[HD] Steve Jobs - iPhone Introduction in 2007 (Complete)

Hey guys,

I'm just reminiscing Steve jobs presentation of the first iPhone. The day, I realized, Steve Jobs is the best marketing genius ever there is. He got an eye for tech and connecting the dots. He makes the iPhone a sexy and popular product. And, left a legacy for the world to remember. I was so excited about the iPhone as if, it's the first ever phone created on earth!

He's gone and frankly, he left a void that would never be filled again. His company still continue to thrives and incrementally improve on their products. That seems to be theirs and other company motto. I kinda understand and lets face it, why change the whole product designs and restart all over again, every 6 month?

For sure, it's not the first phone that i ever bought. I still remember my first Nokia. Then, I bought a couple of popular Sony Ericsson phone. Bought, a Treo and Blackberry of course. Beside the iPhone, I really loved the Treos and Blackberry phone. I like the phone form factor, especially the keyboard and the smart UI capabilities. But, I still came back to the iPhone in the end.

I didn't get every initiatory of the iPhone though. I bought the iPhone 3G because, that's the phone that finally came to my country. And, I even opened a second account on another network just for the sake of buying it. Later on, I sold it and got myself a Blackberry bold. I didn't get the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 version. But, then I got myself an iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 +.

Finally, now, I got myself the iPhone 7+ 125gb gold version. It's becoming my daily driver and yes, I did envy at Samsung latest phones. I did use a Samsung S3 phone before and didn't really like the android OS which kinda crash on me a lot. The most important factor that makes me love my iPhone is the iOS. It was smart of Steve Jobs to use OS X for it.

To be clear, before the iPhone, the other only Apple product I had was the iPod. I still got it today, inside my drawer. I didn't buy a mac for obvious reason of being too expensive. It's still too damn expensive today. Most of the time, for work and play, I only use the PC. Which are sometime more powerful and cheaper.

The only product, I'm willing to pay are for the iPhone with contract (subsidies). Right now, everyone excited for the coming of iPhone 8. Although, I'm sure, everyone already tired of the form factor. I'm pretty sure, judging by all the rumour, Apple wont change much. I've already downloaded the iOS 11 beta version and it's not something to really shout about.

Yeah, they've upgraded a few features but like I've said, there's nothing much to be excited about. A few weird stuff happened like after swiping away all the opened apps, I couldn't get back to the main page. And, I'm not sure why the title text seems to be too big. What I'm excited about for the upcoming iPhone 8 is the camera and what you can do with it. The camera and capabilities like slow motion are already available now for the iPhone 7. And, also I loved the free iMovie editing software. Wish, they added more creative themes. It also, seldom, if ever hang up on me. A pretty robust phone for work and play.

I might wait until I can re-contract to get the iPhone 8 or 8s by then. My iPhone 7+ are already capable enough for my daily routines of checking emails, whatsapp-ing, surfing the net and watching youtube. Good enough, to take video recording and editing to upload on Youtube. It's really like a small and compact macbook!

Cube FPS (First person shooter) for iPhone 3G - FINALLY!

So, guess what?

Finally. Cube is available for  the iPhone 3G after what seems like eternity waiting for Apple staff to approve it. I don't know what's the problem were, but I'm just glad that it's finally available and of course I download it immediately after reaching home!

A bit of warning though. Don't expect the game to fly right off the bat. Those, that had downloaded and try it out complain about the poor frame rates. Poor control and they definitely hated the music! 

For me though, besides the frame rate I don't have any beef with the control or music. I'm just happy I can play an FPS on the iPhone, finally!

The developers are talking about an update version 1.2 that will improve the frame rates. I'm pretty sure the game play will vastly improved. What's more important are that other developers can learn from this Cube port. To create better game, with better control etc. I can't freaking wait!

I don't know why some people keep saying that the FPS type of game is not suitable for the iPhone. That's totally hogwash, and Cube is an example of that.

Well, anyway. For the moment Cube is free for the iPhone so why not try it out?

Download Google Chrome and Google Earth Today!

So today, while searching for new updates on "iphone FPS games" on Youtube, I saw a link to try out Google Chrome, Google shiny new browser. I must say, my first impression was it looks so brand new!

It's like buying a new gadget for me. LoL. It has a nice blue color and everything seems 'zippy'. Well, I'm currently using the Chrome to type today's post. So far, so good. I have actually read about it on Cnet.com. But, didn't really think of trying it out until today. I'm already using Firefox and didn't think any other browser is better then it. But, what de heck. Since, I'm feeling a little curious today, why not download it right?

Also, at the same time, I downloaded the latest Google Earth. Like the Chrome, I've heard about it but wasn't that interested to try it out until today. I guess, today is like Google day for me, huh?

Anyway, Google Earth is way cool man. You should definitely check it out, if you haven't that is. I like it. I tried it out just now and it's definitely accurate. Or almost accurate?

Lucky, they didn't have any camera out there or you can actually see me half-naked right now, typing this post. Ha!

I'm actually waiting and wondering if I can get it on my iPhone. I know in the U.S. version of the iTunes you can already download it, but, I can't find it on my Singapore iTunes store. Bummer. I love this cool software. It's better then the Google map on the iPhone right now. And, it seems more fun to be able to look up your local road or check out italy on my iPhone!

Can't freaking wait to download it for my iPhone. Yeah, told you I love my iPhone so much!

First off, I want to wish every Muslims a peaceful and happy Ramadan. Ramadan, is a 'magic month' where it's time we evaluate ourselves and concentrate solely on better-ing ourselves in 'One-ness' with God. May, HE accept our prayers and our sacrifices. Amin.

So, it's been almost 2 weeks since I got my new iPhone 3G. Ha ha. I've been busy playing with it. Downloading stuff, testing the apps, the 3G receptions and the phone itself. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied. It actually exceeds my expectation of it. Even, my friend keep asking me to sell it to him if ever I wanted to. He can't get it from Singtel telco carrier like me as he just got his Samsung under a new contract. I think. Anyway, he's been like telling everyone I got it and I had to like demo it to them. Hey, Singtel, should PAY me for my part. Haha!

Anyway, I think I've exceeded my total expenditure for the month, what with the downloads and surfing. I wonder if I already exceeded my 1 gig data allocations. I think I have. I already spend almost $200 buying apps from the iTunes store. Crap!

I wanted to upload a video of the iphone on youtube and put it up here but, I'm having problem installing my nokia phone. Can't freakin get it to sync to my pc. Once, I get it to work and finish uploading it to youtube then I'll post it here. For now, check out my new iPhone photo blog online!

It's a cool app that allow you to take photos from your iphone and upload it online as a photo blog. I installed it today on my iPhone and tried it out. Got, a few pics there. There's more to come of course. Heh. That's why I like the iPhone they have tons and tons of app that you can use.
