this could be the last time i ride a bike #gravelbike #mountainbike #roadbike

Hey guys,

Check it out!

This could be the last time I ride a bike. It's been almost two months and I still can't bend my left knee. Maybe, I'm getting old. It used to heal after over a week or so. But, after I came back from my thailand holiday, it won't heal. I can't even cycle to work anymore.

My last ride was last month. I've wanted to test-ride my new carbon fiber hybrid gravel bike. I also wanted to try out a new cycling route. Before that, it had been over a month since I had cycled. The route back was too far, over 65km.

As I haven't done any cycling for over a month because of my knee problem, I started to strain and cramps. I walked for a while pushing my bike till able to cycle again. I should have tested the bike before attempting the long route.

The seat was too high and my wrist started to feel pain. I already had a problem with my wrists. When I had covid, I had high fevers and it attacked all my joints. It's like it knows I've been having problems with them. Guess, when you're getting old, it all comes back to haunt you.

I've been using oilments, inflammation gel, and knee joint supplements. It works at first. That's how I was able to test-ride my new bike gravel bike. But, I've been struggling to heal my left knee again after that long ride. Was I wrong to overstrain my legs too early?

Maybe, so. Now, I have to bear the consequences. I might have taken my knee problem too lightly. In fact, now, my feet are swollen. I don't even know why. It's not the first time I've had a swollen foot. It's because I've been kicking things when I was angry before.

Well, if you've kicked a wooden chair, you'll know it's gonna get swollen. But, I didn't even do anything. That's why, I'm perplexed. Yesterday, I remembered my late dad had the same swollen foot problem. And, it's because of diabetes

I'm wondering if I have diabetes or even gout? The old man at work told me I might have gout. He advised me to have a blood test. My friend said maybe it's gout too. I don't know anything about diabetes or gout. The last thing I want to do is see a doctor or a knee specialist.

So much for cycling as a form of low-impact exercise. Now, I can't even bend my left knee anymore. The thing is, I did start to feel pain in both my knees and the strain around it. Though I cycled to work every day, it wasn't that far. I was getting fitter and able to cycle far and up slopes.

To be clear, I already had a problem with my knees even before I started cycling again. I trained in TKD, played soccer, did gym, and joined the military. It was only after I started working that I stopped doing any kind of exercise. I even had a slipped disc.

Anyway, I hope my knee will get better and I can start to ride again. Missing it!

JJC optical glass lcd screen protector for my nikon z fc lcd touchscreen

Screen Protector for Nikon Z fc Zfc Camera, HUIPUXIANG 0.3mm High Definition 9H Hardness Optical LCD Premium Glass Protective Cover [3+1 Pack]

Hey guys,

Check it out!

Yes, it's already been 5 days and I'm still covid positive. The good news is my fever and body aches are gone. Maybe, a little cough here and there. Other than that, I'm doing well. I guess, this is a good chance for me to relax at home.

I bought an LCD screen protector for my Nikon z fc. Which is a touch screen. I keep forgetting about that. Before it arrived, I didn't want to get my screen all smudge with my fingerprints without the protector. Once, it arrived, I quickly did a quick install.

Installation is rather easy. As you just need to make sure that it's straight and follows the LCD screen's 4 corners. Make sure you clean the touch screen with the alcohol cleaner. Wipe it with a cloth and use the sticker for any little dust.

After installation, I test the touchscreen and it works perfectly. Having an LCD touchscreen is pretty useful. No wonder most camera reviewers always wanted it. My Nikon p950 LCD wasn't touchscreen and I didn't really care about it.

I found myself using the touchscreen which is much faster when you want to quickly go through the menu or settings. I wish there is a scroller wheel on the Z fc like on my P950. When I want to go up and down the list, a scroller wheel is much faster than having to press up and down.

Most if not all reviewers of the z fc think the battery cover is flimsy or the texture of the camera is plastic and cheap. Personally, I don't have any complaints about the texture or battery cover. That's just nitpicking. I did buy myself a handgrip for a better grip on the camera.

I'm also looking around for some affordable lenses to be used with my new camera. The 28mm kit is good and sharp. I'm learning how to use it. But, as I have covid and am busy with work, haven't yet tried it outside. No matter as I'm not really in a hurry.

I like cycling to nature parks and beaches. It'll be great for me to bring along my Nikon z fc and take some nice pictures. Besides posting my videos and pics on my youtube channel, I also post them on Google Maps. If you like traveling and taking pictures post them there.

NIKON NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 S Telephoto Zoom Lens for Nikon Z Mirrorless Cameras

I'll need to save up if I want to get any of the lenses above. They are pretty expensive. That's why I like my Nikon P950. Its 83x optical zoom is fun to use. And, you don't need to bring along any separate lenses. Well, every camera has its pros and cons.

I'm just happy to have two good cameras to play with now.

finally! my new cool retro nikon z fc camera with 28mm lens kit

Z fc DX-Format Mirrorless Camera Body w/NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR - Silver

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I hope you had watch my Nikon z fc with 28mm lens kit unboxing. You can watch it here. I'm still waiting for a good day to go out and shoot some pictures with the camera. I usually go cycling to nature parks or beaches and take photos.

Right now, I'm under self-quarantine at home because somehow someone infected me with covid. Luckily, I got the mild versions. The doc had recommended me do the swab test and it was confirmed I have it. Apparently, there's been a spike in covid infection recently.

No matter. It's not like I'm in a hurry to go out and test my new z fc. I'm actually waiting for my handgrip by Smallrig to be delivered today. I chose the silver design because it looks much nicer than the black one. I'm sure it'll be more ergonomic.

Having a proper handgrip on a camera is a much nicer feeling than a flat one. Especially, if you're gonna use it for a few hours. When I use my Nikon p950 the handgrip makes it much easier and more comfortable to hold.

I'll probably make a video of it later. Besides that, I also bought an AstrHori 50mm F2.0 Large Aperture lens. Now, I'll have the 28 and 50mm for my Nikon z fc. I was hoping to get the 85mm lens but it's kinda expensive. I don't have the budget for that.

If you want a good camera and good lens you might want to start saving now. Anyway, since I'm a newbie photographer, I don't want to spend too much on expensive lenses. With the 28 and 50mm I can play around and see what I can get out of them.

AstrHori 50mm F2.0 Large Aperture Full Frame Manual Prime Lens with Blur Effect & Filter Slot Compatible with Nikon Z-Mount Mirrorless Camera Z50, ZFC, Z5, Z6, Z6ⅡZ7, Z7Ⅱ, Z9, etc(Black)

I'm in a learning phase and using these two lenses on my z fc would be interesting and hopefully fun. Oh, I'm wondering if I can use them to take pictures of the moon like my P950. You can really zoom in on the moon with it. I'll have to wait though as it's been raining and cloudy.

I'm still keeping my z fc camera inside its box. I can test it by taking pictures of the things inside my room but I don't feel like doing it right now. As I've said, I'm waiting for my handgrip and the 50mm lens. I also prefer taking pictures outside.

NIKON NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.8 S Portrait Fast Prime Lens for Nikon Z Mirrorless Cameras

I haven't used this type of camera where you can or have to change the lens for different types of pictures. That's why I wanted to get the 50mm lens. It's also kinda cheap. Whereas the 85mm cost around USD$800. I'll rather play around with my 28 and 50mm first.

There are some 3rd party companies that are selling the lens at almost half the cost. I'm not sure how good they are compared to an original brand name like Nikon. Unless I buy it and test the difference myself. That's why I got myself the z fc. You learn by doing it yourself.

nikon coolpix p950 evening sky from my window #Shorts #Video #photo

Nikon COOLPIX P950 Digital Camera || 24-2000mmLens || 16 MP || Built-in Wi-Fi || Vibration Reduction + Camera Kit Special Including 64GB Memory, Spider Tripod, Photo/Video Editing Package & More

Hey guys,

Check it out!

I haven't gone out for a while with my Nikon Coolpix P950. I've been itching to. But, the pandemic is still on and there's been news of new covid clusters. In malls and bus interchanges. Many bus drivers and staff got the covid-19.

In fact, one of the places that I recently went to was classified as a new cluster. My friend and I were damn lucky to escape from not being infected. We even went to the mall to have our dinner. If you're not gonna get it, you're not gonna get it.

The good thing is that both I and my friend are already fully vaccinated. All of my family and near relatives have been vaccinated too. That doesn't mean, we stop wearing masks or being careful. My relative's son-in-law and his mother recently died of covid.

I think both of them didn't get the chance to get vaccinated. So, if you have the chance to be vaccinated, go for it. Don't listen to that anti-vax. It's not worth risking yourself and your family over political or opinion differences. Use your common sense.

Photographer's Guide to the Nikon Coolpix P950: Getting the Most from Nikon's Superzoom Digital Camera

Anyway, every evening sometime when I look at the sky from my window, the view is pretty amazing. I've taken some pictures and videos with either my Samsung Note 10+ camera or now with my P950. Since I've bought some filter lens, I thought I'll try them out.

I decided to use the variable Neutral Density Adjustable ND Filter lens that I've bought. That's actually how I got the red version of the sky. You can watch it on my #Shorts video here. I'll also post some of the pics below. I only took a few.

Again, I'm an amateur photographer and only recently bought my first point-and-shoot camera the Nikon Coolpix P950. Although I mainly bought it because of the cool superzoom capability, I've always been interested in taking good photos.

That's why I bought all sorts of filter lens and still dabbling with the P950 menu settings. There are still lots of things, I'm not sure of. I've been reading lots of info on using a camera but, I can't quite get a grasp of some things. I'm not really in a hurry though. It's becoming my new hobby.

Nikon Z fc DX-Format Mirrorless Camera Body (Black) 1675 with 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR NIKKOR Z DX Lens (Silver) Bundle with Deco Gear Microphone + LED + Filter Kit + Backpack + Photography Accessories

By the way, have you guys seen the latest Nikon Z fc DX-Format Mirrorless Camera? God damn, I love the design alone. I want to get it when I got the money. It'll be great if you're on holiday or just out and about. It's definitely lighter than my P950 although, you can't zoom far with it.

Check out the evening sky photos that I've taken with my P950 using the variable ND filter below:

Kinda cool to play around with the ND variable filter. You can make the scene brighter or darker. For the P950, I tried it on auto and the night scene. I think it looks nice. Of course, that's my opinion. Also, you don't have to go out to take great sky photos.

We can take great photos from our own near surroundings. Only that, we didn't notice it. I only really start looking at things now that I have a camera. Before, like everyone else, I didn't see the beauty in everyday things. In today's fast phase world, it's time to slow down and enjoy the very simple things in life.
