If you've been reading my blog, you'll know that I recently bought a new folding bike. I haven't ridden a bicycle for a long time and since my new workplace is nearby where I stay, I thought, why not just cycle to work instead of taking the bus?

In fact, it's much faster to and fro to work as I cut on the waiting time. At the same time, I also wanted to trim my tummy and get back to being fit or at least look and feel healthy. Been almost a month and I think, I'm improving in my fitness level.

My tummy still hasn't trimmed down though. I read an article that, it'll take a long time and I'll also need to do other kinds of exercises too. I was hoping, cycling to work every day will help me slim down. Maybe, because the article said, you at least need to cycle 30-60 mins.

Cycling to work took me 10-15mins depending on how fast I can go. Frankly, it's much easier and faster when going home. I need a little more leg strength and stamina to climb the slope. While I'll be going down when going home.

I was actually thinking of buying an exercise bike so that I can get slim and train up my fitness in the comfort of my own home. Since I can cycle to work, it'll do. Cycling is much better than running for me because I have bad knees.

Cycling will dampen the impact on my knees much better than running. Although, I did feel a little in my back as I also have a slipped disc. I'm trying to get in shape while navigating around all the physical problems that I have. I'm not that young anyway.

I really love my new folding bike and cycling to and fro to work. The other day, I went back from my sis house and it was really fun cycling home at night. That reminds me, I might need to get a headlight for night riding. There are places where it's pretty dark.

I already got myself a bicycle bell and water bottle holder. They're pretty useful. Now, I can just ring the bell instead of saying, "beep beep". I can also buy bottled drinks and insert them into my water bottle holder. I didn't think I'll need them until I started cycling.

I'm still wondering if I should get a phone holder. For now, I'm just cycling to and fro to work. It's not a long journey or that I need a map. But, I did get myself a crossbody sling pouch to put my wallet and mobile phone for quick access.

I saw a rearview mirror on one of the bikes that I saw while cycling to work. It actually would be useful as I constantly have to turn my head to see if anyone or a cyclist is behind me. I'm really into the fun of cycling and of course, cycling for health and fitness.

I'm actually, kinda looking for a pouch. But, a little bigger and slimmer. The video I make of the men's waist multipurpose nylon pouch (green) belongs to my nephew. He wanted to use it for his handphones and other loose items he carries around traveling to and fro to work.

My nephew now is doing his 2-year service with the police. My other nephew is also doing his national service but in the military. I did my service in the military too. It was supposed to be 2 years full-time and another 10 years or so but it was cut to only 7. Lucky me. :p

I think, like other young boys, we were always attracted to the military. Watching military movie or show. Playing army and enemy with our friends. Now, I think about it, might be the government (military) propaganda so that we'll be interested to join and go to war to fight over nothing.

Anyway, that's probably why we like all these military design accessories. Although, there are some things that I wish could have been available during my time. Like the G-Shock Rangeman GW-9400. Yeah, I have it now, but it doesn't exist back then.

You can check out my unboxing video of the watch here. These kinds of watches would have been useful during my military days. It would be funny though if you wear it in a war. Like, if you die, your enemy would be fighting over, who'll get it.

I'm glad, I'm done and over with the Army. But, like I said, nowadays there are many cool accessories and military-esque designs that we civilians can use for our everyday life. I've bought a camo and black ops tactical sling bag that I used for my gaming and electronic devices.

I'm already thinking of getting a pouch that could fit my 7-8 inch Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. My Powkiddy X18, and maybe a power bank. Although, I just bought a new urban backpack that could carry all that. This time, it doesn't have anything to do with the military.

I'm beginning to like this new urban design backpack. I thought it was a little too rectangular before. I guess, nowadays, it's hip to be rectangular? At least, it doesn't look too bulky. Great for modern usage with all our electronic devices like laptops, iPads, and Nintendo switch.

I'm surprised that Apple not in the backpack market. Their brand is pretty popular. I'm pretty sure, there's a market for that. Those that use Apple laptops, iPads, iPhones, and even iWatch. They can make one that charges your electronic devices while they're in your bag.

In any case, I'm always on the lookout for nice design bags and pouches.
