I was thinking of getting a new Casio watch and then, I saw the Casio illuminator w218h digital sports watch. It's relatively cheap, so I guess, why not? I really like the design and red color straps. It's also really light. It's simple without the fancy smancy stuff.

All I wanted was to know what the date and time is. I follow the time religiously. Especially, when at work. I divide my time or instead work into four parts. The short break, lunch, another short break, and the last lap before going home.

The other day, I decided to wear my mrw-200h Casio watch to work. I haven't worn it for a while. I felt like something hitting my hands. When I looked at my left hand, my watch was gone. The straps broke like crackers. I thought, maybe, I'll go to the watch shop to replace it.

Well, when I reach the shop, it was close. I'm not sure if it has finally closed down for good. It's a pretty old shop. Been there for as long as I've moved to that area. Maybe, the covid-19 pandemic, was the final straw that broke the camel's back?

I decided to just change the straps myself. I checked my watch's back and saw the mrw-200h version with 18mm straps size. I've never done this before so, I kinda guess. I search around and discovered that there are a lot of watch straps available in different sizes of course.

I found the cheapest price I can get and bought it. Crossing my fingers that I bought the right type. When it finally arrived, I thought it was a little bit big. But, when I actually tried to change it, wasn't the case. I bought the straps that include the tools too.

My sis and ex-colleague thought it was like being a rocket scientist to be able to change your own watch straps. But, it was pretty easy. If you have the tools, just push the spring rods to the left or right and out it goes. Mine actually fly off.

I bought black and white straps. Thinking, of using either color. It looks cool to me. You can watch my #shorts video here of the watch. I'm already thinking of buying a G-Shock watch case or straps for my other old watches. It'll be a fun project for me to do.



Casio Classic Pink Watch W215H-4A

While checking out watches that I wanted to buy, I saw the Casio pink and thought, maybe I'll buy two of them. One for my mom and another for my sis. I didn't tell them as I wanted it to be a surprise gift. I think it looks nice and simple. Also, it's pink!

My mrw-200h Casio watch with new straps replacement.

I'm going to go check my G-Shock watches and see if I can find new batteries and straps replacement for some of them. I haven't worn them for years. I love the G-Shock watch. I didn't like them at first as I thought they don't look nice and only kids wore them.

After I got my first G-Shock, I started to buy more of them. Planning to wear for different occasions or when at work. Now that I've changed the Casio watch straps, I've bought one or two more G-Shock watches. I might get the Pro Trek watch with the compass, next.

Why you'll want an apple watch series 4 - 12 sep 2018 Apple Special Event

As you know by now, a new version of the apple watch were announced on Sep 12, at Apple special event. I'm really intrigued by the apple watch. I've never owned it, but thought of buying one. Just to see what's the fuss all about.

The price though, are pretty high for a 'watch'. Albeit, a digital watch. Another thing is that, I don't really like the design. I've saw people wearing it, and it look kinda weird. Especially, if it's on a guy's wrist. I've yet to see someone wearing it and making me say, wow, that's cool. Lol :p

I also, find it ridiculous how expensive the band is. The Nike's band design do look nice though. I can't really comment on how good or useful the watch is as I've never owned one. I'm still on the fence. The latest, Apple watch series 4 might changed my mind.

If you watched the Apple ads showcase video above, they're trying to sell it as a sports and health device. They even called the president of the, American Health Association to give a talk why you need the Apple watch. Go figure.

The Apple watch have definitely come a long way and they have improved the device further with better technology available. If you're a sport and health nuts, you'll find the watch useful. But, for people like me, who only exercise is walking to the fridge, I don't know.

Again, back to the pricing. Is, really a big hindrance. That's coming from a guy who have a couple of G-Shock watches. The good news is that, prices for the Apple series 3 would go down, and that might help first time buyer like me to check it out.

Remember, that they have version that come with and without cellular. If not, it will also be much much cheaper without one. I just realized that Apple watch might be useful for the deaf or half deaf people like me. As, I'm always missing calls or msg when the phone is inside my pocket.

The apple watch would be useful as it'll always be on my wrist. I'm the type that always want to know the time. Having, a reminder, msg or call alert on my watch would be much helpful. So, I guess, the Apple watch not just for the geeks, sports and health nuts after all.

Mammoni: The Ultimate Mamas Boy

Most, Americans and Europeans detest the notion of a grown man living with his mom or parents. But, it's nothing really new. And, there's always two camp who either don't like it or don't think too much about it. It's not really a big deal. It's all to do with cultures really. It doesn't make you less of a man to live with your mom all your life or at least until you get married. Asian, middle east and some Europeans countries believe in a family system. Unlike, some who dumps their parents to a retirement house and leave them there to die. That kind of things are frowned upon. It's really how you see it.

It's sometime because of economical reason. It's better to leave together in a family system where you as a family can help each other in tough time. Especially, in the kind of environment we are living right now. Where else can you go for help other then your own family?

If you're saying you can talk to your friends to ask for help or whatever then you must be kidding. Friends are a dime a dozen. Out of 10 friends you know you'll be lucky if you have one to fall back on when the going gets tough. There are some things that you can ask from a friend. Like they say, blood are thicker then water. Your friends will leave you in an instant when they know you have no money, no car, no house, no job but your parent will gladly accept you back. At least, until you can get back on your feet.

I read in a newspaper today about a man who won compensation for an accident that left him disable to a tune of $1 million but his wife use it instead to get married to another man, have kids and even start her own business with her new husband. While, her disabled husband left locked inside his own house for months without anybody taking care of him. He didn't died if you were wondering.

See? You can't even trust your own bloody wife!

If only, his mother were there to help him. For his case though, his brothers came to his rescue.

Yeah, of course. Living alone do have their pluses. Like, being able to get laid every week. Living and independent life. The freedom to do anything you like. Even, walk around naked in your own home. Who cares right? Ha ha!

Well, that's why I say, to each his own. You can't judge a person because of what you believe in. You have to know that in this world there's a lot of cultures that you didn't know exist. Free your mind. Don't just believe that there's only one way to live in this world. Like GOD create man with many cultures so that they can learn from each other. Not, to fight with each other. Learn to live with each other. Interact. Widen, the way you think.

Well, anyway. I was actually going to talk about Chelsea FC today but when I watch the video about Mammoni an Italian word for man who still live with their mom by 60 Mins, I was intrigued. The comments were also interesting. Some think nothing of it while some, mostly Americans think it's kind of stupid. Well, like I said, it's just cultural division kind of views.
