iPad Pro 10.5 DX2 shin megami tensei liberation gameplay

Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch (256GB, Wi-Fi, Space Gray) 2017 Model

Hey guys,

Check out my gameplay of DX2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation!

It's the same authentic Japanese style of graphics, design, and gameplay. I love the fact that you can hear the characters speaking in Japanese while giving you an English subtitle. I have heard of the game coming to mobile but only now decided to download and try it out.

Playing it on my iPad Pro 10.5 is a joy. I'm a little curious why they won't let us play horizontally. Seem like they design it to play specifically for mobile phone. But, it's always better to hold the iPad and playing the game sideways.

The game though is optimized for the big screen. Unlike, some old app where you can opt to resize to fit the bigger screen or use it with the original phone sizes. Another gripe for me is that this is a free-to-play game. This means you'll have to buy stuff to upgrade. Right out the bat, they want me to pay $66 to buy 'gems'. De fck!?

I'm not sure if you can finish the game without paying. But, I'll rather pay a one-time price than having to keep paying forever to play. In any case, I'll probably stop playing if it comes to that. I'm the old gen type of gamer.

I hate today's emphasis on eSport and multiplayer. I'm more into stories and playing solo. I like to play NEW games and trying out new adventures. I'll get bored playing the same game over and over again. What's the fun in that?

And, who the heck wants to keep paying to keep playing?

That's probably why I haven't bought any new games for a while now. Okay, I've only recently bought games for my Nintendo switch. Forget about buying games for my Xbox or pc anymore. Greedy developers don't deserve my money.

In the early days, I used to buy games for mobile phones. Especially, for my sony-Ericsson phone. I was also buying games for the iPhone in the early days. I stop buying (and playing) once they start the free-to-play but actually not a free concept.

Only the new generation of players are getting used to that. Which, in the end, caused problems and actually addictions for some. Frankly, there aren't any games that excite me anymore. Every game that came out seem to be only interested in eSport or multiplayer.

You don't feel the need to finish games anymore except going for high scores. There's no story, beginning, or end. Even, if there's a story, you'll have to keep paying to end the game!?

Talking about milking the cow. :P

Kodi and Retroarch app on my iPad pro 10.5!

Apple iPad Pro 10.5 Inch 256GB Silver (WiFi Only, Mid 2017) MPF02LL/A

Hey guys,

Check it out!

After searching around on Google, I finally found out how I can sideload two of my favorite apps!

I can't completely enjoy my entertainment devices, unless I can install both Kodi and Retroarch on it. With Kodi, you can watch movies, live tv and other shows. While with Retroarch, you can play all the retro games you want!

The apps aren't officially available on Apple store. That's why you have to find it elsewhere and sideload it to your apple devices. If you're also interested to install both of this apps, you can read up on the instructions below. Pretty easy as a pie!

Thanks to the guys that make these possible!

How to install Kodi and Retroarch on IOS 11?

  1. Download Syncios IOS and Android File manager - Click here!
  2. Download Cydia Impactor for sideloading apple .ipa file - Click here!
  3. Download the latest Kodi .ipa file for iOS 11 (Article and instructions) - Click here!
  4. Download the latest Retroarch .ipa file for iOS 11 ( Forum with updates and instructions ) - Click here!
  5. To be able to sideload the .ipa file via cydia impactor, you'll need a one time random generated password to install the app. Sign-in to https://appleid.apple.com/ and you'll see inside your account page how to get it. It's better that way then using your main password. For every app, they'll create different random password!
Read up and follow the instructions via the articles and forum before you attempt to sideload the apps. You'll understand why you had to go through loops to install it the first time. It took me awhile to make sense of the procedure and error.

Goto Apple id to get random password for each app install.

For installing the apps to my iPad pro, the Syncios file manager supposed to be able to do that. But, it didn't work for me. That's why I decided to try cydia impactor route. It took me awhile to download my games rom to my iPad as I didn't know which folder to put it.

Click the 'eye' icon beside the Retroarch app to add new folder for your game roms.

I discovered that, I should have click the 'eye' icon beside the retroarch app and then create a new folder for the roms. Which would be easier for me to access. I tried to play a few games and it actually work!

Now, my iPad pro are really the best portable entertainment system!
