I bought the Samsung Dex Pad yesterday and been playing around with it 'till way past midnight. I even blogged and posted, using just my phone and dex pad, connected to my philips Tv. To me, you can definitely use it as a normal pc.

You can also play console-like games on your Tv with just your s10+. What I like about the Dex pad is that it's so light, you can easily bring it along and don't have to worry about any extra added weight. It also doubles up as a fast charge!

If you're wondering if the phone will get too hot when playing games, don't worry. There's actually a small fan on the dex pad. It will still be hot, but not too much. You can watch my video gameplay of some games with an xbox one s controller.

Full games like Stardew Valley and Rush Rally 3 are my favorite. Especially, Rush Rally 3 which has console-like graphics and it plays well on the s10+. It's also a full game. None, of that nonsense in-apps purchase crap. Of course, right out of the box, you can play using your Xbox controller.

I also tried playing some retro games with the retroarch app and it works well too. Don't have to worry about setting your controller before playing. Although, I can't find a way to make it play full screen. Install Kodi, and you can watch your favorite movies on the Tv.

Remember, to set your phone to 'mirroring' when you want to play games. Or the controller won't work. The games will also automatically goes to full screen. Change, to Samsung Dex desktop mode once you have enough of gaming.

Frankly, I scan the Google Play Store almost every day and there are not many games that's to my liking. Especially, when they don't indicate any controller support. I will delete those games once I realized it later. Such, a waste of my time.

Anyhoo, the Samsung Dex pad is definitely a useful accessory to bring along. For work and for play!

I just got my Samsung Dex Pad today, and I'm loving it. In fact, I'm using samsung dex right now. I'm trying out if I can do my normal blogging by just using my Samsung S10+. So far, so good!

There are, of course some differences in using a pc and a phone. Since, you're actually using android OS. For one thing, I normally, select and then 'right click' to copy and paste. But, instead, I have to use the keyboard shortcuts.

They should build android, to act like a pc. As, almost everyone are used to using one. If you're wondering, I hooked up my dex pad to my Philips Tv. And, I'm sitting right in front of it. This is just a temp setup.

I don't recommend anyone to sit in front of a Tv like a normal monitor but, my bed are actually connected to the tv cabinet. So, I'm actually sitting on my bed, while typing this. And, it does not seem to hurt my eyes.

This could actually work. With this setup, I could easily work anywhere and anytime. All I need are to bring along my dex pad, my phone, maybe either a wired or bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Heck, I can even use the phone as a mouse.

For gaming, it's a hit and miss. The reason being, game developers don't usually have controller or mouse and keyboard support for their game. Also, some controller doesn't seem to work when you're on samsung dex mode.

For example, you can't play gear.club on full screen mode. And, graphics are a little pixelated. Also, the controller don't work. But, when I change to 'mirroring' mode, it goes full screen on auto and the controller work as usual.

I'm not sure if the full screen mode have anything to do with the samsung phone apps setting. You need to change the setting from 'auto' to 'full screen'. So, every time, you open the app on 'mirroring' mode it will go straight to full screen.

Everything, are pretty snappy. There's no kind of lag or whatever. That just prove how powerful the mobile phone processor is right now. This is the future of mobile computing. Work and play with just your phone!

All we need now are game and app developers to start creating games with the damn controller, or mouse and keyboard support. Indie game developers can have the head start. What you say guys?

So, my 200th video on my youtube channel will be about my Gaming and Entertainment Room setup. I didn't really thought about doing it as my 200th video. But, it just happened that I wanted to try see how it looks like playing a pc game on my new Philips tv.

My pc have two hdmi port. One, which is link to my pc GTX 1060 graphic card. And, the other on my intel hdmi. I just extend the cable from my pc to my tv. Even, with intel HD Graphics 630, I can play Fear 3 really smooth without hiccups.

The cabinets actually just been done a couple of month back by my contractor. I've been thinking and planning of a setup where, I can keep all my books and games all at one place. Hoping, that my room will look a little cleaner and organized.

I put my Pc sound system and desktop on top the table and it felt a little cramped. But, I guess it'll do. I'm still thinking of maybe getting a second monitor. But, because of space constrained, I thought of getting a bigger monitor instead. That could be a little further into the future.
