iPad Pro 10.5 DX2 shin megami tensei liberation gameplay

Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch (256GB, Wi-Fi, Space Gray) 2017 Model

Hey guys,

Check out my gameplay of DX2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation!

It's the same authentic Japanese style of graphics, design, and gameplay. I love the fact that you can hear the characters speaking in Japanese while giving you an English subtitle. I have heard of the game coming to mobile but only now decided to download and try it out.

Playing it on my iPad Pro 10.5 is a joy. I'm a little curious why they won't let us play horizontally. Seem like they design it to play specifically for mobile phone. But, it's always better to hold the iPad and playing the game sideways.

The game though is optimized for the big screen. Unlike, some old app where you can opt to resize to fit the bigger screen or use it with the original phone sizes. Another gripe for me is that this is a free-to-play game. This means you'll have to buy stuff to upgrade. Right out the bat, they want me to pay $66 to buy 'gems'. De fck!?

I'm not sure if you can finish the game without paying. But, I'll rather pay a one-time price than having to keep paying forever to play. In any case, I'll probably stop playing if it comes to that. I'm the old gen type of gamer.

I hate today's emphasis on eSport and multiplayer. I'm more into stories and playing solo. I like to play NEW games and trying out new adventures. I'll get bored playing the same game over and over again. What's the fun in that?

And, who the heck wants to keep paying to keep playing?

That's probably why I haven't bought any new games for a while now. Okay, I've only recently bought games for my Nintendo switch. Forget about buying games for my Xbox or pc anymore. Greedy developers don't deserve my money.

In the early days, I used to buy games for mobile phones. Especially, for my sony-Ericsson phone. I was also buying games for the iPhone in the early days. I stop buying (and playing) once they start the free-to-play but actually not a free concept.

Only the new generation of players are getting used to that. Which, in the end, caused problems and actually addictions for some. Frankly, there aren't any games that excite me anymore. Every game that came out seem to be only interested in eSport or multiplayer.

You don't feel the need to finish games anymore except going for high scores. There's no story, beginning, or end. Even, if there's a story, you'll have to keep paying to end the game!?

Talking about milking the cow. :P

SteelSeries Nimbus Wireless iPad Pro Gaming Controller

SteelSeries Nimbus Wireless Gaming Controller for Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac

Hey guys,

Check it out!

The iPad pro are great for gaming. But, what's missing are gamepad that also support popular games like gear.club, real racing, fps and rpg games. I've been searching around and I think SteelSeries Nimbus are one of the best there is right now!

This gamepad have been out for awhile and that means by now, there are probably 100+ more games available for it. I'm not sure but I think there's plan for PUBG and Fortnite to be compatible for iOS devices. It will be awesome if finally such games can be played with the nimbus!

Game developers should be mindful about the availability of the Nimbus. In fact, they should create games that are compatible with the nimbus gamepad. More console level fps games or rpg. I'm pretty sure gamers would right out of the box think about using their controller when choosing games.

You can check out some of the game already listed to be compatible here (SteelSeries Support page).

Get the controller via the link below:

SteelSeries Nimbus Wireless Gaming Controller for Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac

  • Pressure-sensitive buttons for precise gaming control
  • Console-style left and right analog triggers
  • Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity
  • Lithium ion battery recharges via Lightning connector for 40-plus hours of gaming. Four LEDs display your player status during multiplayer gameplay
  • Compatible with games for MFi certified controllers on iPhone X, 8, 8 Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus, 6, 6 Plus, 5, 5C, 5S; iPad Pro, Mini, Mini 4, Mini 3, Mini 2, Air, Air 2; iPod Touch (6th Gen); Mac; Apple TV (4th Gen)
  • Color-coded action buttons
Would be cool if it comes with a case. iPad gamers, would definitely appreciate the extra protection. I'm not sure why, Apple not thinking the iPad as a portable gaming console. The nintendo switch are popular because it's portable (my nephew would swear to that!) And, now they have console level games like DoomSkyrim and probably Diablo coming soon!?

Having a controller like Nimbus and hopefully a MFi xbox controller would make gaming on the iPad much much awesome. Heck, why doesn't Apple themselves make more money by designing and building their own gaming accessories?

Hello, Apple! You guys stupid? iOS gaming have evolved so much since the first iPhone! What you guys waiting for? There are already tons of games available for iOS and gamers been crying out loud for games that can be played using a gamepad.

Get in the game already!
