My red color handlebar and stem finally arrived on Friday and although at first, I thought of fitting it on Saturday evening after work, I decided to straight away do it. The good thing is that I managed to do it a little quicker with less problem than when I do it the first time around.

I guess experience does matter. When I did replacement parts on my foldable mountain bike, I had many problems as it was my first time and most of it is guesswork. But, I managed to settle it in the end. I don't really mind as it was a cheap bike. I'm now thinking of selling it off.

I love my new Raleigh mountain bike. It's a budget bike but I love the design and it's definitely much lighter than my other mtb. I'm also not going crazy about replacing some of the parts as it's very much different or better. That's why at the moment, I just changed the handlebar and bike stem.

I chose red because I didn't want another colorful setup. Also, there's a little nice red art on the bike frame. I love the pro-Honsun design, and already know the quality of their product. Like the little dragon design on it. They're also pretty light.

Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You might like a different color or design. There are plenty of them. In any case, I'm still thinking if I want to change the bike pedal. I think the one on my Raleigh mountain bike is the cheap type.

Okay, just another excuse for me to change it. I'm also going for red. I'm still looking around as I like the one with a little different and cool design. There's no point for me to change anything if there's nothing cool about the new parts.

I like going for long distance right either with my mountain bike or road bike. I think now, I'll prefer my road bike as it seems I can ride faster and further with it. Though, I also like riding long distance on my mountain bike too. Simply because a mtb is more flexible.

When I was a kid, I didn't really enjoy cycling. I didn't really use it. My dad bought me a 2nd hand bike that was to me really ugly. I think it was made up of parts that someone just scrap from other old bikes. I hate the handlebar and it has two different size tires.

I end up leaving the ugly bike lock-up in a rental public housing building. I came back after a while wondering if it's still there but it was gone. My 2nd bike was a mountain bike and it was much prettier in pink. It was so pretty a girl asked me if she could test ride it.

I only needed it to and fro to a friend house for our TKD aka tae kwon do training. I think it was in the early 90s and like how I can easily climb grass slope with it. After I finished school, and stop visiting my friend that I stop cycling and end up just giving the bike away. 

Now, several decades later, I'm back to cycling and loving it!

I was randomly checking out mountain bikes on an online store when I saw an offer for a new Raleigh X Philip RL900 mountain bike. After I asked a few questions about its gear speed upgrade from 27 to 30-speed, I decided to grab it as it's one of the last two available.

I've seen the Raleigh brand bikes before but not really into it. There aren't many designs that I like. Not particularly a fan of their logo on the bike fork. But, sometimes, the pictures don't really show off their beauty until you see them for yourself.

When I went to look at its online store again, it was sold out. I was already been thinking of getting a polygon brand bike that is selling at $600. It was on show at a bike shop where I had to send my foldable mountain bike for a new tire replacement.

Yes, my bike tire literally went out with a loud bang. It sounded like a freaking gunshot. Though, when I heard it, I wasn't really surprised. I think I had over-pumped it the day before. I'm not really sure what caused it though. It happens right after I went over a road bump.

I thought I might have cut the tire side but, there wasn't any sharp end. The side of the tire was ripped and I didn't really see the inner tube. I was lucky it happens near my workplace and there was a bike shop nearby. A colleague showed me the exact place.

I send over my bike during lunchtime and told the bike shop owner to change both the tires. He said mine was a cheap made-in-china type. I replied that I had cycled faraway distances for almost a year without any problem. Anyway, he showed me my new tires and I've been using them since.

The thing is, I felt more comfortable with my original tires and it seems wider than the one I have now. In fact, I'm still getting used to it and my confidence seems to have disappeared. I'm afraid to go down a small hill with it. But, I might one day. It doesn't seem too steep looking from below. Lol.

Anyway, they're building a new track slope near my workplace so I don't have to cut through grass anymore. If I chose to go to work on my road bike I don't have to make a big round too. I love riding to work on my mountain bike or my road bike. It's a good quick workout or rather a warmup.

I find that getting a mid-budget bike is pretty much good enough for a regular rider like me. I'm already too old to join any competition even if I'm interested. I got into riding again because I wanted to exercise and particularly to slim down my big belly. 

I still have a big belly but I've managed to lose some weight. I also got a little fitter and am able to cycle to faraway parks and nature reserves. I love cycling and enjoying nature and visiting beaches. Satisfied with my new bikes and learned how to maintain and changed parts.

I've stickers out my bike and some accessories that were included as free gifts. Already bought a new handlebar and stem. Can't wait for them to arrive and fix them on my Raleigh mountain bike. The handlebar is a little too low and hurt my back so I also bought a stem extender.

Most of the time, I don't like to wear shoes. I love using crocs. When I saw the ads for Adidas with the gold strip though, I said, "I want that!". For some reason, it's always not available. Either online or offline. Maybe, it's that popular.

I saw that the shoe is now available, of course, I quickly ordered it. Now, finally, I've got the shoe that I've always wanted. And, yes it's really nice and cool looking. I'm not sure why the Adidas stripe and the logo appeal to me. Lol.

I bought my Adidas superstar online and after buying a couple of shoes, I now know what size I should really be choosing. Although, I believe it depends on your personal preferences. One rule is that you should buy a size that's a little bigger than your feet' measurement.

The first shoe I bought online, nearly killed me. It was so freaking tight. I had blisters all over my feet. I bought it for work. I sold it to my colleague who likes the design and it fits him to the T. Recently, I bought a hiking boot, and this time, I chose a little bigger.

When the boot arrives, it fits my feet snugly inside. The Adidas shoe is kinda a little tight but not as tight as the shoe that I've sold. I chose the same size as my hiking boot. I don't want it to be too big or loose or it'll look like I'm wearing a Macdonald's shoe.

I've tried loosening the shoe laces and it's much better. I think, the side of the shoe is brand new and it'll start to soften up in time. I'll only be wearing it for certain events when I need a nice shoe to wear. I've actually bought another Adidas NMD shoe which I'll be using more frequently.

I'm not going to go running as I have bad knees. Just needed a shoe when going out and about or cycling. I'm not cycling just for the sake of cycling. I cycle to parks and interesting places. That's why I don't buy cycling shoes. They're only good for err..cycling.

Another reason why I bought a hiking boot. I might cycle to a hiking place, park my bike and go hiking before returning back to cycle to another location or return home. I prefer to cycle rather than take public transport. I save around $80/mth just cycling to and fro from home to work and vice versa.

I decided to get myself a hiking boot since I'll be hiking to the parks soon. I haven't been trekking or checking out nature for a long time. Mostly because I was busy with work and too tired to go out. I'll rather stay at home and watch youtube or play games.

It was only when I bought a mountain bike and started cycling to work that I realized there are beautiful and quiet places where you can go to enjoy nature and relax. First, I re-discovered the joy of cycling. Second, I discovered places that I never knew existed.

My main motivation was to start exercising and get back my six-packs. That's why I decided to get a bicycle and cycle to work rather than take the bus. It's not far but I need to get over a little slope which I call my personal 'slope of hell'. I had trouble getting over the slope in my first few months.

I did think the foldable bike that I bought wasn't suitable for my robust riding style. Maybe, the cheap bike wasn't good enough as I've seen those expensive types with better gears. Anyway, I did finally manage to cycle up the slope but did it better with a mountain bike.

I'm ex-military, infantry. Training long day and night walk for missions. I love walking through the jungles. I thought I was done walking and camping. It's only now almost 30 years later that I started to enjoy doing physical, cycling, and walking enjoying what nature has to offer.

One thing I worry about is my bad knees. Every night, I'll have cramps but recently discover that drinking energy and even fruit juices help soothes my cramps and help me sleep at night. I thought only my calcium magnesium zinc vitamins helps.

I don't have any medicine for my knees except medicated oil. I've done an x-ray and luckily there are no broken bones. Obviously, or I won't even be able to walk. But, there's still pain so I'm assuming it's just the muscles tissue problem. The doc makes me realize that my knees don't swell.

I do feel it getting warmer if I walk or stand too long. I can't run or jump or go down the staircase. That's why I prefer cycling. Hoping, it might help improve and heals my knee muscles. So far it's not working. In fact, my legs start to be over-strained.

Well, it certainly won't stop me from enjoying cycling or hiking. And, I'll enjoy it more with my new hiking boots. Oh yeah, wearing this type of boot reminds me how my army boots actually help protect my ankles. At my age right now, I can't afford to break anything. Lol.

I love the GoPro Hero 10 Black. I've always wanted to buy a GoPro so that I can record while on the go. I've tried it out when cycling on my Java Veloce road bike. But, I didn't use the chest mount as it is kinda cumbersome.

Before I had the GoPro, cycling to Coney Island, I thought to myself if only I had an action camera. Now, that I finally have it, using it to record my ride on the little island. Which is excellent for mountain biking. Though, it's not a mountain. It's fun for off-road riding.

You can watch my coney island cycling biking video here. It was my first time using the chest mount and I make the mistake of not testing it out first. So, the first few mins are videos of the road, my legs, and the handlebar. I keep it as it's a different point of view.

After I reach the beach, which is another reason why you want to go cycling on coney island. I reposition the camera again. Oh yeah, I took some pictures with the GoPro and it's actually not that bad. It's great if you want everything to be on the GoPro MicroSD card.

Having all your videos and pictures in one card makes it easy and faster to transfer to your mobile or PC. I'm the lazy type so, I like everything to be in one easy-access place. Though, I did take videos and pictures on my iPhone 13. Especially, when you want to upload the #shorts video.

I brought my Nikon P950 camera along too but decided not to use it. Makes me wonder if I need it anymore since, my mobile phones and GoPro seems already good enough. But, then I thought, I still like using the P950 mostly because of the zoom capabilities.

The problem for me is that I'll be needing a bigger backpack to bring all these stuff and their accessories. Of course, when you go cycling, you want to go light. But, I'm making videos for my youtube channel and other social media platform. So, I need to bring them along.

Yes, I already have bike bags if you're wondering. But, I prefer a backpack so that they'll always be with me and I don't have to worry about them being stolen if I leave them on my bicycle bags. I also don't want to put bike bags on my road bike.

One day, I might want to get a drone that has the 'follow me' feature. I cycle alone and although there are ways to record yourself riding, having a drone that follows and record you in action will be practical and way cool. I'll need to save up though as they're pretty expensive.

I've played with drone and there are skill sets to master. Also, there are some place where drone are ban. You'll have to be mindful of that when using drone. Technology is good when it's for good reason but when people starts to abuse it's usage, we all suffer.

The pic is my foldable mountain bike. Some don't like it and saying thing such as it's crap. Just because, it's cheap doesn't mean it's not good. I cycle to work with this bike and also when going cycling. The bike is serving me well on my adventure.

Yesterday, I saw a cycler with his big tires type mountain bike. I was wondering why he's pushing his bike when I saw the front flat. His bike looks rather new. Just shows, big tires can easily get punctured too. Another reason why I got the foldable. So, that I can chuck it inside a cab when needs to.

I've been wanting to buy a new Android Tv for a long time. Recently, I found out there's an offer for a new Samsung UHD 55-inch Tv together with a new cable subscriber. Finally, decided to re-contract and got me a brand new Tv at the same time.

The Samsung Tv finally arrived and they help me set it up. I did the cable management once I came back from work. Luckily, my niece had the night shift yesterday, so she was home to wait for the delivery guys to come. My mom told me she wanted to keep the old Tv.

I think at the moment, it's better to keep the old Tv just in case there's any problem with the new one. Also, my mom wants me to mount the old Tv in the kitchen. So that she can watch her favorite Tv shows while cooking. 

I already mount a small monitor in the kitchen. To me the tv is a little too big though. Anyway, I've put it aside till I make a decision what I'm going to do with it. My nephew might want it back. He can use it for multiple monitor setup.

The 55-inch size Tv is the biggest I've ever owned. Looking at it, probably the biggest I'll ever get for my house. Of course, everyone have their own preferences. Nowadays, people like to buy projector tv. You can basically pair it with anything and everything.

I have never tried the projector but decades ago, my ex-colleague used to swear by it. All you need is the projector and an empty wall. I don't haveI have an empty wall big enough for the projector. Projector Tv nowadays are much better in quality.

I like Samsung product and has been using them for years. Let just say, I feel save and comfortable using a known brand. Of course, not every product is perfect. I've heard and seen some of their products fail. Lucky for me, it hasn't happened to me, so far.

I've only had the Tv for two days and so far, I like it. I like the size, thin bezel and the color. There's a lot of settings you can play with. Currently, I've set the screen to movie mode. I might change it to just standard or dynamic later. The volume and channel control button has a little weird design.

The Samsung UHD AU7000 is an android Tv too with many apps available on Play store. I tried going to the internet and checking out youtube. The browser which I'm not sure if it's chrome, seems a little slow. It could be my internet even though new box and router as it's already slow to load anything.

I'm wondering if it's because I didn't take up 5G that they slowed the 4G I'm currently using. The internet seems zippy a few years ago but getting slower and slower as time goes by. In spite of that when watching movies or Tv shows everything looks big and sharper.

I'm still thinking if I should buy a soundbar but right now the sound from the Tv speaker will suffice.
