in the morning but I was hoping it will stop. And, the weather will get sunny and bright later in the day like yesterday, Saturday. But, it didn't. Even if it rains, I thought it would still be okay, as I can take videos and pictures of the rain.

The good thing is that this will be a good experience for me using the P950. As I've never used a DSLR camera before. Next time, I'll be more prepared. One thing I learned is that for some reason, the camera will shake terribly if you don't control your hands when zooming at far objects.

I had a hard time taking videos of the airplane. Once, I managed to zoom in, I would shake and lose sight of the plane. Mind you, I was using the tripod. I'm not sure if I should use the tripod on a moving plane. Taking videos of moving boats was a lot easier.

The P950 does have a good stabilizer. It's only when you're zooming at far objects that the shaking might be too much. Although, I didn't really have any problem taking videos and pictures of the moon. Check out my videos of the moon here.

Using the tripod is good. My problem is when having to take a moving object. Sometimes, I'll move the camera a bit and hold the position without locking. That's when it'll start shaking. I really need to master taking videos of moving objects.

It doesn't help that I have bad breathing habits. My breathing is very irregular and sometimes loud. People will give me the look when they hear my breathing. I'm actually afraid that the P950 will pick up on it. The mic is actually not that bad. And, you can add your own camera mic if you want to.

I went to the beach with my nephew and you can actually hear a bit of his voice in the video. I had to shush him up. There were parts I had to cut because he was too loud. At least, I know the mic works. I wasn't sure how good it is as I've never really tested it.

Going to the beach was a good idea with all the sounds of the waves, the big loud motor of the boats, and people talking in the background. You can feel as if you're at the beach with me. The funny thing is, I didn't actually think about sound when taking videos. Normally, I just put background music during editing.

I was concentrating more on taking good pictures and videos. Of course, I also wanted to test the 83x zooming capabilities and it didn't disappoint. But, like I've said, I need to learn to control my hands at full zoom. On whole, it was such a fun day minus the drizzling.
