My Alienware m14x - Gears Of War for PC (1st edition) gameplay

My Alienware m14x - Gears Of War for PC (1st edition) gameplay

Hey guys,

Finally, bought Gears of War for Pc or rather for my Alienware, m14x the first edition. I'm glad, I can actually play this game without any hitch. Just, install and play. I got GOW for my xbox 360 but, wanted to play it on my laptop too. Also, to see if my m14x can actually handle this game. Smooth as butter!

I used the xbox controller for pc to play this game. It's freaking awesome. Too bad, I can't buy the other GOW series for the pc. The first edition is good enough though. I think, updating my Gt555m Nvidia driver helps too. Some, of the other games like Skyrim, Dirt 2 and 3 (which I already uploaded on my Youtube.com/freaker126 ) can now be set to high. It used to be medium to high settings.

I've had this baby for 1 1/2 years now and it's still holding fine. Yeah, there are several hiccups along the way but, I manage to get past it all. Sometime, even install and re-installing this system but most of it is because of software issues. Make sure you backup your systems before you do any updating.

I'm actually running out of space to install any new games but I read somewhere you can actually run steam's game on an external drive. Haven't tried it yet. Most of the time, I just delete some of the games before installing new ones.

At the same time, I've been told that you can swap your dvd drive for another hdd to add more space. I haven't tried that yet too. Nowadays, people seldom need a dvd/writer so that's an added advantage. For the moment, I'm just lazy to add more space. but I might one day.

Anyway, check out the video and other videos on my blog and youtube channel. More to come!

Happy gaming!

DIRT 3 lag fix for Pc Windows

DIRT 3 lag fix for Pc

iBUYPOWER Gaming Desktop PC i7-8700K 6-Core 3.7 GHz, Geforce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB, Z370 Motherboard, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD, 240GB SSD, Liquid Cooled, 802.11AC WiFi, Win 10 Home 64-Bit, Slate 9210, RGB Case

Hey guys,

The other day, I bought Dirt 3 off steams on dirt cheap sale around $8 bucks ( I love steam sales!). After, it finished downloading all the files and installations, I immediately fired it up to play. At the beginning of the game loading, it went well with around 30-50 fps.

But, when I started to start racing, it began to lag so much that I was really disappointed as I know my Alienware m14x can play this game at least on medium to high settings as I can play Dirt 2 on it with no problem.

I decided to Google for help on Dirt 3 lagging issue. Also checking it out on steams community and other sites. Finally, found this video I'm posting above on YouTube and decided to give it a try. At first, it doesn't seem to work.

I tried editing the directx 09 to 10-11 but it still won't work. Added, to that I just updated my steams client, Razer synapse for my Razer Naga mouse and my m14x was giving me error message. Tried playing via Razer game boost and the stupid game still lags too.

Finally, I tried following exactly the guy showed on the video which is to delete the "true" to "false" and "true again". Then saved. Tried playing Dirt 3 again and finally it works!

Set my game settings to medium-high and it doesn't lag anymore. So, I'm recommending that you guys try this tip if you're having the same lag issue. Oh yeah, since now i can play the game, I might make a video of  the game play on my m14x r1 soon!

I might also be making a gameplay video for Gears Of  War (first edition for pc) if I can find a software that can record the in-game video. I can't seems to use Fraps for this game.

Anyway, check out the video and enjoy Dirt 3!

Battlefield 4: Official 17 Minutes "Fishing in Baku" Gameplay Reveal

Battlefield 4: Official 17 Minutes "Fishing in Baku" Gameplay Reveal

Yo guys,

Battlefield 4 gameplay is out. If you haven't seen it yet, check out the video i'm posting here. Looks, pretty decent to me. I don't know what to make out of it. Graphic seems nice. Not sure if my m14x can handle it. Although, I might buy it for my ps3 instead. haha.

I think what's important is the story line. If the story line suckz, then I'm sure people would just be interested in the multi-player. All the others FPS like Medal of Honor, COD are evolving. For myself, I'm slowly getting tired of all the same kinda shooter. What's worse is the story. It doesn't catch me. And, if it doesn't catch me, I'll get bored of a game to even finish it. Maybe, because I have concentration problem. I can't stick to something for too long. I'll get bored easily. But, if something really interest me, then I'll stick to it, maybe till the end.

Most gamer are probably tired of the same thing too. The only thing improving is the graphics. Other then that, everything else is the same for couple of years now.

Anyway, check out the video!

Happy gaming!

In The Swamp Metro: Last Light Gamespot Demo Gameplay

In The Swamp Metro: Last Light Gamespot Demo Gameplay

Yo guys,

Check out this video In the Swamp Metro: Last Light demo gameplay video by Gamespot.

The game looks awesome. I think, graphic wise games are getting better and better all the time. Of course, it would be great if your PC have a graphic card that can handle it. With the latest announcement by Sony and Microsoft for PS4 and Xbox respectively, gamers, who are only interested in playing the damn game instead of having to to keep up with the latest PC hardware would be glad. Although, I'm not really sure it would be available for those consoles by then.

Anyway, for now, enjoy the vid!

Happy gaming!

Razer Edge: The World's First Tablet Designed for PC Gamers

Razer Edge: The World's First Tablet Designed for PC Gamers

Hey guys,

I'm pretty sure many of you have already seen the latest offering by Razer, the Razer Edge - gaming laptop in a tablet form.

Razer Edge Pro Gaming Tablet Click Here

I haven't been stoke about a product as much as this tablet. The reason being, I've been wanting a portable gaming laptop for so long, that's why I bought my current Alienware m14x (r1). It's still my main gaming rig. I'm actually typing this article on it right now. Nice, springy keyboard, I might add.

My m14x r1. Alienware tablet on the horizon maybe?

I have always love laptops (my first laptop was a Compaq more then 15 yrs ago!) more then a desktop mainly of course, because of it's portability. Also, I realized that every time I use the battery when normal surfing, it actually save on my electricity bills. Lol. Recently, I've bought an iPad for the same reason. I pretty much love it. It's so light, quick to access and you can use it basically everywhere. My only biff is that, you can't play the latest games like my favorite Dirt 2 or any modern FPS games on it. Ok, I play some FB games and even that I can't play some of it on my iPad because Apple don't like flash!

My 16gb iPad. I have more games then I can download on it!

That's why, I really like the Razer Edge gaming laptop in a freaking tablet form!

It's portable, it only weigh around 2 pounds. It's on SSD, which is pretty fast. Hate, that it's only 256Gb. I like to have my whole Steam games collections downloaded but you can't with just a 256Gb size. A windows 8 with touch screen. I have only heard or read bad things about W8 but I like trying out new things. The other day, I played with a HTC win phones and I kinda like it. It's different then what's android UI offering. I guess, windows 8 aren't that all bad, right?

Some gamer say that the Razer Edge are too expensive or the battery die out faster then you can reload your mp4. But, I see the Razer Edge as like any other portable gaming laptop. The battery will always suckz, BIG time. Unless, someone can come out with a better battery solution that can last as long as you would like to game on it then, you can't do much about it. Razer, are offering accessories like the console controller and keyboard dock with extra battery pack. So, at least it add a bit of more playable time to it. You'll have to come out with more dough though.

Right now, Razer doesn't have any competition for the 'gaming tablet' category. But, I'm wondering if Alienware or Dell looking at this niche market? I'll bet that they're waiting to see if Razer Edge gonna be a hit. I won't be surprise if Origin, Asus or any other company specialized in gaming laptop is looking at it too. Things, might just get interesting in the future. Yay, for consumers!

The Razer Edge Pro Gaming Tablet Click Here (currently on sale only in the U.S. and Canada)

For now, I won't be able to get my hands on the Razer Edge (unless, any razer pr reading this wanna surprise me with one) as it's only on sale in the U.S. and Canada. But, I'll be patient for now. Hey, patience is a virtue ay?

If it's on sale in my country, I'll certainly get the Razer Edge Pro. I'm a tech freak, so, I want this! Lol.

I'll definitely post video game play on my Razer Edge just like I did for my Alienware m14x. Until then, I'll just oggle it on youtube. For those of you living in the U.S. or Canada you can get it or order it online now at Razer main site.

My Alienware m14x - StarCraft II-Heart Of The Swarm Gameplay

My Alienware m14x - StarCraft II-Heart Of The Swarm Gameplay

Alienware AW17R4-7003SLV-PUS 17" Gaming Laptop (7th Generation Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD, Silver) with NVIDIA GTX 1060

Hey guys,

Check it out, my Starcraft II: Heart Of The Swarm gameplay on my alienware m14x r1.

Pretty smooth gameplay with 30-40 fps set all on high and with latest Nvidia graphic driver. I even setup my m14x with "Sarah" wallpaper and keyboard just for the heck of it. The pic's inside the vid.

I'm only showing the first mission gameplay using free fraps as usual. It got my lappie a little lag but without fraps its smooth sailing all the way. Love the cut-scenes and the story so far. Well, I always love this kind of stories. Why don't they make a movie out of it?

Anyway, hope you enjoy the vid.
