Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Nintendo Switch
Hey guys,
Check it out!
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is coming out soon on March 20, 2020!
It looks like a new load of fun for the Nintendo Switch. I also just read the news that there won't be any new updated version of the portable game console. It was confirmed by the big boss himself. Shuntaro Furukawa, the gaming giant's president, and CEO.
What a bummer. I think a lot of people were hoping for an updated version of the switch. Although, mine is the original version and still going strong. I actually also just learned how to clean up my joy-con controller to solved the drifting problem.
Maybe, Nintendo is still working on the latest version of the switch. Especially, when a new PS5 and Xbox one series is coming out in the near future. They'll be more powerful with 4k graphics and the latest games. Or maybe, Nintendo doesn't really care about it.
The Nintendo Switch has sold for 42+ million units around the world. According to VGChartz, the Nintendo Switch has sold 17.33 million units in the US, 13.22 million in Europe and 11.62 million in Japan. Not bad, for a product that everyone thought was going to fail?
I was one of those people that didn't think much of the switch when it first came out. But, my nephew been bugging me to get it so that he can play FIFA18 on the go. I was actually intrigued too. Even though, there weren't many games back then.
Nintendo did the right thing by asking for feedback from us consumers about their product and what they can do to improve. My own feedback was that I wanted more games from triple AAA companies, indies, retro games and apps like youtube, Spotify and even a web browser.
There's still limited triple AAA games, no Spotify and a web browser. There's still no app store too. They did come out with a switch lite. I remember, they were asking for feedback about how many people in our household that has the switch back then. No wonder.
Well, let's hope Nintendo, will come out with a new updated version of the original switch that will be on par with the latest PlayStation or Xbox. Imagine, playing 4k version of the games on the go. Okay, maybe that'll drain the batteries more. But, who knows they might come out with a solution?
