Sh*t! Where the heck did my idea gone to!

Ahh.. now I remember back what I was going to write about on today's post. Here goes..

The other day, my gf told me that she did a search on my name via google search engine. She found a host of sites that I had created to promote some of my online biz. I told her, I already knew you can do that. I've tried it before. Out of curiosity I tried typing "fauzi", "mohammad fauzi" and "mohammad fauzi taib" and a whole list of websites with the same name came out. I look for links to my own site and found a few. I was hoping that a link to my blog would appear but far from it. But, I found a link back on some sites that I have either leave comments or whatever.

To me blogging is useful way for us to promote our site. I used to put articles on my biz sites and I received a lot of targeted visitors. Then on, I realized that the more you write the better your chances of getting your site listed higher up on googles, yahoo, msn etc.

As you know people type in keywords to find sites on these search engines. Hence, if your blog have words that are related to the keywords type, it'll be shown to them. If they're interested, they'll click the link and visit your blog. That's how you get people to visit your site or blog!

Sometime, I post articles or advertisement promoting others products or services. This article and ads have certain "keywords" that are related to what they are selling. I put them here to get my blog listed in those search engines too. I can create a splash page to put this articles but now I prefer to put on my blog as quick content. If I have something to write about, I'll write, if not I just post whatever I can find or anything I wish to promote. If my visitors like what they see, they'll click the links to the main site and order. I got paid my commissions and everybody is happy.

Isn't blogging fun!?

Why don't you try do a search of your own name on these search engines and see what'll come up. You'll be surprise at what other individuals with the same name are doing! It might be kind of scary and wierd. But, if you have nothing else to do? Why not!

I was surfing through Blogexplosion when I saw a blog which includes a paypal "donate" button. I've been thinking of putting that on my blog for sometime. Even told my friend about it. Post - Blog of the day

Well the show is over folks. I'm no more "Blog of the day". But it was a good exposure for my blog. Here's the stat:

Impressions: 5488 Clicks: 187

Impressions are how many time people visit the main members site and seen my blog shown as Blog of the day. The number of clicks are the actual visit. One thing I realized is the impressions shown were lesser for Sunday. Maybe, not many people sign-in. I saw the other impressions for others blog was at the region of 6000+. So, I get less clicks. If I had gotten more impressions, I reckoned I'll be getting 200+ visits!

I also wish to thanks those who visited my blog and leave a comment or two. I actually visited some of those blogs. I'm always interested to visit others blog and see what others are up to. Sometime you see pretty interesting blog out here. But, as always I receive "Spam" comments from Anonymous who spout rubbish that doesn't have to do with anything but promote their site. Don't even have a blog for that matter. I know these people use some robot promotion software to spam peoples blog. I've seen people promote it. I had always thought that these people have no manners and ethical to spam bloggers blog. It's enough, they are spamming emails but to spam blogs are just plain nonsense. The worst part is they don't even have a blog!

Since, I set up my own blog, today is the first time, I was angry and decided to delete these spam comments on my blog. I don't mind if you people personally visit my blog and leave a comment and promote your blog. But, to use a robot to spam blogs is un-ethical to me. Geez I haven't even bathe and I'm already work-up.

Well, at least, I have something to write today.

It's monday, and the start of a new week. Waiting for good news this week. Wonder, if it's going to be a gooOOooo ood week...

Oh yeah, one other thing. Now, only real visitors can leave comments on my site. I have opted that people need to key in some key words before they can post. You guys should opt for it too. To prevent being spam by robot!

I'm Blogexplosion "Blog of the day" ..weeeee

Normally, I won't post anything on my blog this early (9:00 am Singapore time). In fact, I should still be asleep right now!

My friend woke me up sms-ing me about Milan Baros scoring a winner for Aston Villa in yesterday match. I must say, Baros looks good in an Aston Villa shirt. I think it sparks up a bit on Aston Villa play. He's such a buzy bee that defenders are having a hard time marking this man. I don't know why Milan Baros wanna leave Liverpool right now when they are the current Champions League winner and now Europe Supercup owner too. But, I kind of understand maybe. He's been there a long time already and sometime you just need a change. A new beginning.

Life like that, you need a change or two sometime to sparks up your life. See and do things in a different way. When I'm bored, I try to change my routine a bit. Go out and have fun, forget about work. Forget about your everyday worries. And when I come back, I have a lot new ideas coming in. If you're having writers block, don't force yourself to write. Just go out for a walk, or do something else. Rejunevate yourself. Ideas would then starts creeping in and you'll can't wait to start writing again!

See? Actually, I was only going to write about my blog being chosen by Blogexplosion Traffic Exchange as "Blog of the day", in the end I talk about something else.

Just wanna say thanks to those who visits my blog from BlogExplosion. The ironic thing is the same visitors are complaining about my blog breaking the rules by having a popup. Even though it's just a small one. I was actually using the small popup to improve website traffics to my online biz site. I don't know if I should cry of happiness or sadness because of this. As always though, I try to change a lemon into a lemonade. Liverpool..KING of Europe

I'm having a headache. No, not because Liverpool won the Europe SuperCup this morning (singapore time). But, because I stay up late to watch the soccer match. Although, I didn't really watch the whole match. I was almost half-asleep. Because of that I'm having headache the whole day today.

Liverpool was a goal down before half-time and a quarter after the breaks. Then Cisse came in as a substitute and guess what? Liverpool with his help actually score 3 and win the European Supercup!

CSK really doesn't put much of a fight. Yes, they have a good chance of winning the same as Liverpool but somehow Liverpool always had the extra to go all the way and win back. The same as during the European champions League last year. I always thought, they have the Bull-dog mentality to go all the way. That's why Ac Milan took them for granted and they pay for it.

It's good actually to watch Liverpool hold up the cup. They have been in the doldrums for so long getting the stick and relying only on past glory. But, there's a problem. They don't really play good entertaining football!

If they really want to be KING of Europe, they should start playing good football and win at the same time.

Well, that's it for now. A good thing my headache is getting a little bit better. They're going to show Premiership Saturday Soccer match right now. So got to go.
