HP V8H07UT Elite X3 Lap Dock for Android Phone!

HP V8H07UT Elite X3 Lap Dock

Hey guys,

A quick post update!

I was checking out the HP V8H07UT ELITE X3 Lap Dock and seem like the price has gone down to $230 from $280+. So far, reading the comments from buyers, they all seem to love it. There is some problem like the touchpad not working correctly. But, other than that, this would be a great lap dock!

If you already have a Samsung phone like the note9 or S10, it works great with the HP lap dock. You'll be able to use it just like a laptop. Play games or check your emails on a bigger screen. You can use Samsung Dex or Linux on Dex which is ubuntu 16.04. A full Linux right on your phone!

If you're interested, you can get it via the link below:

HP V8H07UT Elite X3 Lap Dock

  • Go wired or wireless.
  • Talk, text and run mobile apps on your HP Elite x3 and work with Windows and corporate apps using Windows Continuum
  • Easily extend your HP Elite x3 with a large FHD screen and backlit spill-resistant keyboard.
  • Show and share your work on an external display or projector with the micro HDMI connector, and add your accessories with two USB-C ports.
  • Keep working with a generous 46.5 WHr battery, and get your HP Elite x3 back to full battery power with USB-C charging, even when the display is closed.

Pls, take note the description of the products are meant to be used with the HP Elite X3 phone. Which have a different mobile OS. But, since, it has USB-C ports, you can also use it with a Samsung phone. It's kinda cool that you can re-use this product with other phones.

This is just another way to enhance the usage of your phone. Since, you probably already have all your contacts, music, games, movies and even work on it. You can quickly open up the lap dock, connect your phone and you're in business.

I would prefer if Samsung, have their own lap dock. A simple way to dock your phone to recharge and use. But, so far, there isn't any news on it. I already bought myself a 13.3" portable monitor and it's really fun using Samsung Dex and playing around in Linux on Dex environment.

You can really use your phone as a mobile mini computer setup!

Samsung DexBook lapdock the future of mobile computing? Vote polls!

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus SM-G9750 - International Version - No Warranty in The USA - GSM ONLY, NO CDMA (Ceramic Black, 1TB/12GB)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Is Samsung DexBook lapdock the future of mobile computing?

*Note: Click here to vote and see how many people want the Samsung DexBook concept to become a reality poll!

If you're wondering, where can you get this? You'll be disappointed to know that it's just a concept. It's designed by a guy named, Kwanjun Ryu. You can check out his work here. Actually, this concept been out for almost a year plus and Samsung haven't picked up on this?

There are actually some alternatives lapdock out there. But, so far, the only one you can get right now is the Hp Elite X3 Lapdock. It's the closest to using your phone as a laptop. If you get yourself the dex pad, you can use it with any monitor or Tv. There's some kickstarters project you can check out. But, most of the design is the same.

I'm scratching my head, why Samsung isn't working on a 'dexbook' for their various phone like the S9, note 9 or S10. These phones have Samsung Dex and you can use it as a pc whenever you link to your monitor. You would have expected them to improve on the concept design and ready to ship out by now?

Right now, there's a Linux on dex beta that you can already download on play store. I'm sure there are many who would love to work on it with the DexBook. This is what mobile computing are all about. All the data and power are available on your mobile phone.

Okay, some might say, Motorola ATRIX, Microsoft and Hp already tried but failed. I'm not entirely sure why they did. Maybe, the time wasn't right yet. Or, the phone wasn't powerful enough. Just, maybe, people didn't like Microsoft? Lol :p

The difference in the world today is that everyone already has a powerful mini computer in their hands right now. Everywhere, you go, you see people taking photos, videos, listening to music or playing games. People are spending more time on their phone then on their pc.

In the past, I've been using my iPhone to take pictures and videos for work. We also use WhatsApp for group chat etc. I also like to take videos, edit it using iMovie and upload on my youtube channel. All these just by using my phone.

Now, I'm using a Samsung S10+. And, I'm loving it. I already bought myself the dex pad, and like to link it up to my big screen Tv. There are some android games that are console like and it's fun to play using my xbox one s controller. You can even turn your phone into a retro gaming machine.

Having, something like the DexBook will totally enhance my experienced. For example, I like to link my WhatsApp account to my pc. So, whenever anyone msg me, I'll reply via my computer. Typing, on the keyboard, is much better. I can even leave voice msg or video chat without ever looking at my phone.

My mom, like to video chat with my sis with her phone or tablet. Having, something like the DexBook will definitely enhance her experience too. She also likes to play games and watch youtube. She can do all this while charging her phone on the DexBook at the same time.

I'm pretty sure, there's a market for the DexBook right now. I think people are ready for an all-in-one device. Samsung has many popular phones with the various design but Samsung Dex will unite them all. So, even if you don't have the latest, it'll still be compatible with the DexBook for years to come!

Case in point? The HP V8H07UT Elite X3 Lap Dock !

Just hope, Samsung are reading this!

Samsung DeX Pad Desktop Experience for Samsung Galaxy Note8 , GS8, GS8+, GS9, and GS9+ W/ Fast Charge USB-C Wall Charger (US Version with Warranty)

HP V8H07UT Elite X3 Lap Dock

The Samsung DexBook, concept design look obviously better than the Hp or other kickstarters lap dock. It also integrates your phone usage with the laptop. You can use it as a trackpad or number pad. Add, security lock and unlock your phone with fingerprints or swipe.

There's a certain part of the design that they might want to change like the location of the speakers and having a fan below the phone dock. The phone will definitely get hot if you're playing games or just charging. It should be something like the Dex pad.

If someone called you on the phone, you can just answer or take off the phone from the dexbook. Once done, you can put it back or keep it. Who knows in the future, the pc or laptop will be obsolete and only become a shell to your phone.

Talking, about making the world a better place with less electronic trash!

Samsung Dex turns S10+ into a Gaming Console RUSH RALLY 3 gameplay! #samsungdex #dexhubstation

Get The Latest Docking Station for Samsung Dex on Amazon!

(All links will open up in a new tab.)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

If you have the latest Samsung S10+, get a Dex Hub and you can turn it into a gaming console. Okay, it's not the same as the Xbox or PS4. Get a mobile gaming fan if you're worried about the phone overheating. It happened to me once. The phone had to shut down.

Make sure you get a hub that includes a fast charge. You'll be able to use it as a portable charger. It's pretty light too. Bring it to work or school. You can dock your phone to it and start working or just relax playing Stardew Valley on the big monitor or TV.

The Dex hub allows you to work or play anywhere in the house. The kitchen, main hall, or bedroom. We bring and use our mobile phones practically everywhere. It's at the center of our life. We keep our photos, videos, movies, music and even work on it.

Instead of having separate devices, why not just have one main device. Everyone is using their phone. They're either watching TV shows, playing games, chatting, or messaging with their friends. It's their main choice of entertainment and communication.

The phone has become our main computer. Big computers, game consoles, and game companies need to adapt. We dream of a computer that can fit in our pockets. Well, the time has come. But, we need to improve on that.

For one thing, we want more full FPS, RPG, fighting, or racing games. The Play Store is full of games with in-app purchases and ads. Worst, 90% don't include keyboard, mouse, or controller support. That's a gaming sin!

There aren't any popular PC games ported to Android. A small touch screen will be a horrible gaming experience. With the dex hub, you can easily hook up your mouse, keyboard, or controller and start playing on the big monitor or TV.

The time is now for a change in the mobile game genre. No more crappy games in the play store. We want a console-like gaming experience. With the dex hub and more powerful phones, this can be achieved!

Using the Dex Hub and Samsung Dex desktop is the future. I'm also interested in checking out Linux on Dex. Linux is basically like using Windows. It has all the latest software and Steam. Free Linux games you can download and play.

I like to play around with Linux OS. It's cool if you can have it on your phone. Like having a full pc OS. It's not available on the Play Store. It is still in beta. Could be available soon in my region. Let's just wait and see.

I can't wait to try it out!

HP V8H07UT Elite X3 Lap Dock Samsung Dex for S10+

HP V8H07UT Elite X3 Lap Dock

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I just found out that you might be able to connect your S10+ to the HP V8H07UT X3 Lap dock and use Samsung Dex. And, it's not too expensive. Maybe, because, it's been around for quite awhile now. That would be way cool!

One good thing about this is that, your phone will be the main central computer. And, the laptop will be just an added accessories. Now, you don't have to carry around extra keyboard, mouse and portable monitor.

The HP Elite X3 Lap Dock, is an all-in-one accessory for your S10+. You can link your phone via dual usb-c cable or wirelessly. If you connect it via usb-c cable, you can even charge your phone at the same time. Pretty nifty, don't you think?

Now, that's what I call mobile computing. The S10+ and other phones are getting more powerful and it certainly can be an all-in-one workhorse for you. All you need are the ability to connect it to a projector, large tv or a monitor and you're ready to go.

If only Samsung, will do something like this. The dex pad are very useful and light. You can carry it around and just connect to basically anything. But, if you're on the road and you want a bigger screen with keyboard then something like the HP Lap dock would be nice!

How about it Samsung?

HP V8H07UT Elite X3 Lap Dock

  • Go wired or wireless.
  • Talk, text and run mobile apps on your HP Elite x3 and work with Windows and corporate apps using Windows Continuum
  • Easily extend your HP Elite x3 with a large FHD screen and backlit, spill-resistant keyboard.
  • Show and share your work on an external display or projector with the micro HDMI connector, and add your accessories with two USB-C ports.
  • Keep working with a generous 46.5 WHr battery, and get your HP Elite x3 back to full battery power with USB-C charging, even when the display is closed.

I'm actually wondering, if Samsung knew about the HP Elite X3. Because, lo and behold, you can pair this with your Samsung phone from an S9, note9 to an S10. Do you remember the Razer phone and laptop dock demo a year or two ago?

The mobile phone are already considered a mini computer inside your pocket. It can pretty much do what a laptop or pc can do right now. You can already check emails, read books, visit website, watch movies and of course listen to music.

You can link up your phone to a projector for a presentation, or watch movies on a bigger tv screen and play your favorite games. Although, you can't compare gaming on a console to a mobile phone, yet. What's worse are that most mobile games are not even a full game with lots of ads and in-purchased.

If good pc games can be ported to android. That's a good start. Imagine, being able to play Diablo or Skyrim on your phone. If you're tired of the small screen, you can just dock it to your laptop dock or to a dex pad.

Right now, there's already bigger storage, 1TB S10+ and microsd card. You can download all the big games you want and play it anytime and anywhere. You don't need a separate computer or laptop with separate hard drive anymore. You have a mini computer right in your pocket!

Are mobile computing the future?

It's been a long journey but we're getting there!
