Insta360 x3 cycling on my java j air fuoco under the moon roll effects #insta360x3

Insta360 X3 - Waterproof 360 Action Camera with 1/2" 48MP Sensors, 5.7K 360 Active HDR Video, 72MP 360 Photo, 4K Single-Lens, 60fps Me Mode, Stabilization, 2.29" Touchscreen, AI Editing, Live Stream

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I really love my new Insta360 X3 action camera. I finally got it after my GoPro Hero 10 bloated battery got stuck inside it and I inadvertently spoiled it. For now, I just keep it inside my cupboard hoping to one day be able to repair it. If ever!

Anyway, the Insta360 X3 is now my go-to action camera. What really sold me was the invisible stick. I've been wanting to use it to take videos of me cycling. The cool thing is because of the camera's 'blind spot' it can't see the stick below it. So, it seems invisible. Cool isn't it?

Insta360 X3 - Waterproof 360 Action Camera with 1/2" 48MP Sensors, 5.7K 360 Active HDR Video, 72MP 360 Photo, 4K Single-Lens, 60fps Me Mode, Stabilization, 2.29" Touchscreen, AI Editing, Live Stream

Insta 360 also has its own apps and users page. You can upload your videos there and learn tutorials too. I love the free video editing software and cool graphic effects available for free. I have used the sky cool painting and the moon roll effects for the above video.

Another cool feature of the Insta360 X3 is that it doesn't matter how you hold the stick or the camera, you'll get 360 views. You don't have to bend it like a GoPro to get a selfie. It'll actually show the stick in your video. I didn't know how the invisible stick work at first.

Yes, it'll take a 360 view. You'll then, edit the video and choose which POV aka point-of-view you want. For example, when I'm cycling, I can hold the selfie stick in front of me, over my shoulder, put it inside my backpack with the stick, sticking out like an antenna, etc.

When I'm at home, I can edit the video on my iPhone or Macbook. During editing, I can move around the video and choose which point of view I like or prefer. I might want a front view of my cycling. I can then choose another POV from the side, top, or back. Way cool!

What I also like about Insta360 apps for mobile phones is also I can choose which ratios I like. Be it 9:16 or 16:9. Since YouTube now has the #shorts video sharing mode, I can re-edit, re-pov, and re-ratio any videos I took with the X3.

The video quality is very good and stable. You can also take quality pictures with it. Read up on their specs for more info. So far, I haven't had any problem editing the videos on my iPhone 13. There's no long pause or stutters. They also saved the editing on auto for you just in case.

A couple of months back, or rather last year 2023, today is the 1st of 2024. Someone asked me about my GoPro, which I was using to record my cycling. He had wanted to buy a GoPro for a long time. I told him, I was the same as him and finally got it. However, I did think of getting the insta360.

He wasn't sure about the insta360 and his mind was rather made up to buy the GoPro. If he had asked me now whether to get the GoPro or Insta360 X3, I would have said get the X3. The video quality is on par with the GoPro. You can also do more creative stuff with the video taken with an X3.

In all, I'm satisfied with the insta360 X3 and plan to make more videos and probably some pictures too. So, don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel. Thank you all for the support in 2023. Happy New Year 2024 and wish you all the best in the coming year. Cheers!

it took me 9 mins cycling on my java j air fuoco gold road bike from punggol park to lor halus red bridge

Seraph Chameleon Paint Superlight Carbon Fiber Road Racing Bike Bicycle Frame

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I have cycled to lor halus (google map) from punggol park (google map) a couple of times and was wondering how fast can I ride straight without stopping on my new Java J Air Fuoco road bike. I'm not a pro or even young. I have two bad knees and a slipped disc. My tummy won't allow me to go aero.

I'm still new to the bike and playing around with the 22-speed while cycling. I do cycles on my mountain bike to and fro from my house to work daily. So, I at least have some level of fitness. According to my Strava, I managed to reach the bridge which is 3.51km within 9:08 mins.

I do believe someone younger and fitter could get even lower timing. But, you'll have to be careful and watch your speed sometimes because there are many other cyclists and joggers blocking your way. Some like to hog the lane as if they own it.

My stats on Strava shows that my average speed was 23.1km/h. Avg Power is 207W. Frankly, I didn't really want to push myself harder as I've said, I'm not a pro or young. I have to take care not to hurt my knees and back further. That's why I believe someone could do a better timing.

If you're wondering, I used my GoPro Hero 10 to record this video. Someone asked me about the action camera the other day and I'm totally recommending it. I've had no issues taking videos and even pictures. You can check some of the videos I took on my youtube channel here.

I also told the guy about the Insta360 camera. He wasn't really interested in it. His mind seems set on the GoPro. He told me that some people complain about Hero10 and some say stick with Hero9. I told him, not to listen to what people 'think' too much and just go for whichever camera he wanted.

The fact of the matter is that every product has its pros and cons. You work through those. I had fun with my GoPro but then I did the mistake of putting a bloated battery inside it and got stuck. I did get it out but now it's not working. I'll send it for repair later, one day.

I decided to get the Insta360 because I was intrigued by the ability to hide the selfie stick. I didn't understand how it work at first as the holder keeps showing and blocking the view. I thought I needed software or the stick I got was a cheap fake. Turn out, I needn't put an extra camera adapter on it.

GoPro HERO11 Black - Waterproof Action Camera with 5.3K60 Ultra HD Video, 27MP Photos, 1/1.9" Image Sensor, Live Streaming, Webcam, Stabilization

You just need to put the Insta360 camera on the stick and you don't even need to turn it towards you when taking video. It'll take a 360 view of the surrounding area and you can choose and edit the frame later. You don't need to take several different views or angle shots. Really cool!

My friends and family were asking and wondering how I took a back-view video of me cycling. Of course, I just need to put the selfie stick behind me by using the bike frame clamp. The way the 360 camera works, the blind spot under the camera won't show the stick. Voila!

I'm really beginning to love the Insta360 X3 camera. And, there's even free video editing software and more free cool features you can add to your video. They have several other products too. Depends on what you're going for and need. I'll be making more videos with the X3 so subscribe to my channel!

I went for night ride test on my java j air fuoco road bike to lor halus and punggol boardwalk

Hey guys,

Check it out!

So, I went out to test my new Java J Air Fuoco Disc carbon road bike - GOld and it was a joy to ride on. Not totally perfect though. As I'll need to do some bike fitting of my own. Especially, since I'm not so err..athletic. Everyone's body sizes are different, as long as you're comfortable.

I need to saw again the seatpost maybe an inch shorter. My drop bar is way too low for me. I can raise the height but I'll need to buy a fork extender. My drop bar is a carbon-integrated type, so I can't adjust the height and length of the bike stem unless I change it to a non-integrated type.

I do like the integrated drop bar. It's maybe a bit too long for my short arm's length. The good thing is, it makes me more aero. The only problem for me is that it's giving me pain in the neck yesterday night. My bike frame is already the smallest I could find and I still need to do some bike fitting.

I'm wondering if I should have got a little bigger road bike size. I compare it with my Java Veloce road bike and the front head side is actually higher. The thing is even after doing some bike fitting on my Veloce, I still think, there's more I can do to make it more comfortable.

Unless you're a professional cyclist with all the support of sponsors, you can easily build a bike that'll truly fit you to the T. In spite of all that, I'm not complaining though. The Java J air carbon is a good bike. I'm even surprised at how tough a carbon bike is. With all the horror stories I've heard.

I'm beginning to love everything carbon about a bike. The integrated drop bar isn't all that bad too. Ok, if you can find one that really fits you. If not, just get a non-integrated carbon drop bar. I might do that down the line. Maybe, the technology has got better even for $1k+ carbon fiber road bikes.

I love the carbon fiber wheelset too. This was the first time, I ride on one. Feels solid and sturdy. The free hub sound is really loud. It is so loud, I don't even have to tell people to get out of my way as they can hear my wheels churning behind them. It's kinda funny.

One thing is for sure, I need to learn which gears to use as I'm used to my 9-speed veloce road bike. The java j air is 11 speed. I keep forgetting to get into the lowest gear fast when I need to climb up a slope. Always find out my mistake halfway pedaling up.

I must say, I'm also loving wearing a non-cleat rubber sole cycling shoe. I have never worn any kind of cycling shoe much less with a cleat. I'm not really a serious cyclist, mostly just for leisure. I like some of the designs and colors. Wore it yesterday and it was really comfy and stuck to the pedal like glue.

I usually cycle to interesting places that I've never been to and will sometime bring my camera along. That's why I prefer not to wear cycling shoes with cleats. I can't walk around with them. That's why I find it much better to wear cycling shoes with rubber soles. It felt 'normal' and comfortable.

Check out some of my road bike pics below:

A beautiful evening sunset and a nice cooling night to go test ride on my new Java J Air Fuoco Disc carbon gold color road bike. A little too dark in some areas as I can't see some bumps and didn't lose control. Also, a cyclist should point their light low instead of at other cyclists' faces.

I couldn't see anything because of some idiot's on-coming bike light pointing right at my face. There are also certain times when other cyclists couldn't keep right or left and I had to swerve away. Be aware of where you are and what you do. Use some common sense ffs.

What do you guys think?
