I've bought many watch bands for my Apple Watch Ultra. Then, I saw an apple watch band adapter and out of curiosity bought it. I make some measurements and found out I could fit any watch band with a size between 18 to 22mm. I have extra straps which I bought for my Casio watch and it fits!

The Casio watch band looks nice to me and when I check out for watch bands online, there are plenty of them sold online. Your choice of design and band materials are practically unlimited. Yup, I felt like a kid inside a candy store. I love watches and I love the many watch bands' designs!

I'm really crazy about my Apple watch ultra right now. It's like the watch I ever wanted. A computer on your wrist. Though, it's still limited in what you can do unlike on a phone. I still can't read my full email or click links to social media sites. If only we have real official apps for the watch.

Of course, because of the small screen, the experience is not the same but you can create apps specifically for a watch. Just like they did for the mobile phone. Remember back then when people were requesting desktop-level software on mobile phones?

Nowadays, apps for mobile phones are more than enough for the average user. I like Samsung Dex which you can mirror your phone on your desktop. If you don't have a computer, just link via HDMI to a big monitor. Now, you can work on the documents that are on your phone. Voila!

You can actually mirror your watch to your iPhone. Check my video here where I mirrored to my iPhone 13 playing a zombie overkill watch game. If only I can link to a bigger monitor and work on a document or check out websites just by using the mirroring app. Way cool!

I've been wondering if I could link my xbox one s controller and a physical keyboard to my Apple Watch Ultra. Nope. I've tried via the watch accessibility settings and it can definitely link but I couldn't use it to type anything. I'm not sure why.

Someone asked about the ability to link a keyboard to his watch on a forum and one guy asked what's the point. If you can do it, why not? Don't stop there. The world won't progress if everyone keeps asking, what's the point. What's the point of going to the moon or mars blah blah. Read this article!

I'm just saying, the Apple Watch can be much more than just your average smartwatch. Think different. They can be anything and everything. An iPhone on your wrist is not impossible. Because of the watch size, we have to be more creative and more exciting with more apps and of course games!

What have I bought and have been using these few days? The Apple Watch Ultra! And, I'm really loving it. I've been resisting not getting the Apple watch for a long time. I finally caved in after my nephew bought one and showed it to me.

Yes. I didn't know anything about the Apple Watch Ultra before this. It actually intrigued me. Frankly, I've been thinking of getting the Apple Watch since it first came out but I wasn't a fan of the design. I wasn't also into health until now.

I've been cycling to work and gone to cool places I've never been to. That's when I started using Google maps and also got interested in reading my health and fitness stats. I even bought a cheap smartwatch that supposedly can read my heartbeat rates.

For cycling stats, I have the magene bike computer. I'm still going to use it when I go out riding. Before, I wasn't really sure that a watch can read my heartbeat or give me all the stats. Like, I've said, I have never owned a smartwatch before. Simply because they're expensive.

Well, they used to be expensive. Nowadays, you can get a good cheap one with all the apps to help you read your performance stats. Okay, maybe the sensors aren't as good or advanced enough. The one I got has a heartbeat reading, calories burned, and steps.

What I really loved about my Ultra though is the ability to read your ECG reading. As they stated, they can't check for stroke but you can at least see if there are any irregularities in rhythm. I always thought I have a heart problem. As my breathing isn't good. Turn out, I have a broken nose.

Yes. I didn't know I had a broken nose until I was referred to a nose specialist. He discovered my nose was so badly broken it formed an 'S'. No wonder, I've been having breathing problems. I went through my two years of military service with a broken nose. Lol.

Anyway, besides being able to check your heartbeat, blood oxygen, and other useful fitness sports stats, I also love the ability to reply to my WhatsApp messages. My nephew also taught me to use the walkie-talkie app. Now, we can voice chat anytime via our Apple watch. Cool!

I've been buying an Apple watch ultra band and games to play. There aren't many good games, yet. I feel developers aren't taking the apple watch seriously enough. Surprisingly, I actually love playing quick-fix games on my watch. At 49mm, the screen is pretty big. Looks bulky, but light on the wrist.

The Apple Watch is the future. It's good enough that you can even start to leave your phone at home. It's not perfect. It's like the first gen iPhone. They have been improving on it and now it's becoming more powerful. A camera in the future? Real social media app? Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and youtube!

You can actually already use third-party apps to access them on your phone. But, we want official apps. Right now, I'm only able to receive FB and Instagram notifications. But, can't click on the link to view it. There's an ubrowser and a hidden safari browser for some reason can't play youtube and log in to FB.

The Ultra watch battery can pretty much last the whole day if you're working the usual 8 hrs job. By the time I reached home, it'll still be at 60-75%. I don't need to charge on Sat night if I'm not going out on Sunday. Guess, my typical usage isn't that heavy. 

I still have 24GB of storage left from 32GB. I love how all the apps are small byte sizes. I believe there are occasions when you don't want to bring along your phone or maybe bring it along while hiking as a standby in an emergency. A smartwatch will be your main device in the future instead.

I was thinking of getting a new Casio watch and then, I saw the Casio illuminator w218h digital sports watch. It's relatively cheap, so I guess, why not? I really like the design and red color straps. It's also really light. It's simple without the fancy smancy stuff.

All I wanted was to know what the date and time is. I follow the time religiously. Especially, when at work. I divide my time or instead work into four parts. The short break, lunch, another short break, and the last lap before going home.

The other day, I decided to wear my mrw-200h Casio watch to work. I haven't worn it for a while. I felt like something hitting my hands. When I looked at my left hand, my watch was gone. The straps broke like crackers. I thought, maybe, I'll go to the watch shop to replace it.

Well, when I reach the shop, it was close. I'm not sure if it has finally closed down for good. It's a pretty old shop. Been there for as long as I've moved to that area. Maybe, the covid-19 pandemic, was the final straw that broke the camel's back?

I decided to just change the straps myself. I checked my watch's back and saw the mrw-200h version with 18mm straps size. I've never done this before so, I kinda guess. I search around and discovered that there are a lot of watch straps available in different sizes of course.

I found the cheapest price I can get and bought it. Crossing my fingers that I bought the right type. When it finally arrived, I thought it was a little bit big. But, when I actually tried to change it, wasn't the case. I bought the straps that include the tools too.

My sis and ex-colleague thought it was like being a rocket scientist to be able to change your own watch straps. But, it was pretty easy. If you have the tools, just push the spring rods to the left or right and out it goes. Mine actually fly off.

While checking out watches that I wanted to buy, I saw the Casio pink and thought, maybe I'll buy two of them. One for my mom and another for my sis. I didn't tell them as I wanted it to be a surprise gift. I think it looks nice and simple. Also, it's pink!

My mrw-200h Casio watch with new straps replacement.

I'm going to go check my G-Shock watches and see if I can find new batteries and straps replacement for some of them. I haven't worn them for years. I love the G-Shock watch. I didn't like them at first as I thought they don't look nice and only kids wore them.

After I got my first G-Shock, I started to buy more of them. Planning to wear for different occasions or when at work. Now that I've changed the Casio watch straps, I've bought one or two more G-Shock watches. I might get the Pro Trek watch with the compass, next.

Yesterday, was my birthday and I wanted a new G-Shock watch. Specifically, looking for a yellow color watch band with a different face than the ones that I've got. Been searching around and found this beautiful piece. Only later did I realized that its watch band is interchangeable.

I got myself a G-shock camo designed watch band that I could easily and quickly change without much fuss. The watchband has a special design 'quick release' spring bars that are included with and integrated into the band. Way cool!

You'll need to know the exact width of watch band before you purchased any. Or, it won't fit. I've checked and measured my original yellow band and it's 24mm. So, the next time, I'm shopping around for a new watchband, I'll just need to remember the width of the original band.

I really love the G-Shock GA2000 1A9. Its got a nice design and the ability to change your watchband in a whim. It has the usual stopwatch, alarm, world time and date mode. If you're into sport, the yellow/black band will suits you find. Change into the leather band if you're going on a night out!
