Lenovo Legion 2021 Gaming Laptop Innovation

2021 Newest Lenovo Legion 7i Gaming Laptop, 15.6" FHD 144Hz Screen, Intel Core i7-10750H Processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super Max-Q, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, RGB Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10, KKE Bundle

Hey guys,

Check it out!

If you have been reading my blog, you'll know that laptop design is pretty important to me. Especially, a gaming laptop. There is one laptop that always catches my eyes but I'm not really sure what attracts me to it.

I used to work as an office building technician and there's one laptop brand that is pretty commonly used. Lenovo. Not really sure why everyone using them. Maybe, it's company-sponsored although it is touted as a business laptop.

Most of the Lenovo laptops that were used are old. Some are still using Windows 7. Well, that was a couple of years back. Maybe, they have updated to the latest. The latest Lenovo laptop design is not that bad either. They're now slim and modern looking.

I was actually surprised when I found out later on that Lenovo actually has their own gaming laptop department. And, they look pretty good too. Nothing fancy, just nice black, straight business-like, sharp design. Wish, I could test how good they are at gaming though.

I'm considering getting a 2nd-hand Lenovo laptop and turn it into a Linux laptop. I don't know why I prefer Lenovo. They seem to be on better offer than the rest. Also, like I said, their business like design is very enticing to me. Especially, the recent version.

Lenovo has announced their new laptops with the latest Nvidia RTX 30 series and AMD Ryzen 5000. So, you might want to look out for that. If you want something affordable but still able to play the latest triple-A games, then anything latest than GTX is already pretty good.

Lenovo is pretty much the Blackberry of the business world. To me personally. Their design and specs policy is mainly base on business usage. Blackberry, should have its own laptop and desktop department. Not sure why they only concentrate on mobile.

In any case, it's interesting that Lenovo decides to have their own gaming laptop and desktop. But, I'm not sure how popular it is with gamers. In fact, it's a brand I seldom heard or see people talk about. Even, I'm not sure if it's a brand I should look at when getting a gaming laptop.

The Lenovo laptop specs above are almost the same as my HP AMD Ryzen 7. It even has the same Radeon RX Vega 10 integrated mobile graphics. My HP unboxing video is pretty popular. But, I'm not sure why it is. Although, it's probably the design.

That's why I keep saying, a product design is important. You should give a good first impression of your products. If at the onset, people don't like your design, it doesn't matter if your specs are way better and cheaper than the others.

I would definitely have got the G14 if I had the money. But, then again, the RTX 30 series and AMD 5000 gaming laptop will probably be available soon. Not all laptops are offering it right now. I guess they need to do design and testing before rolling it out.

Hopefully, I'll have enough money in the future to get one. Would be great if any of the companies would sponsor me their latest gaming laptop. I love laptops and had bought and use many brands throughout the years.

The funny thing is, there's actually no company that I'm really a fan of. Well, I used to love Alienware. Not anymore. Nowadays, I'm more into the design than the specs. If you have the money, you'll want the latest and the best specs but, if you don't like me, the HP is good enough.

If you have the money, take a look at what Lenovo can offer. You might be surprised!

Hey guys,

Check it out!

If ever there was an ultimate gaming laptop that I'll actually have a wet dream of, it's the latest Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Moonlight White with Anime Matrix. Part of the charm is that it doesn't look like any other gaming laptop with a weird and out-of-the-world design.

Simplicity is Zen. I love how clean it looks. Another attraction of the laptop is of course the LEDs on the cover. I believe you can show off anything you like across it. I would love it if it's RGB so you can turn it into a freaking light show but I guess again, their motto is, keep it simple.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 14" VR Ready 120Hz FHD Gaming Laptop,8Core AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS(Beat i7-10750H),16GB RAM,1TB PCIe SSD,Backlight,Wi-Fi 6,USB C,NVIDIA GeForce RTX2060 Max-Q,Win10 (Moonlight White)

  • 14in Full HD Display with 1920 x 1080 Resolution with 120Hz refresh rate, Latest AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS(beat 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10750H), 8 Core processor up to 4.30GHz
  • 1TB SSD, 16GB DDR4 RAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q graphics Backed by 6GB GDDR6 dedicated video memory, Virtual Reality Ready
  • Speakers with Smart AMP Technology and Dolby Atmos, Two 2.5W speakers produce incredible Dolby Atmos sound, Wireless/Wired connectivity (WiFi 6 - 802.11 ax)
  • Chiclet keyboard with white backlight, Allows you to enjoy comfortable and accurate typing, even in dim lighting., Weighs 3.64 lbs. and measures 0.7" thin, Windows 10 Home
One thing though, I hope they'll have a 15.6-inch screen update. A better front and back camera for video calling and taking videos. Most of the time, I'll use my iPad pro to take videos, edit, and upload them to my youtube channel. So, a good camera is pretty useful.

This laptop will not just be my gaming laptop but also a workhorse for my blog and youtube channel. I'm actually using my gaming computer right now. I bought it around 2-3 years back. It got an intel i7 CPU, GTX 1060 3GB, and 16GB ram. Nowadays, these kinds of specs are pretty common.

I haven't had any problem with it except with the HDD. I need to upgrade my main SSD from its original 120GB. It's definitely not enough. If I'm getting anything new, these specs will be the minimum. Unless, of course, if you just want some cheap laptop for general usage.

The pic above is my current laptop, HP 15s with AMD Ryzen 7,  8GB of Ram, and Radeon RX Vega 10 mobile graphics. It's not a gaming laptop. Especially, with only the Vega 10 graphics. You can play some triple-A games but you'll have to set it to low-medium and lower the resolution.

You can watch the unboxing video of my laptop here. The video is surprisingly popular. I'm not sure why but probably based on how it looks. It actually looks like my dream laptop the Asus G14. That's why I got it. It's obviously, much cheaper.

I actually love my current laptop. That's why I hope Asus will come out with a G15. The same 15.6-inch screen and a full keyboard with a number pad. Just like my HP. I wonder how the G14 speakers are as mine are pretty good. Located above the keyboard.

My laptop also has a fingerprint sensor which is definitely better than those available in the past. The G14 has it integrated with the power button. If HP has this same design but with the same specs as the G14, I won't mind getting an HP gaming laptop. Currently, they don't have it.

Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 14" FHD 120Hz Premium Gaming Laptop, AMD 8-core Ryzen 9 4900HS, 24GB RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, NVIDIA RTX 2060 Max-Q 6GB, Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10 + Woov 32GB MicroSD Card

HP needs to come out with something like the G14 anime matrix though. I was thinking earlier of a maybe small 5inch touchscreen at the laptop cover. Which you can use to control a music player or some notifications received on your laptop.

Wouldn't that be cool? It's what I've been thinking since, especially in school, you'll see students holding their laptops and listening to music from them. Most laptops will sleep if you close them, so you'll need to open them up to listen to music or control the player. If you can control the music from the laptop cover, that'll be much easier.

Anyway, if somehow, I'm rich by then, hopefully, they'll already have the Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 with the cool Anime matrix. I'm definitely going to get it. That'll be my ultimate gamer's wet dreams. My saliva just drips thinking of it. Lol!
