Hey guys,
Check it out!
I was updating my new HP 5s AMD Ryzen 7 with Radeon Rx Vega 10 graphics and decided to download some of my favorite STEAM games. Although, I don't want to download too big size game. They'll eat up my storage space, fast!
I end up testing playing Ultra Street Fighter IV and make a video of it. The game isn't really demanding as it can also play on my Intel Celeron N4200 with HD502 graphics if I'm not wrong. But, it plays pretty smoothly. Also, you can hear how loud the speaker is.

The speaker is really what impresses me. If you had owned any laptop in the past, the speaker is one of the worst in almost all of them. What makes it worst for me is that I only have a good right ear. I'll pump up the volume so loud, everyone in the house is complaining to me to lower it down.
Now, everyone is going to ask me to lower down my laptop speaker volume. Yesterday night, I actually lowered down the volume to almost 50%. Because it's pretty loud even for me. That's how good the HP 5s speaker is to me.
HP 15 Laptop, 15.6" HD Touch Display, AMD Ryzen 7 3700U Upto 4.0GHz, 16GB RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD, Vega 10, HDMI, Card Reader, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Windows 10 Pro
One thing to note is that the laptop design looks like an Apple Macbook pro. I remember seeing the speaker at the same position on top of the full keyboard. Talking about the keyboard, I'm also impressed with the HP laptop keyboard. Yesterday, I used it to type my article and it doesn't feel flat or shallow.
I like the backlit keyboard. The keys have just the correct height and size. It feels smooth and pretty tight. I have never felt this comfortable typing on a laptop keyboard. Almost as nice as typing on my Razer Chroma mechanical gaming keyboard. If you listen carefully, you can even hear the "click"!
HIDevolution ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401IV, Moonlight White 14" FHD 120Hz, 3.0 GHz Ryzen 9 4900HS, RTX 2060 Max-Q, 16 GB 3200MHz RAM, 1 TB PCIe SSD
If you have read my last post. You know, my wishlist to get the latest Asus Rog Zephyrus G14. Especially, with the led light at the back. That is pretty cool. I actually bought the HP 5s because I thought it almost looks like the G14. Although, now I actually preferred HP 5s much bigger 15.6-inch screen.
I like the 7-inch small laptop, even with a small screen. I was actually thinking of getting one. But, then I saw the HP 5s on offer and decided to go for a 'normal' laptop. I had bought many laptops throughout the years and the tech definitely improving. Practically, on par with a gaming PC.
Playing Ultra Street Fighter IV with my camo Xbox 1 controller.
I like linking my phone to my PC or laptop. That's why I like my Samsung Note 10+. You can link via Microsoft Your Phone companion app or best of all Samsung Dex. Easily, turn your laptop into an Android laptop. This is where I actually enjoyed the HP 5s 15.6 bigger widescreen.
The good thing about Your companion app is that you can wireless connect to your laptop. But, Samsung dex, you'll have to connect via a USB C cable. A little hassle than the latter. To think, I wasn't thinking of getting a laptop for years now but because of the Asus G14, I'm interested in getting one now.
I've now recovered my passion for the gaming laptop again. Which, I have lost when I've sold my Alienware M14x. You can check out my gameplay video on that laptop here. Those were some good times. And of course, good games too. Real games, one time buy and that's it. Now? Keep paying for bullshits with ads or paying for a character upgrades when it should have been free!
