MICROSOFT YOUR PHONE APP VS SAMSUNG DEX - GRID AUTOSPORT MOBILE GAMEPLAY

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G | Factory Unlocked Android Cell Phone | 128 GB | US Version Smartphone | Pro-Grade Camera, 30X Space Zoom, Night Mode | Cloud Lavender

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Nowadays, you can link your phone to your computer and easily access your files and data. You can transfer or saved pictures from your phone gallery straight to your pc. All this done wirelessly via Microsoft Your Phone App or if you have a Samsung phone that supports Samsung Dex (Samsung site) via USB C connection.

Microsoft Your Phone App is pretty nifty. I like that you can connect to your PC wirelessly and receive notifications. I can just leave my phone aside and since like right now, I'm using my computer, I can check emails and messages on it. I can even delete, clear, or reply to messages immediately.

Samsung Dex is basically the same thing. Only that, to me, it's got a better user interface. It's like you're using a desktop or laptop computer. One thing is that it's only available on top-of-the-line Samsung phone. You can easily connect with a USB C to A or C to HDMI or HDMI to HDMI.

If you're thinking of getting a Samsung Dex adapter, get a Dex Pad. For one thing, it has a fan. Your phone will definitely get hot. It also has USB A, C, and HDMI ports. Connect your mouse, keyboard, and direct to a portable monitor or Tv. You'll also be charging your phone at the same time.

Smartphones today are pretty advance. You don't even need a computer or laptop anymore. You can use it for work and for play. It started decades ago when I begin to see people walking around or on the bus glued to their phones watching 'Tv shows'. I always thought they were lonely kind of people.

When Steve Jobs introduced the first-gen iPhone, new smartphones started to arrive. I was one of those few people that use the iPhone in public. And then it got popular and now everyone has one. Kinda ironic that now, I prefer using an android phone.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G | Factory Unlocked Android Cell Phone | 256GB Storage | US Version Smartphone Tablet | 2-in-1 Refined Design, Flex Mode | Mystic Bronze

I'm hoping to get the new Samsung Z Fold 2. I love the idea of opening it half-way and using it as a laptop. If you open it all the way, it'll turn into a tablet. A bigger better view for checking emails, or watching youtube videos. Super cool!

Of course, if you want a bigger screen than that, now you can easily link to an external monitor or TV. That's where Microsoft Your Phone App and Samsung Dex comes in. Choose your poisons. If you have a Samsung phone that supports Samsung Dex, great. If not any android phone can be used with Your Phone app.

Xbox Wireless Controller – Night-Ops Camo Special Edition

I decided to do the Grid Autosport for android phone gameplay just to show you guys how enjoyable it is to be able to play graphic intensive games on your mobile phone. You can use Your Phone App or Samsung Dex. But, it seems Samsung Dex via a USB C connection to my pc plays it better.

If you have watched my Grid Autosport gameplay above, you'll see that the game stutters badly when I'm using the Your Phone app wirelessly. Could be my wifi isn't that good enough. But, when I link to my pc via a USB C cable, it plays much better via Samsung Dex.

HAVIT Mechanical Keyboard Mouse Headset Kit, Blue Switch Keyboards, Gaming Mouse & RGB Headphones for Laptop Computer PC Games

In the last part of my video, I played the game directly on my phone and it plays as smooth as butter. I can play it on the phone without linking to any external monitor or I can get a portable monitor and play on a bigger screen anytime, and anywhere.

Do a search on my blog and you'll see more mobile phone gameplay. I even did a post on turning your phone into a gaming console. I also mostly complain (in my blog) about the 99% type of crap games that's available for mobile gaming. Especially those that don't have controller or mouse and keyboard support.

Nintendo Switch Lite - Gray

Grid Autosport is the only real triple-A kind of racing game that's available on the android platform. I can play it with an Xbox controller or even with a mouse and keyboard. It's like playing on a pc or gaming console. That's the kind of game that I want!

The fact that I can play Crysis Remastered on my Nintendo Switch lite, makes me believe it can also be available on the mobile phone. Right now, I wish my Switch lite can do things a smartphone can do. Like browsing the internet, social media, checking emails, etc. But, it can't.

On the other hand, I'm wishing that my smartphone have games like the ones available on the Nintendo Switch. The good thing is that I have both of them. But, my dream is that one day, I'll only need one of them to do everything that I want. Will my wish comes true one day?

Samsung dex on my HP 15s AMD RYZEN 7 laptop

ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 14" VR Ready 120Hz FHD Gaming Laptop,8Core AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS(Beat i7-10750H),16GB RAM,1TB PCIe SSD,Backlight,Wi-Fi 6,USB C,NVIDIA GeForce RTX2060 Max-Q,Win10 (Moonlight White)

Hey guys,

Check it out!

The last time, I tried out Samsung Dex was on my low-end Acer laptop with Intel N4200 and HD 505. My laptop originally had 4GB ram. It was 'functional' but sometimes it lags. Would have been fine if I just use it for simple things like checking emails and youtube.

You can check out the video of me using Samsung Dex on my Acer laptop here. I've actually upgraded that laptop ram to 8Gb. So, another 4Gb of rams actually help make things a little smoother. I can also actually played some games like Diablo.

Samsung Dex (website) on my HP 15.6, AMD Ryzen 7 is definitely much better. Although, you can actually just use Microsoft Your Phone App. The difference is in the user interface. I prefer Samsung Dex because it's more like a desktop.

If you don't have a laptop, you can plug in your Samsung phone to a TV, monitor, or portable monitor and turn it into a full-on computer. But, only certain Samsung phones has the Samsung Dex capability. I believe it's S10 and up.

I'm still using my Note 10+ that I bought over a year ago. I'm hoping to get the Z Fold 2, one day. The Z Fold 2 is pretty interesting. I think it can also be used with Samsung Dex. That would be a plus. You can already use it like a tablet or even a folding laptop with a tiny touch keyboard.

Get a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, and you'll have an android tablet setup to check emails, social media, watching youtube or movies. Now you can even play games on a bigger screen. Once done, just fold it and into your pocket.

Right now, the Samsung Z Fold 2 is pretty expensive. Also, most reviewers think the camera isn't that good compared to let's say the S20 or Note 20. It's also a little bulky. I'm pretty sure they can make it slimmer and hopefully less expensive in the next iteration.

I always thought that tech designers and manufacturers supposed to make their products more lasting, smaller, and cheaper. Isn't that what the future of tech should be? We should already have a base on the moon and probably already living on Mars by now.

My new HP laptop unboxing video is pretty popular. I've already got over 10k views. Okay, you can't compare it to other top channels with millions of views. Still, they already have lots of subscribers. I'm actually surprised that it got way more views than my other laptop videos.

I think they like the slim, silver color AMD Ryzen design laptop. Although, the latest is Ryzen 9. If I had the money, I would have bought the latest Asus Zephyrus ROG 14 gaming laptop. Wish they have a 15.6-inch version. The color and design are the very reason I got the cheaper HP laptop.

Anyway, Samsung Dex is Samsung's advantage over other phone makers. Somebody made a demo of a DexBook (my youtube video) that would turn your Samsung phone into a laptop. Its design is actually pretty cool. Instead, Samsung makes a windows 10 laptop that has Samsung Dex support.

The laptop isn't that bad though. You can even charge your phone on the touchpad. Now, it reminds me of Apple's new M1 processor laptop and Microsoft Surface book or surface laptop or whatever they want to call it.

I actually had a chance to check out the latest Apple M1 laptop at a local Apple store and it's so slim, fast, and light. Not bad, not bad at all. I like the 16 inches or was it a 15 inch? I wonder if you can use Samsung Dex on it? That would be a plus for me.

So many laptops, so little money!

Samsung Note 10+ New Windows 10 Your Phone App updated - Android Games & Apps

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Factory Unlocked Cell Phone with 256 GB (U.S. Warranty), Aura Black/ Note10+

Hey guys,

Check it out!

If you had watched the Samsung Live event the other day, you would have seen the part where they talked about Microsoft, Windows 10 Your Phone app update. It shows all your android phone apps in one place. Pretty cool and nifty.

Frankly, it's just like the old phone mirroring. And, I feel like it's kinda a bit messy. It's cool that now, you can access your apps directly without having to go inside your phone belly. But, it will pop-up in new windows. It wasn't that way before.

I'll prefer everything is streamline with no popup unless it's inside your phone. Other than that, it's fun to be able to use your android phone apps on your pc with a bigger screen. And, you can do this wirelessly. I'm not sure if this works with other phones though.

A guy that visited my channel commented that it doesn't work for his phone. Can't remember what phone he's using but definitely not the latest Samsung phone. All I know is that Microsoft is working with Samsung to provide this feature.

One other feature is wireless Samsung Dex. But, I think you need a Tv that's able to take the wireless cast. I was interested in that. Wish, I can use Samsung Dex just by using the mirroring feature. Well, at the moment you either use a USB c cable or the Dex pad.

The Dex Pad is great if you want to use your Samsung phone as your main computer. Samsung Dex is much more desktop-friendly unlike Microsoft Your Phone App. It also includes the ability to output to a portable monitor or Tv. You can even plug in your USB mouse and keyboard.

Portable Monitor - Lepow 15.6 Inch Computer Display 1920×1080 Full HD IPS Screen USB C Gaming Monitor with Type-C Mini HDMI for Laptop PC MAC Phone Xbox PS4, Include Smart Cover & Screen Protector

The latest Samsung Note 20 ULTRA 5G will definitely make the reality of mobile computing comes true. With just your phone, you can do all the things that a normal computer can do. What's so great is it's portability and flexibility.

Imagine going to work with just your phone. Reach your workplace, dock it to a monitor, and start crunching those numbers. Make video calls to clients or to your wife. Showing your presentation on the Tv that's done on your phone.

RK ROYAL KLUDGE RK61 Wired 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard RGB Backlit Ultra-Compact Red Switch White

Of course, your phone is also your entertainment and gaming system. Console-like gaming is not impossible. I don't really like streaming or cloud gaming. If you don't have the internet, what can you do? And, in some countries, it's not really cheap.

That's why I keep saying, let us install those games on our phone. So that we can play anytime and anywhere. That's the real deal. Not having to pay monthly subscriptions and then not able to play it when we actually want to.

Xbox Wireless Controller - Black

Well, maybe that's what 5G will do for gaming. There are actually some good android games that you can play with a controller and one of them is Asphalt 9 Legends. You can also play Call of Duty mobile with a gamepad. But, it's not as good or accurate.

The aiming is pretty difficult and I can't use the trigger buttons. You, scope, and shoot with the shoulder buttons. Also, I can't seem to find the running button. I end up walking like I was in the park. Anyway, it's kinda fun to be able to play the game on a bigger screen.

Microsoft is definitely improving on the Your Phone app. I hope, they'll do something like the Samsung Dex. Right now, it's kinda messy. Especially, with the new popup feature. Also, I'm not sure but some things don't work. Also, too bad, Samsung stops its Linux on the Dex project.

I really love the Linux on Dex. Hope one day, it'll come back in some shape or form. Like what's Microsoft doing with Windows Subsystem for Linux. That would be way cool. Anyway, I really like how everyone is mixing it up and working together on different platforms.
