So, I went out to test my new Java J Air Fuoco Disc carbon road bike - GOld and it was a joy to ride on. Not totally perfect though. As I'll need to do some bike fitting of my own. Especially, since I'm not so err..athletic. Everyone's body sizes are different, as long as you're comfortable.

I need to saw again the seatpost maybe an inch shorter. My drop bar is way too low for me. I can raise the height but I'll need to buy a fork extender. My drop bar is a carbon-integrated type, so I can't adjust the height and length of the bike stem unless I change it to a non-integrated type.

I do like the integrated drop bar. It's maybe a bit too long for my short arm's length. The good thing is, it makes me more aero. The only problem for me is that it's giving me pain in the neck yesterday night. My bike frame is already the smallest I could find and I still need to do some bike fitting.

I'm wondering if I should have got a little bigger road bike size. I compare it with my Java Veloce road bike and the front head side is actually higher. The thing is even after doing some bike fitting on my Veloce, I still think, there's more I can do to make it more comfortable.

Unless you're a professional cyclist with all the support of sponsors, you can easily build a bike that'll truly fit you to the T. In spite of all that, I'm not complaining though. The Java J air carbon is a good bike. I'm even surprised at how tough a carbon bike is. With all the horror stories I've heard.

I'm beginning to love everything carbon about a bike. The integrated drop bar isn't all that bad too. Ok, if you can find one that really fits you. If not, just get a non-integrated carbon drop bar. I might do that down the line. Maybe, the technology has got better even for $1k+ carbon fiber road bikes.

I love the carbon fiber wheelset too. This was the first time, I ride on one. Feels solid and sturdy. The free hub sound is really loud. It is so loud, I don't even have to tell people to get out of my way as they can hear my wheels churning behind them. It's kinda funny.

One thing is for sure, I need to learn which gears to use as I'm used to my 9-speed veloce road bike. The java j air is 11 speed. I keep forgetting to get into the lowest gear fast when I need to climb up a slope. Always find out my mistake halfway pedaling up.

I must say, I'm also loving wearing a non-cleat rubber sole cycling shoe. I have never worn any kind of cycling shoe much less with a cleat. I'm not really a serious cyclist, mostly just for leisure. I like some of the designs and colors. Wore it yesterday and it was really comfy and stuck to the pedal like glue. 

I usually cycle to interesting places that I've never been to and will sometime bring my camera along. That's why I prefer not to wear cycling shoes with cleats. I can't walk around with them. That's why I find it much better to wear cycling shoes with rubber soles. It felt 'normal' and comfortable.

A beautiful evening sunset and a nice cooling night to go test ride on my new Java J Air Fuoco Disc carbon gold color road bike. A little too dark in some areas as I can't see some bumps and didn't lose control. Also, a cyclist should point their light low instead of at other cyclists' faces. 

I couldn't see anything because of some idiot's on-coming bike light pointing right at my face. There are also certain times when other cyclists couldn't keep right or left and I had to swerve away. Be aware of where you are and what you do. Use some common sense ffs.

I went out cycling yesterday on my Java Veloce road bike and it makes me realize how much I miss it. I usually went cycling when there's a long holiday weekend. So, I won't be too tired the next day at work. It was kinda a last-minute decision as I thought I would just rest at home.

Well, I'm glad, I decided to go. Although, it's just a quick ride. Usually, when I went out cycling, I'm in mission mode. Bringing along my Nikon camera to take photos of places I visited. I decided to just have a nice ride along the cycling path and then return home.

I've checked the weather forecast and it was supposed to be sunny early in the morning and heavy rainfall in the afternoon. It was already dark and started drizzling by the time I reached my target destination. I managed to get some pictures and videos of the places I stop by.

You can watch the video above or here on my youtube channel. That's part of the reason why I love cycling. I get to go out and do some exercise and at the same time visit places that I've never been to before. Also, I started to love photography after I bought my Nikon P950 and Zfc.

The Java bike that I bought is the only road bike that I have ever bought and owned. I usually prefer a mountain bike. I always thought road bikes are only for athletes and those loving to race. I decided to get one because I thought it'll be much faster riding one.

I found out that it's actually a fun bike to ride. Although I'm afraid to hurt my back with all that bending, it's not all that bad. I just needed to adjust the seat and the handlebar. But, the speed is what it's all about. I love the feeling of going fast on a straight road.

My budget Java Veloce road bike with its aluminum frame is pretty light and strong. I didn't have to use much power and it was a smooth ride even when the road aren't smooth with cracks and small twigs bumps. I have bad knees so, I don't really want to push too hard. 

I just make sure I have a good rhythm and a constant space. I'm not that young anymore too. I think the maximum speed I went was almost 30km/h. That's when it was a straight road with no other cyclists or joggers. I did try to catch a rider though but in the end, he went another route.

My co-worker used to urge me to buy an e-bike. There's been actually a lot of accidents involving them. They've also been in the news that causing fires because of the battery. I think it's cool but it beats the reason of me getting into cycling for health reasons. 

Yes, my knees feel the strain but I rather enjoy the hard work and the sweats. I like my Java veloce but I'm thinking of getting a Java suprema aero full carbon frame bike. It looks super cool and I'm assuming it's much faster. Right now, I'm into Java bikes. Did you know they collaborate with an Italian designer?

I love playing the iq circuit physical block game by smart games. Listen to some jazz or classical music and you have a nice relaxing quiet game to yourself. It came in a nice casing with a transparent top cover. Wish, they include a placement for the puzzle pictures to hold it while trying to solve the puzzle.

I use a paper clip to hold the puzzle booklet and place it on the cover. Now it looks like a Nintendo ds. I like the design of the circuit block with gold lining. Once you solved a challenge, take it all out again and start to solve another puzzle. You'll have over 120 challenges!

I don't play it every day. Only once in a while. It's a gamer thing. You don't want to finish it all at once. Sometimes, you don't even want to finish it. What I realize about this game is that, it's replayable. Even if you have finish it, you can play it again. Maybe, time yourself.

How fast can you solve the challenges? You can restart from the beginning or try solve the one that you find a little difficult, again. Also, to me I like the idea of playing with something physical instead of just playing a game on your mobile phone.

I also bought other type of IQ puzzle games by the company smart games. Of course, their main target is children and the family as a whole. I find playing this type of games relaxing. And, as I've said before, having to physically find and solve the problem does feels good.

Personally, I think it's good to get your hands dirty once in a while. I remembered back when I was a kid, we used to roam around the village or playing games using sticks. We used to play paper soccer, shooting at passing buses with our stick guns. lol!

For one thing these type of games are way cheaper. The most important thing is it's pretty enjoyable to play. I myself just started to buy these type of games. I even bought a couple of jigsaw puzzles. Maybe, I'm just going back to basic and the simple life back then.

I actually like playing simple puzzle games even on my devices. It's only now, I feel like I need to touch them. Maybe, I'm getting old. You know how the older we get, we begin to reminisce and think about the old days. The thing that we like to do when we were younger. Those were the days.

I was a little bored and decided to take out and play the Pokemon typing adventure game. I love typing games and only recently got the Pokemon typing version. I know, kinda a little bit late. But, I saw it was in the sale, so I decided to get it. Wasn't disappointed.

The Pokemon typing adventure is an awesome game. They should keep selling the game and port it to the Nintendo Switch. Better yet, create a new version of the game. Did you know you can link and play your keyboard and mouse to a Nintendo Switch? Check out some of my gameplay here.

If you like to learn to code and code your own Nintendo Switch game, I recommend that you get the software SmileBASIC4 at the Nintendo online store. You can also use a keyboard with it. Obviously, since you need to type the code. I've managed to mod the sample code and create my own games.

I don't know why it's been years since the Nintendo Switch came out and there are already many Pokemon games available but they never thought of developing the Pokemon typing game. I'm kinda pissed. Doesn't help that the game CEO didn't think the switch will be as popular back in the early days.

When you buy a USB C to A adapter make sure it's the type that can also charge your Nintendo Switch. If not, you'll have to take it out and charge it separately. You can plug your gaming keyboard and mouse into the converter. Yes, kinda a hassle. But, it works.

It's actually been a while since I stopped gaming on my Nintendo Switch Lite. So, I'm not sure if there are any updates on being able to wireless link your keyboard and mouse to the switch. It'll definitely save you money and time. Though, you still can't dock your switch lite to a Tv or monitor.

I don't know why Nintendo doesn't want us to be able to link our mouse and keyboard to the switch. I get it, it's supposed to be portable and you can even dock to a big screen tv to play with your external controller. But, it'll be cool to be able to play FPS or RPG with a mouse and keyboard like a PC too.

I'm not sure if now you can connect the xbox controller to a Nintendo Switch. That'll be awesome. In any case, there are already many good third-party external controllers for your switch. I like my transparent case type. Looks pretty cool. Especially, when playing in the dark.

I love working on my mountain bike parts. Although my current Raleigh mountain bike is still kinda new, I decided to change the handlebar handgrips to a different design and color. This time, I chose light green. I think it mixes well with my red handlebar and bike stems.

I'm actually waiting for some new parts for my foldable mountain bike. I'm having a problem with the bike cassette and thought, might as well upgrade everything all at once. A guy I met at a traffic light advised me to change the bike chain. He thinks it is the one that's causing the problem.

Yup! I have people compliment my bike while riding it to work. They like what they see and one guy even exclaims how beautiful my cheap foldable bike is. I've changed the handlebar to a colorful type. Changed to different colors and design handgrips.

My bike pedals are also colorful type too. I put bike frame stickers on it that also act as protection. There are many mud guard designs too. I love the colorful type. I only recently decided to put on a frame chain guard when I saw how dirty it always gets. I didn't really care at first though. lol.

My foldable mountain bike is over a year plus old now and I still remember someone commenting on my youtube video that it's a cheap useless bike. You can see the #shorts video here on my Youtube channel. I've learned that it's built like a tank and I've traveled far and wide with it.

I use my folding mountain bike mainly for commuting to work. I also use it as my test bike. I pretty much learned how to change or repair parts with it. I also bought the necessary tools so that I can work on them quickly. I basically learn through trial and error.

The weird thing is, I studied automotive engineering for 2 years. Got my certs and all but I already got bored by the first year. I didn't join the automotive workforce but working on my bikes makes me feel like I'm coming back to my technical roots. Anyway, as I've said, I'm waiting for my bike cassette, shifters, and chain to arrive. I've never changed a bike cassette before. I'm upgrading from the original 7 to 9-speed type.

In the future, I might want to change my bike fork and crankset. I've already done some surveys of the parts that I like. Again, I've never changed them before. So, it'll be a challenge for me to do them. It ain't gonna be pretty but I'll learn from the mistakes.

Hopefully, not too big a mistake but the experience would be good. I've even thought about buying parts and fixing them myself and then selling them off the bike to anyone interested. Most of the bikes on sale have generic designs and colors. Some might like my work.

I actually put out my folding mountain bike for sale and got some interest in it. I should have sold it before I had a problem with the bike. lol. Now, I have to spend money and repair them before being able to sell. But, having worked on it, makes me a little reluctant to sell.

I bought 2 more new trail loop bands and 3 hard casings with different colors for my apple watch ultra. I can't stop myself from buying these accessories. They have excellent design and although the ultra watch has an aerospace-grade titanium case doesn't hurt to extra protect it. lol!

Anyway, that's what is so great about the Apple watch. You can mix and match the band, and the casing and it'll look totally different. My friend even thought I had bought a new watch when I showed him my watch with a different band. Yup, I love this watch!

This is kind of weird but I even love playing with the watch without its band. I like taking it out of its band or casing and charging it. Take note some of the casing have problems charging. Just take it out. Also, even though it's good they protect the crown but kinda difficult if you're using it for gaming.

I very much prefer not to use the casing as the watch really looks nice by itself and doesn't block the charging or the crown. But, I'm a person for some reason have hands that like to knock on things. I broke my watch screen once and only been using it for a couple of days.

Yes, I've knocked my Apple watch ultra all over the place and luckily it's still working fine. I even broke my tempered glass screen protector. Apparently, I've knocked my watch screen on something and only realized the crack when looking at it later on. You can see it here.

Thankfully, my apple watch ultra screen didn't even have a tint of scratch on it. Someone asked me if I have AppleCare+ when I bought the watch. I haven't activated it yet. Well, I'm the type that feels it's not necessary. I might regret it but, I'm not planning to stick to it long enough.

Yes, I have Microsoft outlook on my PC but I almost never use it. I usually just check my emails on the browser. The Microsoft Outlook app on the apple watch looks professional and clean. I can't read the whole email but just the first part and can delete, dismiss or reply.
