Well, I'm not into all this build-your-own-pc and tweak stuff. Too lazy, no money and it's freaking too time consuming. I'll rather surf and read stuff on the Net. But, to those of you nerds/nerdettes or techie out there, ExtremeTech.com is a haven!

I first heard about the site via DL.tv video podcast. I like the show. It's a tech show about techie stuff and games review etc. You can go download the podcast via iTunes to your ipod. Check it out!

Another great show that I love watching is Crankygeeks.com video podcast. The show is hosted by John C. Dvorak with his partner in crime Sebastian Rupley. They usually have two guest which contributes to the show on general tech news, latest gadgets or whatever gets them cranky. Pretty, funny stuff. Why does break up hurts?

Okay. I just got to get this out of my chest. A month ago, a friend gave me a woman mobile contact number. Heh, you know the drill right?

I just got discharged from the hospital after four days being warded for a spine slip disc. And, I've got 45 days of MC. So, what's a guy to do right?

So, through the days, I chat up with the woman via sms. Yeah, same ol same ol. She was friendly, able to take my crude jokes etc. It's been some time since I last chat or talk with any woman intimately. My friend actually given me a couple of numbers before but all the woman seems disinterested. I don't know why. I guess, it's hard to find a woman to talk to nowadays eh? Or maybe, it's me?

So, when this woman named "Linda" actually bothered to even 'entertained' me, I was kind of happy. Everyday, every minute, every hours, I check my phone if she had send me a message. Even, my nephews noticed it. And, they joked to me about it. The only problem is I wanted to meet her but she kept insisting that she's afraid I'll run away when I meet her. So, I didn't bother to try to meet her anymore after that. Even, though, I totally wanted to. I guess, if I wanted really to meet her, it wouldn't be a problem. It's just that, something stop me to 'further' the relationship. I think, I have this relationship self-distruct button inside of me. I always find a way to screw it up!

Anyway, the last few days, I finally decided to offer her phone number to one of my male colleague. At first, she didn't want me to. But, I lied saying that I've shown her pic to my colleauge and that he likes her. I tried, a second time and she finally gave in. Well, once, I've given her number, I decided not to contact her anymore. You know, I thought I didn't want to get in between those two as in a way, I was trying to 'run' away from her. I don't know why, I did that. Although, I've been happy chatting up with her but I guess I did it because, I wanted to pretend that I was helping my friend and her. Do I sound stupid to you? Ha!

So, to make the story short. They meet up and now they're seeing each other. Although, in a way, I was happy for them, but inside me just feels a little hurt. I don't know why. Finally, today. I send an sms asking her to delete my number from her contacts and told her that I'll be doing the same. I said that, I didn't want to get in between both of them and I felt that it was better that way. She asked, why couldn't we still be friends then? I replied, that I was afraid I'll get in between their relationship. I was freaking lying to her and myself. Inside me, in truth, I was a little hurt that she actually went out with him after the second day of chatting on the phone. Whereas, I didn't even get to hear her voice much else meet her. I know, it's my own freaking fault!

She send me the sad face icon :( but I didn't care. I just wanted out of the short 'relationship' if you can call it that. I was kind of exasperated that she actually went out with him even though at first she didn't want to. She said, she was only interested in me and not anybody else. But, then she agreed to meet him. What gives! How can I take it just like that? I thought she did it just to spite me. Well, who have the last laugh huh?

At work, during lunch break earlier. I usually sleep, as I've taken my brunch at the 10:00am tea break. I didn't manage to get a single wink! I was thinking the whole time how to tell it to her that I wanted her to delete my number and that we shouldn't stay in contact anymore. I wanted her totally out of my life. In a way, I was angry and I wanted to tell her off and all of that. But, in the end I just told her that maybe, we shouldn't contact each other anymore. I told her to delete my number and I was going to delete her's. So, that was that. But, why do I feel a little hurt inside? Why do I feel the sensation of the break up?

Even, though, I've only known her for almost 2 months. I haven't met the girl, haven't even hear her voice on the telephone. And, it still hurts? Why the hell-freaking-so!!??

I guess, it's been some time since I last felt a little connected to someone since my break up with my ex. Which, I actually still think of once in a while. I still think that I'm doing my former girlfriend an injustice and if in any way, I can get back with her. I'll do it. The thing is, even if we're back together would it be any better then the last time? I've had an on-and-off relationship with her a couple of time. I'm in a freaking dilemma.

Right now, in a way, I'm happy that I'm single but also, deep inside maybe I need someone. Heck. When, I did had a girlfriend, I wanted out and when I didn't have one? I wanted one!

Duh! This pain going to hurt, and last a couple of days, maybe weeks. The bad thing is that my colleague is going to be talking about her to me. Which, I didn't want. Cause, I just want to forget about her and move on. Maybe, find me another woman eh? Hurt again? You bet!

I guess that's part of my life right now. Maybe, I'll find someone special again like my ex. Maybe, I'll get back with my ex-gf together again. Or really maybe, I don't freaking care about all this relationship thing. It's just such a hassle! But, who knows right?

Nothing is carve in stone in this world.

Even if I don't? Duh! I'll still be happy being single. And, that's that.

So, have a nice weekend and maybe, I'll read up more news about the 3G iPhone to soothes the hurt. Yeah.. baby. Come to papa ...

Latest updates: 17th July. Well, I finally decided to ask my friend for her number again. And, we chat about what had happens. Right now, we only chat occasionally again. But, I think now it's a little easier for me to 'slowly' disappear rather then abruptly stop contacting her. Seems to be working and doesn't hurt as much. Also, I tried contacting my ex via email. So, far. No response. But, hey, at least I tried right? Although, I know, I can do better.

Latest updates II: 18th July. So guess what? I went to meet the girl finally after only chatting with her for almost 2 months. Well, she isn't that pretty in real life. She's okay I guess. A little too thin. And, she likes to wear the head scarf. I told her I preferred to see her let her hair go. I'm sure, she'll look better. But, anyway. At least I got to meet her and she's the first woman I met (consider as a date?) after 2 years breaking up with my long-time gf. A little awkward. I don't know how far this relationship going to go. But, we'll see. For now, I'm just going with the flow ..

Latest updates III: 20th July. Sigh! So, guess what again. Now, the girl decided to break up with me. Saying that I wasn't really serious about the relationship. Actually, she's right. Well, you can't really blame me. I just met her what 2 days ago? I guess it's my fault that I introduced her to my friend in the first place. I should have just keep it to myself and not pass her number around. She wasn't really happy about that in the first place. And, also, I can't move on, until I settled things with my ex. Got, to find a way to meet her and talk things through. Anyway, I'm supposed to be over about woman and now, I'm in this mess I created myself. Baahh ..relationship is not for me. I should just stick with being alone. Again. Life goes on .. I guess. I think this is going to be my last updates for this post. Any comment?

My Love

iPhone 3G on sale tomorrow!

Yay! iPhone 3G will be on sale starting tomorrow on 11th July!

Okay, Singapore isn't among the lucky few countries that's got the opportunity to sell it en-mass. But, it'll be sooner rather then later. News, is that Singtel will be selling it in September. There's no exact date announced but you can actually, already pre-order it online via their site.

I'm still thinking if I want to do that. I'm also wondering should I get the 8Gb or the 16Gb version of the iPhone?

If you know Apple, I'm pretty sure they'll keep updating and improving the iPhone and rolling it out for sale almost every year!

So, since the 8Gb version is a little cheaper, you can buy it and if and when the new version comes out, you'll have no qualm to trade in for a new one. I guess, you can do that with a 16Gb iPhone too. But, the thing is that, I like to install a whole lot of stuff in it. I like to surf up and learn what I can do with the iPhone. I like to put in apps, games, music, videos, podcast etc. That's why I'm wondering if getting a 16Gb version is the best options. Although, if I have a lot of stuff in it, and I had paid for it, I don't think I'll want to just trade in the iPhone and lose all the stuff that I had collected. But, then again. If the next-gen iPhone offers better speed, space or whatever Apple planning to upgrade. Why not right?

The thing with all this tech gadget is that they don't really last long. Maybe, a couple of years. Just look at the Pcs and laptops that I've (you've) had through the years. It all died on me when I freaking least expected it to!

If I had saved up all those money, heck, I would have enough savings in my bank account right now to enjoy a two weeks vacation in Langkawi! LoL!

Well, I can't wait to get my grubby hands on it. I'll definitely blog about it here. Heh!

Anyway, these few days, I've been busy downloading stuff for my ipod. Yeah, the 'old' 5th gen video ipod. It's still working fine for me and I bring it to work everyday. Now, I've manage to install games into it and I'm freaking happy about it. The game is so much fun. Now, I can listen to my fav musics and also play games. Hurray!

Okay, the games isn't as flashy and hardcore like the FPS for my xbox. But, the puzzle games is interesting and quite addictive. You can play while on the bus, during lunch breaks or any free time you have. You can check out the games via iTunes or look it up via Yahoo! or Google.

Right. By the way, I realized today that Singapore is already on the iTunes accepted list. But, all the apps, games etc. are only for iPhone and iTouch. Yeah, I know. I thought, I could buy music and games for my ipod but they left it out. I don't freakin no why. You might want to ask Steve Jobs about that.

Can Alien build a Spaceship?

As promised, the other day. I told you readers, if any, that I'm going to talk about aliens!

Ha ha. I know, what's with the question?

Well, I like reading about UFOs and stuff. I also like watching movies about aliens phenomena or whatever. One question that pop up in my mind watching all the movies is that how did or can they build such big/small spaceships in the first place?

Just look at the aliens in all those movies. Look at their physics. Look at their fingers. If any. They are very much different physically then us. Personally, I have problem holding tools and putting wires together with my hands. I can get cramped just holding the newspaper to read!

So, how in the world can these aliens build any freaking thing, you wonder. And, can they even type in a keyboard or something to create complex codes for their computerized system?

MIT for aliens anyone?

Okay, okay!

I know, if they exist, in a sense they would have to follow the universal laws. We all live in the same universe right? They would have also known or have to learn about mathematical calculations (calculation of moons circling their planet for example), about the universe, about gravity, about engineering and so on. Because, our universe is govern by laws that already exist or set. Personally, I believe GOD set those laws. If not, the universe would be in total chaos! But, that's another matter. So, in a sense everything works the same way anywhere out there in the universe right now.

If any aliens wants to conquer us, and come to our solar system, they have got to have the intelligent, the skill, the technology, the physicality to build freaking BIG spaceships and weapons of mass destruction. They would have to know about the law of the atoms, they would have to learn about oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and whatever gas there is out there. They might not have the same physical characteristics as us as the world they live in might be totally different. Certainly, their physical traits would have been something that allow them to become builders of houses and machines. How can they build spaceships without all these knowledge and abilities?

So, all this is very complicated. If you're wondering why there's no sign of alien that can be found until now, then maybe there aren't any or they're too far away or that they are not as intelligent as us. Maybe, they don't have the physical form to build anything much less a spaceship. They might be in a form of an animal. Maybe in the form of worms, fungus, bacteria or whatever is out there. I think the environment that surround them would have help in their creation or evolution into lifeforms. Into thinking beings?

But, in spite of that. I believe in this universe that we're living in, there's nothing impossible. We can't close our mind to the possibility of life out there beside earth. Who knows right?

Life always find a way to exist in any kind of environments (National Geographic.. he he). Maybe, there's a kind of animal that's floating around up there outside earth. Maybe, there's something living inside the Sun. Life exist in such unexpected places. Because, we can't close our mind to any kind of possibility. The problem or questions would ultimately come back to us. It will show why we are here. Why are we able to live and cope in this world. Why do we even exist?

Yeah, there's a master plan to all of this. What's that? Maybe, you should think about that for yourself eh?

Opposition would ruin Singapore in 5 years?

Okay, I'm not really into politics. Even for a small country state like Singapore, which you can count the number of political parties with your fingers. Since, like I can remember, the only Party that ever has been in power is the P.A.P - People's Action Party. I haven't even vote once in my life!

I don't exactly know why. Well, maybe because, I used to work for the government. And, also, even after resigning from my post, I won't need to vote because, I think the P.A.P already won my constituency without even a wimp from the opposition candidates. Because, let's face it. If it ain't broke why fix it right?

The P.A.P and the now Mentor Minister Lee Kuan Yew,84 years of age, are what makes Singapore now. And, today's headline he stated that the Opposition party would ruin Singapore within 5 years. I tend to agree with him. Because as much as we want to criticize his comments, who would dare to disagree with him (okay maybe the opposition party)?

Just look at the Opposition party and their candidates. Judging by their looks and appearance, I just can't think they can do a better job then the P.A.P. Worse, after listening to the way and what they were talking about it seems all that they are interested about is bad-mouthing P.A.P. C'mon! I'm sure there's more other important stuff to talk about right?

The ordinary Singaporean, are not interested in which political party you are from. Our main interest? What's in it for us!

If you can show us that our children educations, our jobs, our very livelihood can be improve further then what the P.A.P have done all these years then, heck, game on!

What's funny is that some of this so-called Oppositions are going in and out of courts for spouting rubbish against the P.A.P where they should have been busying winning the people's heart. I mean, how can they prove their worth by wasting time in and out of courts?

They should be doing the grounds work. Meeting the people, talking to them. Listening to their problems and doing the best that they can do to help. Let's face it, the people are the one that would be voting for you. They need to know you, they need to meet you. They need to see what kind of people you are. You have to show them that you are the man or the woman to lead the people. If you're busy bad-mouthing other Oppositions what will the common people think of you?

They would say and think that you're an idiot and they'll just go about their daily lives. Let's face it, we're too busy working to put food on our table to care about what you're saying about the other party. Don't be an idiot and just go about laying the grounds work!

Also, I think the Oppositions party should change their image and also recruits good professionals and not just disgruntled candidates who in one way or another just happen to hate the P.A.P!

If you look at the P.A.P party. You'll know that this people are good professionals. They have 'nice' faces, good character and also good professionals. They are not the disgruntled type. Their motto is the people comes first. Unlike, some other politicians in other countries. Who are only interested in buying nice cars, nice house, nice jobs whereas the people suffers. What kind of politicians are these?

No wonder, since I can remember, people keep shouting the words "politician pigs!". There's even song written about these kind of politicians. Where all they care about is their own family and self. They keep all the money for themselves. Buy, expensive cars, jeweleries for their wife and children. What's worse is that even their children are not any better then their father. No wonder, people keep saying that rich people kids are so fuck up!

There's no freaking humility expected of them.

I remembered reading about a brave Islamic religious leader who 1000 years ago would always hold and stop the King's horse when passing through the market and shout to him to treat the people right. Take care of the people. Take care and feed the poor. Take care of the country. Do good. Help the orphans and the widows etc.

That's what it's all about. Now, I know if Saddam would have listen to this religious man teachings, I'm pretty sure he won't be hang like a dog!

Hey, I believe all the country leaders should listen to him.

Right, that's all I have to say for today. In this current world of selfishness, people should start to look into themselves and think what have they done for their own country. What have they done for the people. What have they done for each other. Instead of thinking about their own bloody self. It's time to help each other. It's time to do nice for each other. It's time for humility. It's time for moral value. It's time for change...

News Headlines: Four Killed in Pakistan Mosque Bombing.

So, here is the news again today. It's not really anything new right?

It's either they bomb the westerners, the so-called un-believers and now they even killed their own fellow Muslims. I don't care if you're a sunni or shiite or whatever. A fellow Muslim is like your own brother or sisters. If you can't or won't respect your own brother in Islam then what's there left for Islam?

But, that's how far Muslims have degraded themselves. Once, Muslims and Islam were regarded in high esteems. Now, the 'enemy' laugh at out own stupidity.

What prompted me to write this post is because today's news headline really hit it home to me. That now, even a mosque, a supposedly save haven for Muslims, are not safe anymore. What will the last prophet Muhammad -peace be upon him- say to all this?

Well, actually, he already knows. He already prophesied that in the future there will be billions of Muslims all over the world. Like the sand at the beach. But, we will be weaker then the first generations of Islam during the prophet time. You know, compared to the prophet time and now. There's more Muslims right now then 1000s years ago. But, what are we doing? We are destroying Islam with our own bare hands!

We are slowly hacking away at the strong base of Islam that the prophet have painstakingly build. The prophet and his small followers suffered for 13 years in Mecca before the people of Medina offered themselves to him. That's where Islam flourished for the next 10 years the prophet stayed. The hijrah or the journey from obscurity to greatness. The change that is needed. The change that forever changed the world!

Muslims of the prophet time, unlike now, doesn't kill each other. Are not separated by tribal or sectarians. Are not separated from the rich and poor. Young or old. Tall or short. Remember, Medina? The first Muslim state. How the prophet unite the people. He make them strong by uniting with marriage and brotherhood. The Muslims there fought for each other. That's how they grew. That's how they make Islam strong. That's how they achieve peace with each other. Islam is what ties the people. Of course, they had a good leader in the prophet. He's not just a simple man. He's the last prophet with guidance from ALLAH s.w.t, send through the angel Jibril a.s.

What happened when he died (job is done - remember that Muhammad s.a.w is just a man and every man dies. Only God lives forever)? All, those who hate Islam or hypocrites within Islam 'killed' it from the inside. And, sometime, the Muslims themselves are gullible in believing other un-sanctified doctrines and break from the original traditional Islam. They think, they're much clever then the prophet. What's work then surely work now right?

Who are we to think we're better then the last prophet? Messenger of God?

You know, Islam is not difficult. The fundamental is you believe in God, believe in Islam, believe in the last prophet, Muhammad (pbuh). Isn't that simple enough?

How do you know how strong Islam is?

Look at how the WORLD or countries tried to stop the woman of Islam from wearing the head scarf?

It's something simple. It's nice. It's beautiful. It's respect. It's to protect the woman. But, no. People, just hate it. Because, it's symbolized Islam. It's a symbol of how strong-willed the woman of Islam is. That they will protect it with their life. That's sacrifice for you. Will you ever sacrificed yourself for the purity symbol of a Muslim woman head scarf or purdah or whatever you want to called it?

They're not just protecting their rights to follow their religion and to wear the head scarf. But, they're protecting the dignity of Islam. The dignity of the woman of Islam. Just, let them wear the head scarf. Simple isn't it? What's the big deal? It's not a weapon, is it? How can a simple head scarf command such respect from the world? How can the world be afraid of a simple little scarf? Why do many people all over the world fight for a simple head scarf? That's Islam for you. Every minor thing can make a BIG difference.

You know, Islam is pure. Islam is simple. Islam is the savior of the universe. Don't dirtied it with your politics, wealth, guns or whatever you're fighting for. Fight, for your own soul. Worry, about how you can better your prayers. Worry about if God will ever accept your cry for forgiveness, for your sins. Big or small. Worry, about if you will ever get to smell the goodness of heaven.

Don't dirtied it with your blood money. Your fight for worthless land. God, will give you whatever you want in heaven. You want land? You want wealth? You want a big house? You want beautiful gardens? Beautiful woman? Then better yourself, better your heart and better your soul. Don't lose yourself in this mirage of a world. It's just a temporary abode. Soon, you will die. Everything dies. The universe will die. Then the journey to everlasting bliss will start. The end will be beautiful if you just open your eyes and see the truth. The facts. God, gave you eyes so that you can see. So, that you can judge for yourself. So, that you can better yourself. Better your soul. Don't fight for worthless worldly things. Don't fight for things worthless in this world because it won't last. Nobody, lives forever. Everybody, had their chances. So, take it. And, use it wisely.

The day, when the mosque is safe for every man and woman who wants to use it for prayers and protection. Which also includes for the un-believers seeking protection in it. Then, you will know the true religion is back. The beautiful Islam is back to where it once were. Right now, though? It ain't happening yet.

Close your eyes and sit in the corner of your room quietly and think about what I'm saying here.

P.S. For your info the mosque pic isn't the mosque bomb in Pakistan. It's one of the safest mosque you can find in Singapore or any other part of the world. I think, Singapore is one of those country where you can pray in peace and where politics and religion doesn't mix. Come to Singapore and see for yourself! It's a nice, green country!
