I don't know how many crossbody sling shoulder bags have I bought. I think one, too many. I actually bought it to be used for work. But, because, I bought myself a big water bottle, it took all the space in the bag. A little too tight for my food package.

I end up using one of my old camo backpacks. Okay, I know. Just because, I used to be in the military, I kept buying camo design bags. It's just that they actually look cool. Military backpacks aren't supposed to look cool. They're supposed to be durable and able to pack all your missions pack.

Nowadays, any bag you put on camo design will instantly make it look cool. Anyway, if there's any other design that looks nice, I'll buy it. Another color that I always choose is black. Obviously. Black is the go-to for most products.

What's funny is that I actually didn't like crossbody shoulder bags before. I thought it looks weird and awkward. I mean, why don't you just get yourself a backpack or messenger bag? It's only recently that I started to start buying and using them.

Some new modern design crossbody sling bags even have security locks. If you have important items like a wallet or passports, it'll be harder for thieves to steal them. Still, it's always good to be vigilant especially when you travel abroad.

Oh, and they're also waterproof. So, you don't have to worry about your electronic devices like the iPad or mini laptop getting wet. This sling bag probably won't be able to fit in your 15-inch laptop, even though they're lighter nowadays, it's still a little too big.

Of course, you can also get a backpack if you carry lots of things. The military design backpacks are very much different than the ones I used to carry. Back then it was pretty basic. Although, very durable. Not waterproof but we put all our stuff inside black trash back instead.

Well, our backpacks will always get muddy and dirty, so no point in using a designer bag in the field. It's not like you want fashion statements among your fellow soldiers. I don't think the military wants to waste money making you look good in front of the enemy too. Lol.

As a civilian though, it's all about looking cool with the latest design crossbody sling shoulder pouch bag.

The other day, I've already got myself a camera shoulder bag. It was good. But, as I've said before, I prefer a backpack because of my slip disc. I've been eyeing the Caden bag backpack. I like that I can quickly access my camera from the side.

Another thing is that it also has a laptop compartment. The one I got supposedly is for the 14" laptop but, I still can slip in my HP 15.6-inch. A little tight. I only realize how small and compact the backpack is till I got it. I guess it's ok since I only use the Nikon Coolpix P950.

Unless you're a professional photo and videographer with all the lenses and even a drone, you'll definitely need a bigger bag. I also bought the backpack just in case, I'm going on holiday. I can bring my camera and my laptop for video editing and uploading while traveling.

I'm pretty eager to go on a holiday again. This time, I'll have my P950 with me. Before this, I only rely on my phone to take pictures and videos. Mobile phones nowadays have a better camera, and you can also quickly edit or upload it to your social media.

Then again, I remembered, I wished I had a camera with the zooming capability like the P900, P950, or the P1000. Now that I have the P950, it is really fun. I can zoom to the moon for closeup and even sailboats out at sea. The mic isn't that bad either. I keep forgetting about that.

I even tried zooming at a mountain and the airplane coming into land near the airport. I'm pretty amazed at how far it can zoom. But, there's a limit to the sharpness though. And, I'm still learning to use the camera. Still dabbling with the settings.

Most of the time, I only use auto-focus. Although, once in a while, I tried the manual. But, I'm having a problem with the manual because I have bad eyesight. I can't see the difference in the sharpness. That's why I rather just use the AF.

I do use the 'Scene' settings though. There are different settings for moon and bird watching. There's the landscape, dusk, and dawn. There's even for a self-portrait. I haven't got the chance to really test all of them out as I just got the camera.

I really like the Caden camera backpack and can't wait to go out, probably this Sunday. Last Sunday, I went to the beach, and even though it was drizzling lightly, I still managed to get several videos and pictures. This time around, I'm following a friend for a little hike.

You can check out the video and pictures I took with my P950 here. I also used my Samsung Note 10+ to take some pictures and videos too. Watch them here. The only difference would be the zooming capability. Just because, I have the P950, doesn't mean, I won't use my phone camera anymore.

The good thing is that now I have several ways to take pictures and videos. I love using my Apple iPad Pro 10.5 for mostly my unboxing videos, while my Nikon P950 and Samsung phone can be used to take pictures and videos while I'm outside. Of course, the P950 83x zoom will come in handy when it's needed.

And, all of them will fit nicely into my camera bag backpack!

I only realized I needed a camera cleaning kit for my Nikon Coolpix P950 after watching a video on how to maintain your camera. I didn't even know there's a cleaning kit for cameras. So, I went searching around and found a complete set that I like.

I also check out what's some of the tools are actually for. I like the pen brush where you can bring along to brush away any little dust stuck on your lens. I also thought to myself getting the UV filter is actually good since it'll also protect my main P950 lens.

Now that I've got the experience of bringing along and using my camera for taking pictures and videos, I now realized how useful the cleaning kit is. I wasn't sure if I'll need to bring them for the trips. You never know what's the weather or situation be like.

Last Sunday, it was lightly drizzling and I regret not bringing the cleaning kit. I didn't even have a cloth to clean the lens or protect it from the splash of rain. I kept worrying that a few drops of rain will go inside through the mic holes.

When I went back home, I quickly do a search if there are any waterproof camera housing bags and there are actually a few types that I like. As I'm using the P950, I need a protector that would also follow the zoom size. The choice is pretty limited.

Frankly, whenever I search for any kind of accessories for my Nikon Coolpix P950, it's pretty limited. It's as if nobody is creating any products for the P900, P950, or P1000. When I search for stuff, I practically have to guess if it'll also fit my P950.

Right now, I'm waiting for my new camera backpack. I decided to get a backpack after getting the shoulder bag. My idea was to put the shoulder bag inside one of my big backpacks but even though it's giving good protection, kinda a hassle to take the camera out every now and then.

I was interested in the backpack design that has a slot at the side. So, I can easily take it out and put it back in once I'm done. I can also just tie my tripod at the bottom of the bag. I don't know why some camera backpack doesn't include a way to carry your tripod.

The Nikon Coolpix P950 is just a point-and-shoot camera. So, I don't need big spaces for extra lenses inside the backpack. If I'm traveling to other countries, I would just need this bag. I can bring along my HP laptop for editing and uploading to my youtube channel.

Of course, I'll bring along my camera cleaning kit and other accessories too. I like the idea of a separate shoulder bag that you can bring along instead of the whole bag. You can leave them at the hotel while you go out light. Pretty nifty. 

Because of the covid-19 pandemic right now, we can't really travel. But, some countries like Thailand are already opening up to tourists. Watch my holiday in Krabi Thailand video here. I actually just use my S10+ camera. Now, I'm pretty excited to travel with my Nikon Coolpix P950!

Got me a shoulder bag for my Nikon Coolpix P950. And, I'm loving it. It seems a little cramp though. It's because there are two pad dividers and the P950 is pretty big. In the end, I just use one of the dividers to cover the top side. Double protection!

I actually wanted to get the shoulder bag that enables you to bring along a tripod below the bag. But, when I wanted to order it, it was out of stock. So, I end up getting the simple shoulder bag. The most important thing is to have a protection case for my new camera.

One of the camera bags I like is the usual backpack but with a slot that you can slide out from the side. Pretty nifty. You can put the rest of your accessories inside the top side and the pockets available. I think if you're just using a digital camera, you don't need one with so many pads.

I have a split disc. That means a bad back problem. Carrying a messenger bag isn't a good idea. But, I didn't like the design of most camera backpacks. That's why I thought of getting this shoulder bag that can fit inside one of my bigger backpacks.

I've been preparing and buying accessories for my camera. Also been checking out some of the videos on the camera and the pictures and videos taken. Most of them are of the wildlife. But, some in urban areas are pretty good. Especially, in the low light. I'm assuming they have to edit them though.

If you have been reading my last few posts, you'll know that I'm pretty much a newbie in photography. Well, if you don't count using the camera phone. But, I'm curious to try out the UV filter. Especially, on the P950. Wondering, if it would really make the pictures and videos much better.
