Hey guys,

Finally, bought Gears of War for Pc or rather for my Alienware, m14x the first edition. I'm glad, I can actually play this game without any hitch. Just, install and play. I got GOW for my xbox 360 but, wanted to play it on my laptop too. Also, to see if my m14x can actually handle this game. Smooth as butter!

I used the xbox controller for pc to play this game. It's freaking awesome. Too bad, I can't buy the other GOW series for the pc. The first edition is good enough though. I think, updating my Gt555m Nvidia driver helps too. Some, of the other games like Skyrim, Dirt 2 and 3 (which I already uploaded on my Youtube.com/freaker126 ) can now be set to high. It used to be medium to high settings.

I've had this baby for 1 1/2 years now and it's still holding fine. Yeah, there are several hiccups along the way but, I manage to get past it all. Sometime, even install and re-installing this system but most of it is because of software issues. Make sure you backup your systems before you do any updating.

I'm actually running out of space to install any new games but I read somewhere you can actually run steam's game on an external drive. Haven't tried it yet. Most of the time, I just delete some of the games before installing new ones.

At the same time, I've been told that you can swap your dvd drive for another hdd to add more space. I haven't tried that yet too. Nowadays, people seldom need a dvd/writer so that's an added advantage. For the moment, I'm just lazy to add more space. but I might one day.

Anyway, check out the video and other videos on my blog and youtube channel. More to come!

Happy gaming!
