Blackberry Classic in 2019 - 5 years later - Quick look!

Hey guys,

Check it out!

After 5 long years, finally, I got my hands on the Blackberry Classic. A little too late, I know. But, I had the Q10 (Q10 old blog post) back then. And then made the jump to iPhone 7 or was it 8? I couldn't remember.

Now, I finally decide to get the Classic and use it as a second phone. It's still rather new, in a sense that I bought it from a guy who said it was never used. Also, I bought it at a cheap price. Cheaper, after he agrees to lower the asking price if he could take the earpiece. I don't mind, as long as I get the phone.

When I check the phone, it seems old. The screen protector had some weird stuff on it. But, the guy said I can just take the screen protector off. Which I did later on. The keyboard seems fine and there were no scratch marks or whatever. Even the sticky back was not sticky anymore. It definitely was 'brand new'.

On my way home, I took off the ugly screen protector and check the screen. Yeap, it's new alright. The screen was bright and beautifully dark. The touch screen works too. My Q10 back then wasn't a touch screen. It was pretty responsive and smooth to the touch. It's still using my favorite OS10. Boy, this brings back sweet sweet memories.

I'm surprised that Blackberry World still exists. Yes, that's how long I wasn't into Blackberry phone anymore. My BB ID still works too. Wonder, if I can re-download the old games that I've bought before. I'll have to check it out later. There's so much I want to do with the phone. I'll probably do some gameplay of it in the coming weeks.

You can get the phone on Amazon via the link below!

I'm still dabbling with the phone. Actually, tried calling my sis and the phone works as it should. For a 5-year-old phone, this phone still looks great. I forgot to check how many GB the phone has. Maybe, it's all standard 16gb back then.

I'll be using this mostly as a family phone. As I'm using the standard sim card that has 5gb of data. Not sure, if it's able to function as the latest advance phone like my Samsung Note 10+. I guess, I bought it just for nostalgic sake. I still love the keyboard. Oh, how I miss it!

What you think? Which blackberry phone is your favorite?
