HP 5s AMD RYZEN 7 3700U RADEON RX VEGA 10 ULTRA STREET FIGHTER IV gameplay

Newest HP Envy X360 2 in 1 15.6" FHD Touchscreen Laptop, AMD 4th Gen 8-Core Ryzen 7 4700U (Beat i7-8550U), 16GB RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, Backlit Keyboard, Fingerprint Reader, Windows 10

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I was updating my new HP 5s AMD Ryzen 7 with Radeon Rx Vega 10 graphics and decided to download some of my favorite STEAM games. Although, I don't want to download too big size game. They'll eat up my storage space, fast!

I end up testing playing Ultra Street Fighter IV and make a video of it. The game isn't really demanding as it can also play on my Intel Celeron N4200 with HD502 graphics if I'm not wrong. But, it plays pretty smoothly. Also, you can hear how loud the speaker is.

The speaker is really what impresses me. If you had owned any laptop in the past, the speaker is one of the worst in almost all of them. What makes it worst for me is that I only have a good right ear. I'll pump up the volume so loud, everyone in the house is complaining to me to lower it down.

Now, everyone is going to ask me to lower down my laptop speaker volume. Yesterday night, I actually lowered down the volume to almost 50%. Because it's pretty loud even for me. That's how good the HP 5s speaker is to me.

One thing to note is that the laptop design looks like an Apple Macbook pro. I remember seeing the speaker at the same position on top of the full keyboard. Talking about the keyboard, I'm also impressed with the HP laptop keyboard. Yesterday, I used it to type my article and it doesn't feel flat or shallow.

I like the backlit keyboard. The keys have just the correct height and size. It feels smooth and pretty tight. I have never felt this comfortable typing on a laptop keyboard. Almost as nice as typing on my Razer Chroma mechanical gaming keyboard. If you listen carefully, you can even hear the "click"!

If you have read my last post. You know, my wishlist to get the latest Asus Rog Zephyrus G14. Especially, with the led light at the back. That is pretty cool. I actually bought the HP 5s because I thought it almost looks like the G14. Although, now I actually preferred HP 5s much bigger 15.6-inch screen.

I like the 7-inch small laptop, even with a small screen. I was actually thinking of getting one. But, then I saw the HP 5s on offer and decided to go for a 'normal' laptop. I had bought many laptops throughout the years and the tech definitely improving. Practically, on par with a gaming PC.

Playing Ultra Street Fighter IV with my camo Xbox 1 controller.

I like linking my phone to my PC or laptop. That's why I like my Samsung Note 10+. You can link via Microsoft Your Phone companion app or best of all Samsung Dex. Easily, turn your laptop into an Android laptop. This is where I actually enjoyed the HP 5s 15.6 bigger widescreen.

The good thing about Your companion app is that you can wireless connect to your laptop. But, Samsung dex, you'll have to connect via a USB C cable. A little hassle than the latter. To think, I wasn't thinking of getting a laptop for years now but because of the Asus G14, I'm interested in getting one now.

I've now recovered my passion for the gaming laptop again. Which, I have lost when I've sold my Alienware M14x. You can check out my gameplay video on that laptop here. Those were some good times. And of course, good games too. Real games, one time buy and that's it. Now? Keep paying for bullshits with ads or paying for a character upgrades when it should have been free!

HP 15s AMD RYZEN 7 3700U RADEON RX VEGA 10 LAPTOP

HIDevolution ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401IV, Moonlight White 14" FHD 120Hz, 3.0 GHz Ryzen 9 4900HS, RTX 2060 Max-Q, 16 GB 3200MHz RAM, 1 TB PCIe SSD

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I finally, got myself a new laptop. An HP 15s with AMD RYZEN 7 3700U, RADEON RX VEGA 10 Graphics. It only has 8GB ram, wish it was 16GB like my main, Aftershock gaming pc. But, this will do for now. It also has 512GB, now left with 400+GB, SSD. I'll wish it was 1TB too. I definitely, would have gone for higher specs but, with budget constraints, this is basically, what I can get.

I'm not really complaining though, as I'm typing on it right now and been playing with it since yesterday. I must say, this keyboard feels kinda different and new, compares to my other laptop and keyboard. It's also a full keyboard, surprisingly backlit and with a number pad. I haven't used a full keyboard with a number pad for a long while that I didn't even realize I was using the pad enter key. All the while wondering, how come the size is different?

HP 15-inch HD Laptop, AMD Ryzen 7 3700U Processor, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, Windows 10 Home (15-ef0022nr, Natural Silver)

Frankly, I don't like big laptops. To me, the smaller the better. But, I'm liking how big and wide this 15.6-inch screen is. Am, actually enjoying it. I can actually see better. Especially, when I'm wearing spectacles. I can't remember how many HP laptops I've owned but, I can only remember getting a free mini laptop several decades ago.

I'm not buying this laptop to play games. As I don't play much pc games anymore. But, of course, I'll be testing out some games on it. I'm pretty sure, it can play all my old STEAM collections. This laptop was actually on a special offer price. Got it for around USD$645. It was selling at a higher price last week. Also, it comes with free gifts. A laptop bagUSB dongle, and a Bluetooth mouse.

HIDevolution ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401IV, Moonlight White 14" FHD 120Hz, 3.0 GHz Ryzen 9 4900HS, RTX 2060 Max-Q, 16 GB 3200MHz RAM, 1 TB PCIe SSD

Ok, I have to confessed that I bought this laptop because it almost has the same design and color as the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop. Which I would have got if I had the money. Part of the reason, I bought an AMD laptop instead of the intel with the NVIDIA graphics card. I have actually owned an AMD laptop before but wasn't really satisfied with its graphics card back then.

I hope, this mid-range gaming laptop would do better. But, like I've said, I'm not really buying this for gaming. I prefer gaming on my Nintendo Switch lite. Which is way more portable and the only gaming device, I'll bring along whenever I go out. Unless, of course, I need a laptop when I travel or maybe going on a long holiday. This 15-inch laptop is going to be pretty useful.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Factory Unlocked Cell Phone with 256 GB (U.S. Warranty), Aura Black/ Note10+

Whenever, I use my pc or right now, the laptop, I'll always connect my Samsung Note 10+ to it. I can easily access my phone notifications, msg, photos, and Whatsapp via Microsoft Your Phone companion. And, with a Samsung phone, you can use the Samsung Dex. A much better desktop user interface (UI). My much older laptop with Intel Celeron N4200 is a bit laggy when using Samsung dex.

The design of the laptop actually reminds me of an Apple laptop. It's not that heavy and is pretty slim. I love the cool, slick silver design. Yesterday, I test out the sound and it's pretty loud. The speaker is just above the keyboard. I also tried listening to some youtube music via my Razer headphone and it's pretty loud too. Wish, there was more bass but, I'm half-deaf anyway, so, as long as it's loud and clear, I'm fine with it.

HP 15 Laptop, 15.6" HD Touch Display, AMD Ryzen 7 3700U Upto 4.0GHz, 16GB RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD, Vega 10, HDMI, Card Reader, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Windows 10 Pro

I actually didn't think I would want to buy a laptop anymore since I bought my gaming PC a couple of years ago. But, the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 designed actually makes me want to buy a gaming laptop again. I sure missed my Alienware M14X. I might not get it now, but who knows. For now, though, I'm pretty happy with this HP, AMD RYZEN laptop. It's no slouch either.

I just on the power to my laptop as I've been using it since 9am (it's now 11:30 a.m) which was already down at 90%. A bit surprised as I know, it was full when I off it. Seems like it couldn't retain the battery power. I forget it was doing some BIOS updating before logging in. I'll say, the battery can last around 4 - 6 hours with normal usage. I did some STEAM updating, downloading, and play GALAGA.

Well, I'm reaching the last quarter of this article. I'm blogging while listening to youtube music and it's pretty hot on the top right and bottom of the laptop. I'm not sure if it's because of the music or I'm charging the battery. I don't think, it was this hot when I wasn't charging. I do have a laptop cooling pad, so I might use it when necessary. A bit of a hassle though. Especially, if you're traveling.

I haven't experienced any kind of lagging so far. Unlike, my old Acer laptop. Obviously, the specs are way much better. In all, I'm happy and glad I got this laptop. Especially, with the special price offering and gifts. It'll be great as a backup for my main PC. Definitely, recommend this, if you guys looking for a mid-range, affordable gaming laptop. At least, like me, till you can get an AMD Ryzen 9 latest laptop!

AMD Software for system settings. Love the 15.6-inch screen and full keyboard with a number pad.

I wasn't sure if this laptop has a backlit keyboard. Sure, glad it does. Although I can type without looking. If I'm stuck, I can always depend on the lighting. The keyboard light will actually 'sleep' if you're not using it after a while. Nice, feature to have.

Yup, this laptop is pretty cool!

Nintendo Switch lite - SmileBASIC 4 - CUBE SHOOTER gameplay

Nintendo Switch (Grey)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Yesterday, I decided to mod the SmileBASIC 4 tutorial code again and add in whatever I have tested and learned. I also kinda like the whole game designed. I used the letter X as the ship and the box as the enemy(cube).

I like watching the whole circles and boxes moving at the start of the game. It's like an intro to the game. It looks like some kind of moving art. I can actually add in color or other stuff but for now, prefer the simple white lines.

Nintendo Switch (Grey)

I also got the idea of letting the player input their name before the start of the game. And, doing a fake ship system check. I actually forgot how to do it at first as I haven't been practicing the code. Which, I actually learned from Python.

The ability to tried out and practice what I've learned in python with SmileBASIC 4 is part of the reason why I like smilebasic so much. Although, my knowledge is not good enough to transfer some python games code to smilebasic.

Creative Coding in Python: 30+ Programming Projects in Art, Games, and More

If you have smilebasic 4, you can actually already download many games and even fun software like the music keyboard, drum pad machine, and even emulators. Not the game emulators but old computers. I don't think Nintendo likes the idea of game emulators on their system.

If you already have a coding technical background, there are many projects you can do or even teach. All software that you created and shared on the server can be downloaded and used by everyone. They can even mod it. It's supposed to be free for people to look at the code and learned from it.

Nintendo Switch Lite - Zacian and Zamazenta Edition

The important this is that, once you have created or mod the code, you can play it on your Nintendo Switch or Switch lite. And, since it's a portable console, you can code while on the go and play it on the go too. I actually mode the Cube Shooter game while slouching on my chair.

I thought of setting my Switch lite with a physical keyboard but too lazy. Anyway, I just have to add or change a few things here and there. Nothing complicated. It's kinda fun and cool being able to do that when you just feel like it.

Switch Accessories Bundle - Orzly Geek Pack for Nintendo Switch: Case & Screen Protector, Joycon Grips & Racing Wheels, Switch Controller Charge Dock, Comfort Grip Case & More - JetBlack

Of course, I already got the ideas in my head for a while. Some of it didn't work out like trying to add my own art. I don't know how or where to save and use it. But, you make do with what you have. One thing for sure, I definitely learn some more new stuff during this process too.

One to the next project, whatever that is. You can download my game once I have the publish key. I'll update it in this article later on. Also, you can buy and download SmileBASICE 4 here on the eShop.
Great learning tools for kids and adults alike!

I Got Cheated $600 Because I Wanted ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop

HIDevolution ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401IV, Moonlight White 14" FHD 120Hz, 3.0 GHz Ryzen 9 4900HS, RTX 2060 Max-Q, 16 GB 3200MHz RAM, 1 TB PCIe SSD

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Yes! I'm cheated out of $600 hard-earned money. I was actually planning to buy another laptop. Which was going to be offered at $888 special prize starting this Monday. It's an HP Laptop 15s series with AMD Ryzen 7. So, while waiting for the day to come, I decided to check out other laptop offers.

That's where I come across this seller store page. He is selling the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop at just $600. Obviously, I was intrigued and wanted to ask if it's really a real deal. Silly me. Even though I told myself if it seems too good to be true, it probably isn’t.

*Update: The laptop selling page is now gone but his main store page is still on. Guess, the online shopping portal has taken some action.

I decided to message him on the portal chat but he didn't reply. So, I decided to Whatsapp him directly with his posted number. It's not really out of the ordinary for the seller to do that. In fact, I've bought and sold products this way.

It's not after 2-3 hours that he finally replies. To be frank, I really hope this deal was really true. As he explains that the company bought in bulk that's why it's way cheaper. My brain tells me they have to really buy a LOT to get the laptop and sell it way below the normal selling price.

HIDevolution ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401IV, Moonlight White 14" FHD 120Hz, 3.0 GHz Ryzen 9 4900HS, RTX 2060 Max-Q, 16 GB 3200MHz RAM, 1 TB PCIe SSD

This is the part where my brain went to sleep and emotion took over. I really wanted this latest gaming laptop. But, it's not cheap. Against my own judgment, I decided to take the plunge after he said, I can pay upfront of $300. He'll send the laptop, if I'm satisfied, I'll then pay him the balance.

After, I've transferred the money, which I'm not supposed to. As the online portal doesn't encourage direct dealing. I'm already doing things by my emotion so, fck it. He then said he's already done the deal receipt and told me to pay the balance.

I told him, isn't it that he's supposed to send me the product for me to check before paying the balance payment? He replied since he's already doing his part on preparing to send the laptop and in order for the deal to go through, I should pay the balance.

In spite of my better judgment (again), and want the deal to be settled quickly, I transferred him the balance payment. All through the chat, he kept saying the product will be delivered to me the same day within 2 hours. And that the company can be trusted. So, I shouldn't worry.

ASUS ROG GU502GW-AH76 Zephyrus M Thin and Portable Gaming Laptop, 15.6” 240Hz FHD IPS, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, Intel Core i7-9750H, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, Per-Key RGB, Windows 10 Home

I was hoping this will be the end of it and all I have to do is wait for my new Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop to arrive. Nope. An hour or so later, the bastard messages me saying, there's a bit of a problem with the delivery and that I have to pay another $350 for insurance and tax.

I'm getting frustrated and told him, I'm not going to send him any more money. And, he either return my money back or I'm going to report him to the online portal and the police. Ignoring, my threats he basically told me to just make the payment and the 'insurance' & 'tax' money will be returned during the delivery.

ASUS ROG Strix G 2020 Premium Gaming Laptop I 15.6" FHD Display I Intel Hexa-Core i7-9750H I 16GB DDR4 1TB PCIe SSD I 4GB GTX 1650 RGB Backlit WiFi Win 10 + Delca 16GB Micro SD Card

The police station is actually just across my house. I didn't reply to him and went straight to the police station to make a report. I think it was an hour or two after making the report and I was told, the IO aka investigating office will look into it.

I might not get the money back, but at least, others will not fall to these fraud sellers trick. The guy website is actually still available. I'm not sure what's the portal is going to do about it. All of these happen yesterday.

This morning, I also called my bank to report my case. I tried yesterday, but they were doing some maintenance shit. And, the bank will inform their staff about the fraud. All they can do is do a request for a refund of my money. Hopefully, I'll get it back soon. As I want to use that money to get that $888 laptop deal.

I felt really stupid and a bit down because I really wanted that laptop and it's not really about losing the money. I can't count how many times I've lost money doing stupid shit. And, this is one of them. I was planning to do unboxing videos and gameplay. Also, I wanted to use it with Microsoft Visual Code and learning to code (hobbyist). Well, I guess, it's just another episode of my sucky life.

Kinda funny though, as careful as I am, even laughing at those that were fooled although they're more into greeds, it actually happened to me and I fell for it. I'm telling this story so that, anyone that reads this will be reminded and careful of online purchases.

A fool and his money will soon depart!
