I was thinking of getting an external gamepad for my Nintendo Switch lite. Even though I can't dock my switch lite to the big screen Tv but sometimes you feel like playing sitting down and with a gamepad.

There are many great and cool design controllers. I was looking around and then found this transparent design. Frankly, all of the controllers are the same to me. But, I was looking for something different and I really like the see-through housing shell.

This is not an RGB controller where you can have many LED lighting effects. I wish it is though. Nonetheless, the single blue led indicator light is still cool. You can also see the vibration through the clear case when you change the percentage.

My nephew says the transparent gamepad is ugly. Well, everyone has their own opinion and taste. He might not like it but I do. And, simply loving it. It's kinda cool to see the inside parts of the gamepad. I actually ordered an NDS lite clear housing shell yesterday. That's my coming project.

Yes, I still have an NDS lite and also an N3DS XL. I wish I can play my ds games on my Nintendo switch lite. If it was back compatible, it would have been better. Maybe, one day, they'll have those games available on NSO aka Nintendo Switch Online.

Right now, NSO is only full of retro games. This isn't bad as you have loads of popular retro fun. But what about NDS games? I also wish they'll add more stuff like movies, social media, apps, music, and others like those available on other online stores.

By the way, if you didn't know it, there's a Nintendo switch lite replacement housing shell too. I'm thinking of getting it. Not sure when. My switch lite is the special edition Zacian and Zamazenta edition. So, maybe I'll wait a while before replacing the shell housing.



This is definitely way cool. Why doesn't Nintendo sell this type of special edition Nintendo or switch lite?

I saw this camo anti-theft, waterproof sling bag, backpack, and thought I'll get it for my Nintendo switch lite. I saw the picture that a headset can even fit in. Well, it definitely can. But, it's a little tight if you also put in your switch lite case. An earpiece would save you weight and space.

In any case, a sling bag is for light usage. Maybe, for going to town or when meeting friends. So, you won't be needing or bringing too much stuff. This will be great for packing your switch lite when you're on the go. I definitely love this bag. Especially, the camo design.

There are certainly many types and colors you can choose from. My main preference would be camo but there's black, blue, red and grey. You'll also have to think about what you're mainly using it for. As the size might vary a bit.

For mine, I can fit in my 10.5 inch iPad pro and other small things. If you're bringing school stuff, laptop, and thick books, it'll be better if you just use a bigger bag. I don't think you should use a sling bag for carrying heavy stuff anyway. It'll probably hurt your back in the long run.

I'm actually thinking of getting a travel backpack and I'm eyeing one that looks pretty cool. It's also pretty big with lots of space and pockets. I love bags with many pockets. It'll be easier to keep everything nice and tidy. Also easier to access.

I don't like bringing too many bags with me when traveling and prefer all my stuff to be inside one big bag. I guess it depends on personal preferences and the intention of traveling. If you're going to be shopping for many things definitely one bag is not enough.

Well, I can't wait to be able to travel again. I think everyone is feeling the same. This covid-19 pandemic is really putting a bummer on all our plans. We have to remember that this is a novel virus. Means, it's something new. 

A lot needs to learn about this virus as it seems to be getting stronger and able to attack our immune system. Especially, the weak or with pre-condition. All of us need to work together and stop the virus from spreading. It's one of the ways to fight it.

Nintendo Switch lite SmileBASIC 4 Fun in Terminal!

I love playing with Linux and python terminal. If I learn something new, I'll quickly open up WSL aka Windows Subsystem for Linux and from there I can also access python 3. I'll test the code that I've just learned and see if it'll works. If it does, I'll be happy if not, I'll try to find out the problem. Sometimes, the mistake is just a letter and once you change to the correct letter, the code will run.

SmileBASIC 4, also has a terminal and you can quickly type out the keywords, command, or variables and you can run the code. I love testing out bit and pieces of the code and see if it works on the terminal. For example, you can play background music with 'BGMPLAY' and stop it with 'BGMSTOP'. Really cool. While dabbling, I'll have ideas that came to me and I'll try it out.



Nintendo Switch Lite - Zacian and Zamazenta Edition

Playing with code is really fun. The main objective of SmileBASIC 4 for the Nintendo Switch is for you to learn to code and be able to create your own game. I've followed part of the smilebasic tutorial and managed to make a 'Jumping King' game.

I'm thinking of combining that game into my 'Princess' story demo. If you're wondering what I'm talking about, watch the demo here. I'll turn the 'Jumping King' into the 'Jumping Princess'! Actually, I just copied the code. Although there's explanation, I still don't understand enough to make my own game. But, I'm learning though.

I'm glad, I don't need to take any kind of test. I'm learning coding just for fun. The problem is, I keep procrastinating to carry on following the tutorial. That's part of the reason, I decided to set up my switch lite desktop. I bought myself a phone stand but for the switch. A USB C dongle that can also charge my switch and finally a keyboard and mouse combo.

Coding, need lots of typing. I use to look on in awe when my boss, type without looking at the keyboard or monitor at work. I asked him, how long did it take to master the keyboard. He said he's been typing for 25 years. Can't really remember exactly how long but I thought I'll never be able to type like him. Turn out, it didn't really need that long.

I bought some software typing games and slowly learn to type without looking on the keyboard. It was really fun too. Right now, I'm typing on my Razer X Chroma Tournament mechanical keyboard and it's really comfortable. I have owned and used so many keyboards, but this keyboard for me is the best. Depends on your preferences though.

I already got myself the HP KM200 (unboxing video) mechanical keyboard and mouse combo the other day. And, it's not bad. But, I really am thinking of getting the 60% mini mechanical keyboard to be used with my switch lite. It's small, light and portability will be great if I want to bring it along when I travel. Of course, at the same time, I can also use it with my phone and other devices.

Anyway, don't forget to watch my smilebasic terminal demo video. Learning to code and dabbling around with them is really fun. Being able to create my own game on the switch lite is my ultimate goal and hope, I won't be too lazy to keep trying. lol!

I just bought a gaming keyboard and mouse combo from HP the other day. I actually bought it specifically to be used with my Nintendo switch lite. Not really for gaming but for learning coding with SmileBASIC 4 and FUZE 4. It's much easier and faster to type out the codes instead of using the on-screen keyboard.

Yesterday, I decided to try out the keyboard with some games on the switch lite but they all don't work. Just now I thought maybe it'll work with the Youtube app and it did. I can use the keyboard directional key to browse through the videos, type out a search, and 'escape' to get back to the page I was before.

That got me thinking, to play games with a keyboard and mouse actually depends on the game dev if they want their games to have keyboard and mouse support. Like for smilebasic and fuze, the program developer knows using a keyboard is important so they include the capability.

To me, it's the same case as gaming on a mobile phone. Not all games are built with controller support and worse, 99% don't even support keyboard and mouse. Popular games like Fortnite even ban gamer who use controller or mouse and keyboard.

Isn't it funny and stupid? Why would you ban gamer who wants to play their game with either a controller or mouse and keyboard? A gamer plays games because they like playing it and it's fun. Why would you cripple your game without those abilities?

Some gamer love playing with a controller and some prefer playing with a mouse and keyboard. I can assure you almost none like playing with a touch screen control. I for one hate them. Granted, touch screen games are just for casual gamers.

I think it took almost over a decade for the ability to play mobile games with an Xbox controller. Now, you can easily connect them with the latest Xbox or PlayStation controller via Bluetooth. I still remember doing an unboxing video of an Xbox controller for pc. That got thousand of views!

Of course, using controller to play games on a mobile phone and pc are common nowadays. But, in spite of how powerful the gaming phone is today, you still can't play popular console or pc games on it. I mean, download and play on it. Not those streaming craps with subscription fees. FFS!

That's why I love my Nintendo Switch and Nintendo switch lite. It's not because it's more powerful than an Xbox or PlayStation. But, because of its portability. Because of its flexibility. I've been dreaming of something like this for years.

My switch lite is a cross between a gaming pc/laptop/console and a gaming phone. It can play the latest console game and it's also as portable as a mobile phone. Depends on the switch or the switch lite, it already comes with a controller fixed to it.

My only gripe for the switch? Need games that support keyboard and mouse. And more social media or entertainment apps. That would be easy if Nintendo can work out something with the relevance industry and developers.

I've been thinking of getting a small, portable, and compact keyboard to be used with my switch lite. I search around and finally decided to get the HP (Hewlett-Packard) gaming keyboard and mouse combo KM200 (qoo10). It was on discount and fit my small budget.

Obviously, it's not small as it's a full-size keyboard with a numbers pad. That's my only biff with it. Being cheap, it's actually a decent light keyboard with a led backlit keyboard. There are only three patterns though. Dim, breathing, and off.

Like, I've said. I only bought it to be used with my Nintendo switch lite. I already have many various keyboards around the house but they're not backlit. Also, I thought I buy something new. This is the only one I like and being an HP brand helps too. 

I like the fonts of the keyboard. Something interesting compares to others mundane. And, when it's dark, the colorful backlit keyboard really bright. Not, that bright that it blinded your eyes. One thing is that the keys don't sound 'right' when press.

Frankly, my Razer Chroma Tournament keyboard that I'm typing on right now sounds and feels much better. That doesn't mean I don't like the keyboard. It's just a different feeling. This will also be a great backup keyboard for my main pc.

I'm using the mouse that came with the keyboard combo with my main pc. I'm supposed to use it with the switch lite set up but, I felt it's quality too 'good' for just occasional use. Anyway, my main mouse starting to give me an unwanted double clicking problem.

The mouse is definitely an added bonus. Been using it since yesterday and it's a tad heavy compared to my other cheap mouse. Which I got for free when I bought the Acer spin laptop. It has 6 buttons. Two at the side for browsing the net. You can press them to go back or forward a page.

I haven't use the mouse for gaming yet. So, I'm not really sure what's the advantage of the side buttons. Maybe, scrolling through your weapons or inventory? The main two buttons work as it should for me. I'm not really into the technical stuff. I don't even care for the DPI.



Nintendo Switch Lite - Gray

The important thing is that, when I use the HP KM200 with the switch lite, it works. The LED's backlit keyboard even lights up. I was relieved as that's the reason I wanted to buy it. But, I wonder if it'll eat up the switch battery too much.

I'm actually still waiting for an adapter that would allow me to hook up my keyboard/mouse and also charge the switch lite at the same time. So, I won't have to worry or the hassle of charging the switch lite when playing with it.

Once the adapter arrives, my switch lite desktop setup will be complete and I'll be able to learn and practice coding my own games with SmileBASIC 4 and FUZE 4. Yesterday, I use the keyboard to type the codes and it felt really good and definitely faster.

Learning and coding on the Nintendo switch with smilebasic 4 and fuze 4 is really fun. It actually helps me in understanding the other programming language like python. Sometime, after I learn something in smilebasic, I'll try it out on python and even though the command are a little different it's actually the same.
