WARNING! New Trojan Targets CHROME Password Manager

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Coronavirus is not the only virus taking over the world right now!

Sometimes what makes something popular can also make it problematic. Google Chrome, by far the most commonly used web browser in the world, has been targeted by a new Trojan that steals passwords and stores them to a remote database.

Immediately after accessing the passwords stored in Chrome's Password Manager, the password-collecting Trojan, called CStealer, connects to the database to share the information.

As Latest Hacking News points out, "Anyone analyzing this malware, whether it be law enforcement, researchers, or other threat actors, can retrieve the hardcoded credentials and use them to gain access to the stolen credentials."

Chrome's extremely high usage share--by some stat counters, as high as 65% of web users--illustrates its popularity. But perhaps because it is so popular, it is a favored target of password stealers. Storing your passwords, then, is one Chrome feature you'll want to outsource to a separate, secure password manager.

In May, iolo reported that a new generation of credential-stuffing programs is helping even unskilled malevolent online actors check the login credentials of millions of users against hundreds of websites and online services. The latest Trojan further underscores the fact that new password-breaching malware and tools emerge with alarming frequency, making it even more critical than ever to avoid password reuse and web browser storage of passwords.

A good password manager should locally encrypt your passwords in one stored place, calling them up to autofill login info only when you need them. It also ought to be able to generate complex, random alphanumeric combinations for you. The best password managers will even scan the internet to see if any of your old passwords have been leaked onto hackers' lists. ByePass from iolo technologies can perform all of these functions; it also securely stores your credit card information and any private notes you wish to secure from spying eyes.

Is Diablo and Overwatch coming to the switch?

Nintendo Switch - Gray Joy-Con

Hey guys,

Gamespot latest update saying that Diablo and Overwatch might be coming to the switch?

If you've read my post here. I was hoping then, that more triple AAA games would be available for the portable gaming console. Game like Skyrim or Doom are already available now. And, I've posted several time about FIFA18 one of my nephew favorite game on the go!

I've also posted about wanting Zen Studio pinball to be available too before. When I asked them about it on their Facebook page, they wasn't sure if it's going to happen. But, lo and behold, several months later they're out for the switch!

So, be careful what you wish for. You might actually get it. I'm pretty sure Diablo and Overwatch will be available for the switch. It's only a matter of time. Don't be surprised if other developers are also looking at either porting or creating new games for nintendo.

Definitely, good news for Nintendo Switch fans!

If you haven't yet got one, get it here!

Nintendo Switch - Gray Joy-Con

In the early days, nobody think much of the Nintendo switch. I wasn't really interested in it too. I was intrigued about the possibility of playing skyrim on the switch though. That's why I finally caved in and bought one. Okay, I'll admit, my nephew been urging me to get it. :p

There wasn't much game and I even saw ads from people re-selling their nintendo switch. I've even complained about not having youtube or facebook apps on nintendo customer feedback. So far, there's no updates on that front.

I'm still perplexed why there are no apps available for the switch. That beautiful 7" touchscreen are perfect for watching movies and youtube videos. Netflix are already available for it. Why still no youtube or facebook app? Why can't we surf the net?

Only time will tell!

Download Google Chrome and Google Earth Today!

So today, while searching for new updates on "iphone FPS games" on Youtube, I saw a link to try out Google Chrome, Google shiny new browser. I must say, my first impression was it looks so brand new!

It's like buying a new gadget for me. LoL. It has a nice blue color and everything seems 'zippy'. Well, I'm currently using the Chrome to type today's post. So far, so good. I have actually read about it on Cnet.com. But, didn't really think of trying it out until today. I'm already using Firefox and didn't think any other browser is better then it. But, what de heck. Since, I'm feeling a little curious today, why not download it right?

Also, at the same time, I downloaded the latest Google Earth. Like the Chrome, I've heard about it but wasn't that interested to try it out until today. I guess, today is like Google day for me, huh?

Anyway, Google Earth is way cool man. You should definitely check it out, if you haven't that is. I like it. I tried it out just now and it's definitely accurate. Or almost accurate?

Lucky, they didn't have any camera out there or you can actually see me half-naked right now, typing this post. Ha!

I'm actually waiting and wondering if I can get it on my iPhone. I know in the U.S. version of the iTunes you can already download it, but, I can't find it on my Singapore iTunes store. Bummer. I love this cool software. It's better then the Google map on the iPhone right now. And, it seems more fun to be able to look up your local road or check out italy on my iPhone!

Can't freaking wait to download it for my iPhone. Yeah, told you I love my iPhone so much!

Well, I'm off to try out Google Chrome and Google Earth. You should too!

Download it and try it out now!

Have a fun Sunday!

Chow!

P.S. It definitely feels the Chrome is much faster then Firefox writing and posting this post.
