RTX 3080 Gaming Laptop Are Now Available in 2021!

ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 (2021) Gaming Laptop, 15.6” 165Hz IPS QHD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, 32GB DDR4, 1TB SSD, Opti-Mechanical Per-Key RGB Keyboard, Windows 10 Pro, G533QS-XS98Q

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I've always been enamored by laptops. My first Pc was way back in 1995, I think. My first contact with a computer was in the 80s. It was on a military show. It has a black screen with green text. I pretty much hogged it till someone at the back cry out loud about it behind me.

For some reason, I felt really comfortable playing with a computer. It's like it was meant to be (cue heavenly music). After my military service, I got a job as a civil servant and had the chance to learn to use a computer. I learned pretty fast. Being young might have help.

I only really learned about a computer inside out once I got myself one. Yes, it was pretty expensive back then. I got one with an installment plan. After work, I'll always stop by a book store because they have a computer section.

I went there almost every day. Looking for something interesting that I can use on my computer. Like the latest games, music, and videos. They were still using windows 3.1 and every time Microsoft has the latest OS, I'll upgrade. Everything was new and shiny back then, miss the old days!

Later on, I began to look at laptops and itching to get one for myself. They're pretty expensive and with installments interest, it almost doubled the cost. But, I didn't really care. To be able to use a portable computer on the go was too enticing for me.

I didn't just get one, I'll use it for a while, sell it and get another latest brand and design. By the time I discovered Alienware, they're promoting the M11x. Couldn't get it but I managed to get the M14x. Yup, my first ever gaming laptop!

MSI GF75 Thin 10UE-069 17.3" 144Hz 3ms FHD Gaming Laptop Intel Core i7-10750H RTX3060 8GB 512GB NVMe SSD Win10

I definitely test and played the heck out of it. You can check out some of the gameplay and other laptops that I've owned on my channel. Of course, back then Youtube didn't exist, so some of the earlier laptops I got weren't recorded. I don't think the smartphone even exist back then.

Feeling old yet? Kids nowadays don't know how good they're having with techs right now. They got their pappy and mommy to buy for them the latest smartphones and laptops. But, one thing for sure. Even though they're still expensive the tech is much more advanced.

At CES 2021, a lot of companies announced their latest gaming laptops with the latest Nvidia RTX 30 series. Now, some of them are already available on their main website and other online stores like Amazon. Specs-wise, they're basically all the same and pretty much depends on laptop design and budgets.

Asus claims to use a new kind of liquid-metal cooling and fan system for all their 2021 gaming laptop. I'll like to see how good it is. One of the main problems with my Alienware gaming laptop back then was the thermal cooling system and loud fans.

2021 Newest ASUS TUF Dash 15.6" Gaming Laptop, 240Hz FHD, Intel Core i7-11370H, Nvidia RTX 3070, 24GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 6, VR Ready, HDMI, Win10, Ghost Manta Accessories

Any of these laptops RTX 3080 laptop could do anything your throw at it. I don't mean just games. But the minimum ram will be 16GB. I read somewhere that DDR5 Rams will soon be available but I don't see it sold anywhere. Maybe, it's not ready yet. I think it's about time for the latest version.

My current gaming desktop specs which I bought a couple of years back has 16GB of Ram and GTX 1060 3GB. It still works great. I can record gameplay, edit it and upload it to my channel without any kind of hiccups. Not sure if it can play the latest games as I haven't bought any for a while now.

I'm just saying that nowadays, even if you buy a budget gaming laptop with a GTX graphics card it's already good enough. The worst is that you can just lower the resolution and set it to mid-high settings. My budget HP AMD Ryzen 7 laptop with Radeon RX Vega 10 can even play Dirt 4 but with lower resolutions and low-mid settings. Pretty cool!

Of course, if I have the money or sponsors, I'll want to try any of these RTX 3080 gaming laptops. Hopefully, some rich filthy company reading this post would want to sponsor me one. Yup, the itch is definitely still there. One last thing is that I suddenly wonder if next year, they'll come out with RTX 4000 series next?

Lenovo Legion 2021 Gaming Laptop Innovation

2021 Newest Lenovo Legion 7i Gaming Laptop, 15.6" FHD 144Hz Screen, Intel Core i7-10750H Processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super Max-Q, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, RGB Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10, KKE Bundle

Hey guys,

Check it out!

If you have been reading my blog, you'll know that laptop design is pretty important to me. Especially, a gaming laptop. There is one laptop that always catches my eyes but I'm not really sure what attracts me to it.

I used to work as an office building technician and there's one laptop brand that is pretty commonly used. Lenovo. Not really sure why everyone using them. Maybe, it's company-sponsored although it is touted as a business laptop.

2021 Newest Lenovo Legion 7i Gaming Laptop, 15.6" FHD 144Hz Screen, Intel Core i7-10750H Processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super Max-Q, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, RGB Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10, KKE Bundle

Most of the Lenovo laptops that were used are old. Some are still using Windows 7. Well, that was a couple of years back. Maybe, they have updated to the latest. The latest Lenovo laptop design is not that bad either. They're now slim and modern looking.

I was actually surprised when I found out later on that Lenovo actually has their own gaming laptop department. And, they look pretty good too. Nothing fancy, just nice black, straight business-like, sharp design. Wish, I could test how good they are at gaming though.

I'm considering getting a 2nd-hand Lenovo laptop and turn it into a Linux laptop. I don't know why I prefer Lenovo. They seem to be on better offer than the rest. Also, like I said, their business like design is very enticing to me. Especially, the recent version.

Lenovo has announced their new laptops with the latest Nvidia RTX 30 series and AMD Ryzen 5000. So, you might want to look out for that. If you want something affordable but still able to play the latest triple-A games, then anything latest than GTX is already pretty good.

Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming Laptop, 15.6" FHD (1920x1080) IPS Screen, AMD Ryzen 7 4800H Processor, 16GB DDR4, 512GB SSD, NVIDIA GTX 1660Ti, Windows 10, 82B1000AUS, Phantom Black

Lenovo is pretty much the Blackberry of the business world. To me personally. Their design and specs policy is mainly base on business usage. Blackberry, should have its own laptop and desktop department. Not sure why they only concentrate on mobile.

In any case, it's interesting that Lenovo decides to have their own gaming laptop and desktop. But, I'm not sure how popular it is with gamers. In fact, it's a brand I seldom heard or see people talk about. Even, I'm not sure if it's a brand I should look at when getting a gaming laptop.

2020 Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17.3" HD+ Laptop Computer, AMD Ryzen 7-3700U Processor, 12GB RAM, 1TB HDD+128GB SSD, AMD Radeon Vega 10 Graphics, Dolby Audio, HD Webcam, Windows 10, Grey, 32GB SnowBell USB Card

The Lenovo laptop specs above are almost the same as my HP AMD Ryzen 7. It even has the same Radeon RX Vega 10 integrated mobile graphics. My HP unboxing video is pretty popular. But, I'm not sure why it is. Although, it's probably the design.

That's why I keep saying, a product design is important. You should give a good first impression of your products. If at the onset, people don't like your design, it doesn't matter if your specs are way better and cheaper than the others.

ASUS - ROG Zephyrus G14 14" Ultra-Slim Gaming Laptop - AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q 24GB DDR4 RAM, 1024GB PCIE SSD, 0TB HDD, Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10 Home Moonlight White

I would definitely have got the G14 if I had the money. But, then again, the RTX 30 series and AMD 5000 gaming laptop will probably be available soon. Not all laptops are offering it right now. I guess they need to do design and testing before rolling it out.

Hopefully, I'll have enough money in the future to get one. Would be great if any of the companies would sponsor me their latest gaming laptop. I love laptops and had bought and use many brands throughout the years.

The funny thing is, there's actually no company that I'm really a fan of. Well, I used to love Alienware. Not anymore. Nowadays, I'm more into the design than the specs. If you have the money, you'll want the latest and the best specs but, if you don't like me, the HP is good enough.

If you have the money, take a look at what Lenovo can offer. You might be surprised!

MSI 17 Inch Gaming Notebook NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 16GB

CUK GE76 Raider by_MSI 17 Inch Gaming Notebook (Intel Core i7, 32GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 16GB, 17.3" FHD 300Hz 3ms IPS-Level, Windows 10 Home) Gamer Laptop Computer

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I've been talking about and promoting the Asus ROG gaming laptop since last year. It's all because of their latest cool ROG Zephyrus G14 with Anime Matrix. Gaming laptop design is as important to me as much as the specs. That goes for other products too.

One of my favorite gaming laptops that I actually owned was the Alienware M14x. It has a cool design with the latest specs and I was able to play most triple-A games on it. Although, it started to lag after a few years. I even send it for servicing and upgrade the HDD. Finally, trade it for a PS VITA and some games.

CUK GE76 Raider by_MSI 17 Inch Gaming Notebook (Intel Core i7, 32GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 16GB, 17.3" FHD 300Hz 3ms IPS-Level, Windows 10 Home) Gamer Laptop Computer

You can check out my old Alienware M14x gaming laptop gameplay here on my youtube channel. Of course, you can't compare it to the more powerful gaming laptops today. And, MSI is one of those companies that offer several versions of it.

Frankly, I haven't really seen any of MSI's latest gaming laptops. So, MSI marketing department, if you happen to read my blog, why don't you send me one. I'll definitely like to check out the design a bit closer and see how well it run games. Hehe!

MSI Stealth 15M Gaming Laptop: 15.6" 144Hz FHD 1080p Display, Intel Core i7-11375H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, 16GB, 512GB SSD, Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 6, Win10, Carbon Gray (A11UEK-009)

I have never owned a 17-inch size gaming laptop. I remember they were pretty big and bulky back then. They had a full keyboard with a number pad. The latest MSI 17.3 inch laptop looks pretty slim although the keyboard looks a little cramp.

My HP 15.6 AMD Ryzen 7 laptop has a full keyboard and it doesn't look as cramp as the MSI laptop. I also like the placement of my speakers which are located on top of the keyboard and pretty loud. One thing though, the arrow keys are pretty small. Kinda difficult to play racing games using them.

CUK GE76 Raider by_MSI 17 Inch Gaming Notebook (Intel Core i7, 64GB RAM, 2TB NVMe SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 16GB, 17.3" FHD 300Hz 3ms IPS-Level, Windows 10 Home) Gamer Laptop Computer

My HP laptop is not a gaming laptop. It only has the Radeon RX Vega 10 integrated mobile graphics. But, I really like the light and slim design. So, I will always compare it to other laptops. My laptop also has a fingerprint sensor. Nowadays, with the gaming laptop price, they should also have it.

I didn't really care about fingerprint sensors on laptops in the past. But, after using it, now I simply love it. It's really fast to login. Unlike, in the past. I don't think MSI has them. They might want to include that in future designs.

CUK GS66 Stealth by_MSI 15 Inch Gaming Notebook (Intel Core i7, 64GB RAM, 2TB NVMe SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q 16GB, 15.6" FHD 300Hz 3ms, Windows 10 Pro) Professional Gamer Laptop Computer

I also like the webcam camera. I don't know why Asus decide to go away with them. Especially, during a pandemic time when people use them for checking up with their friends, families, and even video-conferencing with colleagues.

My HP laptop has a front 720p camera so it's pretty good. But, the pics aren't good in the dark. I also used to take videos for my youtube channel. The laptop should always have a webcam. Front and back. With people making youtube videos nowadays, wouldn't it be useful for them to use it to take at least 1080p videos?

Ok, nobody is going to walk around taking videos with their laptop (what if it's a folding laptop?). But, if you're going to use it when you're at home or for certain circumstances when you're out and about? Anyway, MSI now has the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 and I really want to know how good it is for gaming and maybe for my recording and video editing. And, where's the AMD version?

In the end, though, everyone has their own design preferences and budgets. So, it's really up to you.

In 2021 Nintendo Switch Lite Still Best Portable Gaming Console

Nintendo Switch Lite - Zacian and Zamazenta Edition

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Yes, it's still January 2020 and I'm already stating that the Nintendo Switch lite is still the best portable gaming console? You can say the Xbox Series X or PS5 is the most advanced gaming console. But, who cares? Yes, I love beautiful graphics too. It's not like I've never owned an Xbox or a Sony Playstation.

In fact, if I can remember correctly the Playsation One was the first-ever gaming console that I bought with my own bonus work pay. I went to visit my colleague's house and was pretty impressed with the latest 3D graphics. Decided there and then to get one. But, I bought the modified version. Hehe!

Nintendo Switch Lite - Zacian and Zamazenta Edition

I still have 100s of those games that I bought 3 for $10 deals. Hoping one day, I can get the same PS1 modified version. It got fried because I was fed up that I had to keep on and off the thing to play. I plug it directly without the adapter in anger.

The stupid thing is that my Xbox 360 and PS3 also got that same kind of 'ROD'. I stopped playing console games for a long while. Well, I bought a gaming laptop, an Alienware M14x. Bought games via Steam of course. Later on, I trade my old M14x for the PS VITA which includes some games.

PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Model Crystal Black Limited edition (PCH-1100AB01)

That's how cheap my Alienware M14x had become. Although, I think it has a problem with over-heating. And, the casing was going sticky. When it just came out, it was probably the best gaming laptop ever. You can basically play anything on it.

The main thing with the Alienware M14x or M11x was the portability. I'm not sure about other gamers but being able to play a triple-A game on the go has always been my dream. Yeah, you have the handheld console, but the games aren't a console-quality.

Nintendo Switch with Neon Blue and Neon Red Joy‑Con - HAC-001(-01)

When I bought the New Nintendo 3DS XL, I was already impressed with its features and games. I love RPG games and the 3DS have loads of them. But, of course, it can't play triple-A games, especially FPS shooter. There were one or two but not console level.

I was hoping Nintendo will improve on it. Instead, it came out with the 2DS. When they suddenly announced the Nintendo Switch, I wasn't really excited or impressed. Especially, since the early games weren't the usual Triple-A popular FPS or RPG.

Fifa 21 (Switch) (Nintendo Switch)

That's when they announced games like FIFA18 and Skyrim will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. My nephew was as excited as me as he wanted to play FIFA 18 on the portable console. The thoughts of being able to play a real console game on the go were pretty enticing.

So, on a whim, I finally gave in and bought the Nintendo Switch. Even though, I recently bought an Xbox One S Gears of War edition. Gears of War is one of my favorite console games, and I'm wishing that I'll actually be able to play it on my Nintendo Switch lite.

One Netbook OneGx1 Handheld Windows 10 Laptop Video Game Console Portable Gameplayer 7 Inch 1920 × 1200 Mini Pocket Laptop Intel 10th CPU CoRE I5-10210Y Ultrabook UMPC Tablet PC (16GB/512GB+WiFi)

I still love a gaming laptop and one that caught my eye is the One Netbook OneGx1 portable gaming laptop. I saw a black color version the other day and it looks way cool. Can't seem to find that version anywhere. The black color actually makes the controller which is sold separately much more appealing to the eyes.

I was wondering if you can buy a retractable controller for the tablet or iPad and use it together with the laptop. The controller design is definitely much nicer. For God's sake people, if you design anything, make it looks sleek and cool. Also, would be nice if it comes with RGB lighting effects.

Well, that's why I love my Nintendo Switch lite which is the Zacian & Zamazenta version. If there's Spotify, Netflix, and other social media apps available for the Switch, it'll definitely enhance the entertainment system. It is right now to me, the King of the portable gaming system, and hell yeah, I can play Crysis on it!

By the way, about time, they upgrade the Nintendo Switch system. Let's talk about that some other day!
